2421  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: October 23, 2020, 09:28:45 PM
The apps i only recognized on the list are coinbase and nexo so i would judge it a legit apps but i don't think it will not give profitable as possible and based on my experienced it really requires time and effort to make real money on these money paying apps. Despite the slow earning on these apps, it's a good start also for newbies in crypto industry wherein i also started my crypto experienced on free money making apps, paid to click, faucets and now currently doing airdrop, bounties and little bit of trading.
From what I could understood all of the mentioned apps were mostly cashback so you are not going to earn money directly instead you are going to make cashback based on how much shopping you do through those apps. I cannot classify apps that are providing cashback as money making apps. Although there are some cool apps mentioned which I have never tried and there was some unique mentions like foap which I have never used but if I can earn by taking pictures it fulfills the passion and also earn money and sounds very innovative.

But to be honest all such apps pay a very small amount and it is not even worth recharging your mobile, if you are a big shopper then maybe some of the mentioned apps can be useful but otherwise I don't think the list is very good.
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 23, 2020, 06:54:11 PM
no I think smart contracts can't stop operating, I mean like ethereum's erc20 platform. every day we have seen that new projects are always popping up endlessly, although some of them turn into dead coins. New developers will never care about the project, they will continue to develop new coins and leave if the previous project doesn't go well.
Yeah, all these projects keep getting some investment from time to time so even the scam projects get an inspiration and the truth is that it costs literally a few hundred bucks to setup a scam project by making a website and copy various whitepapers and combine them into one. Most of the coins are dead because they don't get the required support and some never actually had the intention to build them and all they wanted was investor's money.

Imposible, there are no time no new altcoin project created. Everytime new altcoin project is created and now is not only from Ethereum Smart Contract. There are many other smart contract (Binance Smart Contract and Tron Smart Contract).
That's right and there are so many platforms now to create altcoins so they are not limited to making new tokens based on ETH blockchain. I wonder how all this is gonna stop because there are at least 100-200 new projects being made daily and imagine how many coins we are going to have in coming time, although good thing is scam tokens keep dying so the market get's cleared up eventually.

-snip-
This guy is definitely a whale and have tons of coins on his stash.
I strongly assume that for this player the 300 BTC is only a fraction of his assets and he sees this stack as play money, just like when we bet $10 worth of BTC Wink
If somebody accumulated thousands of BTC in the early days of Bitcoin, he probably has already afforded everything he ever wanted to afford. With such a large financial cushion, the 300 BTC are bearable should he actually lose them.

On the other hand I imagine the time from clicking the button to the display of the result as really exciting when you know you might have just lost 4 million USD Grin
What you have to realize is money is money and doesn’t matter how much of it you have as long as you have it that is still money that could do the same thing. This dude is betting a luxury villa or maybe even a cheap castle amount of money each bet! That is big money even if you are a super rich person.

Thousands of bitcoins total makes a very big amount and I rather not spend that on gambling even if I was incredibly rich, I would rather spend that money on investment or real estate or something else, that makes more sense. Just because someone is a whale doesn’t mean him spending this much on each bet is easy choice, he could lose a whole lot of money no matter how much money you have losing a whole building worth of money is never easy.
2424  Economy / Economics / Re: How can Bitcoin help build a digital global? on: October 23, 2020, 02:46:04 PM
I understand people "may" have trouble with believing the "decentralized" notion of bitcoin because let's be honest there is not a true decentralization in the entire world right now which creates some sort of problem, and that is why I think there is a big problem of people not giving trust to a trustless system as well.

However satoshi is gone and he is not improving or changing anything neither, at the very worst case he could come back and sell his coins and drop the price of bitcoin but that's it, he could just change the price of bitcoin and not the bitcoin itself, not the code, not the blockchain, it is just going to be something like a regular whale selling but times ten that's it, which is why I highly suspect that people should not be really worried about satoshi coming back neither.
2425  Economy / Economics / Re: Are online communities dead ? I can't find online communities to advertise ... on: October 23, 2020, 01:58:23 PM
Yeah, reddit is definitely one of the best when it comes to promoting something. I have done a lot of marketing there for games and I know its unrelated to crypto but it really worked out very well for the games I was promoting.

It was not crypto at all however isn’t it the same logic? You promote something you made to tell people spend money on it? That is why I highly suspect that it would work the same way. You just have to find a ton of subreddits and share your product there and if you could have a subreddit of your own that would be awesome for you as well to gather some community.
Indeed reddit actually works equally well for crypto related services too given you have a portfolio to show and some credibility to offer. I often use reddit to find such service providers so I know that it works.

