2561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: February 14, 2019, 11:31:14 AM
I think that banks are not so negative towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies like it was before. Banks are also interest in Bitcoin, to my opinion more and more, because they are aware this is another chance for their profit. Banks don't feel so threatened anymore and they are not fighting it. In fact some bigger banks are also interested for Bitcoin to be regulated and also to be integrated in their business and service for the clients.
2562  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Wisely use Credit Cards to Buy Bitcoin on: February 13, 2019, 07:21:20 PM
I think this is not a problem today anymore. Many exchanges are accepting credit cards for buying Bitcoin and services also, like Wirex. On the other hand credit card providers are not so strict for buying Bitcoin like some banks could be so you don't have to be afraid that you might get some problems or unconveniences because of that. The only thing that is tricky is commision, it's not very cheap. But on the other hand convenience of buying Bitcoin with card has its price so you have to decide what is the best for you.
2563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading bot available? on: February 13, 2019, 05:06:38 PM
I personally haven't tried it, as I only do mid-long term trading, but I've heard good things about GunBot[1].

About being the "best" and talking about efficiency, I think it depends more of how you customize the bot rather than the bot itself.

Again, I haven't personally tried it, so don't take my word for it. Tongue

[1] https://gunthy.org/

Thank you very much for your recommendation. I've heard about GunBot before but wasn't sure about it since there were many sites which offered the bot for purchase. I was confused which one was the original site, so I've stepped away from it and looked for other options instead. Upon receiving your link, I've confirmed that it's indeed the official site for GunBot.

If the trading bot is as efficient as they claim it to be, then it would be great for automated day trades. I'm looking to profit with the minimum amount possible of coins over time. While I don't pay much attention to how much I earn, leaving a trading bot 24/7 is a great way to generate passive income over time.

Nonetheless, I'll be testing this bot with Dogecoin to see how it goes. Smiley

I guess its the Gunbot that is good in terms of support. Gunthar is very active in this forum and gives update from time to time. There are also other members in this forum who can give a good feedback about the Gunbot based on their experience in using the bot. Look at this list of Bots, some of those in the list is not actually a bot but it may help you look at other options https://investingpr.com/bitcoin-trading-bot/

Thanks for the tip. GunBot seems to be the most popular and active trading bot available today. I'm deeply interested into using trading bots to automate my trades, especially within decentralized exchanges. One cryptocurrency which I believe that it's the best for day trading, is Dogecoin. It fluctuates wildly in price within a single day, making it perfect for automated trades.

Nonetheless, I'll be testing different bots among the list you've given to me. Hope to find the best one that will suit my needs. Wink

This all sounds very interested and looks like trading bots are popular, especially GunBot. But I would really like to know if such bots have helped someone to substantialy improved trading and enlarge profit? I still don't trust bots and don't think they can replace human intelligence, knowledge and capability to make right decisions in right momenta. But if you have some good examples to share I would appreciate that.
2564  Economy / Speculation / Re: I expect the market to be in green throughout this month on: February 13, 2019, 11:22:50 AM
Overall 4% of price growth in the bitcoin but still not convincing much of the people because anything less than 10% of growth is just a normal thing in crypo currencies and it will change at any moment on the opposite side.SEC approval might take the prices to  next level but not in long term effect.

