2541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: January 22, 2017, 09:46:47 AM
I had been a Tennis fan as well as a player myself. The way it attracts me towards itself can't be expressed in words, I love Tennis. This is the sport I always used to watch, so my interest towards gambling some money in this sports was derived by Tennis itself. I gambled $1000 on a player that I was so sure, would win the game and the result came exactly in my favor, after which I began my gambling life ahead.
2542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: January 22, 2017, 09:33:50 AM
I never take gambling as the main source of income as it's the biggest mistake one would commit. Still, if I accidentally get any of my high-odds bets turned green, I get my kids what they want, but earlier. That's the difference it makes whenever I win on something.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 19, 2017, 05:58:55 PM

In the mind of the gamblers, we are always positive to win despite of the fact that our chances is low, but who cares, that makes it more exciting to be optimistic.

No matter if you are optimistic or pessimistic, it wont make any difference at all. Actually the chances are quite high depending on how low the return that you want to get. If you wish to get high return then it is not possible to have high chance of getting it and if you wish a small return thrn the chances are very high

Small returns? You really mean what you said?
Even the smallest returns are riskiest, remember the U.S. Elections where Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump were standing against each other and Trump won in the end? Did anyone expect that result? The odds were the least and so many members, as well as even the bookies lost hard on his win.
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: January 19, 2017, 05:33:57 PM
I do sports betting where it is obvious that analysis is needed, but we can't do it in dice or other types of gambling.
That is because sports betting has real players who can be analyzed based on their previous performances while we can't do the same in other games because it won't be of any use to us as they will be based on luck only.
2545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can i start mining on my laptop ? on: January 10, 2017, 05:53:14 PM
You can check other altcoins when Bitcoin is not an alternative itself to be mined through laptop.
Still, I think that nothing may put you into profits unless your laptop's computing power is good enough and has many things installed such as high quality processor and graphic cards. Try out alternatives like rental mining, you may get something in the end of the day.
2546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a quality post? on: January 10, 2017, 05:35:53 PM
Post quality is determined based on the discussions in which you take part and how you reply to those discussions.
Only answer when you know, else do research as shorena said and you are fine.
Spamming here means taking no time and not reading and understanding the OP as well as discussion, and/or replying the same answer again and again which had been told many times. You are free to write in the way you want, but always be very confident that your reply is not kind of a copy-paste.
2547  Economy / Services / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ Signature Campaign - High Pay - Monthly Payments - Bonuses ♠ on: December 28, 2016, 06:51:52 PM
I think you should consider increasing pay rates for 15th stage as many competitive campaigns are paying high and this had been the highest paying campaign, but not now. Please have a debate on this and let everyone know what you think.
2548  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: December 27, 2016, 09:06:54 PM
Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.

May all of your economic crises be as bad as they were in 2016.

I'm calling it early: Prediction Fail

OP is GOD, man.  Cheesy
Being speculative is just another thing, but going paranoid on the price like this? [/sarcasm]
The price will not touch $10,000 that easy even if a war gets called up, but negative effects will surely be seen, and I hope there will be peace everywhere and no war.
2549  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 09:00:40 PM
OP, they need this as the security measures are now getting more and more intense with the increase in number of scams taking place at these exchanges. People blame the exchange when any such scam occurs, and so for the safety of you only, they need it which is not bad IMO.
2550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: December 27, 2016, 08:57:34 PM
I just sell my bitcoins when the price of it shoots up, but not in the hope of buying it back again as I don't buy bitcoins but either use them or sell them for high prices and use the fiat for some expenses to be covered. Holding them is not a good option IMO, I think one should take the risk and trade them as many chances show up when there is just a pump-dump show, so they can make something out of it.
2551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signed message... breaking? on: December 27, 2016, 08:53:42 PM
So i am writing with signed message question again, this time i couldn't find info.

So signed messages proves something, for example, that we are owner of wallet or account or something else(most common uses that i found on this forum), and everyone trusts it.

But what if person that signs it, lies about it? It shouldn't be hard to use tor, new wallet, and that's all. So why signed messages are so trusted?

If you are confused with like, someone can lie about themselves and scam anyone, then you didn't get the concept completely.
I think people are allowed to provide their bitcoin address on their profile as well they have a thread where they can stake their address and as long as it gets older and you gain trust, then only you will be proven trustworthy, else using new wallet and signing a message for anything couldn't get your work done if your intention is to scam. That's why you need to stay alert, and if you are unsure about such problems, you can let a third party to come between that person and you for anything, like your trade to become more secure.
2552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello! Freshly joined on: December 27, 2016, 08:49:52 PM
Hello and welcome to the bitcoin community.
Keep visiting here and be active is all you need to learn something new everyday about bitcoins, because whatever you learn today, gets outdated tomorrow and this is a technology which gets evolved day by day, so coming here and asking questions about what you don't understand is the best thing to know everything about bitcoins in more depth.
2553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Community & Decentralization on: December 27, 2016, 08:45:42 PM
OP, I think that KYC is actually needed to be done to fight cases where scams may occur.
So, giving real info is the only option to deal with those issues, which is why talking about anonymity is just a "talk" only and not going to be possible until everyone goes honest and starts using bitcoin-only websites where no such details are needed to buy/sell anything.
2554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need ebay like site to promote bitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 08:41:50 PM
It would surely let bitcoins get some extreme exposure if they get listed as a way of payment at sites such as ebay and even if PayPal starts accepting it, then I think that Satoshi's dream of a million dollar bitcoin would become true in much less time. Bitcoins should get promoted on as much places as possible, so to let it become the mode of payments and used easily everywhere.
2555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin For Flight Tickets? on: December 27, 2016, 08:36:06 PM
Its now possible!

