1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 14, 2019, 04:51:04 PM
To my opinion holding always refers to long term and by that I don't mean couple of months or a year but real long term period. Everything else would mean you want to get quick profit in short period of time and that is not for Bitcoin is best for as an investment.
But holding isn't for everyone because not every user has enough patience to hold long enough to get over price corrections and earn decent profit. For that it's important that you invest funds that you don't need and which you could just forget about for a longer period of time.
1682  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you expect about next move of bitcoin? on: October 14, 2019, 02:13:39 PM
You can't exactly say how the market will behave and move, that is the beauty of Bitcoin.
Having in mind recent behaviour I don't expect some bigger changes. Some corrections that will happen along the way but no.major dip.
Despite some wishful thinking I don't expect significant price rise either so until end of the year price will stay more or less in the same range.
1683  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money Losing Worth, Bitcoin and Gold Getting Important on: October 14, 2019, 01:17:35 PM
It's just an phase in fiat currencies cycle but on long term they will not lose so much value that cryptocurrencies would become more important for people.
We all love cryptocurrencies and respect their advantages but let's be realistic and admit that they will not replace fiat and they will not become more important than fiat currencies, that is the reality.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto on: October 14, 2019, 03:54:15 AM
I think that those who are really wealthy in Bitcoin will never reveal their true identity and that is wise thing to do.
Also, every bitcoiner needs to know that getting rich with Bitcoin isn't easy thing to do and that there are only few people who really made to do that. But that shouldn't be the main goal because Bitcoin isn't the tool to get rich over night.
1685  Economy / Economics / Re: Can virtual wallets be confiscated by courts? on: October 13, 2019, 07:43:58 PM
These wallets have to be placed somwhere, they need to have some provider who has the obligation to provide requested data to law enforcement and other authorities.
So, the answer is yes, for the needs of criminal procedure or other legal mather wallets and funds they contain could be confiscated.
But of course that also depends on the legal system from country to country and how are cryptocurrencies and crypto services defined and regulated.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 13, 2019, 06:26:10 PM
It's a well known fact that Bitcoin price is volatile and changes both ways, up and down. So you can't expect that the price will always be in your favour.
People who are worried all the time about the price are usualy newbies without enough experiences or those who invested a lot, at high price, usually beyond their possibilities so they are afraid of loss they will be not able to cover. I guess those categories will always exist.
1687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top bitcoin trading strategies on: October 13, 2019, 04:21:12 PM
well, nowadays i choose trend trading, since be holder its not too much work for me.
and also following trend can follow the latest developments directly, make us up to date.
although, some of the trend predictions can be deceptive, but its no matter if u calm fcking down.

It's important that you don't use only one trading strategy. You need to adjust according to the market and your current position. Good traders are flexible enough but know what works best for them. You can't copy just one trading pattern that might be good for someone because that doesn't mean it will work for you too.
1688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we looking at Bitcoin down to $5K? on: October 13, 2019, 12:36:01 PM
I don't think so, the market is recovering again slowly, so BTC price is also expected to go up again during the next coming months. The actual price is a bit above $8k and it is going up, so it is hard that it will fall below $5k, in the nearest future at least.
However, it is still a good time to buy BTC, at the actual low rate, to make bigger profits soon when the price increase.

I agree that it isn't realistic to expect such big price drop although some corrections are possible.
From time to time market shows signs of recovering but still we are missing continuous growth so in fact price is moving back and forth all the time. To my opinion such situation will continue until the end of the year without some significant changes.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 13, 2019, 06:56:06 AM
Holding is always meant on long term. And that is not six weeks or six months.
Still everything depends when amd on what conditions did you get your coins and what is your final goal, so it's individual. Of course there is possibility that meanwhile the value will drop but in some moment it will also recover.  But many users don't have enough patience to hold their coins long enough and then holding turns into loss instead of profit.
1690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Community With No Libra, Bakkt, ETFs and Institutions on: October 12, 2019, 06:10:12 PM
I put very low emphasis on Libra. It is just a centralized, stable coin, backed by garbage fiat currencies. Bakkt and ETFs are good for fundamental value and for building the financial infrastructure for people to invest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Of course that ideally we need a decentralized exchange, not a centralized one, but in order to gain mass adoption of BTC people need to trust the it & unfortunately the majority of population need to see some kind of regulation behind a currency to put their hard-earned money in it. Or.. if I think deeper.. maybe we should change this mentality.

Everyone iis crying out for decentralization but like you said we need to think deeper. Things are changing and developing very fast, cryptocurrencies have made a big progress since they first appeared but still majority people don't trust them. I agree that regulation is the way to beter trust and adoption, especially by the businesses. So, yes we need to change the way we look at cryptocurrencies and their role in financial and economic world.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down on bitcoin again on: October 12, 2019, 03:59:09 PM
Government don't like cryptocurrency because decentralized.
So Alipay is a product from Alibaba, where we know Alibaba is company with controlled by government.
There government also communist.
So i am not suprised they also want Alipay block the Bitcoin. I hope cryptocurrency will get heart from their government.

