1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the possibility Bitcoin will rise before the end of the year ? on: July 20, 2022, 11:13:19 PM
Last year I predicted Bitcoin will rise above the value at the start of the year and I was totally right about it, in April Bitcoin eventually reached a new all-time high price of $64k. Bitcoin added about 72% of its value as it  increased drastically before it eventually started falling back in May till September. I don’t really know how this year is going to turn out now because of the present dip. But I just hope it increases, that’s why I’ve been advising so many people  to hold their Bitcoins and even buy more now cause it will surely rise again.
Most of the predictions ended wrong and you are lucky that you have predicted it right before but not sure this time as for sure the market won't rise this year. Maybe, if you are predicting it low, that might be possible but if you think about it rallying back, it won't. Remember that we have a long bear run in previous bear market and that be the same this time so we don't expect this will end this year but might be extended next few years.
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2022, 12:24:48 PM
.... I can't believe the Suns earlier planned to let go of Ayton.
It's all part of negotiations in business. I read that Ayton was eligible for a $179 million contract and it's safe to say his agent pushed for that figure. The Suns were patient enough and explored other options until the $133 Million offer from Pacers. Ayton and his agent probably realized they couldn't squeeze more so they just settled with that amount. Suns management played their card well and got him at a cheaper price.

Yeah, but still it doesn't make sense. I mean we could clearly see that it has affected Ayton's performance last year to the point that he has to be bench in the decisive game 7. And just one year ago, you can see that he really made it almost to the top if not for his inexperience playing against the athletic and freak Giannis. So $133 m is a lot of money and he has to thank the Pacers for that offer, because now the Suns know that Ayton is worth keeping for and hopefully his relationship is not tainted with the managements and the coaching staff.
As long as he stays with the team, he needs to fix that relationship if there's already a problem. He has to be professional and give the expectation of the management, he is still young, there's still a bright future ahead of him, so who knows maybe he get max when he renew.
Time to prove that he  worth that contract, for sure the demand coming from the fans force the management to keep him.

I mean the negotiations regarding to trades are all over the internet and most around social media channels, fans are the big

influencer as sales of merchandize and the ticket  will be affected if the management will not listen to them, and yes it's a business

Ayton and his camp just take the advantage of the situation to maximize his value.

Even before this big contract, Ayton had already proven his worth to the team, so I guess there's nothing to prove more, he just have to continue playing hard and must be healthy so he could help his team all the time.

1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: July 19, 2022, 11:37:07 PM
Since 2018 I have not heard of any project with a good promotion by holding a Bounty. Until now, on average, most projects are not very well-known, and are not worth the results obtained. Because many new projects fail and many do not have a price for the rewards given as gifts from bounty. Although it is not all, but I think there are many bad things at the moment. Maybe bounty is similar to gambling, because we don't know their future. Analysis is sometimes also wrong.  IMO
2016-2017 was the greatest time of bounties - many people and hunters got rich during that time but after that, the rest of the coming bounties seem worthless and scams. That I think the next generation of bounties could be worse.
Thus, if we are into participating in them or having a plan, we better not continue as it was only a slim chance to find good bounties and pays decent rewards to the participants.
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Asia Cup 2022 (Japan vs Philippines) on: July 19, 2022, 12:07:18 PM
I'm rooting on the Philippines to win, I know they are not as good as they are before but Japan is a team where the Philippines can compete with, so I hope they have that eagerness to win and believe that they can upset the heavy favorite team.

I'll put a bit of moneyline bet and betting a decent amount on the spread.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 19, 2022, 11:33:18 AM
So Teo Lopez is back, after the humiliating lost against George Kambosos, he is making his comeback, but this time he has move up in weight. He will be fighting a dangerous and experience boxer in Campa next month.
Teofimo lost that fight because he was fighting like crazy, but the Teofimo who fought with Loma and previous rivals, would have clearly beaten Kambosos. Another reason was his health challenge. According to reports, he had air around his heart that made it difficult for him to breathe properly. The doctors confirmed it. López will make history again in the 140. Canpa doesn't even stand a chance.

Good thing we will see him soon taking another challenge to prove himself once again because when boxers suffer some serious injuries, they sideline and they will not be the same as they were before especially when it comes to dominating their opponents. Let's just hope he really will dominate Campa in the early rounds until he knocks him out because taking the fight to the last round will be risky for him since he is just getting back to fight after he hid first lost.

It's nice if he will win via KO so promoters will be interested in getting him a big fight. Just like what Ryan Garcia did, he knockout his opponent so I'm pretty sure that promoters now are happy on giving him the fight he was asking, and that is against Davis.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fee of trading platform on: July 18, 2022, 11:31:18 PM
I suggest for you OP not just consider on the fees but rather think about the service of the platform and the so-called legitimacy of the exchange. Don't get fooled by those who offers you instant and small fees compared to known and reputable exchange as might cause you to regret after. I understand that fees are very important as we are finding a way to save some cost but if I were you, I don't make use of that instead, I'll go using the platform that could give me a satisfying trade results and guarantee safe transactions.
1508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many people become binance futures full time traders as job on: July 18, 2022, 10:54:23 PM
To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with that. At its core, trading is a completely possible job. More importantly - learn how to work correctly.

