2502  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Now Here: Casascius 1000 BTC Fine Gold Coin on: May 31, 2013, 04:28:12 PM
This is the REAL coin, so amazing. The only problem is that nowadays is scary to own one of these... too much value  Shocked

It was worth 1000 BTC 2 years ago and is worth 1000 BTC today

Yes, of course. In BTC is the same.... but in USD, $130k, is too much risk in just one coin, unless you're rich  Grin
2503  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: USB ASIC ERUPTER - Setup & Config. BCG Miner, cgminer, Hubs "oh my"! on: May 31, 2013, 04:14:48 PM
I'm waiting my USB miners too. Thanks for sharing the info!
2504  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 31, 2013, 02:30:03 PM
Batch 2 was paid 75 btc. Care to share your genius?

Grab your calculator, and put it in your trash !  Smiley

Let's see one of the worst scenarios:
75 BTC on FEBR-18 was x $27 = i.e.  $2025
Lets say we will not see our batch #2 ASIC's for another 2 month, and by 1 AUG difficulty will rose more then double, to the whopping 30 mln
Then, say your electricity is the most expensive of all of us, $0.25 /kwh
Finally, lets assume the terribly bad Profitability decline per year - 0.2 (would you believe this???)
Want see what we got? Smiley   after 6 month of mining >>>  https://i.imgur.com/eZSjr1i.png
& Still FAR FAR from negative ROI 's
Unless the http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ calculator is a junk as well.
But I love it !

I think batch 2 and 3 will have positive ROI, not really big but they will have. But why are you counting in USD?? You need to count your invesment in BTC, because maybe you just earn more holding bitcoins rather than buying machine.

0.2 yearly profitability decline is unrealistically optimistic. That's only x5 difficulty increase in one year. Make it 0.01 (x100).

I think that x100 is too much. You're being too much pessimist.

2506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fondamentals about why bitcoin will succeed on: May 31, 2013, 01:03:05 AM
1. Bitcoin is perfect money
2. Money talks

Thats it  Grin

BitAddict. Comprador serio y comunicativo.

Gracias!
2509  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSE] Block Erupter USB @ 2.10 BTC + parcel -> Shipping to anywhere! on: May 30, 2013, 11:53:26 PM
Can someone PM me and tell me just how you go about mining solo? Thanks
I'd be interested to know this too.  Let's say I have <5 of these things, I assume it's better to be in a pool, no?

Yes, it is better to be in a pool.

Always is better to be in a pool. Unless you have real mining power like 1% total hashrate minimum and you want to gamble.
2510  Economy / Goods / Re: Limited edition, hand-drawn design, digitally printed #IamSatoshi T-shirts. on: May 30, 2013, 12:54:41 AM
How come the price is so high? I'd pay 1BTC for all 3, unless it's super cool awesome duper hyper magical fabric.

Agree. They're cool and I want them, but 1BTC is too much.
I asked about shipping before checking the price  Embarrassed
2511  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Unión Editorial aceptará bitcoins!! Leed para más info!!! on: May 29, 2013, 11:30:40 PM

2512  Economy / Goods / Re: Limited edition, hand-drawn design, digitally printed #IamSatoshi T-shirts. on: May 29, 2013, 11:17:13 PM
I want them! Do you ship to Spain?
2513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin are like diamonds ... on: May 29, 2013, 11:01:42 PM
You can't trade with diamonds. It's a mafia.

Second, they're artifially limited...
2514  Economy / Goods / Re: 4x 25BTC Casascius Physical Bitcoins Potentially for Sale on: May 29, 2013, 01:24:00 PM
Unfortunately fake physical coins are extremely popular right now, they are all over localbitcoin and on the darknet for usually 40% of face value. I wouldn't buy any of them knowing they could easily be fake, I don't know what the coins are made of or anything but there is probably a way to tell for sure.

In localbitcoins can you buy physical bitcoins?? Are you sure? Because I think this is not possible or rare to find them there. So you should not buy them there.
BTW If you buy them to a good rep seller you will have no problem.
2515  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: May 29, 2013, 12:55:17 PM
I don't understand why all ASIC companies have so slow/bad ticket service. Is it that hard?  Huh
2516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ASICMINER dividend estimate for this week? on: May 29, 2013, 12:52:58 PM
So how does one buy a share?

You can buy them directly from Maketplace --> Auctions or Securities
2517  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: El nuevo sistema de Trusting on: May 29, 2013, 12:50:27 PM

2518  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: El nuevo sistema de Trusting on: May 29, 2013, 01:18:58 AM

2519  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 2011 Casascius coin - MS64 graded on: May 28, 2013, 11:19:57 PM
Glad you are happy with it! If you could leave a trust rating feedback for me, I would appreciate it. Smiley

That's the first I did  Wink
