2461  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The anti-Putin paranoia. on: February 25, 2017, 03:09:11 PM
Putin is not our friend, to say the least.

Perhaps that is true. But I don't think that he is the enemy as well. The real enemy for the European civilization is the hordes of immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa. Russia and Putin is not a threat to the European culture.

Depends on how great he wants to make russia again.
The biggest difference of putins politics to any other is that he has time (see the gleichschaltung of the russian media which took around a decade).
He can reign for next 50 years if he can stop the economic meltdown of russia.
2462  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Marine Le Pen win? on: February 25, 2017, 03:05:15 PM
But you can never know, to be fair I would love to see a final turn with Melanchon and Lepen

There is no chance of that happening. Jean-Luc Mélenchon has suffered a sharp drop in his ratings. As per the latest opinion polls, he enjoys less than 10% support, with the other mainstream candidates far ahead of him.

Really?
Last update I saw about him was around 18% so a rather good amount for a far left candidate!

Can't say much though, I don't really see the "normal" candidates getting more than 10%. Who in his right mind would vote for something like Fillon or Macron?

Anyone with a brain will have to chose between extreme left and extreme right. The middle is just a bunch of sold bitches. We should all behead them.

Remember the times when extremism on the left and right was crazy and the middle was the golden way?  Undecided

EDIT: I just realized I misunderstood your point.

Well you understood part of it. I agree that we can't have others in the anonymity set unmasking their own transactions, because then it aids in unmasking the others as well.

Apologies I am not always writing clearly. Combination of:

  • Being only high 80s to low 90s percentile in writing skills, spelling, and vocabulary, but I am 99th percentile in reading comprehension and my conceptual "visual abstract mathematics" skill is lower level genius perhaps (at least in the 130 - 140 IQ range, perhaps higher). I've wondered if I am mildly Aspergers (the speech and language aspects only) but not sure, probably not. I also seem to have a mild dyslexia (so often order gets transposed or entire portions get dropped). And given my active abstract mind, this communication capability that others might see as above average, is from my vantage point a major disability sort of like being inside a jail and unable to communicate but rather than shutting down introvert I am extrovert. Btw, I think this is probably why I love programming because the vocabulary is small but the abstract domain is large.
  • Still suffering frequent (but not continuous) delirium of chronic fatigue due to my TB meds
  • Was very sleepy when I wrote that

Here is a new summary:

It's curious that I think the same about myself being an introvert ))

I don't know why it went the opposite direction for me. Maybe it is my high level of skill in athletics and thus I was able to relate socially on aspects other than my intellectual interests. I had also seen those as two distinct sides of myself. But I would also go introvert at times, wanting to get away from boring social interaction and get back on my computer and intellectual pursuits. Maybe you can relate?

My father and mother are both very skilled in vocabulary and writing, yet my father is an introvert by nature and very good faked extrovert. My mother is an extrovert.

More I think about, I was an extrovert since early childhood or even as an infant. I remember when I was 5, I would walk up to a group of adult strangers in the park and entertain them in conversation. I remember at a very early age, I became very interested in the philosophical conversations my 160 IQ step-father was having and I realized I could follow all the logic easily.

Did you ever test your MBTI? You sound like a ENTP/J.
It helped me to find out my strength and weaknesses and focuss on areas which i needed to improve.

This is so easy to do!!!! Just stop selling!!  Angry
2465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trump being new POTUS - how it will affect Bitcoin in the long run? on: February 25, 2017, 01:32:26 PM
Bitcoin is mostly about the United states

No it is not. The big move in bitcoin that made it mainstream came in 2013 when Cyprus confiscated the savings of it's people to bail out the banks.

Basically countries like the USA and UK, which have had a very long period of rule of law, are not the drivers of bitcoin because the dollar and pound are trusted by their citizens. The same goes for Sweden and Denmark, they are stable countries who control their own currency.

Bitcoin is of benefit to those countries who DON'T have the rule of law and are thus very dangerous. So Argentina, Venezuela, various places in Africa and Asia, and the eurozone countries.

The biggie for Bitcoin is March 2017, when France has it's elections. One of the candidates wants to leave the euro. Changing currency brings instability and I expect funds will rush into bitcoin, gold, the dollar, pound and swiss franc just before the election.

You overestimate bitcoin by too much.
Be realistic. Bitcoins marketcap is barely 19 billions.
And 2013 was all mt. Gox.

If there will be a black swan event in the coming years we will be lucky if just 1% of money enters bitcoin (which will give us easily a x10).
2466  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump on his last leg? on: February 25, 2017, 10:20:08 AM
Uh.
You get US citizenship easily in 1-2 years if you work in certain sectors or you invest 100k $ in an US venture (it depends on your origin too - people from the UK, Canada or germany will have it much easier as some nepalese or sub sahara african).

So no 10 years waiting time if you arent a economic migrant or refugee.

Not even talking about regular (working/staying) visas...

