2461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Price Prediction on: June 08, 2021, 06:59:49 AM
The difference is Tx per second. Bitcoin is 2.76, Bitcoin Cash is 0.84. Bitcoin Cash transactions have cheaper fees.

I think this is just the actual transactions happening per second, which is not really what tps is right? TPS to my understanding is the MAX capability of transactions handled per second which I think is 8 for BTC (I am not sure) and a lot more for BCH.

Please do not misunderstand I do not at all like BCH:) Just want to say their blocks are bigger so can fit in more tx:)
2462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 08, 2021, 06:25:34 AM
The best is always P2P then, which country are you in? If you are in USA then too bad you cannot use localbitcoins without license but if you want, just go online and try decentralized P2P platforms like localcoinswap and localcryptos. I know in Asia a lot of Whatsapp and Yahoo groups:) You can try ask some of them,,, some people do not mind sending overseas for bigger fees.
2463  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: June 08, 2021, 06:04:14 AM
@leea-1334
Like I said before, I am not saying Spurs is a bad team, I never claimed that, and you guys are acting as if I said Spurs is a bad team, you have named a few players that came out Spurs, which is good and all but that doesn't make you at the top tier neither. All I said was there are like maybe 5 or at most 10 teams at the top tier of all european teams, those are at a different level and I believe spurs is not there.

I would say that they are definitely in the top 20 of the european clubs but I wouldn't put them in top 5 at all, its a place where we have to talk about if top tier is top 5 or top 10 or top 20, if you say top 20 is top tier then you can put Spurs in there for now. However Hhampuz shows that they have been "good" for 3 seasons, and that good is being top 16 and I know that, I still think eliminated at top 16 is not top tier, and they have done this recently, go back further and they are even worse. I just feel like I wouldn't put them in the same category as Barcelona, Madrid, City, Bayern, PSG and the likes.

Okay:) No worries I am not offended if that is what you think I am,,, but when you say second tier, and now you say Spurs is in top 20, then I am puzzled because first tier to me is the whole of premier league, la liga, serie A, bundesliga, etc,,, from all the "top seed" national leagues of uefa coefficient.

To be in top 20 european clubs and still becoming second tier, then how many tiers are there in over 100 clubs from all the big leagues? Smiley
2464  Economy / Speculation / Re: My million dollar bitcoin price probabilities prediction on: June 07, 2021, 02:51:29 PM
OP nice,,, but this is not a theory at all. A theory must have an underlying series of evidence. A proposal or prediction is more what this is, and even then it should be based on something, even if it is just made up patterns, which is what all TA predictions do by the way so no worries if you think it might not be as good;)

2029 1 million is nice because then I will not be a millionaire but if you convert to my local currency I will have more than 1 million. Can buy a big house in the town:)
2465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2021, 02:08:32 PM
This pandemic greatly contributes to the adoption of cryptocurrencies in many countries especially in a third-world country.

People are hoping for something profitable and they found out that bitcoin can be a good thing to fight inflation that's why.

Covid-19 gives way to those people who want to enlighten themselves in terms of investment but the best part is that it is in digital aspects.

Is that really true? I do not really see how pandemic helps that because yes,,, people were buying more bitcoin because of inflation, using their salaries to get more I can believe this.

But in third world countries or even like in my own, people are not earning in pandemic and have no salaries. How to buy Bitcoin?Smiley They are living at home and trying to do 2nd or even 3rd jobs now.
2466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: By all means make some money but don't be a Zionist, be a dignified gentile on: June 07, 2021, 12:42:09 PM
I actually had to look up gentile and I am not really sure I understand what a Zionist is. But can we all face the facts that 99.99% of us all here would do what is best for ourselves? And that means taking the most money if and when we can?

And if people do not sell off,,, then where do we get new long term hodlers? Is it better to just let people who buy in hype hodl and stay in the game and not be healthy for it?
2467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Token Pocket Official Bitcoin Forum channel is Live! on: June 07, 2021, 12:01:35 PM
Interesting,,, have yet to see a pure defi aggregator on a mobile app (that actually works well). Many I tried out of curiosity but many just very buggy. Any plans to make codes all fully open source and maybe web extension so you can use on mobile browser instead of app? Just curious. Not so much into defi but nft on other chains seem nifty if I have spare cash:)
2468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Junior students ask for advice: what money is worth investing now, and what mone on: June 07, 2021, 10:42:35 AM
Are you skipping bitcoin? you look at altcoins and then you're wanting to have a long term goal in this market. If that is so, bitcoin is the ideal choice of yours.
It's been proven by me and the others who have held it for more than 5 years which is your goal. In the past it was quite cheaper but as time goes, you see the progress of it and there's more to its price today which shall increase in the future.

