Rubber slugs are only less-lethal, not non-lethal. At accidental/point blank range, a kid will likely die from the trauma.

Amazon Marketplace's fees will fuck you out of "profit".

I wonder if changetip will really be charging 1% withdrawal fee starting June 15.
2425  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Straw poll. U.S. president. Who would you vote for? on: May 14, 2015, 10:50:18 PM
Maybe. But I doubt that being hit by bird shot at short range is going to help an attacker very much either. Probably will get his attention to other things than attacking you.

Sane home invaders do not invade when people are home, because they do not want to be shot. If you're needing to shoot a home invader, they will likely be numb to pain from drugs/alcohol, or wearing body armor. If all you have is birdshot, you might as well blow a feather at them if you're not going to blast their face with the birdshot in rapid succession.

...by voting to ban the most common component required for function of the modern quintessential human right to self-defense tool, the semi-automatic firearm...

Yeah well, I guess a semi-automatic shotgun would be more than sufficient for most home defense purposes. Unless they expect to be attacked by a squad or two.

Except you...
can't just swing a shotgun in the general direction of your target without wasting ammo, you actually have to hit the perp(s)
might not be able to wield a shotgun due to a disability
might not be able to maneuver it well enough in your home
can't carry a shotgun every waking hour without suffering back/shoulder pain
might not get lucky enough to make it to your safe room, have enough time to unsafe it, and get behind cover
won't have more than 12+1 rounds in a shotgun (as far as I know)

I could go on...
2427  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OrcaVPN | DDoS Protected VPN | Fast | Simple | Cheap on: May 14, 2015, 06:24:26 PM
Nice website!
I like the design. Where are the VPN servers located and do we get multiple access points? I see that you accept bitcoin, but I only see a paypal button upon order.
How can we trust you, because you are not a registered company?

On buy.php there is a 'bitcoin accepted here' image, under that there are 3 links for length of service. On each of those pages you enter an email address. I'm not going to enter mine, but I presume a bitcoin invoice will be emailed to you, or be the next page after you submit your address.

I will assume you are talking to me since you didn't bother quoting. What I hope to accomplish is to make it evident to as many people as possible how little the rules mean around here to those in charge when they don't like the implications of enforcing them, while at the same time they scream at the top of their lungs how important the rules are to keeping the forum running well. What do you hope to accomplish by asking such a pointless question? (P.S., nice sock puppet)

You're trying to convince the guy who stole your wallet (and his friends) that he's a thief.

No, he's not. He's doing what he said he's doing in his second sentence that you quoted and ignored. Except it seems that his actual intended audience, "as many people as possible", gives zero fucks as well, or at least has no way to show giving a fuck.

You can lead horses to water but you can't make them drink.

2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should the government do to make women start using Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2015, 01:06:02 AM
The lack of women in Bitcoin isn’t just an issue of equality. It’s a fundamental weakness of the currency itself.

Correct. Satoshi added an extra line of code to repel feminoids. What a scamp.

Found it:
2431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: International shipping forwarder list on: May 13, 2015, 09:05:56 PM
Im searching a forwarder out of USA too at the moment. For occassional letters at the moment. I searched for normal forwarders but the one i found needs some notarized form, so i have to skip that since the cost make this senseless.

Sounds like https://about.usps.com/forms/ps1583.pdf - some membership services like AAA offer free notary as a benefit. Some credit unions do it for free for members too.

50 against 1 with slightly more than 50 rounds of ammo? Fuck's sake man, I would have poured a line of gasoline between me and the group, and flicked a BIC. YOU SHALL NOT PASS!

2438  Economy / Service Discussion / MASTER International shipping forwarder list on: May 12, 2015, 11:24:47 PM
Partly inspired by, and probably with major crossover from squall1066's escrow list & marcotheminer's escrow list - (and my need for a international shipping forwarder to point my own non-US customers to)...

Please reply to this topic only with your info in the format below so I can add it to this OP, and keep me informed of any big things happening via PM in case I miss a beat.

Origin country is where you live and will be receiving packages from sellers who live in your same country.
Destination country(ies) are where you are willing to reship to buyers.
Paperwork and legality may vary based on origin and destination country, so the shipping forwarder will need to be experienced enough to ass-cover.

2439  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CONTEST: How many Bitcoin Penny™ coins are in the jar? on: May 12, 2015, 09:21:24 PM
Your duplicate guess is invalid. Be original please.

Duplicate guesses are perfectly fine. There is no rule against it. And if the number is correct, both people will receive a prize. No worries. Smiley

Good luck, everyone!

Regards,
Christopher

The winner will receive a FREE 2-Pack of Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coins. Shipping included. (Generously paid for and donated by our friend, aacoins!)

Please have aacoins post here that no matter how many people duplicate their answers and/or tie for closest (with no exact match) he is willing to pay for potentially DOZENS of 2-packs.
2440  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which anime do you like? on: May 12, 2015, 08:56:54 PM
From the list I voted Cowboy Bebop.

But dude.. honestly, if you like feels and you like jazz music, I highly recomend this 12 episode series:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/kids-on-the-slope

Kids on the Slope is the best anime of all time. It has the music composer from Cowboy Bebop.

It was great, but was rushed, and needed more than 12 episodes.
