1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy using Bitcoin on: September 30, 2019, 09:33:35 AM
Safety and security in online world is overal problem, not just question related to Bitcoin. Therr is no absolute security and you can't fully rely on providers and services, you have to protect your data and your wallet on your own. You can't pull back Bitcoin transactions so.you always need to double check everything.
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 29, 2019, 07:27:29 PM
Fiat currencies will not be eliminated. Dreaming about cryptocurrencies to replace fiat is pure utopia.
Traditional financial.and economic system is based on fiat and it will stay so. Cryptocurrencies don't have the potential to carrey out economy and financial system and can't give it stability that is needed. But I guess only few crypto users don't realise that fiat money will stay dominant.
1743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallets on older iphones are insecure on: September 29, 2019, 05:12:24 PM
Every phone, older and the last issued could be vulnerable to different threats. Don't expect that manufacturers will protect, it's up to you and you only have to protect your phone and your data.
Also, it's not very wise to keep important personal and financial data on your phone because absolute security and safety can't be guaranteed.
1744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 29, 2019, 12:19:01 PM
I'm not against regulation of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Many are afraid that this might ruin Bitcoin and it's essence but I don't think so.
To my opinion regulation will protect Bitcoin users and define what is legal or not. Also, this might attract more businesses into Bitcoin because it will give them a legal framework and security. Regulation of Bitcoin might also open the door for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies into traditional economy system.
1745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 29, 2019, 06:37:23 AM
No, Bitcoin will not reach 20000$ this year, such predictiom is too optimistic. If it crosess 10000$ again that will be success and that might happen closer to the end of the year. Having in mind current conditions im the market 20000$ is not likely at all and also there is so little time left so price should rise very fast all the time and that is not going to happen.
Don't expect to see 20000$ as a Christmas gift.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine wants to legalize crypto (again) on: September 28, 2019, 11:18:36 PM
I am living in Ukraine and I can tell you that the cryptocurrencies are very well accepted here , you can find stores where you can buy and sell using Bitcoins also at the same time you can in person make the deal regarding your cryptocurrencies and such , so the people have already accepted it more or so , the government have changed a lot , the new president is open about everything thus I think it will be easy for the cryptocurrencies to make a place in Ukraine .

That sounds good and government is probably aware that cryptocurrencies are well accepted. They realise if they fully regulate and legalist them that could contribute to economy and further development. Maybe government sees the cryptocurrencies as the new tool for progress.
1747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: September 28, 2019, 08:35:35 PM
I'm not so convinced about that 12 Bitcoins just in one month. And even if you managed to make that much don't expect this will last and that you will be able to make such profit all the time.
To quit steady job because of Bitcoin is very risky decision and actually only rare traders can make for the living only with trading so don't get too much under influence of beginners luck.
1748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin cross 3K USD this year? on: September 28, 2019, 06:38:48 PM
I can't see the reasons why would Bitcoin price fall so deep. Some more corrections will happen, that is what we can expect but I don't expect to see some major dump, not that price could fall below 6000$, that is my worse expect ation. Even if that happened it wouldn't be over night but after that the price will not recover so soon. So don't expect that you will buy Bitcoin at 3000$ or less at one day and sold at 10000$ the next.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NASA to Launch Bitcoin to the Moon? on: September 28, 2019, 05:50:09 PM
I think NASA would more be interested in blockchain technology than in Bitcoin itself. The fact that they are looking to hire cryptocurrencies experts doesn't necessary mean they will deal with Bitcoin itself although it's very possible. Anyway it's good promotion for cryptocurrencies in general that such respective angency is looking for experts on that field.
1750  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 27, 2019, 11:16:08 PM
Cryptocurrencies do not represent a threat to governments and majority of them doesn't even think so. The thing is that they don't want to stop the progress that cryptocurrencies represent but they want that to be under certain conditions and one of them is regulation. In.modern societies everything is regulated in a way according to some rules in order to functioni properly within.society so cryptocurrencies are not exception.
