2421  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betfair like cryptobetting sites on: October 14, 2021, 08:06:09 AM
Back in the days Betfair was allowed in my country I used to do a lot of sportsbook bet trading but since it has been forbidden I haven't found any other real good alternatives. I was wondering if any of you guys know any Sports bet trading crypto site similar to Betfair?
Betfair is owned by Paddy Power. Also, Paddy Power owns some casinos in different countries, some of them you may don't even know. There are many brands under the ownership of Paddy Power and check them. Also, I want to include the link of mergers and acquisitions in the gambling industry and use this list to find paddy power owned casino. Here is the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mergers_and_acquisitions_in_online_gambling

On another hand, similar good casinos in crypto industry are:
1. Stake.com
2. Sportsbet.io
3. Bitcasino.io
4. Playbetr.com <-- is a new but they have partnered with PSG
This is a good list and to OP would you mind to share your country because those sites might also be restricted in your place since this is owned by the same company.

You can also try to Bet on Rollbit, there's a lot of options there and not an ordinary betting sites since they have exchange as well. This might work with you OP, have a try and read their terms of service to confirm if you can play.

You should read what OP is asking, these sportsbook are good but it's not what OP is asking, he is looking for a betting exchange and I have already seen the answer which was shared by ralle14.

Of these websites are working and I'm sure he knows because he is very active in gambling section particularly on the betting sites.

Here's the list of betting exchanges from Peeps' sportsbook thread. I haven't tried them all but I think Fairlay is the best out of them all and probably the closest to Betfair since they offer a wide range of sports. The only thing that sucks is their withdrawal fee ($25~) but it can still go down ($12~) if you earn enough vip points.

Exchanges
exbet.io (2019)
fairlay.com (2014)
degens.com (2017)
sportx.bet (2019)
2422  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ OddsBase.net - Historical bookmakers odds base on: October 14, 2021, 07:40:17 AM
This is very helpful for sports bettors who like to have a lot of references in a game he is betting. However, I think in my case, I would not pay for such information that I can access for free online. If I am following only one league, I would be able to accumulate all the necessary information and make a spreadsheet of it.
2423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Investment Advice? on: October 13, 2021, 11:41:05 PM
Bitcoin will be the price reference for all altcoins, currently the price of bitcoin is quite high, but is predicted to continue to increase along with the acceptance of bitcoin by various countries, but it must be reminded that if there is a decrease in the price of bitcoin you must have a strong mentality to keep holding bitcoin and waiting for the next price increase.
Investing in bitcoin with its present price at $57,283 is something of a high risk so you should know how to manage the risk. But you won't be buying the whole coin so maybe buy even a little portion of it and hold it until you see the price is already in its peak. And by that time, you'll definitely make profits. When it comes to altcoins, i think you miss investing in ethereum. Don't forget to add it in your portfolio since its also heading into its new ATH. But never expect that you will make quick profits from your investments because sometimes when you think you're almost there, then a sudden market crash happens so it will really test your patience on how you will handle the situation.
2424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just a piece of advice needed here folks on: October 13, 2021, 09:16:50 PM
That means you can not secure your profit can not finish your trade at the appropriate time. To be honest this is not a problem that is faced by only you. We all here are facing this. The main way of secure profit is believe yourself. If you always hesitate to take any decision you can not finish everything with good result. And don't be greedy to much.

Another thing is nobody can not finish the game with 100% accuracy. So always take it  very easy and trust/depend/believe yourself and your decision.

If you start trading without a trading plan, then you will really find it hard when is the best time to exit. You might always be in profits but if you are not able to sell them when the price is perfectly high, then i can say that you are not making real profits actually. Start setting your own target selling price so you won't have to deal with your greed. And when you see the price is already at its peak, sell a portion of your coins so you can generate profits too and maybe buy back some other cheap but potential coins.

However, if you think your strategy is already making a poor performance, then replace it with a new one. Develop a new strategy that will definitely work on you.
2425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: October 13, 2021, 08:24:03 AM
If crypto is legal and accepted then I think it will give us many options besides fiat, cannot completely replace fiat. It definitely won't happen. It happens when governments launch their own cryptocurrencies and control them.
Crypto may be co exist with fiat but it won't certainly exist as a currency without fiat. So fiat will always stay and crypto might forever be an alternative currency to fiat. Yes, the government might eventually launch their own crypto in the future but that will be a centralized one so that it will still be in control with them.