Yes,,, but maybe because this is the altcoin speculation thread?Wink

You are right though,,, Junior students or old man, if this is your first time in crypto, do your own research BUT meanwhile buy Bitcoin until you are more confident and know for sure what to invest in. Everything else is a bigger risk (yes bigger potential for profit too but you want to be safe as a first timer).
2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google search volume for Cryptocurrency related topics broke a new All time high on: June 07, 2021, 10:06:04 AM
I guess the data will not be the same in all countries because people who search about cryptocurrency will not be the same too and that can make the result different. Maybe in your country, the result makes all-time high but we do not know what is happening to the other country. But with the mass adoption that happens in many countries, I am sure the search volume about cryptocurrency can increase daily. That means cryptocurrency will become more popular than before.

Well duh obviously,,,:) And google does take into account a lot of factors as you say. Not that they are the best. In India and in China they also have their own search engines that probably show other results, but the point here is, based on Google own algorithm they have made an all time interest high.

That is still important!
2470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin will Flip Bitcoin on: June 07, 2021, 08:58:52 AM
Just think about this?! Why should companies like McDonald and Sturbucks use DOGE? After all, the most stable cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. If ever someone chooses cryptocurrency as payment, it will definitely be Bitcoin. There is no doubt! The most stable and the most popular - it is enough.

Because they all have used stupid things in the past? Burgerking in Russia I remember a few years ago tried burgercoin.

Bitcoin is not stable too, and expensive to transact unless they all use Lightning, which is anyway pointless to train staff to use without mistakes unless they trust third party apps.

I love BTC too but would never say it is useful for cheap food payments man.
2471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reversal Psychology ! on: June 07, 2021, 08:06:01 AM
The Psychology of Reversal probably only occurs short term if we keep checking the prices too often. I mean right after we buy or sell the chances are probably 50/50 for the price to move in our favour or against us. While it is important to check prices regularly, we shouldn't worry too much about short term gains or losses in my opinion. It is better to trade for the long run. Crypto currencies tend to move in cycles, so if we make some loss this year, we will likely recover next year. Instead of selling while my coins are red, I tend to just hold them longer and sell eventually with at least some profit.

Imagine the difference in checking every 5 minutes as opposed to even 50 minutes.

The brain needs rest and psychology is about behavior and repetition,,, so I agree. The more often you check, the more you build a pattern and repeat, the more your brain craves for that repetition.

That is why reversal psychology kicks in.
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 07, 2021, 06:47:55 AM
Sergio Busquests has found positive for Covid, and now the whole Spain team is in quarantine.
What will happen if a case will happen if a team will get cases during the 3-week competition?

The 1st game of Spain will be at 14th June.

Oh no I did not read this in the news until I saw your post and now confirmed it,,, what is going on over there in Europe I thought most countries there already pass the covid spike and did not the players all go through covid bubble preparations like in America?

I read about press news about this they said all these things would be taken care of but this is a huge problem now.

The only good thing is rest of team are negative.
2473  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: June 07, 2021, 06:09:50 AM
Thank you for these words Hhampuz hehe:)

tygeade I am a Spurs fan here and I do not know what the London native fans feel like but from a very small group of Spurs supporters in my hometown I think we can summarize our thoughts as this,,, we are a good club and we are a London club, so that has helped us attract a lot of players who would not usually pick our team (living in capital overseas is always important for family I believe for many foreigners).

But at the core, when you see who we have had and our motto, we do believe in good and positive football and have had the ability to turn people into talents. Think back before our current team and see Gareth Bale, even people like Llorente, and think about Modric, and think about Berbatov to go that far back!

Since Kane, who by the way is almost every season fighting for golden boot despite every season getting bad injuries, as Hhampuz shows, we have made champions league and gone through group stage. And we finished in good places in Premier League.

At less budget than others, at less star teams than others. We just had a bad board that did not support Poch but otherwise we were a good team at points. See how we played especially two season and three seasons ago! Watch 18/19 Champions League and tell me that was a second rate team:)
2474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 06, 2021, 03:37:01 PM
France is in the hellish group for Euro this year as they have to compete with Germany, Portugal and Hungary.
First is a big challenge already for France since they have to face Germany.
They have to win it if they want to have smooth way to the knock out stage.
Otherwise, it will be a bit harder for them to go further if they lose in the first match.

