somebody is really buying burst on c-cex from what i can see

prices are still extremely low, it's a great time to buy, I would probably buy if I had any extra cash that I wasn't throwing at hard drives. lol

I have a few projects I'm working on at the moment. What would you like to see next?

The Miner rewritten in C
I have this already running for me, but lots of variables are coded statically into it. It needs almost no memory, is a lot faster and supports multiple plot-directories and threads. Would be Linux only again.

Graphs
https://bchain.info/BTC/diff
Here I offer a lot of graphs for Bitcoin. With some adjustments I can also add BURST.

The Overlap-Tool improved
With some server-assistance it could also show which plots found a block so far. Also it could show unused nonce-ranges.

STOP with this Linux-only BS!  Do it in Windows or don't do it at all!!!! Shocked

Hey, linux only is better than nothing only. If he can get it to work in linux, I have a friend who can port it to windows. I am looking for him now to ask.

Looks like it may be time to up the share deadline on the pool. If newcomers can't even get a share than there is no reason for them to try.

Anyone that is just joining us and is pool mining please post an approximate amount of GB used and pool payments. It will help us estimate where the share level needs to be.

I have yet to try pool mining, I am going to wait until v2 is released. BUt yea, this is a good idea, to give people an idea of what they can expect to make. Smiley

I can mine about 2 dollars per day with only 250 GB right now Smiley
very low energy cost too

I may throw 4-5 TB at the pool when they switch to V2 and allow me to use my already created plots. Smiley But I'm enjoying my solo ride still for the moment.

How is everyone liking pool mining?

I plotted 2 TB for pool mining. Getting ~ 200 BURST per block found by the pool with that. Im pretty sure it will drop fast when V2 is released.
what is v2,   I can not submit shares for a long time .  seems pool is not  working

V2 will allow people to use their Solo plots for pool. I'm sure the v1 is working, it's just you haven't found a low enough share.

Why only linux???

Se need windows too!!!!

I never developed for windows. We need someone to port them.

I know someone who could do that. Let me know and I can try to track him down.

Client upgrade was super easy.

Kill the webclient (java window) with control+C. copy and paste the Burst_db folder from the 1.0.2 folder to the 1.0.3 folder and then click the run bat in the 1.0.3 folder.

You have to reload and re-login to the web interface but that's ridiculously easy

Left my miners up the whole time. Maybe 10 seconds of down time.

Great work as usual BurstCoin

indeed. extremely easy. Burst for the win!~

The difficulty is getting much harder, with my 10+TB i'm only finding a block or two a day. This is good though! I'm glad the diff is so high!

Definitely keeping an eye on this  Grin

if you buy 2 with no psu's they are 1265. each

that is a pretty good price.

i am on the fence as to if i want to buy.

i had a 1th miner with the op and was happy with it.

i need to think it over. here is link to item without the psu

 it is very tempting

agreed, but I don't think I will jump right now.

Due to the increase in difficulty, now renting out TBs of mining power for 0.045BTC per TB for the first month (generation fee), then 0.0225BTC per TB per month thereafter. Solo or pool mining.

Just got an order for 20TB, so any other orders will be waiting a few days.

awesome, I'm stoked you're getting business. Great job man. I approve!

I have reserved hopes for the future of this coin.  Rather, I am interested in seeing how the whole field of POC coins develops, and what profit potential it may have for me.

We need a good GPU plotter program for WINDOWS!

Highly agreed about the GPU plotter, can you imagine how fast my 5x280x machine would plot TB drives??  Grin Grin Cheesy Wink

wow, such hidden premine that nobody see it   Grin  Cheesy
rabbiter, iknowyou...etc... can you show this "hidden premine" at blockexplorer ?

Yea, it's the most amazing hidden premine ever, so hidden, that the dev himself doesn't even see it. Masterful scam at work.  Roll Eyes

People just gotta try to slander good coins, because that's the only way they know how to make money, it's sad really.

one question....

I have made a ton of different plots, and I want to be able to keep adding more, however, I didn't keep that great of track (and by that I mean I didn't keep track at all, lol) of where I had started each plot, and I have a pretty large disaster of plots going on over here, I know that none of them overlap right now, but if I keep adding 3-4 TB a week like I plan, I will eventually have to add more plots on more non-overlapping numbers...

my question being... How many digits can you go up to on the starting number for plotting??? I have done as high as 8880000000_(x)_(x)

but... how high can you actually go? Can I start at something like 888000888000888000888? If so then I don't have to figure out my mess, I can keep adding zeros... lol...

If I have a limit, then I will have to figure out my mess of plots and where the free space is.

Thanks!
