1601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 10, 2022, 01:12:15 PM
I think this will never happen worldwide , maybe there is a chance that there are many countries that will put this into Law but there will always other country that will stand supporting Bitcoin mining as they can see the potential from this than a threat .
But still we cannot predict this to happen until it comes close as the environment needs to be healed and if Mining will continue damaging this? then that is the moment that world will take this into actions.
But what I think this can be temporary only. I feel the Government will help to keep this Bitcoin mining continue to run, I really be expecting support and to find solutions in regards to environmental concerns like energy consumption. Some people just think straight that Bitcoin is a threat to the environment without seeing that there is a way to prevent it, which in fact, I don't think it was.

Well, it's up to them to decide. But what I think about this proposal couldn't get approval and possibly this will just end up discussing how to improve and lessen the environmental effect of crypto mining.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate predictions? on: June 09, 2022, 11:40:47 PM
Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate forecast of Bitcoin/crypto price?

I mean If you find someone who could make you rich by accurately predicting the price of crypto for you and others to benefit from, will you support such person either by sharing part of your profits from your successful trades with him/her, or in other ways... Will you agree if you are asked to support him/her?

Well, the question is "if there is someone who could really do it"? Because what I certainly know is that nobody has been consecutively doing the closest prediction ever. Remember that the market is known for its unpredicted trend. And if to say someone does, have we ever thought that he could go in public telling people his prediction is right and always right? He/she had rather keep themselves and become rich with that. And I also think that nobody would ever believe him/her.
1603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scam increasing on social media on: June 09, 2022, 11:06:39 PM
...
The headlin though! Sometimes I wonder what is there to blame on an on an app or a medium for being just that or working in that capacity. It's more like, blaming the bitcoin or cryptocurrencies for the fraud that is done using these medium.

Ignorance and greed remains why most users fall for the various schemes on the web with the social medias serving as just some link mechanism. I think some people are just immatured enough to use the social media and are just eager to be first adopters with hopes of gaining enough without even going through any stress. It's some idea that should be perished as, it could lead to some regretful ends.
It is certainly not the apps that have to be totally blamed, it was us who are too ignorant and don't understand how the scam works. However, with the existence of these social media, it happens that scams have been growing fast. In some other ways, they are also the reason for this and their participation and no action has been taken to regulate/stop any form of scam on their platform.

But yes, it was our end to think if this is a scam or not, it was our decision.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 09, 2022, 03:24:13 PM
The Warriors are really capable on doing that and they will do that again in the next upcoming games, they have just lose in Game 1 because they slacked in the last quarter that's why the Celtics managed to win. This time around, the Warriors will defend much better even though they are more of an offensive team, they will win even if that means no rest in the whole game.

I'm just curious for Klay Thompson though, he's having a hard time playing the last 2 games.
We'll see it tomorrow and we know that this time if Warriors will be the consistent one.

Nah, they lost at TD Garden. I'm seeing that they will have a hard time again next game and they will certainly have a hard time snatching some road games. The Celtics was good in terms of adjusting and I think they could really dominate every game if they will make some good use of their sizes just like what happened earlier because the Warriors are having some trouble inside especially Green. Thompson is back though but unfortunately the others aren't in their usual performance.

It was the physicality of the Celtics that was in full display again, they are attacking the paint and less settled in the 3 point line. Warriors using a small ball wasn't effective in the 4th quarter as Celtics were in control to take the lead and dominate them. Congrats to Boston for taking the lead but this series is not over yet.

Now, it's the Celtics who are in advantage because of a good win in game 3, however, I'm seeing a different series here, looks like there's a trend like the Miami Heat series, so I think Warriors will win game 4 to even the series. It's too far from over, yes, Warriors will eventually bounce back and Curry will have a great performance.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 09, 2022, 02:58:51 PM
As expected, the Celtics will dominate the game after they've been blown out the last game. It was really evident when almost all of them will start to play seriously and make use of their sizes to have an advantage. Williams III was having a blast blocking the shots from the Warriors, he even got 4 blocks while Jaylen Brown was having his best game in the Finals.

