Laverkusen performance is quite good this season, both in the Bundesliga and in the European League. We can look at tables points in these two competitions, so we will see they sit in the top position. I will not talk about Bundelisga since we are in the Europa League topic but Leverkusen definitely have a good chance to win the Europa League title this season since they are very fit, receiving few goals while scoring many and they aren't real threat for them except maybe Liverpool. That said before knowing the teams that will join from Champions League here, most likely Group F, A and B (Sevilla maybe?) might have good teams, otherwise the other ones are normal ones.

It doesn't matter what kind of team will continue in theEuropa League after finishing in third place in the Champions League later because ya, Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen at this moment have good quality too. Therefore, of course Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen will still be able to compete well with teams that previously played in the Champions League. West Ham will face TSC who will definitely not qualify and Freiburg will play Olimpiakos and this is where the obstacle for Freiburg occurs. Overall we certainly understand very well how Laverkusen performance has improved this season and last season under the control of Xabi Alonso, but management must be prepared for other realities and must open their eyes wide in the january transfer window. Many european clubs want to sign their top players, so I think Xabi will have to take a stand to convince them to stay.

It would be better if Laverkusen management supported Xabi financially to further increase the depth of the current squad, because the competition in the second half of the season will be more difficult and requires balance in every line. Talking about Bayern Munich opportunity for winning domestic league or Europe League seems too early because can't guarantee with impressive performance in group stage will be easy at knock out round, learned last season when Arsenal have most consistency performance in group stage but loss in 16th round from Sporting Lisbon.

Actually I want expect with Leverkusen will be the winning in Europe League and stop Sevilla domination how most teams winning this competition, Leverkusen have been qualified to 16th round and looking with current standings they will automatically finish on 1st place in Group H.

This season was probably the worst that Ajax Amsterdam is going through. I thought that after their two wins in the league this could be the moment where they can turn everything around, but it isn't happening. The loss against Brighton and now also the draw against Almere in the last minute of the game is another setback instead of a turnaround. I believe that this season will have consequences for several more seasons. Usually Ajax is a real talent factory, but when they don't play in the Champions League, they are no as attractive anymore for young players.

They shouldn't be too heavy on themselves, to be fair everyone has bad years, and that could happen. The idea is simple, Brighton is having a wonderful year right? They are doing great, and they did quite great last year as well, so they are on the rise, and Ajax on the other hand is doing terrible, right? They are not doing all that great and their results are unsatisfactory.

So the question is simple, in five years, do you see Ajax being better than Brighton? I can see that for sure, and that is the important part. Consistency is the key in sports, and a team that is consistently good, could always have bad years, and a team that rarely ever does good, could end up having a blast season. We will see Brighton get worse, and Ajax get better.

They should be very heavy on themselves because the consequences for Ajax Amsterdam have a nightmare season weigh much heavier than the consequences for Brighton having a nightmare season. Ajax Amsterdam was the first address for many young players who couldn't yet make the next step to the big clubs in England or Spain, but still wanted to play at a club with great perspective and the Champions League. Perspective is falling apart, Champions League is history. The Eredivisie itself is by far not as attractive as the Premier League. Playing for a club in the Premier League, but not in the Champions League is several times better than playing in the Eredivise without Champions League.

Ajax Amsterdam is having a season away from its former spotlight. The players are not playing well at all. They are having one of the worst seasons in recent years both in the league and the European league. It is impossible not to feel sorry for the situation the team, which is a factory for young players, is in. I hope Ajax recovers as soon as possible.

Although Liverpool is in the Europa League but they are not Europa League candidates. They are purely champions league candidates and that is why have projected for long to be the Europa League champions.
Some people are saying that other clubs that will be relegated from the champions league will have the chances of winning the Europa League more than Liverpool but I doubt that prediction so much. Even if Manchester United goes to Europa they cannot beat Liverpool with their present condition.

Yeah but their winning will be dependent on how steadfast and consistent they will be till towards then end of the season because for now the leagues are still very much young and they still have lots of matches to play ahead, if they maintain a good form then their winning a trophy can be assured.

People here are quite interested in the Bundesliga or because it is related to Leverkusen's performance in the European League. I don't know, but it's time to focus on the UEFA European League. At least, Leverkusen are playing very well here, they always win and can score quite a lot of goals. So far, it can be said that Leverkusen has performed very well here.

What you said is also quite clear as to what I have been thinking all this time, because everyone has probably seen how Liverpool underwent this season full of surprises and quite interesting performances in the Premier League and also the European League. So I thought that it would be easier for Liverpool to win the Europa League this season than the Premier League this season, because in the Premier League there are many great competitors who are more difficult for Liverpool to face. Meanwhile, in the European League, there are no great competitors who can prevent Liverpool from winning this season.

That can turn out to be an issue when they are lacking depth in the squad, but that is the same for almost any team. I don't know many teams in the Europa League that have a squad with enough depth to cope with several injuries. But Bayer Leverkusen does have experience with injured players as far as I know because they were affected by that in the past and right now they are in great shape because all players are available. Hopefully it stays like that because they are playing some great football these days.

Leverkusen was the only team to qualify from the group phase among all the teams in the European League group stage. They finished 4 games with a win and got 12 points and now only have 2 games left for them. Even if Leverkusen lose or draw, it will not change the results, especially since they are already ahead on goal difference. Apart from that, I think Leverkusen will continue to win the remaining matches and don't want to tarnish the positive results they have achieved in all competitions currently.

Now Qarabag and Molde will be the two teams that will play it out to get second place in group H and considering that they both have 6 points, of course this will be an exciting competition to look forward to.
