2561  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: July 28, 2019, 07:07:32 AM
Upon reading sa local board natin, yes, hindi pa natin need another merit source for now.

Thanks for understanding and supporting it.

We should foresee those kind of things kasi hindi naman talaga tayo nasa isang permanenteng sitwasyon. Everything can changed as @theyoungmillionaire said so we can use this thread as a basis kung sino talaga yung sa tingin niyong responsable at reputable member ng local board. Actually, kaya ko rin naisip to ay para ma-avoid yung merit circulation within sa trusted people lang. So ayon, balang araw makakatulong 'tong thread na to for the betterment of our local board.

Dami ko pala stock na source. Ayan, nagbigay muna ako for today.
joke lang, hindi ako merit source

Paambon.  Cheesy
2562  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [TUTORIAL] Paano gumawa ng SIGNATURE using BBCodes on: July 28, 2019, 05:17:24 AM
I'll still look for another way, baka meron way para ma-bypass yung mga ganong codes.  Wink
I appreciate what you are trying to do. Maybe you can find a way or something.

I admire you for creating and your future update with the Independence Day signature. I can't wait for it to be seen.  Cheesy

Sorry for the late response, Thanks for appreciating my work.  Cheesy

This thread has a unique example and discussed briefly where you can understand it easily. So I'll gonna bump it.
I'm also accepting some questions regarding BBcodes.

Hope to see more bounty hunters like you. Smiley
I am one of them.
I was a Junior Member when merit system activated, and now I have nearly reached the Hero Member rank. That's what I did not imagine in Jan. 2018, honestly.

Well, most of us have been through in bounty hunting while gaining knowledge in here. I'm a Full Member when the merit system is implemented and honestly speaking, not all of us are gifted with amazing skills to receive those merits in just a few time. It took me at least 8 months to become a Sr. Member and now in my road to Hero Member, it will take a year. It's not a race, it's all about the experience you're getting even it takes a lot of time to reach your goal.

Trying to spend a little money to use hardware wallets

Hard wallets are very expensive though and they're just only starters in bitcoin. I would like to recommend a local wallet if your country has one. Here in my country, the common wallet that we're using is Electrum and coins.ph. When segwit BTC address is needed, electrum is the platform that we're using. We're also using coins.ph to withdraw and deposit, we can also but bitcoin in there. Through our local wallet, the platform has the ability to send digital money with no tx fee if we're both using the same platform.

If you're a huge investor, escrow, holder of the company then hardware wallets are really recommended for security of the cryptocurrency.

But you dont hardly get any merrit here Not talking about BTC

It's better to give merits to those extraordinary informational threads than a common post for discussing BTC. Every topic in the Bitcoin discussion is mainstream and considered as a mega-thread. Most of them are ordinary and every people in here can actually give those kinds of statements, nothing special. Here in the forum, everyone can talk about BTC and you can acquire that knowledge by spending a little amount of time for searching it in google. There are no concrete statements that might help others, sometimes it's just full of opinions without a basis.

..and dude this might help you.. click here.  Wink
2569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My mindset vs. Mindset of people around me. on: July 27, 2019, 04:55:58 PM
If your income in crypto has a better income than working 8-12 hours every day but there's a huge risk on what you're doing. Since they wouldn't understand how do things work then explain it to them. It's the right time for engaging the people around you in learning cryptocurrency and might increases their attention and knowledge on what you're doing in your life.

In my situation, I'm a regular student and for me, it's a really hard course and should have a lot of time and effort to invest in studying. I can say that all of my time must be spent in a good way so I can pass all of those subjects and graduated on time. People around me are believing that I must graduate at the right time, have a degree, and take a licensure exam. Actually, I have a license even I'm a student but can you imagine that I still manage to do effort posting and creating informational threads and also gaining income that is considered as a common thing. Now, I'm always thinking that when I graduated and even I have a huge minimum salary for a fresh grad, I will still invest time on crypto.