I think it is actually better for teams to fight on in the group stage first and knock out tough teams early. And then gain first seed in the KO round. We see it even in champions league,,, if you have it too easy at first, you tend to get knocked out early. See Bayern, see City, even Spurs from before and Chelsea in last season. So I think France should enjoy meeting the big teams now.
2475  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: June 06, 2021, 03:05:34 PM
People keep forgetting these companies are not run by one or two people anymore but a whole board of directors,,, each with their own advisors.
I would sincerely argue that Tesla is mostly run by Elon Musk. He does have all kinds of personnel, that is beyond doubt, but he has unlimited influence and power within the company. He also holds an usual high amount of shares at that stage and valuation of a company as he never sold any, at least he claimed that, but instead bought even more. I think for Tesla it is the case that it is mostly about Musk. Not only in public, but in reality.

You do not need to argue, you just need to look at the facts from https://www.investopedia.com/articles/insights/052616/top-4-tesla-shareholders-tsla.asp

1. He did not found Tesla.
2. Yes, he leads it, but he does not have unlimited power/influence
3. He has over 20% total stock but that is not even 1/5 and nowhere close to simple majority.
4. His salary even is approved by BoD.
2476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: June 06, 2021, 11:53:31 AM
When I told my wife that Musk bought Bitcoin she said "oh thats not going to end well"

What was supposed to happen? EM to sell his shares in Tesla, relinquish his position
and turn his 100% attention to SpaceX and Bitcoin? No

Of course not right? But now he may be pressured already to do something not quite as drastic but to clip his influence. Other people holding shares like him will not be happy he is seeming tog et distracted.

Oh,,, and your wife is a Musk fan or a Bitcoin fan? Or just observer and you are the use? I wish I had someone significant sharing my love for Bitcoin:)
2477  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: June 06, 2021, 11:02:48 AM
Euro is staring in few days and I hope we are going to see some good matches and win some bets.
Anyone noticed that Sportsbet started with new Free 6-6 promotion for Euro and we can we can get up to $100,000 in Bitcoin if we correctly predict outcome for six matches of round 1?

Turkey vs Italy
Wales vs Switzerland
Denmark vs Finland
Belgium vs Russia
England vs Croatia
Austria vs North Macedonia
https://sportsbet.io/sports/bet-free-6-6

Thank you for this, I did not notice it until now so happily put in all my picks for big wins for England, Belgium, Austria, not sure about Italy Wales Denmark but I might change my picks currently do small wins for these guys. I picked almost all losers to have zero goals too. First game so unlikely to have draws right?
2478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk cares for $TSLA, not Bitcoin on: June 05, 2021, 08:22:52 PM
This will be my final post about Elon Musk, and seriously we have all given too much attention to his shenanigans.

Agree with this,,, I think we are all giving him what he wants by discussing what he is doing. I think there is nothing wrong with talking about events, but when we start to speculate about the reasons behind it and all that? Now THAT is what gives him all the attention he wants.

He increased followers by 15% during all this BAD press too by the way!
2479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 05, 2021, 03:33:09 PM
That's why we saw Benzema back to the French team. Deschamps is aware about Griezmann inconsistency and having Benzema as striker playing with Mbappe or Dembele will make the attack line more dangerous and harder to control by the other team.

Griezmann's inconsistency is a concern but regardless of this, he's very good whenever he is in good form. Whenever he isn't, France still has a backup of good players that would fit right in considering they're one of the best attacking teams in the Euro. I watched that game vs Wales, even though greizman scored a stunning goal, I can tell that he is still not at his top form. I don't think any team in the euro would be able to keep this France attack at bay but we'd have to wait to find out.

Remember that France's problems started many years ago already. They have a great midfield and supposedly a great but always unfit or unsharp strike force,,, hence relying a lot on guys like Kante and even Giroud remember him? Now Benzema is the new Giroud, old but still reliable and in form. I think french team will be smooth in EURO until knock out.

If Adesanya loses than you will get your stake back directly in cash and not in the form of a freebet. So, in my eys, it only makes sense to to bet on Adesanya to win as he is again the favorite to win the fight.

Ah sorry yes,,, I went back to read and misunderstood. It is indeed money back and not freebet, so definitely is risk free. too bad it is only a max of $50,,, but hey either you do not lose it or you win $20.

In other words, lock in $50 for 40% profit or get it back unharmed;)
