I think it's a probe to test and see which new addresses are associated with that old one; when you spend that 0.001 BTC along with some of your other inputs they will become linked and they'll know that the same person that owned that old change address owns some other inputs that might not be otherwise associated with it. You could delete that change key from your wallet, or first import it somewhere else -- maybe redeem it on mtgox or something and thus foil their scheme :p

We're still around 25% returns on ASICMINER-PT...
As we get closer to what traditional investors and investments can get, will those investors require more data and transparency?
Is there a reason virtual markets would be willing to shoulder more risk for equal or less returns than traditional markets?
25% in stock price would be an awesome year for a traditional investor. 25% in dividends plus whatever the price of AM shares has gone up would be an insane return. What did you think traditional investors usually make? What does your portfolio look like so that I can copy it? It was a hypothetical question. We are all investing now because we are getting crazy awesome returns. But, this success will eventually lead to a more typical return... Different than we have now. When that time comes... That time won't come soon. With all the USB sales + new blades + increasing mining = great dividends I think we're going to break previous records this month, that's my bet    |

Tendré suficiente para cubrir todos los pre-orders Cuanto tiempo mas o menos dirias que tardarian llegar a madrid? Tienes tienda fisica en madrid o lo estas aciendo todo online? No estare en madrid por mucho tiempo por eso me gustaria saberlo.
Lo estoy haciendo todo online. Pero habrá que esperar a una segunda ronda de USB ya que están todos vendidos/reservados. Por lo que 1-2 semanas en el mejor de los casos. |

Yo opero habitualmente con Bitstamp y os aseguro que no estoy verificado. Tambien es cierto que nunca he intentado sacar fiat (solo compro, jeje).
Las transferencias sepa desde mi banco no tienen ninguna comision. La comision de compra-venta de Bitstamp es entre 0,2 y 0,5%, siempre menor que en Gox.
La verdad es que no tengo más que buenas palabras para ellos. Me han constestado siempre en menos de una hora a mis incidencias, e incluso han implementado una pequeña mejora de seguridad que les indiqué.
Bueno, se me olvidó comentar que en Bitstamp hay que estar verificado a partir de ciertas cantidades. Creo que son 1,000€ el primer depósito y 5,000€ para las siguientes transferencias. |

Dentro de los exchanges MtGox no es la única opción, de hecho es la más cara.
Para ingresar dinero y comprar BTC he utilizado tanto Bitstamp como BTC-e (este ultimo a través de OkPay) y en ambos casos las transferencias han estado disponibles de forma rápida y sencilla. Todo lo contrario que MtGox, según comentan. Y por si fuera poco el precio del Bitcoin es unos 4-5 dolares más barato.
Además en Bitstamp no es necesario estar verificado para ingresar. En OkPay sí, pero es cuestión de pocos días.
En Bitstamp si que tienes que estar verificado, pero es cuestión de 24h. Está bien esto de poder comprar a buen precio. Pero la pregunta es Por qué está bajando tanto el precio del bitcoin?
Es a causa de los problemas de MTgox para retirar dolares. Quizàs se está desinflando la burbuja de un valor que no era real para el bitcoin? Los miners estan migrando a otras monedas más sencillas de minar. O sencillamente, que la gente se está dedicando a guardar Bitcoins para especular para cuando suba de valor y la moneda no se está moviendo lo suficiente para hacerse fuerte?

Si la gente guarda la moneda y no se mueve entonces pasa lo contrario, el precio subiría al haber más escasez. Básicamente el precio está bajando por la suma de todos los factores negativos. Pero esto puede cambiar (o no) en cualquier momento. |

Yo he firmado, pero al gobierno se la sudan este tipo de iniciativas. La que pedía la dimisión del registrador superó el millon de firmas y ya veis de que a servido.  Algunos creen que en España hay democracia... Esto se sigue hundiendo. Saltemos a Bitcoin! Al menos con este tipo de firmas lo que se puede llegar a conseguir es tarden más tiempo en subirlo para la próxima vez. Que no suba, con lo necesitado que está el estado, me da que no es una opción. Ya verás el día que los políticos se enteren que en vez de sobres se pueden pasar bitcoins, la burbuja de este año se va a quedar pequeña  |
