1821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why was $13,800 unsustainable? on: September 10, 2019, 01:29:08 PM
Guys, I suggest everyone to do their personal research and not buy the advice of different "experts". No one can know in which direction the market will move, except for those who help it move in the direction it needs. Therefore, try to read more, analyze and if you can’t guess the market movement, then just buy cryptocurrency, store it and use it without thinking about the future price.

Well, that is one of the main problems in.the community. Paying too much attention to so called experts and then making decisions based on their predictions and analysis.
For some reason users believe that someone else knows better and therefore they ignore their own experience and information.
Don't bother with predictions, they will not help.
1822  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: September 10, 2019, 11:09:16 AM
how can we do banking with bitcoin? if we can be the bank on our own wallet?
Unless Bitcoin has its own value on the bank and once deposit it converts to  FIAT right away!
But if we will just be having a bank to store bitcoin then what is the essence of that?
Remember that banks has their limit on paying customers if they declared bankruptcy and we dont want to be on their line.

I think that Bitcoin or better to say crypto banks will appear sooner or later. They will be specialy regulated and they will offer crypto related services. The market for such services stil exists but there is no adequate regulation and the risk is still too big that is why banks still hesitate.
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US Government Trying To Control Crypto? on: September 10, 2019, 06:15:33 AM
I have the feeling that Bitcoin users are a little bit too concerned about government influence. Many conspiracy theories appear but the whole story is just exaggerated.
Of course that governments would like to have under control something that might influence the economy and society in general that is why regulation is proposed. But don't forget that Bitcoin is based on decentralized and independent system and regulation doesn't necessary mean control in sense that is stated here.
And From the published news I don't see any intention of US government to control crypto.
1824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crypto exchange friendly european banks on: September 09, 2019, 08:08:06 PM
For now, you may not get much crypto friendly banks because the use of cryptocurrency does disrupt their own operation to an extent and I am sure that they have not really factored in how they can collaborate with cryptocurrency and their own tradition fiat or way of banking.

It does not even bother me if we have any bank that is interested in cryptocurrency services at all, because my wallet now serves as my bank and if I need to exchange any money from my wallet into my traditional bank account, all I just do is to use specialized agents, that is local exchanges, and they are the one that I have been suing for a very long time now which they have been  very useful and very reliable in making y cryptocurrency transaction easy for me when it comes to exchange between fiat and cryptocurrency.

I remember there was a service discussion topic which sounds similar to you. Let me dig if I am correct.

Maybe it's hard to find  crypto friendly banks openly but I would say that many european banks, especialy in countries like UK, Germany or Austria, would close one eye and not react in negative way or froze your account.
I.think that banks would like to make business with cryptocurrencies, they just lack regulation.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners in Hong Kong protests? on: September 09, 2019, 01:15:11 PM
I'm not sure about it. Looking in the past bitcoiners showed to be more silent community and not particulary socialy or politicaly engaged. I'm not saying they shouldn't be, just they didn't show such face so far. Also, I'm not sure this would be clever idea that would have positive impact, not in current situation.
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: Global economic and trade crisis on: September 09, 2019, 09:18:56 AM
As individuals there is nothing we could do on global level to prevent the crysis. And it will come, sooner or later no matter that some deny it.
What we can do is to prepare ourselves, both in fiat and cryptocurrencies aspect. Accumulate funds and don't take necessary risks. Split your investments as much as you can and make sure that your assets are always accessible. Expect the worse, hope for the best.
1827  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 09, 2019, 06:42:26 AM
I can't beleive there are still people who think that Bitcoin price can be predicted. Since no one has cristall ball that isn't possible.
By using different analisys, past trends and experiences you can try to guess the direction where price might go. Exact values can't be predicted otherwise everyone would be rich by now.
1828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales Every time change the market?? on: September 08, 2019, 06:59:19 PM
Whales are given too big influence compared to those they really have. If they really can such power that would mean they controll the market. And Bitcoin is decentralized and independent, right?
So, to my opinion they can influence market in some very limited scope.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: September 08, 2019, 05:52:44 PM
Why would I be exicted? There was some curiosity at the begininig but I think that Satoshi, whoever he/she is, has the right to privacy and not to ever reveal identity. Besides, what would anyone of us get with this?
And I don't ever pay attention to anouncements that appear every now and then that some "new real" Satoshi appeared.
1830  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: September 08, 2019, 12:22:36 PM
I think that we already have too many coins. Only few of them have the potential to survive at the market. Although the competition is good the flood of different low potential coins will not do any positive change.
Still we have to understand the context and the moment when many thought cryptocurrencies are the way to get rich. But with time some kind of selection will happen and I think that only the best coins will survive and not so many new will appear.
1831  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought a bitcoin today for 9K and sold when it hit 10K should I Of left it? on: September 08, 2019, 10:38:24 AM
To my opinion you sold it too soon. Ok, that was maybe a short term profit but on long term if you really want to make some serious profit this wasn't a good decision.
Of course that you can't predict what will happen with price in near future but if you want to become a serious investor you should have a strategy and much broader view on the market.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile-to-pay - facial payment technology in China on: September 08, 2019, 06:35:13 AM
There's like 100% chance that China is doing this to harvest even more data for their facial-recognition surveillance system, currently they mostly rely on camera, but this payment method would allow them to get accurate daily data for users tied to all their KYC data. I won't be surprised if this facial payments comes with some incentives like cashback, better deals on loans, higher credit score and so on.

