2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: July 01, 2019, 03:48:05 AM
A group of human seems to corrupt when there are no rules and regulations. So to save law abiding people from scam we need some form of regulations in crypto. Specially in the matter of raising funds by different products. With so much scam in crypto industry, investors would vouch for regulations.
2562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware - Resurgence of previously inactive projects on: July 01, 2019, 03:43:49 AM
There has been a revival of activity on some projects who had gone cold with little to no activity on their different media channels during the crypto winter - leaving their own communities clueless on the status of these projects. I thought it would be good if the crypto-community would be more aware of this because it could be a red flag and a sign that this projects don't really care about their stakeholders.

Many projects in the past were just a made up idea to collect funds. Some did made a cheap version of what they promised for while some even didn't made the trouble to do that. These coins were still speculative in the market, intentionally increased in price and dumped from the team. And once dead they are again collected dirt cheap by someone and again start the market movements and hype.

Wow looks like the Chinese are even using crypto to gamble locally, that's somewhat exciting news. The more use it gets there, the better.

Is there legislation in China about using crypto to gamble or is this just strict government control with no oversight going on?

AFAIK gambling in China is forbidden by the law. That's why most Chinese gamblers visit Makao,I guess.
I don't see anything exciting in the news.In this case, cryptocurrencies are being used for illegal activities, which doesn't help for convincing the noobs, that crypto isn't a shady tool used by many criminals.

It's China though, the law shifts like the fucking clouds there, I'm sure Macau has places accepting Bitcoin there, I'll have to look into it though.

Macau is similar to Hong Kong a one country two systems. And is a center of gambling all over Asia and further. Macau is the largest gambling city in terms of money wagered.
Rich Chinese do come their and make their black money white legally. Some residing on border area visits small gambling towns like Mong La in Myanmar and
2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just A Simple Trick on: June 30, 2019, 08:43:21 PM
Do you realize that a few people are really dumping off certain tokens on certain exchanges and these tokens are accessible on other huge exchanges with better volume?

This is another method for exchanging and making benefits ,for instance refereum token is accessible on bitmart with low volume and numerous brokers on there are dumping at less expensive rate ,I get some with btc and send from bitmart to gate.io and I already get 15% more $$$ by selling.

This is called arbitrage trading and it's a tool to maintain equal prices on all the exchanges. It's a legal way of sure shot profit for the traders. But there are several factors to consider while doing arbitrage trading as a short time interval can make a huge difference. The exchange fees, withdrawal fees, withdrawing time, etc needs to be kept on account.
2565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep up to date on newest altcoins? on: June 30, 2019, 08:40:33 PM
How does one know which altcoins come out recently and thus are trading pretty good?  You can check coinmarketcap to see which coin has increased in price or decreased in price the most in last 24 hours or 7 days or month etc.  But besides that, are there sites that show what coins will be released soon to the public?  Thus by that i mean being able to buy from exchange like binance etc.

This forum itself is a source for getting information about new coins. I do visit several exchanges and they too provide some insights to the promising coins. Good exchanges generally avoid shady coins. And lastly it's coinmarketcap where I get the prices and list of exchanges where's it's listed on.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the crypto currency on: June 30, 2019, 08:38:11 PM
It is assumed that the crypto currency will be the future coin. Information and technology experts have already started working with the blockchain on its core. The way the internet changed the world, how to the cell phones are spreading from the house to house, spreading in the rural areas, the crypto currency will also spread. But which coin? Bitcoin, Iota? Litecoin? Ethereum? Or 'Mofiz Coin'?
It's hard to tell. No one knows. But in the next two or four years or in the future a crypto currency will must his seat. Dollar usage will be reduced slowly, EURO usage will be reduced slowly, money usage will contracted one day. People will not go to the bank, everyone has computer or mobile crypto currency wallet. This wallet will keep people's money securely. Many people said that this account is not just a comparison of the bank account. An account is itself a bank. The bank's rules, fees, everything will determine that person. And this currency will be exchanged in any country in the world. So the world will have a new look.