They made a huge bounce back, although the Warriors remained strong in the 3rd quarter and were able to make the game close the Celtics again took over the 4th quarter. I am concerned about Curry's ankle, he was hurt when he dived for the ball, hopefully, he is fine as the team needs him in game 4 to even the series.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has SEC contributed to the blockchain industry? on: June 08, 2022, 11:38:06 PM
snip~

Only thing that the SEC can do nowadays right here in the Philippines is to warn investors about the risks in investing into cryptocurrencies and publish advisory against scam companies that are mostly into pyramiding and ponzi schemes using Bitcoin and other cryptos as front like Forsage.
And what they did is right, unlike the other countries which is the one who introduce banning. However, this can't be enough to stop crypto from growing and to stop scamming in the same way. SEC has just been too vocal about scams, their campaign is very helpful to the community in spreading awareness but somehow, people have just been ignoring them. I guess they need to be more aggressive in dealing with this scam and Ponzi scheme issues otherwise, many people still become a victim of these evil activities.
1607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties and Airdrops on: June 08, 2022, 09:51:52 PM
2016-2017 was the prime time of bounties and airdrops, that was also the time of ICO projects. Quite to say they are more reliable that these new sets of projects like Metaverses and NFTs, plus DeFI and many others.

It was really to remember those days, it is totally different from what I have experienced this time from the bounties and airdrops as most of them are useless and added no value to the market. I'd found this as a big concern since many people had fallen into such broken promises.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 08, 2022, 11:59:10 AM
Thompson was not consistent so far in the Finals, however, he is still very dangerous, when he is hot, he can shoot with a good 3 point percentage so I would still continue trusting him. Remember in the last few series, he have some big games, game 5 vs Dallas and game 6 vs Memphis. He was the closer.
If Thompson is playing bad there is Pool to cover the deficiency or to lessen the burden, I dont know why people are still thinking about Klay when Pool has also a good impact on the team.
Exactly, looks like Poole is still underrated until now.

Warriors do not only have splash brothers, they also have Poole party. LOL.
These 3 are the consistent provider of offense for the Warriors, while Wiggins also have contributed some big games as well.

Remember also that GPII is back.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 08, 2022, 11:33:27 AM
If only Casimero was not stripped of his belt, he could be a great match with Inoue.
yeah, sadly no one can really blame anyone other than him and his team for that incident. If Casimero really wants to fight Inoue I am sure he can get enough fights and wins to be considered as a challenger for Inoue. Casimero has a lot of potential to become one of the best, I just hope he won't waste it and get too discouraged by what happened to his supposed fight with Butler.

Inoue cannot get anything with Casimero right now and its like high risk low reward if he push to fight with him that's why I think this fight between them will never happen, Casimero lost his WBO which is the only ticket to have match with Inoue. The hot target with Inoue right now is Paul butler and if he win he became the undisputed champion. But let see what will happen next if Inoue would fight Butler or he will climb higher.

I don't see the fight between Inoue and Casimero happening unless the camp of Inoue agreed to it, Inoue is the champion right now so he can choose who he wants to fight, all Casimero can do now is to annoy Inoue and dare him to fight him, he could have a good chance to fight Inoue if he only did not lose his chance to fight Butler and beat him, Donaire can only hope that Inoe will give him a chance to fight him.

Inoue will not waste his time fighting Casimero, there's a champion that he can fight and that is Butler, and if he beats Butler, he can be the undisputed champion and maybe he will go up in weight after that, and he will challenge the championsi in the heavier division.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and actions to raise it on: June 07, 2022, 10:04:29 PM
No, we can't stop the price cycle of Bitcoin, we can't make everything under the control of our hands, unless if you have all the Bitcoin perhaps it was a sort of manipulation. But I don't think we need to keep the Bitcoin price always high, we also have to put consideration that having this bear season gives us the chance to invest, and once the market went high again, our chance to sell.