Yes, this could be the case. It's the clever way how to get dara from people offering them different convenient services. Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable with facial payment system.
And it would be interesting to know for how long and in what purposes would authorities keep that data.  In.Europe because of GDPR something like that wouldn't be possible.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 07, 2019, 11:03:55 PM
This is just irrational fear, Bitcoin will not get banned. Some think that many governments are against Bitcoin but that is not true. In most cases they are trying to find the best way to regulate it because they don't want to disturb fragile economic systems that are highly regulated
World is going towards cashles society, artificial intelligence and super computing so in that contex Bitcoin will certainly not be banned.
1834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 07, 2019, 06:24:46 PM
To my opinion there is no unique receipe for everyone. Each individual has its own goals and experiences but still there are some general gidelines that could help in efforts to become successful trader. First of all knowledge about cryptocurrencies and the market, how the system is functioning. Then ability to react and make decisions quickly but in cool head and to control panic and emotions. Setting the realist goals and not to hurry to get profit over night.
1835  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: September 07, 2019, 11:52:37 AM
I believe that the Bitcoin blockchain has very little bandwidth.  If you solve the scalability problem, it will attract a lot of investors and users who can use Bitcoin and blockchain for financial transactions with large amounts of funds.  Big business may also be direct investors, but due to problems with scalability, this will not happen in the near future.

I agree, that is also one of the reasons why there is no bigger price rise. But the problem of scalability isn't something that will be solved any time soon so we can't count that solving that issue will encourage the price.
Current Bitcoin value is reflection of market conditions and unreal expectations would not change anything for better.
1836  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency users statistics on: September 07, 2019, 10:57:24 AM
Cryptocurrency users statistics:
The experts of the marketing agency BDCenter from Belarus analysed the work of the 30 most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.
See more: https://www.xmlgold.eu/en/news/article/782/cryptocurrency-users-statistics/
I just read the article and realised that the top users are also from the world economic or political powers such as the US, China and Russia. This is also due to the level of awareness and technological advancement which the citizens have taken advantage of too. You won't expect people from poorer countries to have easy access to such information and technology.
And I think male domination is greater than 70% because honestly I still very rarely find female traders, 10 of my friends who joined crypto were only 1 who is woman, maybe it could be interpreted as only 10% of the number of women in crypto. and I'm not surprised if Russia and the USA are the most users because they are very welcome to technological developments such as crypto

That is true, men still dominate in crypto world but despite that I would say the number of women traders is bigger than represented. And I say that because I know that some women traders take male identity to be taken more seriously and to get trust easier.
Women need to be more encouraged to enter the crypto world.
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you can be the richest man in the world if you travel to 2013 time machin on: September 07, 2019, 07:08:26 AM
I was already involved in bit in 2013. It was quite different from now, Bitcoin was stil at the begininig and the community was rather small.
I had few coins then but didn't keep them long enough, like until 2017, to get really big profit and I sold them sooner.
But no one could predict then how strong Bitcoin will grow so there is no use in regret. You can't live in the past.
1838  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC defeated in 2019? on: September 06, 2019, 07:08:09 PM
It's so funny how opposite thoughts people have about Bitcoin. Some said that 2019 will be revival year for Bitcoin, the next best after 2017 and some say that in 2019 Bitcoin will be defeated.
Although the year is still ongoing we can easily say that is neither of these happened and probably will not.
Bitcoin will not reach 20000$ this year but  also no other coin will move Bitcoin from the throne. And neither of these will not happen any time soon.
1839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad time to get into daytrading? on: September 06, 2019, 04:19:41 PM
Daily trading is not for traders with lack of experience, that usually ends up bad. It's one of the most demanding forms of trading and demands a full dedication. Better to be well prepared and learned enough than to be sorry at the end.
1840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another *Potential* Identifying Piece of Evidence on Satoshi on: September 06, 2019, 02:12:37 PM
Just let the man be. I totaly understand that he doesn't want to reveal his identity and probably anyone of us (smart enough) would do the same at his place. Just imagine what kind of life would that be if he revealed his identity. That is why I don't believe to any of these so called evidence that he is identified.
