2521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are alt coins profitable to mine at the moment? on: September 24, 2013, 06:11:13 PM
I am running 28 7970's and I can barely make enough money to warrant the time spent selling the coins on Cryptsy what is everyone else doing?Huh

Everyone else is doing the same as you, trying to profit from someone else. Obviously this is unsustainable, something has to give.

i've seen it. it just wasn't interesting enough for me to care about or recall a dialogue from Pulp Fiction on the otherhand, i can quote it word for word from the opening scene.

"But you know what's on my mind right now? It ain't the coffee in my kitchen, it's the dead nigger in my garage."

what is the explanation for the current price of 0.00000184btc?

I can't explain why it is so over priced.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: beaocoin great investment potential, on: September 24, 2013, 04:19:57 AM
beaocoin has been recognized by many people, their message asking me some questions, limited English proficiency, the answer is not very clear, please understand, I'm sorry

2525  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Your thoughts on a $3.00 - $3.24 per GH/s per Year Bitcoin Mining Contract on: September 23, 2013, 09:14:51 PM
I wonder if we shouldn't simplify even further.  I sign up and you just send me any extra BTC you will mine next year since the whole escrow is redundant because I am guaranteed to get more BTC then I put into it anyways.  Right?

Sounds good to me. I'll sign up.  Cheesy

So I assume OP would have no objections putting investors backup guarantee coins safely in escrow for safe keeping?

Yes with the following requirements:

1), It must be a muli-signature escrow. The seller, the buyer, and the escrow manager each hold a key to the buyer's reserves -  any 2 out of 3 keys can release funds.

2). The escrow manger must reside in the USA.

In that case I wish you good luck. Investment not for me as it involves pre-ordering. But best of luck anyway.

Current Block   1569

Block 1569 already? It's only just been announced. Doesn't sound too fair to me.

2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sad to say it but the Litecoin pipedream is over. on: September 23, 2013, 03:35:51 PM
As soon as real life physical shops start taking it (as is now the case with BTC slowly getting to front end facing shops) it will pick up in value.

Which begs the question, why would a shop adopt Litecoin instead of more established and less risker Bitcoin.

Why would a shop adopt either of them?   Better question, why would average consumers switch from instantly swiping a debit card (free) to paying a fee, waiting 30 minutes or more for confirmations, dealing with difficult and cumbersome wallet/blockchain installs, ridiculously long payment addresses and limited avenues to purchase either currency?

Good point.

If you think there's nothing wrong with OP saying give me x amount of money and I guarantee to generate a number greater then x with no risk for you then I wish you luck with your "business".

Guaranteed return. No risk.

Massive red flag. No such investment exists.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sad to say it but the Litecoin pipedream is over. on: September 23, 2013, 08:43:16 AM
do not hold your coins.

make them move in network. do something with them. create more transaction for network. gamble a bit. giveaway some. fake transfer to another account of yourself.  anyway make transaction for litecoin. use your coins.

that give you more profit than holding.

Lost me on that one.   Huh

plug them into your butt?

Risky! There is no wide lip so it might go in too far and embarrassingly have to be surgically removed.