It will rise and dump on its way, we'd rather let this thing happen coz we are greatly benefiting from these situations.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 12:34:19 PM
I didn't expect for the fight to end too early, Inoue was just too good, his power is way more powerful than Donaire and Donaire can't fight him toe to toe. I think this is the time that Donaire will have to think of retiring from boxing, he is already a successful boxer, and his country is so proud of him.

Can we still see Inoue vs Casimero?
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 12:04:31 PM
It's good to see it for free, by the guys, do you know a VPN that we can use for free?
I like to watch it in youtube as I believe it's faster than other streaming sites, my only problem is I don't have a VPN.

I'm using the streaming site now, still the fight has not started yet.

1613  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 06, 2022, 11:17:44 PM
June hasn't actually started any badly, has it, thus i expect us to finish as strongly as the month has started, lol, not too high though, but something within the range of 35k, or maybe even higher, who knows. But i just have this hunch that we wouldn't be going too down this month, or maybe even for the rest of the year. Bitcoin is still at a good price to accumulate more Cool, not that there is ever a bad time to purchase some Bitcoins anyway.

27k-28k looks to me like the "lowest of the lows" we can get this year, that is what i think.
Im not expecting that much on which i do even see that the price is still moving just on the same behavior when it was still on May.We arent making such significant movements in towards it price thats why im not really making

myself that hopeful for some bullish run for this month so that you wont really get yourself to be that frustrated and there's no way that someone could predict on what would be happening in June but there's
always a possibility or probability that we might be seeing some significant movement or rise yet we've been moving sideways for a while now.
We can't be hopeless, yes. We are still in the 2nd week of June, probably there be a lot of changes my come (significant changes) but I won't say it is huge. But for now, it was not too clear to see such thing, we've never heard interacting news that would catch attention for the people to make more buys and create some hypes.

My assessment is that - June can be not far from the previous month's trend. The price may jump high but drops can be also inevitable.
1614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FX-Chain scam on: June 06, 2022, 10:41:28 PM
Hi I am new to this and have invested in FX-chain and a month later I am trying to withdraw money and there is a issue paying into my TAP account.
FX are asking for money up front for chargers to release the money and then asking me to send them more money to release a blocked amount coming into my wallet?
Has anyone else been scammed by FX-Chain?
The scammed trick has played around and you always be careful in dealing with new projects as most of them turn into scams.
Though I'm not saying you are a lazy person but because you neglect to do the research about this project, you just brought yourself to such a scam thing. Perhaps, a typical kind of scam is easy to detect and but you still dare to try it, and that's it. You can't take back your money from them and I don't find it is necessary for you to make contact with them, sound hopeless anymore. You dare to move on and make this a lesson for the future investment.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 06, 2022, 01:09:46 PM
So far both teams are preventing any major injuries though they are really pushing things to the limits but the coaches are good in rotating every stars and the rest of their rosters to make sure that they can avoid injuries or too much exhausted players. the series are tied now 1-1 as GSW win the 2nd game not allowing things to happen again the same outcome last game 1.

They manage to keep the distance away in the last minutes of the 3rd quarter and continue that big lead till the rest of the regular time period of the game..
The Warriors did it smoothly on the 3rd quarter.

I thought that it will be ending with a close scoring but it wasn't. Game 3 and we're moving forward, I just can't imagine that we're almost half to this series and 2 games have ended already.

It is game 3 and game 4 likely the game changing and momentum setter that shall give that moment for games 5 and 6 if ever it will be reaching there and game 7.

you can really rely on the Warriors in the 3rd quarter, they can win by a huge margin in the 3rd quarter, so betting on them is very profitable. Just like the game 1, Warriors also dominated the 3rd quarter but unfortunately, they lost their focus in the 4th quarter, and that's where the Celtics take advantage.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: June 06, 2022, 12:48:41 PM

As much as we don't appreciate or at least doesn't like the way Haney fights, he took out Kambosos and becomes the undisputed. And now it seems that we look forward for a rematch. Again, could be a sleeper fight again but boxing fans are going to pay for this match again specially that it will still be held in Kambosos backyard.