However, bitcoin has already been considered as a legal tender in El Salvador but it does not mean that fiat has been eliminated. So same with this, crypto after 5-10 years might be accepted by the government because of some people's demand, but we should not expect that it will be the only currency as it will only be a reserved for fiat so that the government can still satisfy the people's growing demand for bitcoin or crypto.
2426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 12, 2021, 11:33:07 PM
First off, comparing market capitalisations is generally a waste of time for the most part.  But more to the point, if something did somehow surpass Bitcoin's, that's not a weakness with Bitcoin.  That would be evidence of a weakness in the brains of the masses.  People do dumb shit all the time.  No one can prevent that.  I witness collective economic insanity on a daily basis, but I'll always try to limit the influence that has on how I live my life.  And Bitcoin is a part of how I achieve that.

There's no rational reason why any other coin should surpass Bitcoin at this stage, since none of them are close to matching Bitcoin's utility and robustness.  And in the unlikely event one did, that doesn't reduce Bitcoin's utility or robustness.
I think ethereum may have all the chances to replace bitcoin in the future but that doesn't affect bitcoin at all. I still stand for bitcoin because i know it certainly has a great future ahead which is an edge from those altcoins. And if ever ethereum will definitely take the lead, the whole crypto market will be a lot more different. Because in my long years staying here in the crypto market, i only see bitcoin as the main driving force and if bitcoin goes down, the whole crypto market will shake off and collapse. That's how bitcoin works.
2427  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 12, 2021, 08:30:10 AM
Currently, there are many usd-based stablecoins such as, usdt, busd, usdc and maybe many others.  To be honest, I used to think that crypto would completely eliminate the usd's dominance of the world economy but I was wrong, it turns out that usd is now evolving to crypto (stablecoins).  What do you think, whether in the future bitcoin or other crypto can replace the role of currency in each country and leave fiat currencies such as usd, euro, yuan and others.
Fiat wont be gone.Period.

We arent talking about which coin would be gone and which coin would remain yet basically these two things would simply exist on this market and would serve out different purpose.

Decentralized vs Centralized and at least people do have their own choice on which one they would tend to engage on.Role of fiat would exist and stay no matter what as long
government exist then they cant just let things like that to happen. It is impossible even into my own dreams so better cross out this possibility.
Exactly. As long as the government still backed fiat, then it will have no chances for crypto to dethrone it. IMO, instead of wishing fiat to be replace by crypto, why don't we'll just hope for them both. I think it will be of great advantage for crypto and fiat enthusiasts that they will no longer choose which one to use because they are free to use both. We always dream of bitcoin to be a good currency in the future, yes it will surely happen but hoping beyond that is already a fantasy. I mean let's be practical here. No matter how high the price of bitcoin or even how many countries will backed bitcoin, as long as it remains to be decentralized, then it will never be accepted by the government.
2428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: October 12, 2021, 07:43:47 AM
Over the last few days, I have faced many problems while transacting a few tokens. Even after I repeatedly deposited in a few wallets, at one point the transaction was going to stop. That is what is in Uniswap. I have deposited 20$ due to additional fee. But the fee needs to be above 50$. So has been interrupted to swap a few times. Currently I think the Ethereum platform is the most expensive. What do you think?
So far yes it is. We cant do anything about the gas fee, hence wait for the network to cool down and wait for the fee to recede. Right now a lot suffer with it due to heavy usage of eth network and fee that includes massive transactions of nft. For sure it will take a while before eth fixed this thing.
It's been so long already since this high gas fees becomes uncontrollable, although sometimes the price may reduced but most of the time, this high gas fees becomes very expensive. So if you find it hard because of the transaction fees, then maybe transact only when you have an extra amount enough to pay for the gas fees. But if its really needed, then you should pay what it costs. I know a lot of us have been suffering from this concern, hopefully its team will actually make an action so we can save even with just small funds.
2429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: October 11, 2021, 11:57:29 PM
Before getting into something in General, One MUST have the idea what he/she'll be into.
The basics are the MOST important thing to have. Especially when just starting, a lot of newbies tend to skip this as they feel that they don't need it. Being intelligent is not that important, but to be able to understand the nature of trading is enough to succeed. Knowledge, Data gathering, patience and many more are part of the Basics. That's how important to have the basics before entering the world of Trading.

