Hi guys. (reward recipients for each pool is top left corner, they are two completely separate pools.)

Yes, I will be keeping both pools.

burst.ga will eventually be setup with slightly different payout system (unless we decide the way it is is good.) Originally we were going to setup burst.ga with a payout system that's better for smaller guys, or medium guys, and burstcoining pool will be for larger miners...

yes, burstcoining is still the tester pool, but it's getting same updates pushed to it that burst.ga is...

burst.ga's server is a little faster, but it's also got a lot of miners connected to it.

The only issue currently I believe is that the UI doesn't come up super fast, but the nonces are still submitted, counted, and payouts are all good. The pool's server went from 100% usage on old pool with new blocks, to less than 50%! cat's code is great!

We still have a few things to work out, and I'm sure that more issues will arise, but cat is active daily and constanty working on things for me. Smiley

please let me know if you encounter any issues, and I will have them resolved post haste!

edit: also, just so everyone knows I have pledged to donate 200k+ to the crowdfund AT devfund. I will be doing so shortly. (at the latest by end day tomorrow)

some debugging going on with burst.ga at the moment, getting the code accustomed to the larger miner count. No worries everything is fine, may be a few random outages. We're on it.

-[ANNOUNCEMENT -BURST.GA CODE CHANGE]-

I have decided to make the change now, the pool will have downtime, please bear with me during the process.

After the successful change, I will do a large bonus payout of 200k from my own pocket to the pool wallet, to compensate for buggy code.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Okie Dokie, We're back!!!

http://burst.ga:8124 (working on a redirect so port 80 brings up stats, but right now everything is on 8124) Miners are already reconnected. Everything should be good!

We will modify the settings on payouts based on suggestions from people, but for right now we have it setup the same way as the other pool. So let me know if you feel the payouts system could benefit from any modifications.

Thank you and enjoy the new code!

p.s. if your miner didn't reconnect automatically, please restart it. If it still doesn't connect, please clear your DNS cache and try again, but everything should be good to go at this point. Thank you for mining with us!

edit2- burst.ga stats are now accessible as they were before, on port 80. http://burst.ga

Thanks!

Hi Crowetic!
Why your pool www.burst.ga shows, what my account LZ8P-VN4T-WGB3-97SAB  got last payment of   367.23 burst ,at   11/02 14:06:20,
But I got only 74 burst?
Thanks,and Best Regards!

burst.ga will be moving to new code within a couple days. please bear with us. The current code is very buggy and that's why we've spent the time developing a completely new coded pool.

I am planning on moving the pool to the new code today or tomorrow. Please bear with me.

edit: I will also do a bonus payment once I have switched the code over, total of 200k in 5-6 injections into the pool's wallet. Once we're running on the new code on burst.ga

1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CELL] SolarFarm asset | Photovoltaic power station in Thailand 18MW on: February 10, 2015, 06:48:11 PM
I have a question though...

Is this farm going to be used to provide power to Thailand? Or is it going to be used solely to provide power to mine with? IF you're going to provide power for the country, you're going to use the profits to BUY coins? Are you going to be doing any mining as well? If so, what coins? Thanks!

all power to mine coin(bitcoin+burstcoin) on first 3 year
connect with grid system (use solar power on day time , buy off-peak power on night time)

year 4-25
all power sell to electricity or keep mine(if have better profit)

Cool. Just hopefully not going to dump BURST a lot until it's super solid. Other than that, sounds good. Good luck! I'll be watching this closely.

BURST needs a serious cash injection or large scale adoption for this mining to be worthwhile for me...

inject some then Wink

Also, what defines "worthwhile"? For me, I'm holding all my BURST because I can see the future, and it's bright.

if you're about mining for instant profit, tell me a coin that's profitable right now for that?

