I closed that deal with a small advertiser who I personally have done business with in the past over the span of a few years and he reached out to me concerning getting some promo done and supporting Viral and being a part of history for being the first to have his goods promoted through VIRAL. He committed to a basic run once the network reaches a particular number of active nodes, at a total cost to him of 2btc. The actual btc has not been collected from him right at this moment, however his commitment is written in stone Also, I personally will back his agreed sponsor arrangement providing anything would ever change that he could not send it through. The point that the 2 btc is put into VIRAL, you will all be able to have transparency on this and it will be publicly reported and proudly reported. 2btc is a small influx, however it is to be the historical icebreaker that will forever hold it's legendary position as the first VIRAL sponsor contract.

Over the past 48 hours alone, I have had an influx of people reaching out to me directly on social networks and email asking me for details on how they can promote on VIRAL, I am very excited to have people interested at this rate so soon into launching VIRAL, it just shows me really how attractive this platform is to sponsors, so early on.

My sights are set on constantly tweaking and perfecting the VIRAL platform to keep it ultra current and feature rich both server side and client side. So work going on behind the scenes is non-stop with constant ideas flowing and plenty of great advancements on the horizon.

Very nice work with the web-wallet, my friend! But why would SSL not be necessary when it comes to BURST wallets? I do not understand... Your clients would still send a plaintext/unencrypted passphrase across the Net, and I could read that straight off if I sniff the client's traffic, right?

Perhaps I misunderstand something here, but until SSL is implemented it's insecure to use any web wallet.

EDIT: I'll suggest you'd put up a self-signed cert, although that isn't "looking" too good

I think it's kinda backwards to implement anonymity with BURST, but CIYAM said it can be done with AT.

I offer a bounty: 1,000,000 BURST to anyone who implements anonymous transactions in BURST, and makes a simple enough interface for the average user.
Sure 1m burst is not all that much, and being a programmer myself, I understand that this won't be enough reward for the work, however I only hold 1% of the coins, other holders could join in, so we can make a big bounty.

Anonymity will give value to the coin, it would be a good reason to buy it and sell it, other than the usual pump and dump gamble. If you hold BURST, join me, let's pay CIYAM to do it

Just a little thing I whipped up for myself that I thought I'd share.  Enter the size of your hard drive in BYTES and the stagger size in MEGABYTES and it will calculate the maximum number of nonces you can plot as well as estimate how much disk space will be 'wasted'.  Good for newbies who don't know how to calculate this, or for the lazy who don't want to. :-)

What does it mean? Capacity for what?
Memory? Disk drive? See how this is ambiguous to a layperson?

What does it mean, or what is it? Has the bubble burst?

Algo name: Proof of Memory
Name: Driveshares

Obviously these are simply suggestions and other names may work, but the point is it's too technical for an average person to "get" right away, then it's too ambiguous somewhere for a layperson to "get" right away. Minor branding changes can make all the difference.

Burst is really cheap right now, why would you make your own coin instead of taking that time and energy and improving on Burst?

My two cents:  People don't realize why Burst and Proof of Capacity is a big deal, and we need to educate them.  I'm working on turning that paper into blog posts and I think that should help get people interested.

Proof of Stake has some serious flaws that PoC fixes.. and most people looking for a new mining method automatically figure POS is 2nd gen and the way to go and don't realize that POC is 3rd generation yet.  And let's face it, we haven't really marketed ourselves all that much.

The biggest project I think we need to stand out from POS?  Blockchain trimming.  Still no feasible solutions for a POS system.  The ASIC resistance is pretty cool too.

And @bensam1231, you have some good points!  We do need to make some of our tools more user friendly.  So anyone can mine by just saying I want to use X GB on drive X to mine, it automatically plots and mines for you from that drive. And Smart contracts were being worked on but yeah, they aren't as friendly as they could be yet.

Ha, further declining prices ... my theory continues to prove itself.

It makes sense for all of the miners on Burst.Ninja to be buying the asset or my mini version
and take some ownership and profit from the pool your mining on. Plus these guys are working
on several other things.

Burst, ByteEnt and by extension ByteEMini have a very bright future, it's early days.

This asset is simply a diluted holding of the ByteEnt shares 100 to 1.

The price will follow ByteEnt shares at the diluted ratio because its the same thing essentially.

If ByteEnt transferred into a new or some other asset, Mini holders would have ownership of the new asset
just as if they were holders of the ByteEnt. This is just a dilution of the original shares 100 to 1.

100 Mini shares = 1 ByteEnt share

I expect overtime that ByteEnt shares will increase in value and my pricing strategy will become more obvious
for example if ByteEnt rises to 400 and ByteEMini will then be 4 burst per share. A lot more affordable to the average
wallet holder.

Asking questions is always healthy!  I think if the devs wanted to scam they wouldn't have used me tbh.

A: I'm not getting paid because I do not have a escrow license.  This was a free service provided by me.  It's not a easy escrow, but I'm the type of guy who doesn't like easy jobs!  I believe if Adam & Company do this honestly it could be good for Crypto Currencies & early donors during this fundraising alike!  That is why I said yes. 

I want to be a part of something that changes the world for real & I think giving people the chance to do it with the help from others isn't a bad thing.  I did my research on Adam and if I wanted to build something like this... he'd be the guy I'd look to.  So when he contacts me... hell why not!