A lot of newcomers don't last as they taught when they trade that's it, They see a low investment entry they'll grab even without proper data to support every decision. As I see it, it seems that only about 30% of the new comers are willing to start from the very beginning no shortcuts and everything.
This is the reason why traders now only exist for short term and after that, they are gone eventually in the market. Too different from those early traders wherein until now they are still active in trading because they learned trading through a step by step process and with experience follows their own strategies that have made them keep into trading until now.

In addition, having a positive mindset before getting into trading is also very important because that will motivate you to keep even better from those frequent losses you might experience as first timer.
2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 11, 2021, 09:38:43 PM
China had been trying very hard to shake off the markets since they had the power, but now institutions have taken over and they will prove that China's ban cannot affect btc the way it did before when China announced the same thing one by one with a gap of some years. They want to manipulate the markets which is not possible for them now.
The last banned had never created a deep crash in the market so obviously, it will no longer create negative effect on bitcoin in the future. Gone are the days where China has been the most powerful country that can shake off the market easily but now, it seems its no longer significant to bitcoin. There might be minor dumps that have been experienced but that was just for short term, and after that bitcoin and those potential altcoins continue to boost their prices that makes the whole crypto market almost bullish now. Even if China creates permanent banning of bitcoin and all crypto related transactions, i think it will not create anymore a big dump in the crypto market.
2431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bitcoin going to burst anytime soon on: October 11, 2021, 08:45:07 PM
Don't listen to the banker, they are no expert in the field of crypto.

This market has very high volatility, bitcoin could dump anytime due to correction but it's not a bubble that will not recover.
Just look at the price history of bitcoin, many times it looks almost dead already but it almost bounces back when people starting to lose hope.

Remember, only a bubble would burst, bitcoin is not a bubble.
2432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it last long or temporary? on: October 11, 2021, 07:16:39 AM
The downward trend in Bitcoin prices has continued since a few weeks ago until now where the bitcoin price is still at the level of $42k. Will Bitcoin's downward trend continue or will it return to the $50,000 to $60,000 price level next month?

The trend has changed now, bitcoin has experienced a recovery from the previous month, even for now bitcoin has been on a good trend until the end of the year, october is a recovery from bitcoin and other coins on the market, so the recovery conditions greatly impacted the development of bitcoin in recent months next month, my prediction for bitcoin by the end of the year will reach 1 billion by considering many things that have happened to bitcoin.
Trends could change in a snap, you would say that the trend is going downwards for today and then in tomorrows then you see another situation which might end up on being an increasing market thats why
these kind of observation or sentiments towards the market could really changed up in a snap.Just like on this one on where op did really believe that this could really be lasting so long but it did turn
out that the market comes bullish after september ends or simply when month of october did start up.We dont know on whats the reason behind but this market behavior is something
like in  default when it comes to this manner.

Yes, it is true that market conditions will continue to change, both with rising and falling conditions, that is how crypto conditions continue to change without being clearly predictable, this is not a personal sentiment, but this is an analysis that has been made based on past experience, this does not involve personality in judging something , and October is a warning for every coin that exists, can it go up or down and this will be an evaluation until the end of the year, let's wait for developments until the end of this year?
Well, i guess everyday is an evaluation for bitcoin since no one of us can really make a right prediction. But if we trace the history from the past years, the last quarter of the year is really a good time to look forward to since bull run is mostly witnessed in this time. The market may continue to change but there are high chances that it will be more on positive news and trends and that will definitely boost more the momentum of bitcoin so it can start working on its new ATH.
2433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana was down for several hours on: October 08, 2021, 09:09:54 PM
Solana is still in its infancy when compared to ethereum and the giant,  bitcoin. Struggling in the early stage in the cryptocurrency market is quite normal and should be expected  of new tokens. Price is back up and soaring.  Let's just hope it won't be needing any maintenance any time soon.