Just relax, things will get crazy soon, and you can mine and dump to your heart's content, while the rest of us hold and make real money. Cheesy
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.2 Automated Transactions on: February 10, 2015, 06:29:53 AM
USB drives disconnect... on an occasion anyways I see movement towards 200 sat territory but big blocks of > 200K are still 220 sat. don't want to overpay if I can

200K BURST is laying there at 220 sat for all day almost , someone is very patient as am I  hunting down 1 million BURST that is my target at 200 and if I can and will wait at 180 sat

220 & 224 sat will yield 350K , that is with current pace 100 Tera drives working non stop for > 2 months non stop

who the heck is selling at these price levels.. like really.. I am pretty amazed actually , only access to ultra cheap or free disk drives at high capacity maybe

seller moved closer to my threshold 218 for 200K now... lets see and moved back up to 220 but this is no profit.. it is pretty funny actually

definitely some access to free drives so then 200$ in his pocket.. but still this is no real  profit.. anyways lets see what he/she does...  as I am sure he/she reads this thread

this could be a bot actually even at 200K although that is large sum for BURST trade.. pattern is oscillating up and down 220 then 218 and again 220 not a human hand is doing this.. a bot for sure

this ain't going anywhere tonight.. bot is probing 218 and 220 sat level for 200K block.. not this time.. speak soon

love the analysis.

I am very interested in seeing this project out, as far as putting any money into it... I'm not quite sure yet... But koko, I am definitely intrigued. Good work at least thus far. I'm awaiting more. *claps*

All Yes. Reuse burst 1.2.1 blockchain Smiley

Burst 1.2.2

https://mega.co.nz/#!z8BT0BCZ!Z1MXYcVJrObMcx2M_zjHPbsMKQLxGKVqQYqh1u1etWY
sha256: 2e1a7f2d74c584e46b16b40ac8889101e44039ebcaa95a0c1b71abc9eb83a37b

All users must update by block 67000 (about 9 days from now)

This is a bugfix release mainly for ATs, and also loosens restrictions on ecblock info.

Hi dev
Just two question
Can i reuse burst 1.2.1 blockchain?
Or i need to resync all chain?
Can i reuse previous plot files?

Thanks

thank you numberT!!!
burst blockchain is becaming really fat...

nothing to do with bitcoin blockchain, but it is rising!!!

and this is a good news!!!

That comes with a question on too big to download for average user. Burst investor will eventually come from all around the world. Not every country have fiber broadband internet connection and it might deter some investor from getting into the coin. I guess one solution could be a trusted online wallet for burst , it will make using burst a whole lot easier. 500 gb database will come eventually and we better be ready before that happens

i think a good solution it is to include the blockchain folder on each new relase zip.
so, the user will need to sync just the latest few block....
so we avoid to have fork with every new version release.
i hope burst dev, repute this a valid option !!!

and/or we just include a link to a blockchain that's mostly downloaded, and have two downloads.

Might be nice to get an update today.

Why today?

Well, somewhere in the afternoon the Farm Payments will be posted, but some actual nice news might be good for morale too Wink

Farm bogus payment listing only. Never get paid. Chris a f...ing scumbag thief.

Absolutely.

-[ANNOUNCEMENT]- ByteEnterprises Team - Asset payouts/changes!

Hello, this will be the first of 2 announcements. This is the small announcement, the other will be VERY big.

We have decided to initiate payouts and changeovers for the assets related to the ByteEnterprises team. The following is what will occur today...

1. The asset named HardInvest will be paid out, the account will be emptied to the current holders.

2. The HardInvest asset will be rolled into our new overall asset which is called ByteEnt (more detail on this coming in tomorrow's announcement.)

3. Current holders of HardInvest will get a slight bonus in payouts due to money changing hands into new asset. We're just emptying the account so we can get rid of HardInvest.

4. Once payouts and transfer to new asset complete, HardInvest will be destroyed.

5. Each HardInvest will equal 10 ByteEnt (like I said, more info on ByteEnt tomorrow.)

6. There was an accidental release early, of the ByteEnt asset, and any holders currently, will be getting a payout as well, before the official release of the asset. They will also be getting a bonus by getting the asset cheaper than the release price due to our error.

Thank you! We look forward to continuing to provide services and opportunity to the BURST community. Stay tuned for the BIG announcement tomorrow about ByteEnt asset!