I agree. The latest small increase could be ignored because actually it doesn't mean anything. This is still no sign of market recovery and has no effect or influence. I don't think that SEC approval, if even happens soon, will not change anything substantial.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can REGULATION Really Be Beneficial to Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2019, 09:28:43 AM
I think that regulation could benefit Bitcoin a lot. Some believe this would cause price drop, centralization, loss of users support but I don't think this is the case. Just the opposite, regulation could bring legal background and support to Bitcoin and more adoption, especialy by businesses.
Some say that Bitcoin was functioning even before regulation. That is true but in order to Bitcoin survive and make progress it should develope and grow further and I think regulation could help with that.
2566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do when the market goes down? This is my advice on: February 12, 2019, 07:48:05 PM
The main mistake many people do when the market falls is that they start selling being afraid of loss. But actually by doing that you could only make things worse and accumulate even bigger loss. To my opinion the best is not to react at first and too quickly but wait for a moment and see how the situation will develope. Holding in such situations could turn out to be the best decision because market will recover sooner or later.
If you have some extra funds buy more coins when the market is down this is good for your own profit and for the market.
2567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC never approve Bitcoin ETF? on: February 12, 2019, 05:00:41 PM
Its just a matter of time before they approve this thing but technically we don’t need them directly. ETF’s not the real adoption its a way to open this market for me institutional investors with confidence and guaranteeing them an easy returns.

Technicallly this approval process could last forever. There is no any obliged time frame. But I still think that people are expecting way too much from ETF approval when in theory this will not change much and it will not influence Bitcoin price to suddenly rise to the sky. But in some extent market could react in positive way on short term basis.
2568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Technical analysts becoming bullish on bitcoin on: February 12, 2019, 02:03:45 PM

Everyone wants to say "i told you so" when bitcoin eventually goes up. when that happen they can add it to their success being a financial advisor for investors. That would be a vindication on their part too. But I bet they are the ones who shall dump after they publicly speculate prices to rise. People are gullible when someone who is known says price will go up. Out of greed they will send a lot of money only to end up losing.

Yes, everyone likes to say how they were right but to be honest everyone is just guessing and they have 50% chances to be right. That is why I never rely on analysis, techical or any other. And don't forget that many are making such predictions with some purpose that is not always honest so the best option is to just stay out of it.
2569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin as a sustainable currency. on: February 11, 2019, 08:42:44 PM
Unlike many here I think that regulation and KYC could really help Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. It would give it legitimacy, legal security and framework that would make it more acceptable for businesses and economy. It's true that scams are always present and everywhere money and profit is involved, scams are also. KYC can't fully prevent and protect from scam but still it can help.
Of course with regulation and KYC rules should be done very carefuly respecting the very essence of Bitcoin and its main idea but I beleive that with some efforts and good will it could be done properly on benefit of all.
2570  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin tries to do the impossible on: February 11, 2019, 06:45:25 PM
This is exactly what I'm saying all the time. People are expecting too much from ETF approval thinking it will do some kind of miracle for Bitcoin price. But I can't agree with that, ETF approval will influence the price, if ever, only on short term temporary basis. This might cause some instant effect more or less similar like we saw the other day. So, nothing essential will change with ETF approval, this is my opinion.
2571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: February 11, 2019, 12:41:21 PM
My dad used to be an investment guide/consultant ...was discussing with him the other day and he told me something that has remained a shock to me till now.
He told me that Cryptocurrency investment is the better of the other investments.
Although people choose to be ignorant of this , saying it's risky and so many other reasons why it's not a feasible investment plan.
He went on to say that even big companies, individuals are investing heavily in Cryptocurrency.
He said something of bitcoin being the future of payment and so many other things.

So when I see people saying that bitcoin is scam ,I laugh at their ignorance.