I think you are right and I agree with you, indeed solana is considered a new coin and is still growing to rise, even now solana coin is still in a period of correction and that's normal in the crypto world, and I'm also sure the price will increase again, so  from that it did not dampen my enthusiasm in holding this coin.
Well, once you see that Solana has has high potentials to even grow in the future, no matter how often it gets its price corrected, it will always bound to recover again. And we can really tell by its own community that is growing now. Ethereum may have the fame and reliability that it gets from its own investors, but it should not be totally confident because Solana is rising now and could even have the chance to outgrow ethereum knowing its high gas fees transaction until now is not yet resolved.
2434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 08, 2021, 07:18:50 PM

Lowry is gonna be a very good addition to the team Heat.  I think that he can make a very good duo with  Jimmy Butler. Lowry has scored 17 points a game last season with the Raptors and got about 5 and a half to rebound each game which is some decent stat. Considering Heat needed a better Point Guard and Lowry can fill in that role very good although he has aged, I'm curious to see how many seasons we will see him with the Heats.

Lowry can help Herro the same way Jimmy and Bam guide this kid, Miami has a decent roster now after acquiring Lowry.
He can manage the playmaking and let Bam and Jimmy to score. his numbers way back from Toronto are very decent he
don't have any problem playing whoever beside him.

I watch a video clip of him saying that he loves helping. He's not after with his own fame but always for the best of the team.
Regular season is more exciting to expect now. The east is also upgrading to make sure that it's not an easy journey for the
west after winning the conference finals.

PC Tucker is a defensive specialist, he can guard anyone on the floor and not only that, he also brings energy when it's needed.

I see the offense is not a problem with the Heat.

The following players could provide consistent offense if they are healthy.

1. Bam Adebayo
2. Jimmy Butler
3. Tyler Herro
4. Kyle Lowry
5. Duncan Robinson
6. Victor Oladipo

I think with the current roster of the Heat ,they can avenge their bad playoff series against the defending champion.

It must be a type, it should be PJ Tucker. Well, no doubt about him, he already had his first championship, so he will be more confident, this guy could defend Durant which is way taller than him, so there's no one he cannot defend. Victor Oladipo is a good addition to the team but I'm more concerned about his health, so hopefully this season he will be able to play the whole season and stay healthy, he is much needed in the playoffs.
2435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 08, 2021, 06:54:57 PM
Have you guys put your bet already in this fight?

It's on October 10 in my timezone and I find the odds for Wilder so attractive.
Fury - 1.31 and Wilder -3.40.
I'm done putting my bet, and I would not anymore trust Wilder to win this time as the momentum is on Fury. He already know that he has the skills and power to end the fight early and I'm looking forward for Fury to KO Wilder so Wilder will not anymore make excuses.

For bettors who believe in Fury to win, the odds are very interesting as bookies believe that Fury will likely win by KO than by decision.

Odds are. Fury by KO 1.94 and Fury by Decision 3.60.
Note: odds could change from time to time.
Whether it's a KO or by Decision, Fury would still win this, and if I'm wrong and the fight will end on judges scorecards, I still think that Fury's boxing skill will give him an edge and will be declared as the winner again.
2436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: October 08, 2021, 05:13:02 PM
Good rivals in boxing always come from Philippines and Mexican countries (in my opinion). In this fight, my opinion would be is Jonas Sultan will be the underdog here since Carlos Caraballo is a fighter who likes knockout wins while Sultan is more like a perseverance fighter who endures the whole 12 rounds and win by points. A huge odds are on Caraballo so expect a knockout here in this coming fight.
Well, there are so many dedicated to boxing sports here in the Philippines admiring Manny Pacquiao of what he achieve right now, people think that it is very easy for them. In this fight, it is obvious that Jonas Sultan will become an underdog and Caraballo will have huge odds but I don't think a Filipino boxer like Caraballo will let him win, some Filipino boxers are very clever when they are in a ring. So there is a chance that the underdog becomes a winner. Puerto Rico and the Philippine's fight will be interesting and we're almost there.
MP promotion vs Miguel Cotto promotion, I think this is really a great fight to watch, Puerto Rican fighters are fun to watch as they are aggressive in the ring, and seeing how Sultan had a win in his last fight, I think the undefeated fighter would be able to find his toughest match this time.
2437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero - December 5 on: October 08, 2021, 04:30:05 PM
I love to see Gervonta beat the hell out of this guy, Romero has no respect for Gervonta he just posted this video on Youtube mocking Gervonta and telling him that there is no way this small guy can go near me or touch me, this is very brazen words for a guy who doesn't have the experience or the power to speak of

