Here my old post: I'm definitely seeing some red flags with this coin (and DreamCoin) as well. I think it's a new way to make a buck easily for the dev's. I wonder what you guys think.
1) Create a coin with a short mining period, so you can easily mine a lot of coins in the beginning
2) Publish that you have something revolutionary implemented, although it doesn't have to be true, this will raise the price
3) Sell them high before everyone realizes it's not what it supposed to be
I'm not sure that this is the actually the case. But I sold all my Liberty Coins (a whopping 0.17 btc worth, lol). I sold all my Dreamcoins. lol. You trying to get back into DRM? Sorry buddy you just sold low and will be buying back high. BTW, DRM is not Libertycoin. I really hope so! Like I said: I'm not sure... And if I am wrong about my guts I will be the first one to buy some Dreamcoins again.. but for a higher price.  Anyway, don't want fight, just wanted to tell my thought about this. I really hope I'm wrong so honest people don't get ripped off. No prob. Just a suggestion. I say get back in now or just forget about us. It'll just make you want to rip your hair out, when you see the prices later this week after the POW is over. Honestly, you can't compare DRM to Libertycoin. The Libertycoin dev hired loljosh (great, cool coin dev btw) to create the coin for him. He is not a true dev and when things go wrong, he has to wait until loljosh fixes it. Not the case here. dreamcoin dev knows his sh*t. He's also a graphic/web designer. We have no middleman. Libertycoin is like opening a restaurant when you don't know how to cook. What happens when your chef decides to quit without notice? ....and if you read first page there is NO PREMINE ....just ninja launch ..  Yeah, our dev is a Ninja Assassin Master. He ninja launched Hashcoin also. Funny thing is. I was there for hashcoin's launch and also this coin. I didn't even know he was the dev for Dreamcoin until later. Does that make me the Samurai Ninja Launch Killer? haha |

I think I'll be dropping what little BTC I have left on DRM tonight. Hopefully prices don't shoot up too much higher. I want to join the Dream Team Five Figure Club (a club I just started and I don't even have enough DRM to be in it) lol. Mining is getting crazy hard now which will only push prices higher. Guys, go mine something else for the next few days. Haha.

Atleast Dev can post a working wallet on the OP, so that people with less technical knowledge can just download and run the wallet. My wallet is not syncing and I have tried everything with my little knowledge.
Here are steps for anyone having problems: Download dreamcoin-qt.zip Unzip to dreamcoin-qt Run dreamcoin-qt.exe Go to your Users/yourusername/Apps/Roaming/Dreamcoin Close Dreamcoin and delete all the files in that directory above, then copy over your Dreamcoin.conf file Then run dreamcoin-qt.exe (You can add the extra nodes to the Dreamcoin.conf file as they are not in there yet) It should sync up just fine There is no problem with the wallet, you just need to have the .conf file setup correctly. doesnt POS start at block 8000

He stands out quite a bit from other Devs because he listens to the community. Not stuck up or a dictator. Some Devs are like, it's mine coin, like it or not, you play by my rules. Not yet. Still 3500 blocks left. Start mining! what would the price have to be for mining to be profitable? Not sure. I know there's a calculator for it somewhere but difficulty keeps changing and stuff. But like I mentioned in one of my earlier posts. I'm not mining for today's price but for what the price that it will be in the near future. Just look at Darkcoin. With the block rewards and difficulty. I'm pretty sure, it's no where near profitable to mine but look how many people are mining it. Same goes for DRM. Believe in your Dreams and it will become reality.  |

Nice! You'll be driving a Lambo on campus very soon. HaHa! There was a reason for my buy, im always on the lookout for these type of coins and the reason that struck me were: 1. Active dev with a reason to make this coin survive killing any trolls. 2. Very less supply only 1.85Mill comeon, i can own 1% of all coins with only 3-5BTCs at current rates 3. Is POS, 11x, And has a zerocoin intergration a gem in currency. 4. I would say a base price of 0.001BTC is very attainable using the formula: Bitcoin supply/ Altcoin supply divided by 10000 You are correct! I see the BASE price exactly where you put it and will eventually go higher. I think I need to step up and put in some more buys to make it to the Dream Team 5 Figure Club. I wonder if there's anyone in the 6 figure club? Highly doubt it. We need a rich list! Theres always the early miners and yea im sad noone sold to me at 8000s or even 9000s  however i wont let that deter me. No worries man. Whatever rate you got in at, you still got a bargain. Theres 16 nodes to it and that means theres big holders, for now lets aim for better exchanges and coinmarketcap Been hitting up Poloniex. No luck yet. Coinmarketcap is a given. DRM will be on there eventually and will climb up the ranks. If we hit top 10, they'll be a lot of happy dreamers. |

lol ignore him btw whats current profitabity of DRMcoin? say i was to mine with 1 mh/s costing me 0.004btc per mh/s how much in btc price and drm coin amt would it net me.
Mining at that rate would not even be close to profitable. The prices on the exchanges are so undervalued right now. You'd be much better off buying from an exchange than trying to mine. You are correct. This is a valid statement. However, people like myself are still mining because we see the potential in DRM. We are not mining for todays prices but for the price it WILL be in the near future. Dream on! |

whats happened to this pool?
I officially declare it SUCK POOL... 3 hours unable to see what's going on with miners and the coin... Now I see - time since last block found 2:57 hours!!!! Meanwhile +170 blocks found and none of them by SUCK Pool (with 1/3 of the net hash?!?!?!)... Is this for real....... I do see that it says "Findblocks disabled, new blocks will currently not show up in the frontend" It's hard to believe that they can go that long without finding a block. Also, I see I have some unconfirmed DRMs which I highly doubt would be there if they haven't found any blocks in the last 3 hours. I think it's all good. |
