There are some great energy stocks  that pay pretty good regular dividends.

What I've been really excited by recently is Motif Investing (https://www.motifinvesting.com/). You can create a group of stocks (20 or fewer) and then invest in that group like you'd invest in a mutual fund. Use any theme you want to create your group or use the pre-existing groups or "motifs" provided. You can also search 100s of motifs by recent gains, topic, and other valuable information filters. The cost per trade is low and this really gets you great exposure to whatever business trend you see taking off, without the risk of investing in one company at a time.

Why are other developers against a move to Bitcoin XT?

"Discuss about price after funding"...that seems pretty darn skeptical! I tihnk you should either explain further why you don't want to discuss price until funded OR keep everything out in the open before you seek people to fund your idea with their hard earned cash, err bitcoin.

I would try to get ads on existing poker websites, sports information sites, and tabloid-esque websites (i.e., TMZ, NYPost, Telegraph, etc.) You need to find the type of people that gamble at the places they frequent online - gambling, news, and gossip.

No, let's see how much time there is in a day to roll. Afterall, you said you wanted to crush it, non stop, right?

1 roll per second is likely not possible due to the timers of the faucets, but 1 roll per minute is possible. Let's go with that. 60 minutes in an hour, 15 hours a day (you said you want to work at this) = 900 minutes (and potential rolls) per day. That'll give you just under $2 per day in earning potential. I don't know how far it gets you where you are, but at least you now have a real idea on what's possible...and how much effort it requires.

Todd, I wonder how many American products, information, art, music, movies, books, apps, and ideas you surround yourself in your world...  The browser you likely use to access the forum was created by people in the USA (perhaps not Americans in every case, but the companies exist in the US). The World Wide Web was created in the US, by Americans. That's concept that interacts people around the world over the internet. Without that ingenuity you wouldn't be able to access this forum to spread your discontent.

If killing innocent people = evil. And killing those that kill innocent people = good. How can a powerful idea, that is evil, ever attract more than the idea that is good? I don't think ISIS will ever win. Their advancements are over areas in the world that are susceptible persuasion, influence, and blind faith. These are areas that have week government, military, and infrastructure to begin with. Areas that don't subscribe (let alone are able) to ruling locally by force. It's not a  surprise that ISIS has grown in Syria. Could it grow in the world? I don't think so. A world war, one with combined forces from a few countries, would put an end to it.

There's a responsibility for the Middle East to control their own. The West has learned that through endless (decades of) intervention. That's why the world, largely, waits. Liberation is only possible if it's lead by the people that want to be liberated. The border of the control ISIS can have is limited to those that choose not to fight their direct oppression.

Evil never wins. ISIS is evil. If they weren't evil they would believe what they believe without forcing the entire world to also subscribe to their ideology. ISIS is greedy, no different from "the evil corporations". That's probably the greatest irony of their reign.

We need more research and analysis. Also, I'd benefit from learning more about the rationale for your analysis...more so than the actual numbers. Soooo, when will you be updating your 2014 chart so we can hear about your analysis?

Looks like the "decisive move" was to the downside, it's trading now at $233. Of course, that's not much of a move. What's the general sense of the lack of volatility. It certainly allows people to conduct more transactions with the confidence in value, but it would also allow people to stock up their reserves with a lower (than in recent past) and more stable price.

There's nearly 6,000 of this coins minted, 5100 still exist unredeemed. At these kind of prices there's a lot of people that could make a MINT on these sales. There's just barely more of the 2012 S2 and 2013 S2 versions unredeemed than there are of this error. With these kind of numbers it'll be interesting to see what the really scarce coins draw in sales prices over the next few years.

If you make a high quality version on Casascius coins only, i'm in - seriously, i'd sign up today.

I'm not a fan of any of the other physical bitcoins. To me, they're all just copycats of Casascius and don't hold a fraction of value to the original. They're cheap imitations of the original. If I'm offending anyone, it's not intentional, just my true feelings.

As for your book, can you share any early prints or screenshots so people know the general look of what they'r buying? IF there's anything additional I can do to help, please let me know.

Ha, seriously, this is the best location to find Casascius coins, reliably. (Although I personally take exception to some of the prices people want, but that's a completely different story and entirely up to the buyer and seller.) I've bought these coins on eBay too, which has worked out well, but you just have to be patient and wait for an auction to come out. The coins that I see on eBay now have been sitting their for a year at their $1000-$2500 price (insane!). There's a reason they haven't sold.

I'll offer that service for you. I'll charge only 1% of the transaction amount - fairly cheap! I've only heard of individuals doing this for any sort of transaction.
