2461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token on swap platform on: October 07, 2020, 08:29:03 PM
There will be a ton of these, the vetting process is not big at all which causes a lot of scams and fakes to be listed there and it causes people to fall in thinking it is a legit coin which causes people to lose money and someone else to take profit. This is not really a new thing because it has been around for a long time and people have done this for a long period of time. There has been fake coins in regular cex listed as well and it isn't the first time this happens.

However there is a solution to this as well, if you want to use an exchange do not use everything you find, people are a bit idiotic that way because they believe into every single exchange and that causes people to just lose, but if you pick a great exchange like binance you will never be faked.
2462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 07, 2020, 04:03:33 AM
It was already making coinbase equivalent volume even without launch of uni token, any token can be traded there as long as they are unlocked, and tons of ethereum tokens are created daily. I believe it gonna go further even more when ethereum fees lessens a bit with launch of ethereum 2.
the obstacle for traders at Uniswap is that the fee is too large. requires large capital to be able to trade there. I don't think that's the problem with the ethereum network. However, the fees charged by Uniswap are already high. there may be a reduction in the future when the ethereum network is fully adapted.
That is right and actually people were glad that the high fees they had to pay for trading at uniswap was covered by the airdrop they did and now everyone is happy but the true fact that the exchange fees is abnormally high still remains and hurts traders. I mean yes it feels good people got some hefty amount of coins for free but the basic problem of trading fees/transaction fees still remains and they need to work on it if possible.

But all those being said, a decentralized exchange as smooth and transparent as ever has every chance to become the largest exchange if not already and perform good just the fees issue needs to be looked upon and fixed asap.
2463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: October 06, 2020, 08:18:05 PM
That's out of mind. He has right to share his prediction but he shouldn't be insane. I just wanna go his Twitter account and ask him, how he did this predicition and based on which purpose? Cause i haven't found any valid reasons behind it. But it will be great if his prediction come true and Bitcoin really reach to $100K
Yes, anyone can predict the price of bitcoin. But at this time, there is no strong reason to reach $100k. I think it is still far from current price. But we can hope to reach $100k.
I am not even expecting bitcoins to reach 100k in the next 5 years and that is not because I don't believe in bitcoins but because the growth now is really organic and earlier bitcoins was not as popular as it is now so almost everyone is known to bitcoins which means the investment coming into bitcoins will surely rise the price but not by abnormal numbers but rather by small amounts and yes one day it might reach 100k but it has to scale really well to reach that value.

One reason I see that that value might be reached is because the mining profits in BTC is decreasing with each halving and hence the price will go up rapidly once the miner's fees is really low and that is one logic I see how it can reach 100k but not anytime soon.
2464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: October 06, 2020, 07:20:27 PM
Yes, unlike the price it is always good to invest into bitcoin. As for concerned bitcoin market volatility is found throughout, and people are known about it. At times the market fluctuation is being used as an opportunity to manipulate by the Whales. This manipulation at times help the low volume holders to make a buying. So, we need to wait for the right opportunity to buy.
Manipulation of the BTC market does not happen now I am quite sure because the market is so saturated and large that a single whale has lost it's ability to swing the market on their own. Also each time a whale manipulates the market they sell a big part of bitcoins which means that the market becomes more and more fluent and liquid because the lesser whales we have the lesser chances are there for anyone to change the market at their will. Maybe in small crypto pairs this is still going on as someone can occupy a large number of coins and then easily play around to start a bull and bear run at will but surely not in bitcoins in current situation.

I always think any time to buy bitcoins is a good idea but only if you have the patience to wait at least 6 months because if you panic too early then you might end up in loss as some investors liquidated their holdings in March and we all know that drop in price was caused because people used the cryptocurrency as a source of liquidity for their livings.
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your HODL and favorite project on: October 06, 2020, 06:23:44 PM
I am getting sick of hodling tbh, I have been doing that for the past 3 years and gained nothing, I missed tens of swing trading opportunities via which I could double my current portfolio, but hey, cry me a river, it is what it is. Not sure about my favorite hodl, probably RSR as I am a firm believer that they will make it.
Well Hold or Hodl as we crypto people passionately call is good only if you have the knowledge when to sell your coin. Hold does not mean you hold them too long because almost every minor altcoin has a life cycle through which it will have a great value, poor value, average value and then dust value. the aim is to hold long enough to sell them at the best price but waiting too long can mean that you end up selling at the dust value.

