2402  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The truth about the BFL 1000 BTC fund? on: November 17, 2013, 01:18:50 PM
I would like to reiterate that the topic here is the fund, not the business or Inaba's personality).

... But Zerlan's personality and arrogant behavior is getting in the way of, and cheapening the entire premise of their "fund"

You can't have a discussion about the fund, and not discuss Josh's deplorable behavior, based on the comments you yourself have posted from him.
2403  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: List of upcoming 28nm ASICs and estimated shipping date on: November 17, 2013, 05:22:53 AM
KnC gen 2 is going to smoke.

No doubt, but that's too far off to entertain at this time. I would like to be one of the first in line for KNCs next offering.
2404  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: List of upcoming 28nm ASICs and estimated shipping date on: November 17, 2013, 05:01:13 AM
Cointerra seems like the winner, although it's 6k for a February order, not January, best I can tell. Have sent them in inquiry about placing an order. Thanks a lot for putting that together.
2405  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinCraft A1 28nm promises up to 2 TH/s at 0.35-1W/GH on: November 17, 2013, 01:57:02 AM
They seem expensive pretty expensive compared to Cointerra's price for 2Th..

Don't these hit before cointerra ?
2406  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [FAILED]Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: November 17, 2013, 01:48:48 AM
I would like to take the bet,but.............since I got my BFL 30GH'er soooo late,I'm only earning .02BTC per day............so that's not even 1 BTC per month,Thanks again!!!!  Tongue

I'd take the bet myself, but I really have no desire to feed the troll, so-to-speak. Can't do it on principle; not entertaining even for a second to spend money in any way, on anything related to Butterfly Labs - Even if it's a sure-fire bet winner.

 It's just not worth it.
2407  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinCraft A1 28nm promises up to 2 TH/s at 0.35-1W/GH on: November 16, 2013, 09:19:24 PM
Damnit... I suppose I should pull the trigger on ordering a January 2TH unit...
2408  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: November 16, 2013, 05:37:16 PM
why did you need the voltmeter then?

Used it to troubleshoot and identify the 3 h-cards I requested an RMA for. Took a voltmeter to all the cards in the second rig while testing 16 cards one-by-one.

Also used the voltmeter to tune a couple Erupter Blades I have a while back.

Seems like a good geek tool to have in any respectable tool-bag either way.
2409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: November 16, 2013, 03:56:38 PM
what did you do to get them going at that speed?
anyone have a recommendation for a voltmeter?

Played a game of "musical h-cards" where I ran the rig for about 5 minutes, took note of which cards were faster than others, shutdown, moved the faster cards to the front, and slower cards to the back, restart, etc.

Also, FANS FANS FANS ! Lots of airflow ! These guys really need to stay cool and ventilated.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EK3NRS/ is what I'm using to tune my gear.
2410  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: List of upcoming 28nm ASICs and estimated shipping date on: November 16, 2013, 03:51:56 PM
All I know is, I want another 2TH ASAP, and not sure which horse to bet on; Coincraft or CoinTerra Sad

Would love to buy more BitFury product (even though it's 55nm), or KNC, but neither appear to be available for purchase/delivery before the new year :/

*grumbles*
2411  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: November 16, 2013, 03:41:56 PM
Has anyone had success contacting sales re: RMA's ? Have been waiting on a response for an RMA on 3 bad h-cards Sad

RMA issues aside, these rigs are beasts once they are configured and placed in an environment with proper cooling ! The one full rig I have up and running has settled around 535 GHs !
2412  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: November 16, 2013, 06:05:55 AM
I see shares being accepted on both us1 and nl1. Hope they are being counted despite front-end stuff being down.
2413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 16, 2013, 01:01:27 AM
In retrospect, wish I purchased a couple KNC rigs Sad Not sure what horse to bet on next  Undecided February seems too far away to wait for a CoinTerra or HashFast preorder.

Oh, and going back to physically stabilizing the cards, did anyone else think to use the mount-holes on the H-cards to bind them together using bolts, dowels, or something similar?  I imagine it would be quite tedious to set up and you would want to make sure the cards where working well first...
A proper case to mount everything to would do it:
Send me a PM.   Roll Eyes
FWIW, just ordered two of these from Spotswood. Can't wait to get 'em ! Will be sure to post pics when I have everything situated.
I already got one and  I am thinking get one for gpus.
how can i get one of those? who do i contact?

Reading comprehension failure Sad

Go for a couple Blue Fury's. Butterfly Labs does not deserve the business of this community.

I realize that this is no excuse for inadequate customer service and I am not trying to duck our responsibility to our customer

 Oh, just fuck off, Josh.

You've made a career out of ducking responsibility and fucking people in the ass (unlubed) while deriving orgasmic pleasure from your power-tripping. This "apology" seems about as genuine and honest as your previous shipping estimates.

If you want to take responsibility for your actions, do the honorable thing, quit your job at Butterfly Labs, and pass the mantle to a pro.

Maybe then the healing can begin, but so long as you remain at Butterfly Labs, your company is tainted by your unforgivable historical contempt and arrogance.

You should have at least kept your commitment to follow through with Seppuku back in April.

2418  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 14, 2013, 06:24:25 AM
No Sad I can't mine without them.
May I ask how the lack of a USB bootloader or lack of i2c chaining prevents you from mining ?
Secondly, I'm not sure how to connect it to the computer if don't have a USB connector.
Thirdly, I live in Australia. USB connectors here are upside down...

The bootloader code is required to update the firmware via USB connection. It can connect to a computer just fine and mine over USB presently. Speaking as someone who has a number of these K16's mining in my farm presently.

If you are not concerned about needing to easilly update the firmware at a future date, and wish to start mining ASAP, I would recommend you ask for your miners to be shipped immediately. It is unlikely you will ever need to update the firmware.

The only thing I might want to update the firmware for, is if they ever fix the issue with needing to re-plug the fan on the board header in order to get the system to recognize them on boot, however, I'm going to re-wire my K16 rack this weekend to run the fans off 4-pin Molex, so the fan bug won't be much of an issue for me soon.

If you'd like to update the firmware at some future time on these, you will need to acquire a PiCkit 3 programmer like the one described here. http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en538340&redirects=pickit3

These programmers can be had for ~$40 USD on EBay if you enjoy tinkering.

Y I FU has balls of steel to get involved with that.Glad I didn't buy anything directly from Avalon. Those who did,he's gonna "share" your info with the US gov,did I read that correctly Huh

Correction: The people involving themselves with Yifu either have balls of steel, or have not done their homework on just what sort of a businessman he is... Or maybe they did their homework and decided he's just corrupt enough to join their ranks...