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGlHWVcbtx0

He is trying to sell the fight mate, don't take it seriously, underdog now just try to win in the battle of words and remember that Romero has not faced a boxer like Tank Davis yet that is already proven a warrior with a high KO percentage. I doubt Romero would last 12 rounds like the previous opponents of Davis, it's either he gets knocked out in the early rounds, or he would KO Davis if he has a good strategy since he also has the power.
2438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Entering the trading market on: October 08, 2021, 09:45:20 AM
You can try to setup demo trading account and trade in real based system that takes all the market predictions and give you some basic experience that how the trade will go on.Then do all the market research and use amount you are willing to loose and then bear them, never be emotional and risk high amounts.Rest you will learn a lot with your journey in the market with experience.Learn a lot and make some strategies and have sound portfolio that will give your profits also.
Keep yourself knowledgeable and updated not just with the basics but definitely more on the strategies and techniques that will make your trading profitable. Its a good idea that you try first with a demo trading account so that you will be aware on the usual scenario in trading and eventually learn how to end up successfully. Although its quite different when you're in real trading, but experience will definitely teach you how to trade with minimal losses. And start trading even with a small amount since you are more prone to losses at first. Eventually, you will develop your own skills and strategies in trading from your various experiences that will help you develop as a good trader.
2439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is telling people you're into stocks "cool" but crypto is a big secret? on: October 07, 2021, 11:21:52 PM
You know, an interesting part of my life that I didn't reveal to anyone, excluding my best friend and my family members, that I am in the crypto industry. Only they and me know that. The reason is that in our country, crypto is banned. So I am working almost secretly. So if this news spreads and other people want to know about it, then it might be problematic. When someone asks me what I am doing, I say freelancing. If he wants to know more, I say I am not only doing freelancing but also doing stock investment. But I am waiting for that day when my country approves bitcoin and I will tell everyone that yes, I am a crypto lover. Waiting for that day.
In my country, crypto is not banned but i believe keeping it as a secret is not a bad idea because it will give you your own privacy at least. People are now starting to be aware that crypto is a big time investment. So when they think i am into crypto, the first thing that comes in their mind is huge profits. So as much as i can, i don't want to give them the possibility to hack my own account and steal my possessions. But i am definitely not secretive to my family and to my close friends. They know certainly that i am into crypto and i think if they can have sufficient amount to invest, they will also start to learn about crypto. Of course, they can lend on me about sharing my knowledge on crypto.
2440  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent inflation or "just temporary" on: October 07, 2021, 07:50:14 PM
I don't think we will be seeing these high numbers permanently. Times are hard right now. The pandemic is still here. Economies are still very much affected by its presence. In other words, things are still unstable right now. We haven't really gone back to normal. We are beginning to recover, though. Some countries are now in transition to what's called the new normal, but we can also see how other countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and so on are still very much in the middle of the intense COVID-19 war.

But I'm expecting that when the COVID-19 smoke finally dies down, inflation will be tempered down as well.

High inflation may not be taking long but the mere fact that we were still going to dealt with a varying inflation from time to time then I guess we were forever dealing with it. But today, the inflation in my thought was considered as worst though to be honest here in my country inflation keep on rising even before the pandemic but this time it's different. Hurdles and high employment rate makes the life much worse and as what I have observe here in my country I think were still far from the fact of under control of the contagious infection of virus.
I believe inflation will still be inevitable these days. It even gets along with this pandemic seeing the mere fact that we always keep on struggling for money so we end up having our own economic crisis. Not just that, instead of seeing the market to be considerate in the prices of our basic commodities  because of the current pandemic, the market's prices are even getting worst and this high inflation is more observed right now particularly in our basic goods and services. This must be a never ending inflation and it will only be controlled if the government will consider their citizens' welfare and not their own pockets.
