Welcome back criptix, S1lverfox has a new exchange cryptochangex.com and also runs a successful bitcoin escrow service. You can check his rep ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=152126). I spoke with his developer earlier and he's promised trading by Friday. In meantime, I'm sure S1lverfox would be open to doing an escrow for anyone who has trust issues with stocks.exchange. Also, I'll try and get a progress report from kucoin.com. I spoke with them last night and they said they're still working on it. Apparently while the executives were on vacation the developers were busy releasing Android and iPhone applications so hopefully we get some progress from them. Wie cygan schon erklärt hat, kommt es bei der Bezahlung primär auf dem Forumrank an. Bezahlungen erfolgen heutzutage in Bitcoins, Altcoins oder sonstige Token (ERC20 etc. pp.). And the same naysayers will say that Bitcoin has no value in comparison? The gaslighting is real. I was very bearish on Facebook when it IPOd as well. I was upset that it has a value comparible to Google when google has 1,000 times more software and infrastructure and Facebook is a mere social network - just a simple UI. Nothing is keeping people from using a different provider than Facebook before there is nothing complicated or original about it. And now theyre pissing off their users with advertising and controls. I think it should be worth 0.0001 with the rest of the penny stocks. One day it will go the way of myspace. Lets look at Facebooks market cap as the target maximum that will be invested in a speculatory bubble. Were halfway there. I called $20,000 four years ago. This is based on the transition of our society into a knowledge age. Most people dont realize it yet but in in the next 50 years majority of classical technologies will disappear and be replaced by IoT and autonomous AI's. The future is undoubtly virtual and will more and more become reality. Facebook has the advantage of having a ridicilous database - that is their main value. /edit Also about the old folks: more and more old people are using social media. Art obviously doesn't know how to read a log chart, or doesn't care.
On a log chart, Bitcoin doesn't currently look parabolic. $50k/btc within 3-5 months from now would be parabolic. I don't see that happening. And if it did, I would be agreeing with Art then.

Oil is over. The supply never stops getting bigger, they always discover new places, this is not even the problem. The thing is, more efficient sources of energy will deprecate this asset. Governments will be forced to start strict anti gas cars and push a more clean and environmental friendly agenda if they don't want everyone dead in a couple of decades.
I'm certain oil and engines burning oil derived products will still be around one hundred years similar to now. My reasoning is that Coal peaked a very long time ago in the steam or industrial age before world war one but to this day we still find a use for it and it is unique. Coal is actually the most dense (common) form of energy you can transport. It also burns quite slow and unrefined so it has negatives but also some positives that never went away. The same will be true of oil which can be transported to remote destinations and can actually be refined to a large extent. I dont believe it was ever that suitable to be burned within large cities so hopefully this will change in favour of electric perhaps. Long term Oil wont likely spike in price as predicted by some but it wont decline a massive amount either. The base line of world population growth means this is unlikely. However we are seeing a shift to newer technology like solar panels and efficient light batteries, there is still a long way to go and that can easily take decades to occur. Even in the western richest countries it will be a long time, globally a century is a reasonable estimate for oil to still be in use imo Oil was a cheap energy source like coal in the past. Coal is still one of the main energy supply of a lot of nations - the cost is low because environmental and health problems are not visible in the beginning. Oil is much more widely used as just an energy supply - it is used to make plastics. It seems that most easy oil sources are getting depleted in the midterm. |