I love holding bitcoins while I keep trading my alts every few weeks to ensure that I a holding dead coins and sometimes I have to sell-off my alts in a span of a few days because the market is not holding up positively. Holding is good if you are holding simply bitcoins or a solid coin like ETH or XRP which has a big life cycle and scales well.
2466  Economy / Economics / Re: How freelancing websites killed design and developement bussinesses ... on: October 05, 2020, 04:27:08 AM
Freelancing websites reduces the inequality in their earnings no matter what region they are from because skills matter more for someone to earn not the country of origin. If you accept it or not but you have to accept the reality and survive with what you make.
Also now that these websites exist we as a designer know the true value of our efforts, I am myself a part time designer and I was being hired by my local people for very cheap but now so many platforms are available I actually love to work for people outside my country because they pay better and they require less changes/complications. Plus when the employer knows that you need money they actually make you work more and pay less but when you work remotely for unknown clients they only need what they mention and don't harass you for more work even after the work is complete.

I am actually very thankful to freelancing sites like fiverr and others no matter how someone is at loss because of them like OP said, but I am positively influenced and actually people who hate them might be those who have low skill level and now insecure of their job as companies can hire new talent as cheaper prices.
2467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 03, 2020, 04:05:19 PM
Honestly game was a lot more one sided than the score suggests, without Bam Adebayo there was nobody that could defend AD, not that Bam coudl stop AD neither but this was more like grown man playing against kids, whereas when Bam played AD had to play with more talent and had to be more smooth, this was just too easy for him.

Obviously game 3 will be different, Bam and Dragoic both are ready to play, they kept them out because they wanted them to have one game rest, with this rest they are going to be much better on game 3. Miami preferred to have half of dragic/bam and force them to play and instead picked the option where they lose game 2 and come back on game 3 with everyone rested and almost healed, that way they could maybe win 2 games in a row to make the series tied, the other method of playing with injury wouldn't help them at all.

2469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your keys, your bitcoin? on: September 06, 2020, 05:06:07 PM
It’s not a law, people are saying that to let you know that if you don’t have your keys, you don’t have full control over your cryptocurrency. If your cryptocurrencies are stored in an offline wallet such Exodus that gives you total control, and you happen not to have the private keys, you won’t be able to get your cryptocurrencies back if you lose that wallet.

But if you have your wallet, even if you maybe mistakenly uninstall that wallet you will still get your cryptocurrencies back as long as you have your private keys. And also another reason they say that is because of those people that store all their coins on an exchange; when your coins are stored on an exchange, that exchange has control over your coins, because they have the private keys.

All the teams that progressed were the favourites also in the Europa and Champions League so far, so I guess conditioning affects everyone equally.
I thought it would be effecting teams depending on their youth, for example if a young player doesn't play for a while they still can go out and play like nothing happened because they are still young and their body haven't given up on them just yet, now that I am a bit older I understand why players retire at a certain age and not just practice and train harder to keep playing until well over 40, I know why because even if you do whatever you do previously, you are going to get your body letting you down no matter how hard you work, even Ronaldo who probably is the leading talented player when it comes to taking care of your body, will have to slow down and quit eventually. So, a team filled with older players would play bad after pandemic break was my theory but apparently it is not that much different.

Honestly I still think that you could play on the same account at two places, I can't do it, it is not working with chrome+opera but maybe tor?
After testing it on my end, I believe what happens is that it only allows one dice session at a time, and any new sessions simply void the obsolete ones. If that is the case, then I do not see any way for sonx to reach such a high betting speed without exploiting the dice game somehow.

Two of the automatic dice still keep the speed at roughly 8bps whereas you would need to shift that by at least 30% to get to sonx's speed... and I don't imagine many people could do that with just a faster connection, right?

I did try my self when I participated on the dice competition. As you have just tried, the autobet on the first tab stopped just after I start the autobet on the 2nd tab. I also tried with two different browser, the same happened. I do not think it is about internet connection as I think my connection is good enough (20mbps) but still hard to compete with the other participants. Sonx must have special trick to do so fast betting speed so he could gain much more points than others. Afaik most participants played with the same payout (2x).
Maybe he is using a third party app that allows him to put up bunch of bets all at the same time just putting them on a line to get through all together or whatever. There are tons of apps like seuntjie or stuff and that could really help people out, that way you could just simply focus on how to make as much profit as you can but also focus on just gambling for gambling sake and have as many bets as you can.

Do they make it faster? I have no idea, but if they do, that could be the answer. Honestly looking at the website what they are doing looks impossible, so there must be a way that they are doing which we can't really see or understand, I have no idea what that could be but I am pretty sure there is a method that is not known to other people which they trick the website for faster betting.

I doubt that anyone that has referalls on this site will not be checking on the site anymore. Literally anyone that pour some effort to spread that referall link will be checking the site to see how many referalls that he got after spreading those links

Besides thats not the only way to get one ticket. You could wager 500 satoshi and get 1 ticket  Tongue Anything from 500 - 999 satoshi should give you only 1 ticket. Also he could be wagering with his autobet and slightly get 1 ticket exactly after the previous round ended , who knows though . Tons of stuff might be well off our prediction

Not likely,,, if a guy goes in to wager 500, he would also click freeroll why not?