Blockchain is being integrated everywhere. It's been developed as a hack proof system as it's decentralized and the hacker needs to control more than 50% of nodes to relay a message. That's why it's being used in IOT, for self driving cars and for financial activities that needs auditing. Crypto would soon be all over our lives.
2567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Updated Everyday About The Bounty Project You Promoting on: June 30, 2019, 08:35:52 PM
There is an hazard I distinguish about bounties and its about bounty hunters that are utilizing different stages to advance bounty projects, I saw an old bounty project that is still fully operational yet a trick string have been posted about the project here on bitcointalk discussion yet bounty hunters still keep on advancing this project

Are some bounty hunters too occupied to even think about coming on here and do some examination? They wear the trick project signature and do day by day task and go disconnected which I think its a major slip-up

You can begin advancing a bounty project today and a trick string is been posted the following day ,on the off chance that you aren't refreshing yourself with inquires about and data sets on here you may finish up squandering your time

This is necessary when you are promoting an ICO. You should be aware of it's time period of investment, it's hardcap and softcap, it's issues and allegations and how the team has responded. It would be better to leave a scam bounty beforehand than waiting months to get nothing in return.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty conditions in the future on: June 30, 2019, 08:27:58 PM
as we saw in 2017 where the price of Bitcoin and other altcoin increased, at that time bounty was also successful, because many bounty hunter get huge income in 2017, but in 2018 when Bitcoin prices down very much then at that time also many bounty failed and made bounty hunter difficult to get income, but now in 2019 the price of Bitcoin begins to recover and returns to growth (increases), but still many bounty fail and do not provide income to bounty hunter, then whether when the price of Bitcoin really rises very high and stable (it doesn't go down again), so bounty hunter will be able to start earning income again or even it is still difficult for bounty hunter to get income? (the price of Bitcoin doesn't affect for bounty), please give me your opinion.

Though it was a brief bull run, we didn't saw any significant increase in the amount of money invested in ICOs and IEOs that proves bitcoin price is not exactly a influencing factor.
As reaching the hard cap is difficult, it would be a more effort and less income to the bounty participants as compared to in 2017 and it's not going to improve anytime soon.
Either bounty participants should accept it and continue or leave promoting ICOs and do something else for their time.
2569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 30, 2019, 08:23:51 PM
So, it's early finalization of the 4 teams competing in the semi finals. No doubt the four teams were spectacular and deserved the position according to the game they played and entertainment they provided. England surely is a better team than Bangladesh or Pakistan. I'd  love to see how the Semi finals goes.
2570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market? on: June 29, 2019, 06:41:55 PM
Nothing rules indefinately. And there are barely any records that are not broken. So definitely bitcoin would lose it's position one time in the future.
But when exactly in the future is a difficult question. As, things are rapidly changing in the crypto sphere, I believe the reign of Bitcoin would be short lived. It may be dethroned even before 2030.
2571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra Coin and Bitcoin on: June 29, 2019, 06:29:38 PM
Libra coin if allowed to be traded freely like any other cryptocoin, would have a positive effect on adoption and price of bitcoin. It's easiness of buying and getting would make people easier to enter the crypto market. And when they does, the first thing they'd choose in bitcoin. And hence the price of bitcoin would be on a rise.
2572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are you sure alt season coming on: June 29, 2019, 06:25:25 PM
At the current moment, alts seem to have a better rise than bitcoin but with every rise and fall, we see the ever rising dominance of bitcoin. Some small instances of alt rise is going to have no significance in front of the magnificiant rise of bitcoin. Bitcoin seems to be stabilizing between 11K and 12K.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 29, 2019, 06:22:28 PM
Those who think that either Bangladesh or Pakistan can qualify need to think again. I know that it is going to be tough for England. My prediction is as follows:

ENG: win against NZ, loss to India. To finish with 10 points.
PAK: win against AFG, loss to BAN. To finish with 9 points.
BAN: win against PAK, loss to India. To finish with 9 points.

