I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance?

Sure, he'd be welcome to paint my house next summer, but not handling my company finances. *g*

lol yes, ok, will nobody is asking you to do your "company finances" with him ? he runs a internet T.V show on bitcoins ?  how does this have to do with your "company finances"?

Maybe, he can come paint my house also!  Tongue
Bruce is in good company with other successful convicted felons like talkshow hosts G. Gordon Liddy and Rush Limbaugh.

Rush Limbaugh was convicted of popping pills how did that effect you ?  I forget what Liddy was jailed for  either way your saying since Rush Limbaugh pop'd pills he shouldn't be allowed to use bitcoins? interesting logic  you have there ...

I am sick of the Bruce bashing going on, the accusations have already been addressed satisfactorily, any reptition is pure malice.

There is no evidence Bruce was related to mybitcoin, except he encouraged newbies to get accounts there and lost a lot himself.
There is no proof mybitcoin was a scam, they failed to implement proper bitcoin security (only waiting for 0-1 confirmations) and got exploited.

Quote from: mybitcoin.com
It appears to be human error combined with a misunderstanding of how Bitcoin secures transactions into the next block. Our programmer was under the assumption that one block was good enough to secure a transaction

The lies were created by trolls from Something Awful to help crash bitcoin and for lulz.  There's no need to help them.

I'm tending to side with Tril on this one . Bruce has been thoroughly vetted and has been found not have anything to do with mybitcoin if he has then lets present the evidence or no and go after him?  As for his mortgage fraud thing  I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance? I mean we've all  had a bad things happen to us does that dis-qualify us from enjoying bitcoin or at the very least not allow us to promote our business's?  And as Trill said Something Awful got the lulz in this and repeated this non-sense over and over here to where it seems some of our members are believing it.  I've had my past battles with SA  just look at my old threads Smiley

Side note: At one point I was accused of being Bruce Shocked

Wirtland ['wˇrtlənd] (aka: Virtlando; Виртландия; Hayalistan) claims to be the world's first internet-based sovereign country. Wirtland is an experiment into legitimacy and self-sustainability of a country without its own soil.

any thoughts?  Smiley

Hmmmm now this is interesting. Where exactly is this ?

I'm not sure. i just found out about it...

its a country with no land, once you become a citizen you can get one of their passports, vote, etc...

some how this sounds like a good idea for bitcoin...
maybe we could make similar country called Bitland, we can all be Bitlandians!!

I remember reading 'Decartes Error' 20 years ago and the story of Phinn just stuck in my head.
FF
PS. I hope this is the pre-accident version of him!

I had an accident?  Cry

"Phineas P. Gage (July 9?, 1823 – May 21, 1860)[n 2] was an American railroad construction foreman now remembered for his improbable[n 3] survival of an accident in which a large iron rod was driven completely through his head, destroying much of his brain's left frontal lobe, and for that injury's reported effects on his personality and behavior – effects so profound that friends saw him as "no longer Gage"."

Is that not where you got your alias from?

Inquiring minds wants to know! Huh ^^

2519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New habit - Do you accept bitcoins? on: December 13, 2011, 05:28:30 PM
I do the same thing. Basically, play "rope-a-dope" dumb with them as if of course you know about Bitcoin and do you accept it sort of thing.

It works brilliantly because they look it up on their own  Grin
