2441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits 20,000$ again, what is the reason? on: January 14, 2023, 01:41:37 PM
Let me tell you something, do not believe that anything cause this present bull run other than it is just time for bull run to occur.

Maybe you are right, at the right time bitcoin will go up for no reason, we have been in a sideways and bearish situation for a long time, so bitcoin recovery should also be considered normal. Because no market goes up forever and no market goes down forever. The fact that bitcoin is still a market that is manipulated by sharks, they can pump bitcoin whenever they feel like it, so we shouldn't be too surprised. Bitcoin is on strong bullish momentum, breaking all predictions, and all previous technical analyses, bitcoin is really unpredictable.
The market price increase was so sudden and seeing it is already something to be happy for. Question is; how high would it be? The CPI really made an impact on the market price of Bitcoin as well as with the stock market (not still being felt I guess). Actually, I've anticipated such thing but for the last quarter of this year and I still think that the increase won't be consistent. It could be continuous if such report will be followed by another positive news about this industry which we should hope for. So that's indeed true. To those who are planning to ride with the wave, expect that profit won't be earned easily. If there will again be a sudden fall, be ready.
2442  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 14, 2023, 01:05:59 PM
Indeed the increase at the present with the market value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are promising, especially from being down for quite some time. At first I thought that crossing $20k ceiling would be the start but not to be a pessimist; seeing the rally to be continuous is still hard. There's nothing supporting the increase we are currently seeing which makes the buying pressure not as strong with what we have saw before. Thus, riding the wave is somewhat scary to do. On my end, I will be waiting for a more visible trend line because I might end up being crushed in the middle if ever there will be a sudden downfall with the market given how unexpected the increase was.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 13, 2023, 11:47:58 PM
The market right now stabilizes at the certain price point and it is hard to tell when will recovery really begin. All I know is that if it crosses $20k market price for Bitcoin, then there is a chance for a higher market value but won't guarantee a continuous increase given that factors are still lacking. In every bullish trend ,there is a reason and we are still waiting for that one. Right now, that reason I guess would happen in 2024 because of the anticipated Bitcoin halving. And for this year, there's nothing yet. But If I'm not mistaken, there is an anticipated increase with stock market on the third quarter of this year which MAY have an impact to this industry thru indirect influence, so maybe it could be one of the possibilities.
2444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the perfect indicator for long term investors on: January 13, 2023, 11:25:24 PM
My experience with indicators has not been a pleasant one because these usually lag & are several steps back as compared to using naked charts to read the price action.
And looking at the line chart of the glassnode in the OP  this seems like a trending market and a bullish one for that fact...so do I need to read this inversely to get the true picture of the market Roll Eyes
Well that is a weakness that all indicators have since they analyze what has happened already, and since most of them are some sort of average in which many past periods are taken into account then this tendency gets even worse as they do not really tell you what is happening at the moment and it is up to the trader to try to determine what could happen next based on their experience and their skill, still I find them useful as they can help you see more clearly a certain aspect of the market and take a more informed decision that way.
'coz long term investors usually disregard seasonal increase nd decrease with the market price. They only view things on a yearly basis. To some it is advantageous wherein they'd be free from stress of minding every downflal on market value but there are also times they're at a disadvantage for not being able to make profit from sudden spikes on the market price. So maybe, it is just a matter of preference. Short term investors would make more (if they know when to buy and sell) in a shorter period of time but they'd be exposed on more risk because they are 'moving' a lot. If we would base on any BTC price chart on a long term perspective, it would seem that its price is continuously and consistently increasing but on a closer look, it is not.
2445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a trend over other cryptocurrency. on: January 13, 2023, 10:45:59 PM
As others have mentioned, Bitcoin is just known to be the first cryptocurrency and also for having the largest community and value over other cryptocurrencies. But I doubt that investors of it are having a better 'situation' over other tokens' investor. Things are the same because once a 'trend' is present, market prices moves as one. The only difference is the rate of increase ofcourse wherein other tokens have higher rate of increase but also higher volatility.
Bitcoin generally when it trends or whenever goes up its lift all other cryptos alongside him. So a good bitcoin projection means a good crypto market.
Not all the time. Sometimes trend comes from other currencies such as when ethereum way back 2020 had an increase and Bitcoin just followed but indeed BTC is a factor which makes the increase continuous. It is a matter of influence; its community size prolongs a trend either bullish or bearish.
2446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 13, 2023, 03:55:19 PM
In any form of investment, you should separate your emotions from your action especially with this blockchain wherein the market price is changing from time to time. If you'd be eaten by your emotions whenever the market price moves, you'd end up with huge loss. This market is unpredictable in the first place so expect that things won't be easy. There will be times you will need to set aside frustrations perhaps, to avoid making your losses bigger. There will be times you need to calm down and be patient. Also, times you have to accept that things won't always come in accordance to your own liking. That's just how this market works. Those who will be eaten by emotions will push their way to earn profit. Since things are not certain, attempts of creating profit might become a way to lose more.
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Anonymity on: January 13, 2023, 02:48:14 PM
Yeah just like everyone were saying Bitcoin transactions are can be tracked in the blockchain, as it serves like a huge ledger that records each and every transactions, but your identity remains kept, it was only your Btc address are visible, but not until you use a centralised exchange that requires KYC.
If your transaction ends up to that specific CEX Btc address, then that's the time you'll going to be identified and that your anonymity are completely lost.