Non criminal illegals, no he does not hate them.

Perhaps that is true. But I want them deported as well, along with their anchor babies. Those who go through the legal route have to wait for 5 or 6 years before they get the clearance. Then why the law breakers should be given preference over them?
You are not right. Inspection of emigrants on the propensity to terrorism and the possibility of adapting in America lasts very long and not always migrants receive a reasoned refusal. Of course the migrants begin to hide from the migration service. And as a result we get a lot of illegal immigrants. Maybe it was necessary to begin not with deportation, and legalization?

Legalization of illegal immigrants will be extremely unfair to those who took the legal path. I know someone who is waiting for more than 10 years, to immigrate to the United States. He can't get his visa, despite having family connections in the United States.

That means he is just a economic migrant with low/no education and bad job experience.
If  that would not be the case he would have already been accepted through the green/blue card program or as a refugee if he comes from a warzone.

If he has family who is legal in the US they can get him easily to the us. They just need to earn enough money.
And if they are husbands/parents it is becoming even more easy.

When Google do stuff like this, do they post the actual reasons or do they just take out the site, goodbye and thank you?

Their policy is never to comment on why they take out a website.

Since when is google the world department of truth?  Huh

Natural news and investigative journalism in one sentence LOL

2471  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War between US and China on: February 22, 2017, 05:12:21 PM
Unfortunately, all leaders tend to have larger ambitions. They always present delusions of grandeur and as soon as they encounter others in the same leader the other methods except the war they have no choice. Moreover, they do not fight and are therefore not afraid to be killed or wounded.

That is not true. Perhaps that was the case a few decades back. But nowadays, the political leaders can't afford to alienate the general population by taking one-sided decisions. The people are more aware about the current affairs and politics, thanks to the internet and social media. It is not possible to control them by hiding the facts.

Trump lol

Btw. With accepting the one china policy the danger of a hot war was for sure lowered.
Good choice of trump to take some steps back.
(I think this is the reason why china enacted a coal embargo to north korea - one hand helps the other)

SCS and trading deficit are still a hot topic though.

Migrants fleeing from war, and would have to defend their country. I have no respect. They are traitors. Why should they even allowed into the country? Unless we have given permission to the government to risk the country's economy for the sake of the cowards?

100% agreed. Look at the so called "rapefugees" in Germany. Somewhere around 80% and 90% of them are adult males. IMO, Germany should have given preference to the women and children.

That was already debunked a year ago. But you might want to tweet that to trump. Maybe he will say that on the next white house press conference lol
2474  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War between US and China on: February 21, 2017, 07:42:54 PM
Have you imagine that japan will attack china (or other country connected to china) with the command of US? , lol nope

If a military confrontation between Japan and China happens in the near future, I am 100% sure that the American military will get involved in the warfare (on the Japanese side). That said, Japan doesn't really need help from the US. Despite the popular myths, the Japanese armed forces is much better than the PLA.

Good joke. Do you only get a green card if your are a comedian? Lol

The US spends tens of billions on THAAD in SEA just for fun and giggles.
(And before you get the genius idea China >>>>>>north korea)
2475  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kim Jong-nam assassination: Malaysian police arrest 4th suspect on: February 21, 2017, 07:40:29 PM
If the Americans had not invaded Iraq then Saddam Hussein probably would rule the country until now.

Saddam Hussein's rule was far better than the current chaos and anarchy. If he was in power, the ISIS would have never come in to existence. Also, the religious minorities enjoyed protection under Saddam Hussein.

Luls. Bombing kurds with toxic gas. Kidnapping, raping, torturing and murdering minors on daily basis.

Karma is a bitch. I expect it wont take long until you will get kicked out of the US and have to go back to your shithole if the the white crusade gets what they want Smiley

Haha good luck for that! Under 90% income tax , hardly possible  Cheesy

In about two months time, France is about to hold the presidential elections. My feeling is that the second round is going to be between Marine Le Pen and François Fillon (provided Benoît Hamon comes third in the first round). Both these candidates are pro-business, and therefore it is good news for the tax payers.
Both these candidates is a bad thing for France. Both are friends of Putin, and this introduces a split in the European Union. If the EU will disintegrate he will suffer. True Russian can is not to celebrate because yesterday in the office of Marie Le pen was searched. I think that soon one candidate will be less.

The EU is importing in terrorists and anti-semites into Europe, that further radicalizes local mentally ill people.

Do you think the EU is a good thing?

Makes no sense majority of people in key positions on world stage are jews.
The richest people on planet earth are jews.
Ever heard of the word Jewmerica?
Its pretty much the same in the EU. Jews are politically and economically a extreme strong class of people.
2478  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think in the future on DONALD TRUMP in his term of presidency ? on: February 20, 2017, 08:13:24 PM
You don't buy that there were unsound and unsafe banking practices that led to the 2008 crash?  Or you don't buy that the law curbs some of those risks?  You're defending a move which is clearly profitable for bankers and increases the risk of casino-style banking and the threat of future bailouts/bailins.  Incontrovertibly, not having to pay for the mistakes of the finance sector is in the benefit of the little man.  If you have any dealings in fiat, it's in your benefit not to pay for those mistakes either.