Yes is kind of easy and convenient way of making money, but as a newbie that just started trading future and you where luck you have been making profits probably due to bull run and you are planning to make it a full time job, I believe that's completely wrong, most people have not traded futures before during the bear market and they don't know they can easily get liquidated because of high volatility, future trading is completely different from sport trading which you can just hold your coin when their is a bear market, in future trading you can easily get liquidated whenever their is bear market. So as a newbie I will advise everyone to get a Job and don't depend on future trading as a full time job.
The idea of getting into trading is very easy but the question is how they manage their trades as even to say that some people make a huge profit in trading, however, it doesn't mean that all traders will have that experience as well, that is impossible. Even if we do copy trading, following a great trader but we can't expect of having the same results, why? As we don't have the same market response and decision.

I can agree that many people get involved in trading but not to say that they all gonna stay, some or many of them went off because of their bad experiences.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 18, 2022, 11:41:51 AM
Does it look like Spence is still not confident to face his fears? So he is continuing to buy some time to make Crawford older and more inactive. Years of ducking and avoiding the boogeyman.
Crawford is maybe older but he is too far from 40 years old. I think that the delaying tactic is not effective as Crawford will not wait forever for a fighter that is not interested in fighting him, he will certainly schedule a fight with a challenger so he will be active.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 18, 2022, 10:58:06 AM
Matthew Wright is just leaving for his wedding.

He will be back next conference. Smiley
Well, I was wrong there, and thanks to that if that's for real. Is he still going to play for Phoenix or with another team? I guess when there are news and issues like this, we already have that automatic thought that they're leaving for B League. It's always the idea that we're thinking since many of the PBA players are already there.
It's still uncertain as Player and his camp can change the direction of their careers, who knows B-League offers is far better than any team from PBA can provide and the perks aside from the contract is really something that a player can't resist, all will be concluded once news about Wright's career has been announced,.

For now, it's still an open negotiation between his current team and the rest who are also interested in his service.
It's always been a better offer if B League tries to negotiate with some players. There's even a lower league there that offers better compensation than the PBA.
Well, it's either B League or that league that still pays better than the typical contract that PBA players are getting. But despite that, PBA seems not alarmed until now and the talks about the merging of it and some other leagues, let's see how it's going to affect them.

Even if they get alarmed, there's nothing they can do because Japan has a high rate compared to the Philippines, even their minimum wage, there's a huge difference compared to the Philippines. It's just up to the players if they will take the offer or not, I heard before that Terrence Romeo has a huge offer but he choose to stay with SMB.
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 15, 2022, 01:37:47 PM
Bitcoin has the largest market cap and is the most adopted crypto. There are many other weak cryptos that might end but not Bitcoin.

It is not only about the market cap, but about the brand bitcoin. If people talk in TV about crypto they will for sure mention bitcoin but only in some cases mention another currency. For a lot of people crypto = bitcoin and this will stay like this probably forever. The only time people speak about other coins is when there is a shitcoin having a huge pump, but that is mostly forgotten after a few weeks.
Bitcoin is exemptional, can't be compared with these shitcoins. It has been widely talked and it grow fast because of its market potential. The market cap and the influence of these whales making Bitcoin become known globally were rich people, huge investors, and as well as poor people got involved. And to think about the end of Bitcoin is too far away unlike these worthless altcoins.

It may lose its value but that doesn't mean it was a sign of its end.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 15, 2022, 12:37:47 PM
Ive seen some sites do give out some free drops of NFT's which i dont see for it to be bad for someone to engage on as long you arent pouring too much money on it
then i do see the risk is way too less for someone to get a hold of.
if there is no money involved and it was just pure airdrops, there is no problem with that. But if we are urged to do a deposit before getting this, I don't think it was worth it. Well, I just hope

The idea of having these giveaways/free drops is to encourage people to invest. $10 is big enough for those who are jobless and certainly take this offer. But for us who are not new to this thing, we simply ignore it.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 15, 2022, 11:45:22 AM
^^ We will find it out, I mean this division is also laded with a lot of talents so it will be hard for Lopez to dominate this 140 lbs. There is also Catterall who almost beat Josh Taylor in their first fight. And if I'm not mistaken will have a rematch.

So Lopez better be bringing his A-game against Campa so that he can gauge himself if he faces the top 1-5 in this division.

I agree with that, it's the first time Lopez to be in this heavier division, so let's see if he still has the power to beat the best fighters in this division. his last fight with Kambasos was very disappointing, he can't win but Haney just schooled Kambasos in a fight.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 14, 2022, 10:45:41 PM
NFT have gained huge attention during their hype and bull market but in this bearish time, it seems we seeing them down as the entire market has been down as well. And even from that, I'd never see these NFT projects would last for a long time - projects built in hypes couldn't make it, that is really impossible.

Thus, if you are investing them OP, you've to be prepared about losing your money then, or much better not to choose them.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 14, 2022, 11:49:38 AM
2 days more before we can see this much awaited fight and to see if Ryan Garcia has already escaped the issues in his life and that he is now back on track unlike his last fight against Tagoe where he himself admitted that his performance wasn't that impressive.