Anonymity does not work that way. An address would be surely found in the blockchain but knowing who's behind that address would be a different thing in which for me shows the true anonymity in this industry unlike with centralised payments wherein online wallets are registered. If you're a daily consumer, you won't that much be able to appreciate this aspect of this technology. But if you are a big consumer, importing and wxporting gooda, then you'd be able to escape huge taxes to the government. It is more of an smuggled transaction if I would be asked. You're still safe even if people would determine or emphasize a certain one, but they won't easily be able to know the owner of the address.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: January 13, 2023, 02:14:19 PM
Tho projects who are not paying are simply wanting free promotion from the participants in order to attract investors and eventually abandoning the project once they've earned from it. Such thing is not new from faucet days up until the present. This is the downside of 'investmwnt free' projects wherein players will be given an opportunity to earn tokens from projects without requiring them to put money into it. Likewise with some signature campaigns. Frauds are just surfacing this industry because those who are fraudalent takes advantage of the anonymity being offered by this technology.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning on hosting a BTC seminar and a friend also followed my path on: January 13, 2023, 01:46:33 PM
Applause to those who does but I don't see this as a requirement. At this point, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are still not on 'safe' state wherein new investors could fall at risks involved in this industry. Ofcourse seminars would help them to avoid unfortunate actions towarda this industry but risk will still be there regarding market price volatility. Given that not all people would be able to cope up with the downsides of this industry, I think inviting more people into this, is not yet advisable. Make them more knowledgeable indeed but it would be different to some people. Not all would cope up with the do's and don'ts therefore they'd still be at risk. The only time I'd advise this industry to non-crypto users is when price stabilizes.
2450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 12, 2023, 11:45:57 PM
If you notice, we are having slight sustained upward trend, which seem to indicate that barring catastrophic news, such as another FTX, that we can get back to $20k and beyond.

Yes, I can't just imagine what bring this positive vibes to the market as we have seen a slight upward trend in the last couple of days. $18,200 is not that bad and it's good to see that price again.

For anyone who is in on this, we know that sub $20k prices are extremely cheap, the thing is that there have been extreme downturns because of the leverage explosion but at the minimum that things return to normal the normal is a 2023 with upside.