With this: http://bitforum.info/t/bitnet-and-uatp-partnership-will-allow-users-to-use-bitcoin-for-travel-tickets/264?u=thebitboss

250 airlines? That is a pretty big number.

Anyone here already using bitcoin for flight tickets?

i had bookmarked this post, i came back to see if it's still possible to buy travel tickets through bitnet.

http://bitforum.info still does exist but bitnet was bought up by uphold : "Welcome to Uphold. The Internet of Money. Uphold enables anyone, anywhere to move, hold, convert and transact in any form of money or commodity instantly and securely. Launched in November 2014,..."

it is technically possible to build a website that allows to buy anonymously with bitcoins from any e-commerce website that exists, does it exist ?

I think that you can buy flight tickets through cheapair as I have personally used them, and my experience had been good with them.
I don't understand that how you can buy flight tickets "anonymously" through any websites, as you are needed to show your passport when boarding.
Correct me if I said something wrong.
2556  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: December 27, 2016, 08:20:38 PM
India need too much time to adopt bitcoin like China and Indonesia because here most of things control by strict government policies so they are not allowing peoples to involve in this right now  but some peoples trying to spread this which is very good signal
Yes it will take time but now I think it will grow at much faster pace because even government is promoting digital payment system.

People's trust on online transactions is increasing day by day in India hence more and more people are attracted towards Bitcoins. Soon India will also on the same track as china and Indonesia in terms of usage of Bitcoin.

They already adopt bitcoin in india to be honest they buying bitcoin plus 15% of additional to its original price if they goverment start imposing bitcoin then those people will not use bitcoin anymore. Bitcoin is easily to create transaction and can be send money worldwide with less fees not like another branch

No government would let anyone eat the whole cake while knowing that you are "stealing" tax from them through such ways out of which, bitcoin is one. But, even if government start imposing taxes on bitcoins, people could still use bitcoins there as the beauty of this thing will let them decide the price they want to sell it for, and not the government who will keep an eye just on their transactions' taxable amounts.
2557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Inevitability of Million Dollar Bitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 08:15:49 PM
That's the spirit, OP. But...

when thinking about how much price of bitcoin has gone up, it seems like a correct conclusion to say bitcoin price will be some crazier number in the future like 10K, 1Mil,... but when you think more about it you can see that some prices are still only crazy such as 1million. it is even impossible to get there. and even if someday that becomes a possibility that some day is way into the future and after way more changes in adoption.
so I think it is best if we stick to the facts and start talking about more realistic numbers such as $5000

I would agree with this, don't much expecting if the adopters will be more 20% of this planet population. The people is already planted mindset that "do not break the rules", means the government totally successful to control people since elementary school.
Although the government recently have an open innovation, like blockchain technology, it's just open to make a copy and use it for create their own currency, so people mostly will not familiar what a first thing behind that technology.

Governments can neither buy your freedom nor they can take it away, you are your own well-wisher and know very well what you want to do with your life because you are completely independent. They might plant it out, but just see the number of increasing users being added daily to the bitcoins' users list which is making it a possibility to let everyone see $1000 once again. So, when this has become possible which people were saying, that it will never go $1000 again, why not a million?
2558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: December 27, 2016, 08:10:31 PM
Many people before are talking about bitcoin will be dead soon but right now it is hard to say that bitcoin will be dead soon even bitcoin experiene to dead 100 times it is still alive and active. and i think the price for bitcoin will touch in 10k value if the price touch in 10k i think we can say that bitcoin will be die soon because of over value..
Nope, I don't think that if the bitcoin will reach 10k price it will not cause of dying because i'm sure that if that price is already reached then it means that bitcoin is very stable and almost fully developed and that high price will continue to be higher and higher. Maybe in the first few months we will encounter many dumps but soon it will rise up.

Do you really think that the price of bitcoins has anything to do with it's "development phase" to be called "developed" completely?
I think, No. The price rises due to the demand and adaption and not any different things.

investment of over $14 billion

See, that is the problem right there.  Many people here are very unsophisticated.  They can't discern the difference between '$14 Billion investment' and '$14 Billion valuation'.

Because these very stupid people can't understand these very different concepts, they just keep on buying, and buying.  Thus, we have a 'natural Ponzi scheme'.  Bitcoin offers no utility nor function to anyone.  It is simply a 'buy and hope' speculator's tool.  There is no revenue.  There are no earnings.  It is just a more inflated 'market cap' day after day.  A total Ponzi scheme.

Bitcoins are not ponzi, but should rather be called experiment here, an experiment which gave birth to something revolutionary which ended the boundaries of the world and brought users like you and me here to discuss about it, same is the case with the technology called blockchain, which according to me is a tremendous thing and it came out just because of bitcoins, so I think that calling it a ponzi is not a good way to honor its inventor's efforts.
2559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: December 27, 2016, 08:00:40 PM
I personally prefer bitcoins over fiat no matter whether they are used by any wrong identities, because when I know I am loyal on my part, I should not fear.
What should we be afraid of while using bitcoins when we have proof of what we used them for?
I use it because the liquidity in price gives me a chance to get things for cheaper, with discounts that we get just because bitcoin is in adapting phase and not too much spread.
2560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: December 27, 2016, 07:57:03 PM
Bitcoins are being considered to be the future of money, and there's nothing wrong if it is in the talks this way, because it has the power to be used as an intangible asset against things or services or whatever one wants to purchase or sell. This reminds to me the days when Gold and other such commodities were used for barter trades.