I believe one can post here in this forum in the marketplace-> services section because there are not many people who offer their services there and one might easily get some members to buy their services once you post a good portfolio and some your prices are reasonable. Also you can contact so many ICOs out there and seek for work from them.
2426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 23, 2020, 07:02:30 AM
Have you tried LuckyBit? It's provably fair and free as listed in the OP. Their dice game has a different look compared to other casinos I've played with. You might want to check that out. If you're a new player, you'll get a $20 welcome bonus. Other promotions include 100% first deposit bonus. T&C applies though.
Indeed and they are giving out some other type of bonuses too and their dice concept (visualization) is really cool and different from traditional dice games and plinko is good because we can stack a lot of bets and watch them go in real time.

You can finely check it to the casino and others are including it into their FAQs but if it's not indicated, you can have it see on your profile account and see the limits.
I don't think there should ever be a maximum withdraw because user should be able to withdraw his wins/deposits all he needs and anytime he wants although there might be a maximum withdraw limit per transaction but surely you can make multiple withdrawals and big ones usually go a security check and once approved are sent immediately.
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 22, 2020, 07:06:10 PM
To be honest, as a football fan, watching the game without spectators at the stadium reduces the excitement of the match.
But like it or not we really have to get used to this new game setup, even though we really don't want it.
It is till better to have some games going on even without fans in the stadium than to have no games at all and waiting for the pandemic to end and hope the stadiums will be filled. Also I think even after the pandemic will get over and people return to normal life I expect the crowd to reduce in numbers because there will always be a fear among people of making huge gatherings and a slight chance of getting corona positive is enough to keep the fans away.

As a gambler I don't mind if games are being played with filled stadiums or empty ones as long as they are happening and we have some real matches to bet on because Simulated Reality sports are just plain dumb and I rather prefer playing slots than betting on those.
2428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have Good advice for investors on: October 22, 2020, 06:35:35 PM
What you want to explain is very important to the trader or investor. One thing to keep in mind is that technical analysis alone cannot make a crypto trader successful.
Good analysis on technical aspects can actually make you successful because once you start to learn how the project works and what are the scaling options like will the coin survive in the long run and dos the mechanism of the coin good enough to sustain the value of the coin and a lot more factor are there as I am still learning.

Technical analysis is also very much needed, but traders need to learn a lot more before jumping on the technical analysis from Ananya. This trader should be stronger with basic analysis. Only then can they be able. An investor should be sure about the currency he is going to trade. The currency should be invested only with the current news .
Who is Ananya? I haven't heard about any trader with that name so maybe you want to share some details about it? And I don't agree on "currency should be invested only with the current news" because there is so much fake and paid news being going on now it is hard to trust any of them.
2429  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Survey]Do we need to provide KYC documents in any cryptocurrency exchanges? on: October 22, 2020, 03:53:19 PM
Currently, most of the exchanges (CEX) are KYC required. As we all know, most of the crypto currencies (especially bitcoin) are decentralized and anonymous.
Because these exchanges are centralized they have to give the reports to the authority so while Bitcoins are decentralized the platform we are trading them are centralized and Bitcoins are not meant to be anonymous in my opinion it is just one property of being decentralized currency.

Why should those exchanges collect our personal information? Do you think KYC is necessary?
Because like I said they need to pay taxes on the gross income and they have to make sure there are no fraudulent traders and things like stolen funds or money laundering is not going on through their exchange.

I think doing KYC actually makes us strong because imagine if the exchange tries to scam we at least have our ID verified and clear from our side to file a claim.
2430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 22, 2020, 08:41:30 AM
Specially If You are Country Where the laws not Crypto trader Friendly?
I don't know if I am eligible to answer because we have approved exchanges here that accept members from my country but honestly if I was in such a situation I would rather not trade and do P2P trades from websites like localbitcoins than to trade using a VPN and risking my all coins to be swallowed by the exchange once they know the reality.

I am not entirely sure but maybe dex can help you in such situation because they are not centralized and hence you are never at any kind of risk but really unsure as I give this advice because I haven't used many of them.
2431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2017/2018 Bullrun repeat in 2021? on: October 22, 2020, 05:11:00 AM
In 2018, there was no bull run for bitcoin but few altcoin hit their ATHs. I mean if you refer both scenario of 2017 and 2018 to be happening in 2021 then I am doubtful on that. Moreover, we need to count the consequences of on-going pandemic as investors may allocate major portion of their reserved funds for food and other emergency needs and low percentage for long term investments like bitcoins. It means FOMO may be less wilder than what we experienced in 2017 with bitcoin markets.