But it's not yet the end of it, we can still accumulate sub $20k, still way below the last all time high we have in 2017. So it means there's a lot of time for us to stash and stack sats this year.
Still a long way for this uear. The first month has just started and there are many things that could take place if not for this month, but as this year goes on. My prospects which could trigger an uprise movement in the market price of cryptos are adoption from huge countries. This might create a trust towarda this industry despite of the market situation we are currently seeing, just like before. But if it is for anticipated bullish trend, I guess that is more likely to occur in 2024 during the next Bitcoin halving. As analysts have mentioned there are possible spikes in the market which we could make profit from. So being patient for now would be a better thing to do.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 12, 2023, 10:44:58 PM
Well, BNB is a good coin so if you choose to hold it, that's just fine. Converting it to stable coin would be a better idea if you want to avoid risks of losing but don't expect it to be as profitable as volatile ones. Lastly, converting it to Bitcoin would be fine as well but don't expect its market price to increase in an instant. Bitcoin is a major coin and it requires huge change in demand to make an increase wit its value or a bullish trend in this market. BNB's market prices moves a lot as well just like BTC so eitherways would be a good coin to hold. It will now be depending on your preference since we gave you the possible outcomes on your mentioned scenarios.
2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 12, 2023, 03:31:12 PM
That's just the best thing to do for now. Well, if you have the guts nd resources to make your assets bigger and hold for a long period of time, ofcourse that would be better. But on my end, my assets are not as big with others that is why I am taking extra caution of my actions. I am waiting for a clear trend line before I make a move whether to sell or hold. It is quite managing the risks involved. The market price is subject for time to time changes because of volatility. But right now, it seems that the price would play around 15, to 17, unless something big will happen for this year.  But at the present, new projects are quite being noisy so it could be an alternative if you're not used to big names in this industry.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can players bet on their own games on: January 12, 2023, 03:10:42 PM
They can make a bet through many ways such as paying someone to do it for them or betting with oneself if they are not allowed to do so. But in sports, not all people are into money alone given that in big tournaments they are being paid enough also, they'd be t risk of being sued if they'd be proven to sell their matches. Some players are just there for passion therefore they won't waste time betting on the opponent and win money. But there are times wherein players are forced to do so but it is less often caused of their own likeness. But again, if they would really like to, they would be able to do so. This is simply the bottomline.
2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It good For The Casinos And The Accusers If .. on: January 12, 2023, 02:07:03 PM
I think that's fine as long as concerns would be answered. Also, this forum is not solely for that. There are even projects which are not in this site but are existing. This forum would be an advantage to projects but it is not a requirement. What's important at the end of the day is  for projects to be able to aid problems raised by their users. Also, answers won't mean nothing if there will be no actions into it. Discussions are only for short term aids. There are even projects which are not directly answering accusations but are just focusing on the solution. Owners has their own ways to fix things in the first place. But on my end, I think it would be much better for them to answer issues on their platforms itself thru announcements to filter those who are really concerned and those who only adds up to issues they have nothing to do with.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 12, 2023, 01:34:48 PM
That's the sad reality. Some casinos are just not really into fairness or equality. The same idea as well exist with the treatment among players;bigger players vs smaller ones wherein the big ones are having a more convenient experience. But going back with the given situation, I also cam across with the mentioned topic; and as I've said, that was just some ugly excuse. If the machine was broken in the first place why did they even llow its operation? just for the players to enjoy? it is money we re talking about, not just some sort of a dumb game. I also believe that was planned such that whenever people would win big time, they'd emphasize the problem to forfeit the winnings. But I still want to know the side of the casino, and I hope that won't be another lame excuse.
2456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 11, 2023, 11:36:33 PM
Showing signs? I doubt. It is more part of its volatile nature. Sign I guess which could be considered is either its market price cross $20k or $14k; this will determine the direction for this year. But indeed, the year has just started and there are many things which may happen in this industry. But as to how I view the market situation at this moment, it will remain stagnant at the current market price bracket for months I think , as long as there's nothing to uprise the hope of investors perhaps new projects or positive news about Bitcoin adoption for major countries. Up until then, the price will more likely play around $15k to $17k so for now, holding and being patient would make us all prepared.
2457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basically All Small Cap Staking Coins Had this problem on: January 11, 2023, 10:42:20 PM
This is the unfortunate reality. Most of the newly released projects are only for short term both with small and large market caps unless the utility of the token itself would survive long term development which could keep it alive. But regarding tokens, most of the investors would let go for a short period of time to take their profit. Given that their assumption to a project would be downwards, they are simply saving themselves from loss and that makes it normal.Staking won't be a help as well; those who would follow the given period of holding the token, will more likely be squeezed in the middle as the market price of a particular tokens continues to fall. And this I guess is the idea which pushes them to sell early. A matter of those who'd sell early will get a better exist and those who'd go late would be losing more.
2458  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: January 11, 2023, 04:09:29 PM
Not still on my definition of success but I think in order to be on that state, one should be patient. This may sound cliché but that's just how this industry works. You have to be patient with the market behavior which is changing from time to time in an unpredictable manner. If you won't be oatient to wait for the 'right time', you'd end up being consumed by those changes financially, and morally as an investor. Profit won't be easily earned. Technical analysis won't be certain as well. Given that this industry will expose you to risks, then start it with yourself by being patient to lessen the risk and increase the chances of gining profit. I quite made a decent amount out of this industry and this was my practice before when losing was more often.
2459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 11, 2023, 03:48:41 PM
Will always be hard to tell. The market price could stabilize, go up, or fall down. Depends on indicators and factors. Right now, I think it is more likely to stabilize at its present market value until something of a news would take place to wake the interest of investors to engage with this industry, again, just like with previous all time highs. Also, what's anticipated right now is the 2024 halving but that would be too long to wait. If there would be other indicator, we may see its market value to climb up and break the $20k barrier afterwards.
If you have money that you want to invest and not use for anything else, then collect more Bitcoins from now on. We're going to see a lot of profit in the long term. See how bitcoin is still holding in the $16k-$17k price area and currently there is a tendency for recovery. 2023 could be a good year as long as there is no FUD like the previous ones. There's nothing wrong with collecting more, it's the same as making an investment that will give you future profits from every bitcoin you collect. if the price can be much lower than now, that will also be the best opportunity, but don't get your hopes up, buy gradually.
FUDs will never be gone as long as there are people who believed in it. Also, in this industry wherein there are no certainties, assumptions will surface the web continuously and that simply includes FUDs as part of it. This is why making onself knowledgeable would be always encouraged.
2460  Economy / Speculation / Re: what If Bitcoin Price never comes up on: January 11, 2023, 03:14:17 PM
Then you have to deal with it and seek for a better investment. We cannot demand its market value to move as we like since its market value is solely dependent with majority's demand. There are other cryptocurrencies which could be considered or other industries to choose from if you are just seeking for profit. But reality check; since we are talking about market value which is dependent with demand, sky is simply the limit. It would be impossible for its value to stop increasing if many people are wanting to engage into it; it will just continue rising. There are just seasons wherein there would be a difficulty for such thing to be seen especially in this industry.