And why are you surprised? Bitcoin is long enough on the scene to prove that is not the scam but there will be always people who will spread FUD and only negative stuff about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Still I don't think that FUD has so big influence as before, maybe only on new users and those without enough experiences. It's in human nature to be afraid and reluctant when new and different things are involved and Bitcoin is not an exception. I think you should stick to your dad opinion.
2572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: February 11, 2019, 08:38:53 AM
Well, I don't think that anyone of us can blaim somebody else for own failure in trading. Of course there are inner factors that can influence the results but in general we have to take the responsibility for loss. It's the result of our own judgements and decision which sometimes are right and sometimes wrong. We are all aware that trading is risky, profit is not guaranteed and we always have to keep that in mind. Even when the market is perfect you might lose, don't forget that.
2573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find a mentor for trading on: February 10, 2019, 07:15:51 PM
It's very tricky to look for a trading mentor. That someone would probably ask to get paid for advice and mentorship and you can't never be sure if he is really guiding you well and working for your profit or for himself. And I think there are only few people who would really like to help you because they are good and like to help others.
So instead if that you rather work on your own trading skills, learn and collect experiences, be patient and at the end you will have results.
2574  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Crypto redefine current economic models? on: February 10, 2019, 01:21:11 PM
I think this has already happened. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have already changed traditional economy models, not in large extent and not officialy but there is certainly some influence. Positive regulation would intiate further changes but it's hard to expect that on a global scale.
To my opinion economy based on.a blockchain technology is future but changes are happening very slowly and businesses are still reluctant to implement it.
2575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hesitant about investing in Bitcoin. on: February 10, 2019, 12:16:06 PM
This is the period when many are hesitating to invest in Bitcoin, that is also one of the reasons of current situation on the market. Many have lost a lot in previous investments and market is not recovering in desired way.
First informe yourself well about the Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general. Be aware of potential risk and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Also, never be greedy and don't expect to become rich over night. But it would be pitty not to try your luck with Bitcoin.
2576  Economy / Speculation / Re: new bullish run on: February 10, 2019, 12:44:56 AM
Agree with some of the views here, it is likely to be a bull trap. The spike is too big to be natural, the only way to explain it is price manipulation by someone preparing to dump the coins on Sunday or Monday

That is the right term. " bull trap". Don't be too excited. I've seen this trap before and then suddenly dump on a couple of hours. Lol. If you are new in cryptocurrency, then most likely you are smitten with this small run that happened.

It's too early to call this small price rise a bull run but to my opinion it isn't the bull trap either. I wouldn't give so much attention to this sudden price rise and I don't think that is something that is manipulated and that would cause further price dump or further price pump. No matter all charts and predictions it's too early to make any solid conclusion at all.
2577  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: February 09, 2019, 06:55:16 PM
I would avoid gambling and mining. Gambling is depending on pure luck and it's too risky. It's more likely that you will lose much more than you will win.
Mining is not so profitable anymore and cloud mining is too much connected with different scams so it's very possible that you will lose your money.
What is left is trading and signature campaign. Trading isn't easy and also carries much risk but with enough knowledge and careful investing you can get decent profit. With campaigns you can always count on few coins that you can invest further and earn more.
2578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever exist in currency notes? on: February 09, 2019, 03:56:51 PM
If bitcoin exist in currency notes, then it will be no different from fiat money.
I guess bitcoin better stay in digital form than in currency notes because bitcoin is a digital currency.
You will have a higher chance to lose your bitcoin if it is not on the digital form.

It's not only the paper forn that differs Bitcoin from fiat money so with having Bitcoin notes they will not become equal. But no matter to that I really don't think there is any need for Bitcoin to get currency notes. Bitcoin is cryptocurrency, digital money and we are having towards digital world and era so the smaller amount of paper forms we use, the better. To my opinion Bitcoin should stay fully digital.
2579  Economy / Speculation / Re: After Chinese new year BTC price will rise? on: February 09, 2019, 08:07:32 AM
I can't see any direct connection between Chinese new year and Bitcoin price. This looks to me like some artificial theory of connection that is pushed all the time but without any solid explanation.
Currently we can see some positive movement in the market but this is still far from recovery and I don't think is some sudden and big price rise that will come over night.
2580  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🔴 🔴 It's happening! It's happening! It's happening! ⭕ ⭕ on: February 08, 2019, 07:44:04 PM
I wouldn't be so thrilled, this small price rise still doesn't mean anything. Tomorrow the situation could be completely different, we all know how easily Bitcoin price can change. I admit that this is some positive movement on the market but it's far too early to say this is the new trend or that will last and the price continue to grow. This is not recovery yet, not even close but it's good that users here have shown some positive spirit.