Anyway, at least it is easy here to check. For most of my other sites,,, ref fees or commissions are locked in a separate account but it is quite easy actually when you are a referral on freebitcoin, if your refs are active,,, you get immediate satoshi in your balance so that is instant knowledge;)
You can definitely work on your affiliate for a long time, get paid for it at that time but when it slowly stops and the numbers go down you could see that there is like 100 satoshi to be made in a whole month and maybe not check again.

A lot of affiliates do stop when their referrals stop as well, they just get bored of constantly trying to find people and quit their job and go do something else. And I think Thequin did mention that he was a person who got that 1 free ticket from affiliate and not himself, so it is not a made up guess, it was a fact so I think that should play a role as well.

In the end it is still a great proof that anyone could win, you can have a higher chance of winning with 5 million tickets, or you could have a very low chance of winning with 1 ticket but you can just win with both of them.
2475  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: August 04, 2020, 07:11:21 PM
Changes? You mean by people making use of cryptocurrency or Tim Draper investing in their country?
As for Tim Draper investing in their economy, or sure that will have some good impact and will be helping their economy, especially when the company he has invested in is doing well, it will be a good thing for the country in so many ways. If you’re referring to cryptocurrency, I can’t really tell what the changes are going to be, except that it gives people full control over their money and the ability to quickly send and receive payment, apart from that I can’t say any other thing.
2476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Foundation ETH2, The Biggest Update For Etherum | From PoW To PoS on: August 04, 2020, 06:41:24 PM
I hope they reach the number of validators that’s required to start launching the project. The last time I checked that link they have not even gotten to half of the 16,384 validators that are needed, although they are almost close to half. Looking forward to more people signing up as validators and finally launching the project.

It's a long journey to achieve for Etherum 2 & this will make Etherum as we know right now skyrocket in price value & become one of the best Asset Of Value same as Bitcoin.
Lol, Ethereum is already one of the best cryptocurrency in the market. Apart from Bitcoin, ETH is the best cryptocurrency there is, for me, much better than the other cryptocurrencies and it’s usually worth investing. There is definitely going to be increase in the price value after this is successful.
2477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is 5 years old today! on: August 04, 2020, 04:57:39 PM
Ethereum is really one of the best things that has been created in the cryptocurrency industry/community. Apart from Bitcoin that has made money and payment easier with the use of the Blockchain Technology, Ethereum is doing the same thing for apps. It created a platform that will allow smart contracts to run without trust. I have been seeing about the Ethereum 2.0 that will be launched anytime from now, they have not announced any date. I believe there is still more that Ethereum will have to offer us.
2478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Tether (USDT) flips Ethereum (ETH)? on: August 04, 2020, 03:57:40 PM
USDT is surprisingly rising in market cap but I don’t think it’s going to affect Ethereum even if it rises above it in terms of market cap. At the end of the day, USDT is still a stable coin that shows negligible changes in its price.

People will only use it as a substitute for fiat money as they won’t have to deal with banks and everything and the trading becomes much more convenient. As people usually tend to “follow the money”, USDT is of no use as it doesn’t make you money or profits itsthere just as a substitute to real money. So, ETH is not losing any attention, and neither is USDT going to gain any.
2479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 04, 2020, 03:09:33 PM
Promising people and developers that have an actual experience of running a project.

They must dedicate to that project so that the investors will believe again to them because if they don't, ICOs are good to say as a dead crowdfunding.

Not all about promises but with actual application.
Many teams hire freelance developers these days for their project and not someone renowned with a good history.
Freelance developers cannot be trusted as they have the right to leave the project whenever they want to and, in that scenario, the project remains hanging.

A team of experienced developers, advisors and technical staff is what most of the people look for in a project.

If a project is launching an ICO, investors should be smart enough to carry out all the research and background check before investing their hard earned money into it.
2480  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: August 04, 2020, 02:11:02 PM
You get a proportional amount of the profits, it doesn't matter if you invest $1 or $1,000,000. Actually your returns are lower the more you invest (but you have to invest a lot for this to be relevant).
Yes, you get proportional but I just wanted to learn from small time investors that how much they have made and what they were thinking about it.

When you make 10% in few months that is 10 bucks if you invested 100 dollars, that is 10 million dollars if you invested 100m, obviously I doubt anyone would ever invest 100 million Cheesy that is too much, but I just wanted to show you the difference how much it could be when we are talking about same amount of % earned but from different amounts.

This is the reason why I am asking what the lower end investors are thinking, does it worth it because it makes a decent amount, or is it too little to care when you are investing such a small amount, because if it is just too little to care, I could risk it on something else that would be riskier but higher earning instead.