All the above, I am optimistic about experiencing another strong bull rally of bitcoin which may lead to grow of bitcoin prices to another 10 fold. Because, bitcoin always is following 4-year-cycle which is usually triggered by halving. Hence, another 10x growth of bitcoin is still due, thanks to 2020 BTC halving.
2432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price has surpassed $12k!!! on: October 21, 2020, 09:04:14 PM
It is really surprising that we are constantly getting higher and higher we have already broken two resistance points back to back and that is a very important achievement for us, it shows that bitcoin will break some more resistance points to be a lot higher if given enough time. 2021 will be a much better year, I don't know at what price we will get into 2021 but I know that it looks like we are going to get in a lot better than we assumed.

Maybe it will be 15k maybe 20k or maybe even higher but I know that deep inside we all assume at least 15k and more will happen before 2021, that is why I am still holding my coins, I could sell right now and make a profit but I am not selling at all, why? Because I feel like there is a chance it could get to at least 15k, I will wait for that before I consider selling.
Reality is that no matter how much we go down or up, these prices are not huge nor they are too small, they are literally what we can call middle, which means we are going to be around eventually and that means if we fall to anything under 11k, we are going to see above 11k again eventually so there is no problem from buying there, and if we go above 14-15k we are going to go down to these prices as well without a question as well, which means buying and selling at the right time is great too.

These are all great reasons to buy, there is really no reason to sell because if you think price of bitcoin (or any altcoin) will be back to what it is right now, that means there is no downfall, at worst you are going to have to wait a bit but in the end you are going to get your money back at worst.
2433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does having a lot of investing money make trading for a living much easier? on: October 21, 2020, 08:23:12 PM
Huge capital=huge gains/losses
Small capital=small gain/losses

Risk takers will prefer to fund big amounts and the reason why? It is because they don't mind about losing, no, they don't think about a chance to lose but instead, they positive about what they have started. The difference between the two small and big are just the numbers, they all can possibly lose but if you are good on how to make a trade, the chances of losing are quite low which it gives the idea why most successful traders are preferred for this.

I think that is why sometimes, the risk-taker can have any chance to get a better result than the other people because they can accept the risk, and they can work hard to reach what they want. But that is not always happening to them because sometimes, they can lose their money, but that will not stop them from using a big amount as investment or trading.
I doubt whales wouldn't worry about money, there was a book from Kevin O'leary famous shark tank investor and he talked about his past and how he became a rich person, and I could tell you that when he sold his company and put his money in investment instead of starting something new, he lost a big chunk of money once, and when that happened he was furious and very upset over it and he said he cried all night about it (don't know how real that is) and that is why I think whales do care about their money as well.

They might actually care about it more than you and me, if I ever crash and get poor, I am not too rich to crash too much money, in the end I will recover after few years, but when a super wealthy whale loses money, he becomes poor and that is not something you can regain so its the end for him.
2434  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: October 21, 2020, 03:31:11 PM
Thanks stake team for running such promotions and did anyone saw that fight? It was quite hilarious how 2 judges gave the fight decision in favor of the losing fighter which even he acknowledged.
It was funny and Daniel Cormier felt lost because he was interviewing a guy who thought he lost and was not sure what to ask him after the fight was over and it was hilarious really because usually fighters in the UFC are cocky and hard to find such humble guys.

Personally I thought that it was a very very close fight with Kutateladze winning the first 1.5 rounds and then there was a great recovery by Mateusz in the remaining 1.5 rounds and the late flourish from Kutateladze at the end might have turned the fight in his favor in my opinion and it was anyone's fight and maybe even a draw was justified indeed.
2435  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 20, 2020, 09:01:48 PM
Cuz I scrolled back several days and it looks like it's always the same ID number in the top slot winning the jackpot.

That tends to be what happens with high rollers. One person will dominate it for a while and then they stop playing and another one comes along.
When someone has like 200+ bitcoins to wager (as in have 200+ in their bankroll) and can play until that is over, on average that dude could make it for like 30+ days straight without ever becoming second, which would mean he would also get a ton of money back as well, not all of it back probably but more than half if I am not wrong.