The rematch is not exciting anymore, what's on the rematch that will make boxing fans to be excited again, and what will make them pay for the rematch, Kambosos just become all talk but he didn't show anything, he is totally outclassed I like both fighters to meet other fighters, and maybe in the future, they will meet again but an immediate rematch will not excite the boxing fans, the coming match between Inoue and Donaire can even eclipse and forget the fight.

They won't generate good revenue in this rematch because people already see who will win the fight. If only Kambasos gave a good fight, then maybe the rematch will be interesting, I think they should look for another match up, and as for Haney, I think there's lots of champions waiting for him.
1617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: June 03, 2022, 01:04:00 PM
In general, it is quite useful for a trader if there is a mentor. But you need to understand that not all mentors are experienced, and most importantly, you also need to rely on your own knowledge, and not just on strangers.
And in the first place, we don't need someone who is not knowledgeable enough to teach us as this makes no sense at all. if we ask for a mentor and want to gain more ideas, we are supposed to look for an expert in that field, not the one who is also just like us (beginners).

Exactly, not all who got a mentor succeeded after, some had also failed because of decision making. This is an individual response to the market and this couldn't be taught.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can some AltCoins pump during bear markets ? on: June 03, 2022, 12:20:26 PM
For those who lived during the past bear market ( 2018 /2019 ):

Can AltCoins go against the larger trend and actually pump nicely during a bear market ? I know there was a bit of a pump in 2019, so I don't know.. but right now I'm seeing Gods Unchained, Ox and a few other coins pump even if Bitcoin's Market dominance is still well over 42 %. Lets not also forget the market is still in a downtrend headed for lower lows at the moment. So would there be any point in trying to FOMO into altcoins pumping ?
I personally exited the market almost entirely, plan to re enter when Bitcoin hits 15K or even lower. Then again I've noticed some alts coming desperately close to the negative 98% mark... you have to wonder how much lower can they go
Practically speaking, I wasn't really convinced that altcoins will do the rally during the bear season but instead, they go along with the trend, and only we can see pumps when Bitcoin does first. We are witnessing this trend before and in the previous bear season, in fact, even in small corrections the altcoins have been affected too easily.

And those coins that you have mentioned OP, it is quite weird to see. They don't have such credibility to rise, that pumps are a sort of price manipulation in some exchanges, and consider a bull trap in general.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 03, 2022, 11:59:49 AM
As a pro boxer he's old enough to think more fight if Inoue will defeat him again for second time and maybe its time for him to retire because its still good to leave the scene with good record rather than he will keep losing by young guys which still on their prime.
I agree with that, though his mind is willing but his body would not be able to endure against a heavy hitter and a faster boxer.
I won't judge him now, but as soon as he lose the fight, I like him to announce his retirement.

Donaire will be 40 years old this year. It's already old for a boxer.

For sure Donaire considering all of this but for now lets not talk about his last fight because their upcoming fight is the one been hyped up by his fans around the world.
I think it's better for him to fight in exhibition fights as he can still make money with that, but it's less risky.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 03, 2022, 11:42:26 AM
You timed this perfectly. Just as you wrote this the market started to recover. I hope you guys bought in. I bought ICP and XRP. I wish I had more funds to buy some HBAR. What did you guys buy?
If you look at the stingy market you can see how the market is moving here and then the situation is not due to the growth of the property because it has destabilized the market but you can analyze the reasons but not to restore the current state of the market.
There are some that we'll have to wait a few months for to recover. Hopefully in a few months everything will be fine.

We are now in the month that we are talking, well, it's in the first week yet so there's plenty of time for us to see if this month is going to be different compared to the last month. Bitcoin is still below $30k, not good because it looks bearish, but good for those who are looking for an opportunity to buy the dip.

Just HODL and don't panic, that's the simplest recipe for success.