I'm looking forward that this kid, Garcia, can man up his words as he's already calling for Tank Davis next despite having an upcoming fight against Fortuna.

Yeah, saw one of his interview and again, he wants a fight with Tank Davis after that. Might be bad though because it seems that he is overlooking Fortuna, maybe he is underestimating the guy and didn't respect him? We will see if Garcia will win, or it will back fire because he seems to can't get Davis on his mouth every time he has a chance to talk to the public about his match with Fortuna.

would be a blow if garcia will lose from fortuna. he should have waited what the results of his upcoming fight before he calls another boxer to fight with. anyway, that's his challenge couple of days and we will see what he's got. if he's calling Tank Davis, i guess, i will go for Davis here. but let's see...

Obviously, everything will be put on hold if Fortuna will beat Garcia in their fight. But will Ryan allow this one to happen to him or he is just super confident to win against Javier and he thinks that this is just a normal fight for him and his hands are going to be raised.

Fight is very closed though, this weekend already. But I will rather not to put a bet on this fight. Would be better if I would just watch it and maybe see if Ryan has gotten over his mental issues and then called out Davis again after he win.

That would not happen, they will not cherry picked a fighter that will only beat them. This is not a big fight for Ryan Garcia, it's just more like he is trying to prove to his promoter that he is ready for a big fight, and the only way is winning this fight in an impressive manner.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 11:27:28 AM
^^ For sure, the commissioner is not going to be happy with that. Yes players have freedom, but in this case, and if I'm not mistaken, this is a super max contract being given to KD and then after a few years and he still has like 2 years in his contract, he suddenly request a trade? It is close to being disrespectful to Brooklyn, after emptying their pockets not just for him but for Irving as well, he will suddenly ditch the Nets because it's not going his way? Yeah, for sure new rules are going to be set in by the NBA to address this kind of scenario.

That's a pure disrespect, Durant already had a big salary and yet he still want to leave the team, there must be a problem within the organization, but I think it's not fair to request for a trade when the management has not met their expectation yet from Durant.
1517  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ITS SO POSITIVE THIS BEARMARKET. on: July 13, 2022, 11:44:53 PM
Bearmarket is a good thing in my opinion, of course we can buy at a cheap price, from several bearmarkets that have happened I have bought more than 4 times when the bitcoin price was below $20k then about 3 to 5 days I held and profit was more than 12% , profit opportunities always occur if we invest in a bear market as is happening today.
Just think in the opposite way, 12% loss within the same set of days after buying means. We don't know how far the changes will happen. Amidst all this facts, people are positive on bitcoin for different reasons. Right now the traders find way to make good profit out of the fluctuation.
First of all people have started to explore and understand well about cryptocurrency market than going for an investment.

When a person understand the risks and invest, it is different from investing on someone's suggetion. Hoping for the better market believing in technology. These minds weren't there in the past, because of huge manipulation from the whales.
As people will understand the nature of the market will surely keep positive despite the dumps and losses they have experienced. Losing is not a new thing in crypto and that is why this place is only for the risk takers who are willing to lose their money and hold for a profit. Those who come late last year will think this is not a good investment but those who have been here for many years could understand that ups and downs are normal and adapting to the market under any condition is vital in order to survive.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Luna Classic - Thoughts? on: July 13, 2022, 11:06:12 PM
Hi all,

I have invested £150 into Luna Classic since their crash which is a gamble I know but is a gamble I am happy taking.

Would be interesting to hear what everyone's thoughts are on this.

Do we think it is over or is there a possibility of recovery?

Some people are saying £1 is possible but I have 3 million so even reaching a penny would be great for me.
You are likely into gambling and your chance is very slim to win - you can never expect from them anymore. But if just a small amount for you, well, it doesn't matter.

The only problem now is that many people are still hopeful with this project knowing the fact that it is already been closing down. Luna has been almost out in the market and sooner or later it will finally dissolve because of the lack of market support.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 11:36:52 AM
Irving and Durant both are leaving the team surely as it seems. They have both wanted their trades as soon as possible. Actually Irving was closer to be traded but the team made a decision and decided to give priority to Durant's trade. I have heard that Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are the teams Durant want to go now.
Durant going to the Heat would give the Heat a big boost even if they will trade Butler for him.
IMO, I believe that Durant is more clutch and more team player than Butler, so I'm okay with that trade if that will happen.

As for Irving he has been likely to be traded with Westbrook. This deal would be great for Lakers but not much for Nets unfortunately.
We never know what would happen to the Nets, but Irving going to the Lakers, I'm optimistic that Lakers will reach the playoffs.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 13, 2022, 11:19:10 AM
It's business but lower teams are not pursuing having a good and competitive team because even if they do, they can't match SMC and MVPs offered contracts and players will choose to play for top teams instead as benefits are awesome.

Speaking of Ray Parks, who do you think is better, Ray Parks or Mikey Williams?

The past and the current, and TNT now has won a championship with Mikey Williams but never won with Ray Parks.
But for individual comparison, who do you think is better?