So, not only the whales of freebitcoin end up gambling more consistently since they are whales and we do not have the money they have to ever rival them and make money, but we also have to remember they are making some of their money back as well, maybe not profiting but still helping them continue for far longer than gambling anywhere else so they keep coming back for the jackpot if they know they could win it with the money they have.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 20, 2020, 06:57:48 PM
Well, there is a big difference between what you asked at the start of the paragraph and the question you are asking at the end of it and at the topic name.

The reason why they bought at 1 dollar and at 3 dollars they were still waiting was not to take more profit only, it was also the fact that they trusted it and they thought it was something brand new that would be a big part of crypto world and that is why they waited for something like 4-5 dollars or even more. That is the answer to the main question.

However about why wait when it is 45 cents to go back over 3 dollars is different, that is because if you wait you could see it go back above 1 dollar at least, that is not the same reason to wait, one of them (the first one) is to make more profit, here it is not to lose any money, different mindsets.
2437  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 20, 2020, 09:24:01 AM
It made worst when rumors says that the financial support had not reach to them or just being kept by the local officials for their own interest.
Well, I was already expecting that to be said, there are always the bad government officials that keeps oppressing the poor, they never get tired of the money they get from the government, they will still block the pennies that will be given to the poor citizens and keep for themselves.

Tell me, if things should continue like this, do you think that people are still ready to stay on lockdown? How can you be alive doing nothing and hunger is killing you? I know that some so called internet advisers will come out and say that people should look for other skills, but do they really know how long it takes for one to develop new skills and master it? Or they will say get a job online, must we all be working online or must everyone have the same job?

This is very funny. People have even stopped wearing masks, and they are now about their days activities not giving a damn whether there is Corona virus or not.
2438  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 20, 2020, 08:51:00 AM
forgive a newbie question please. I am new on the bitcoin scene and I am also pretty fresh in economics. I am learning, I suppose that is what I wanted to say. I was an ignorant for a way to long and now I trying to gain knowledge to be a little wiser. I got a bit lost because of the pandemic and I wonder is it good to invest in bitcoin and stock market nowadays or should I wait and see what is the market response going to be. I was pretty sure I got a hang of it but the situation changes so dynamically that it is hard for me to follow.
Everyone lost money like you when it all started so be patient. If you keep looking at those that will tell you that a bull run will happen tomorrow or next then you will be deceiving yourself because none of those people saying that can actually predict what it’s going to be.

Unless you’re a day trader you can actually be following some day and weekly analysis that depends on support and resistance to predict the next move, but there is no hundred percent assurance that it will go that way, so it’s all two ways. And if you’re going to be a HODL’er, then go ahead and have patience, you never know when it may be, but the more the demand is increasing as I am seeing it there will be more possibility of a bullish market being triggered.
2439  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀 1000 FREE SPINS 🎲🍀 NO DEPOSIT 🎲🍀 CASINO EXTREME 🎲🍀 INSTANT PAYOUTS 🍀 on: October 19, 2020, 09:33:14 AM
We encourage you to play slots in free mode before submitting it gives you an idea of how to pay at different bet levels how to trigger bonus games and maximum payout symbols the average player pays a slot return rtp of 95.6%. It's interesting to note that it doesn't carry well during the main goal it's interesting there seems to be a lot of benefit in terms of free spins and deposits.
When I read it as "we encourage" I thought you are part of the casino and advising users about gambling  Grin but then I noticed you used the word for yourself which is strange. By the way you can see the pay-table directly and get an idea of how much is the slots paying on which combination and free spins.

I was about to try the casino so I was just checking if there are any ongoing problems with the casino and if there are any red flags but everything seems to be cool and I will be trying it now. I don't like free spins because it comes with a truck load of wagering and almost not worth and not possible to do the heavy wagering so I might not claim the free spins or maybe I do.
2440  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: October 18, 2020, 09:00:56 PM
bustabit is one of the best implementation of any provable fair game I have seen in years. And is one of is the most copied in other platforms. RHavar made a great discovery with this game. I am personally playing this game recently and find it very addictive.  Smiley

I agree, one of the best provable fair games around. I normally dont play games, I just use the sportsbook on most casinos, but Bustabit has already taken a few bits from me but its just fun to play.
The best part is they made the game and got copied by a lot of casinos but still when I play at bustabit I never feel the same fun or have that feeling on any other casino no matter how many games they have. Sometimes having a single game brings you the identity and I believe that is what busabit has accomplished in so many years.

I am myself a sports player and I play dice and other games too but whenever I am bored and feel dull I just visit bustabit and play because it gives me some different kind of fun, I know there are so many games and slots on other casinos but something always brings me here and I don't get the same feel anywhere else, maybe that's addiction.