The 4th semi-final spot in all probability belongs to England.
After some plus-minus, I mean doing some math I feel that Bangladesh will not win the race. However, I feel that Pakistan has a great opportunity to lock their spot at number 4 by defeating Bangladesh in their next match. England is in high risk of dropping out unless they win both of their next matches.

I'm trying to repair my rusty time travel machine to go in the future to see the exact result. Grin

I'd double that. It would be really difficult for Bangladesh to defeat India. While New Zealand and India would be both tough for England. If Pakistan be able to defeat Bangladesh, they'd easily be in the semi finals where they'd likely meet India. Though England is a much consistent team than Pakistan, they lost some crucial matches and risked their position.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: June 29, 2019, 06:14:46 PM
For most people (myself included), gambling at online casino's is a harmless pass time fun activity, but of course it can become a problem for many.   IMO, to lessen the risk of becoming a problem gambler, there are certain things i bear in mind such as,
  • Gambling for Fun - Not to Win Money  Smiley
  • Setting myself a gambling goal
  • I Bet small  (don't blow all your money at once)
  • I practice gambling with friends  Grin
  • Set time limits and walk away  Roll Eyes

Many of these are easier said than done of course but it might be worth noting.   Online gambling is probably the best thing to happen since sliced bread  Huh and i'm not saying these points could or would work for everyone but they might help in enjoying gambling in a healthy, financially sensible way.

I'm interested to know how you keep tabs and control on your gambling to make sure that one does not become a compulsive gambler or problem gambler.

I seem to be unable to control my emotions while gambling. So I had to seek help from my family members. I'd let them know how much crypto I have and where I have placed them. And possibly give them the passwords to the wallets or sites. I have limited my gambling to the bounty earnings. This way I won't be losing much.
2575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes its always the investors fault on: June 29, 2019, 06:08:19 PM
You can't just blame investors for it. No one would want to throw away there money. The amount of time investor spent on researching about the project may be different but they do look into it. And even though they did, it would mostly depend on the project itself. Some promising looking project may become scam while a less flashy one gets a high price in exchange.
2576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $12K After Biggest Daily Price Move Since January 2018 on: June 27, 2019, 05:50:16 PM
It's having a nose dive at current moment. Everyone that cashed out high were lucky. I'd again start buying bitcoin when it goes below 8K and would not sell in between 8K and 12K further. I was lucky to have sold 50% of my bitcoin while am still holding the rest 50%.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: RATING of TOP 20 BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS on: June 27, 2019, 03:25:59 PM
Rating of TOP 20 Bitcoin Sportsbooks see here: http://100bookies.com/bitcoin-sportsbooks-eng/

The ratings are fair.
Nitrogen is a fair contender for the number one spot as it's been flawless for these long years.
Sportsbet could be given a higher rating, they too have established themselves as one of the best sportsbook though they had some accusations, most of them are solved.
Their odds are generally greater than most of other sportsbook. As of odds, fairlay is the winner but it's too complex for most of the people.

2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: June 27, 2019, 01:31:36 PM
With the recent changes in BTC price, altcoin is getting weaker against BTC, so, this is a good time to pick and fill the bag. Another important part is, after BTC bullrun, once BTC get stable, altcoin follow the bullish trend.
Is it right decision to pick some more altcoin?

For some times, we've rarely seen alt rise at a better pace than bitcoin. As the price of bitcoin falls, people sees to be moving to stablecoins rather than alts. That's bringing the price down for every crypto. And that stored stablecoin would one day again end up buying bitcoins. So, it's stablecoins and bitcoin eating all the crypto.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎾🏆 Wimbledon 2019 - Discussion Thread 🏆🎾 on: June 27, 2019, 01:22:15 PM
Wimbledon is ultimately going to be a Djokovic vs Federer tournament as Andy Murray is not playing the singles. They have been the kings of Grass court. And Old Federer is still healthy and fit to compete with Djokovic. Though I'd love to see any new hero coming up to take the trophy.