I'm not saying Dodd-Frank was perfect, by any means, but opening the floodgates to irresponsible lending, reckless derivatives speculation, corruption and general instability is dumb.
.....
Assuming that a large and complex piece of legislation written by bankers for bankers has any relation at all to the bolded above is really not logical.  Think about it.  How many bankers went to jail?  Why?

America's inability to prosecute bankers isn't in question.  We know that's never going to change regardless of what regulatory measures are or aren't in place.  Although to answer your question, some argue it's around 35, but Dodd-Frank probably wasn't pertinent to all of them.  Sure, if more punitive measures had been involved in drafting that legislation, more banksters would be locked up.  And some critics did complain that the law didn't go far enough in that regard.  But how the immoral activities are punished isn't the question here.  It's how you define which activities are permissible and which aren't permissible to begin with.  That emphasis will now shift because the focus is now on keeping the money flowing at all costs, whereas before it was keeping the money flowing while taking safe practices into consideration.  Repealing the legislation means a greater number of questionable practices will be deemed permissible than before.  Complexity and authorship aside, this is a dangerous change in ethos.

Also, don't pretend for a second that the puppetmasters behind this deregulation aren't banksters:

Quote
The president had praise for Jamie Dimon, whose bank, JPMorgan Chase, was often a target of regulatory actions by the Obama administration.
“There’s nobody better to tell me about Dodd-Frank than Jamie, so you’re going to tell me about it,” Mr. Trump said.

The meeting underscored the degree to which the architects of Mr. Trump’s economic strategy are now some of the people he denounced in his campaign, which ended with a commercial that described “a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations.”

The advertisement flashed an image of the chief executive of Goldman Sachs, which has become a virtual feeder for top Trump administration officials. Steven Mnuchin, his nominee for Treasury secretary; Gary Cohn, the chairman of his national economic council; and Stephen K. Bannon, Mr. Trump’s chief strategist, all had worked at Goldman.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/03/business/dealbook/trump-congress-financial-regulations.html

Quite literally, the lunatics are taking over the asylum.  The banksters call the shots now.  Yet you cry that banksters wrote the legislation, so getting rid of it must be great.  Even though it's banksters getting rid of it?  Yeah, sounds logical.   Roll Eyes

This is prime example of cognitive bias.
Unable to see the wood for the trees.
2479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to hack BTC on that address only by knowing the bitcoin address? on: February 18, 2017, 09:54:06 PM
Actually, I want to know how to attack the bitcoin address.
Get an address with a high amount of bitcoin in it. How can a hacker attack this address? There is no other information. There's only address information and bitcoin amount.

This is actually very easy.

1) buy a pretty good quality computer.  Best if fully dedicated and separate from your normal computer.
2) download and install Vanitygen
3) 64 vanitygen64 (64 is faster and works better than normal vanitygen)
4) start scan on the address like this at the command line: vanitygen64 1FuckYouc6zrtHbnqcHdhrSVhcxgpJgfds

It will take some time for sure.  But soon you will have the key for that address.

Don't let the morons around here tell you it is impossible.  That is just plain wrong.  It is scientifically provable that this works.  Dumbasses who don't understand statistics love declaring this impossible.  Vanitygen guesses millions of times per second.  With enough seconds, it is not impossible.

Lol I love your word soon...
it is quiet quick when you want an adress which start with some letters and that you don't care about the rest.
But if you are targetting a precise and full address, here is a table for an estimate of time :

vanity    difficulty    average time
1B    22    < 1s
1Bi    1,330    < 1s
1Bit    77,178    < 1s
1Bitc    4,476,342 (4.48E+6)    < 10s
1Bitco    259,627,881 (2.6E+8)    3 minutes
1Bitcoi    15,058,417,127 (1.506E+10)    3 hours
1Bitcoin    8.7339E+11    1 week
1BitcoinE    5.0657E+13    1 year
1BitcoinEa    2.9381E+15    60 years
1BitcoinEat    1.7041E+17    3,500 years
1BitcoinEate    9.8837E+18    200,000 years
1BitcoinEater    5.7325E+20    11,700,000 years
1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSend    1.6209E+47    3.3E+33 or 3.3 decillion years.

So yeah if several thousand of years is soon for you, sure start it now Wink

I said you have to buy a 'good quality computer'.  You probably have a piece of shit you got at Radio Shack 10 years ago.

For humanities sake please just jump from a bridge.
The consequence would be an increase of humanities average iq by atleast 10 points  Cheesy

I read a study from 2014/15 about the coming grand minimum and its possible effects:

Regional climate impacts of a possible future grand solar minimum

The impact seems small like around the order of 1/10th of a degree on average.
