We are talking about a nation that has 30 to 1 ratio on their currency, their finances are not great, the whole champions of the league gets like a few million euro at most, how could you build a team for just a few million euro per year? That's not enough for even one players salary, a single player makes three times that in the clubs that win the title, it's obvious that financial situation is not good with any of these teams.

Smart ones will find players, make them play at Europe as much as they can, and sell them, if you get a whole squad showing itself constantly at Europe (doesn't matter if it's conference or europa or UCL but UCL would be better obviously) then other teams will see your player and buy them, get them for 5, sell them for 15, you just made bank. Its hard for me not to feel sorry for Everton right now. Its hard to see a team get punished so badly for making mistakes with money. It feels like all of their hard work for those 14 points has been wasted now that 10 points have been taken away. I get the need for rules, but this seems a bit harsh, especially when you hear that bigger clubs like Manchester City are also being investigated in the same way but arent facing any instant consequences. Seriously, I hope Everton can get through this rough patch.

The Euro qualifiers game of few days back have some national teams their ticket to the main contest, for Group A, Spain and Scotland battles through Georgia to see Spain fully through into the contest without stress unlike Scotland who still has a game to prove herself. For Group J, Portugal confidently scaled through leaving Luxembourg behind with 5 points to meet up Slovakia which on a norms isn't likely to occur. Last season when Man City won the Champions League it looked so strong and solid, Pep Guardiola's team was very difficult to beat in any competition last season. But this season they don't look as strong as last season and we can see some of the defeats they faced in the Premier League against clubs that were far below them. This is something to consider when looking at their condition in the domestic league, although we will not try to make predictions solely relying on the quality of their play in the English league.
I still see the opportunity for Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich and AC Milan as strong candidates as teams that will qualify for the semifinals and I want to see Real Madrid who will face Bayern Munich in the final. Yes they say when you reach your peak and achieve some level of greatness, your thirst and hunger for win will reduce drastically and we can see that in Manchester City style of play, though we could also see the cause as injury on their pivot KDB and red card on Rodri, however the team still got the urge and zeal for success this season and I won't be suprised if they win the league again. For Fulham, since they lost Alexandra Mitrovic to the Saudi's, they've had some difficulties with goals scored. Unlike last season, they created chances and he was there to nod and tap in goals for em. But still, Timo Werner shouldn't swing that way too.
Personally, he's too much of a good and quality player to downgrade himself to these london clubs. Tottenham Hotspur have got no pure number nine in that squad since they lost sold Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, don't you think Timo Werner would also be a good supporting striker to Son? Son has also been rumoured to be Injured, I don't know what to believe since he said he's fine!
Werner who made his name at Leipzig after joining the newly promoted club ahead of their first ever Bundesliga campaign in 2016 would go on to establish himself as one of Germany's most-feared forwards, netting 28 goals in 34 games in 2019/20 before moving to Chelsea, his move to Chelsea didn’t go as planned as his goal tally reduced drastically though he had a UCL Winner Medal, then he went back to Liepzig. This period he rejoined Liepzig has seen him have some worst moments like reduced goal tally and also reduced play time, several Premier League clubs have been in contact and probably a return to London could happen by January with Fulham abd Crystal Palace in the race to sign him, both Crystal Palace and Fulham might not be good destinations for him but I feel Tottenham and West Ham would offer more in terms of European football and team play, Timo has quality and would surely be back on form and fire and an elite European competition should be one of his many priorities. |

Fenerbahce have really been in a good form this season compared to last season though they weren't too bad last season as they finished second. This season they need to continue in this great form and for the fact that they've been scoring more goals in most of their matches will really help them alot, for now they are in same points with Galatassary but Fenerbahce is leading them far on goal difference. Teams that tends to score more goals are most likely to win their matches because if you have good forwards that can finish well by scoring goals then there will really be chances of winning matches.
Fenerbahçe is performing very brilliant this season, they really strengthened their squad depth with several players that are experienced with major league tournaments and it's helped them to be successful so far in the league, they really tried to maintain the top of the standings up till week 12 and I believe they'll continue to top even after the international break cause their next match is against Fatih Karagūmrūk who are in the 12th position moreover Fenerbahçe would be playing in their home game. They're a very strong league contenders this season and their only threat for the title race is Galatasaray that's sharing same points with them currently, therefore they have to be very careful when they meet Fatih Karagūmrūk after the break so as not to drop points like they did when they drew against Adana Demirspor, also they need to win with a very good margin since they're leading Galatasaray with goal difference. |