1751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Compare Your Trading ideas with others ? on: September 27, 2019, 04:23:35 PM
The main mistake that some users often make is to think that some strategy of successful trader will be good for them too.
It's good to share experiences but what works for one doesn't necessary be the best for other because everyone has its own possibilities, limits and goals. So sometimes you could be mislead by some trading example that doesn't necessary work for you.
1752  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: September 27, 2019, 01:15:22 PM
I wouldn't say that cryptocurrencies with volatility can't be used as a money or payment method. They can but because of volatility the risk is high and you actually don't know exactly how much you should pay for something because the referal value is always in fiat.
That is the reason why businesses are not very willing to accept crypto as a payment because they could face potential loss and whole payment process is more complicated.
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: September 27, 2019, 07:39:12 AM
Conspiracy theories again, I really can't understand you people. Every time when the price goes down some dark forces are to blaim and it's funny how we don't see such theories when the price goes up.
It's just price correction that is part of volatility process and probably conditions on.the market that lead to this correction. For some longer period of time we had relatively stable price then slight rise and now it droped. And this has also nothing to do with launching of Bakkt, it's just time coincidency.
1754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Be careful of Bitcoins giveaways that are too good to be true on: September 27, 2019, 05:13:44 AM
It's such an old story and I can't beleive there are still people who fall for this, it's obviously a scam.
There is no such thing as giveaway but I guess that people's greed will always be stringer than common sense. There is no such thing as free lunch, don't forget that.
1755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dropping - Are You Scared? on: September 26, 2019, 05:49:58 PM
What a heavy word is used, why should anyone be scared?  It's a price correction, nothing unsual that we haven't already seen before and that is not happening all the time.
I'm involved in Bitcoin since 2013 so I guess that there is nothing that could scare me related to Bitcoin.
Probably many expected price to go up and not such scenario with price fall so probably a panic gets them although there is no reason for that.
1756  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial crisis 2.0 - What will happen to bitcoin in the next crisis? on: September 26, 2019, 09:26:52 AM
I don't think that Bitcoin will be directly affected by crysis since there is no link with traditional financial system. However, because of crysis demand for Bitcoin might increase because some people will try to find safe haven in it and thus the price might be affected. But this is just a theory and what exactly happens it's hard to tell.
1757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: September 26, 2019, 06:45:11 AM
I'm not sure about that. It might have positive impact on.price but only on short term and I don't expect some significant price rise.
Some expected much in that sense of Bakkt and since the price didn't grow now they have similar expectations from halving but they might end up equaly disappointed.
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: September 25, 2019, 09:06:08 PM
For me Bitcoin has a practical use in everyday life. Besides investment I use it as a payment method through Bitcoin debit card, so for everyday needs. I guess that is up to each individual what use of Bitcoin suits him the best
Regarding harming economy that is very hard to estimate become nowhere Bitcoin isn't yet formaly introduced into economy and financial system. If you think on fact that people still use it besides these legal financial chanells that might have an effect like unregistered economy but that is so small percentage that actually doesn't have significant influence.
1759  Other / Off-topic / Re: HOW TO protect yourself from DNS hijacking? on: September 25, 2019, 04:55:00 PM
To keep the hygene of your device is very important, in.sense of antivirus, regulate update, trusted source software and similar. To use OS like Linux might also help. There is no way to get 100% protection but you mustn't neglect  all possible ways to secure yourself.
To my opinion user awarness is still very low and that is why we have so many successful cyber threats and attacks.
1760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst: Bitcoin below $ 10,000 is a gift! on: September 25, 2019, 09:02:41 AM
I can agree with that, it's a gift because it's great opportunity for buying. Currently the price is something above 8000$ but there is possibility to go under 8k barrier and I don't think that is bad. Although many are very disappointed because they've expected just the opposite, new price rise with Bakkt launching.
At the moment it's only hard to tell how much lower price will go and for how long is going to stay there.