It's kind of logical development of situation. We are all aware that there are actually no true private companies in China, everything is contolled by government, this way or another. So China wants to continue its "war" against Bitcoin through Allipay. But I'm not afraid this will affect Bitcoin negative or have some more significant impact on global way. But it will affect Alipay users though.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: October 12, 2019, 10:53:02 AM
In every market, there are what we so-called whales. Whales are the one who manipulates the price so basically they have control over how the asset/coin is moving in terms of price. When a certain asset or currency is being traded it is sure that there are a team of rich persons who are controlling it, nothing in this world is not getting controlled Smiley

If you claim that whales manipulate price and control the market than Bitcoin is not decentralized and independent. Those two claims are opposite with each other.
To my opinion whales is given far more influence than they actually have so I still beleive that Bitcoin is decentralized and not under any systematic influence.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2019, 07:24:31 AM
There is still no crypto bank where you could put your coins for savings and get some interests.
So only solution is to lend coins to someone. There are some people who are lenders and make quite good profit from that but still it's a risky business and interests are not that big.
1694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 11, 2019, 09:32:17 PM
That depends on personal perspective. For some traders with bigger volume it isn't so important but for those with smaller capital it is. Fees are something that you should always calculate in he summary. I guess even worse are withdrawal fees but like I said, these are inevitable facts that you should always have in your mind. But if you are so dependant on fees maybe trading isn't for you.
1695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get into the $8600 Zone? on: October 11, 2019, 06:06:51 PM
It seemed we are finally over that Bakkt bear time, I mean it all depends on where it will go from here but at the end of the day we broke the trend and thats what matters to us, if the price kept going down and up around the same price it would have been a boring period but we broke it and now we are above.

Bulls should be coming in any moment now, I am expecting another $10k+ soon, and I mean really soon, like a week from now we should be at around $10k. People do not realize the importance of breaking the trends upwards, all the increases in bitcoin world happen right after we moved above the trends, no exceptions, which means bitcoin will once again go to a high price if history repeats itself. I wouldn't mind going above $13k as well once again but I am realistic and say $10k is enough.

Very optimistic prediction. Having in mind past Bitcoin behaviour I would say that we are closer to.another correction that pump to 10000$ or more. To my opinion price will continue to fluctuate until end of the year and I don't think that upper level will be 10000$ max and that is at current moment optimistc prediction. Bakkt doesn't play any role in it, not positive or negative.
1696  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: October 11, 2019, 01:52:07 PM
Will be bitcoin following the same path of 2017, last 2017 on this month bitcoin look stronger and have higher price about above $10k and keep raising up until November 2017 where raise the higher price to $15K, I am happy if bitcoin following the same path with 2017 and bitcoin back to higher price following by altcoin.

This might look as a same pattern but don't forget that at the end the same scenario doesn't need to happen. Don't make analisys and decisions based on only one source of information or one pattern and not the most favourable one. At the end you might get very disappointed.
1697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to $20,000 before 2020? on: October 11, 2019, 12:14:55 PM
I think that by now everyone is aware that this is not going to happen. Looking at the market analysis and patterns it's easy to see that is not going to happen, no matter that Bitcoin could be full of surprises.
Also, for price of 20000$ we would need continuous and fast growth starting now but it's much more likely that we will experience another correction.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tobacco shops - the way to Bitcoin adoption on: October 11, 2019, 10:33:02 AM
I'm not sure that tobacco shops are ideal for increasing Bitcoin adoption. This is relatively snall volume but smoking is not so popular anymore and in many countries there are legal restrictions about smoking. Also, tobacco.insistira isn't very well welcomed in some countries anymore so this doesn't seem to me as a good way for Bitcoin promotion.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 10, 2019, 05:54:04 PM
It seems to me that this issue needs to be approached more seriously and carefully, from the point of view of the practical transition of the state to cryptocurrencies today.  We all know that the national currency of any country grows only if there is significant progress in the economy and GDP grows in the country.  But if we are talking about cryptocurrency and that the state completely switches to cryptocurrency, then first you need to have a more stable cryptocurrency market so that cryptocurrency doesn’t bankrupt states at all, because in one day the price may be higher, and after 10 days, the country's cryptocurrency assets will fall in price by 100% or 1000.

No country in the world will switch completely to cryptocurrency because thus it wouldn't be able to maintain financial and economy system. Cryptocurrencies can't save anyone, so african countries are not exclusion. Cryptocurrencies can be kind of alternative and be used together with fiat currencies but you can't rely only on them and no country could profit from that.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to miners when Bitcoin limit supply completely mined? on: October 10, 2019, 07:03:42 AM
I think that every miner is well aware that Bitcoins will be completely mined one day so there will be no surprises. So it's logocal, there will be no need for miners no more in that narrow sense but people still will be making transactions so their share of profit will be stll available for them