I believe that a job is should be acquired, as reputable members said, signature campaigns or even the bitcoin can be vanished and might fully affect your whole life relying on it. I think being practical is way better than the usual thing we're doing in here to gain money. If you really love crypto then have time management or make a business that will help you for the division of your work, crypto for the first day and job for the next day, something like that. I'm just concern to you, have an escape plan in case there's something worst might happen in crypto.

Cryptocurrency might not forever exist but I will make sure that even crypto will go, the flow and the process of my success will be constant, still going up until we reach the sky.
2570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: simple things that might motivate you on doing your best. on: July 26, 2019, 06:23:34 PM
Congrats on your achievements. You may as well add that new users can discuss/post in their local boards and be merited since a lot of your earned merits are from the local boards too.

I've recommended some of your posts to loycev's merit thread btw.

Thank you! I hope you reach your goal too!  Wink

I will add your story to my thread: Inspirational stories from self-made promoted users.
Please tell me which rank you began with merit system? Are you fully self-made Senior Member?

I'm just a Full Member when the merit system implemented then gained 150 merits from our local and some international sections here. I'm a Sr. Member now with skills and knowledge and with my hard work and efforts, I made it here.

2573  Other / Beginners & Help / simple motivation! on: July 23, 2019, 01:15:35 PM
Good day everyone, I've decided to share a little bit of my experience and some things that might get you interested and motivated on staying here. I'm doing this thread in here since the Beginners & Help where most of the newbies are in here. I know some of you are getting tired because you think acquiring merit is a very difficult thing. Well, I hope this might hype you up and get started to be one of a responsible member. This thread is not for bragging, its purpose is to inspire you to keep developing yourself because even us we also have been through in that state. Honestly speaking, I'm not that good like the others who are good in data analytics and other stuff but because of being a hardworking member you can achieve everything here.

Just want to share this achievement that I've reached, leet.

I know some of you will react that it's just a simple/basic thing but for me, it's a very satisfying thing to have this number of post. Imagine yourself as a low-quality poster and develop your language skills by keep posting and griding hard, that's an achievement! This is also a big deal for the other persons too.

Achieving leet or 1337 posts is a thing you might want to put on your list too  Cheesy. Leet is just a slang word of an elite, and I think it's just a combination of ASCII characters (correct me if I'm wrong). I know it's hard to do a lot of quality posts that's why I'm very glad about this milestone. This is only satisfaction for me but it makes me motivated to do more so I think it might help you even it's just a simple goal.  Cheesy

Next one is about merits.

I'm just a Full Member at that time when the merit system was implemented. In those days, I think it's over for me because I don't have any idea how to gain any merits. Then through a lot of threads that I've made, I received a bunch of merits and ranked up to Sr. Member. Here are the top threads in my local board that gain a lot of merits and hoping this will give you an idea to manage your journey here in bitcointalk forum. I searched a lot and read some legit articles before I start creating informational threads and sometimes I also try if it really works before sharing.

While creating informational threads like these, you will also learn other skills too. The skill that I also acquired while staying here is making signatures using BBCodes. As you can see in the tribute signatures that I've created for our local, I made it for free as my contribution to our country. Signature making is really a hard thing to do that's why you can see a lot of expensive signatures in the Services because it was made with full effort and dedication. There are so many people in my local really appreciated my work and that's the reason why I received a lot of merits during that day.

The point is every effort you will make that will help other people, there will be a good return to it. So what's the point of sharing my experiences? I just wanted to encourage a lot of people especially newbies to keep posting good threads and spread a good discussion in our community. Thinking about the current situation, I realized that we need to inspire more newbies to develop them as intellectual members soon because I know that most of the members here are not gifted to understand easily some complex technology like bitcoin and the blockchain. I believe that sharing is really an important thing and simply letting others to know some part of you. Thanks for reading this thread and I hope you learn something that you will carry on your journey to be a successful person.
2574  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [GUIDE] PAANO MAGMINA NG BITCOIN???? - Building Mining Rigs on: July 23, 2019, 09:51:14 AM
bump~

Pare, are you mining? Not necessarily Bitcoin.

Yes, dati nung nag-try lang ako using 1050 Ti kaso I found out that it's not profitable at tumaas yung bill ng kuryente because of that. Pero atleast na-try ko kahit na sobrang unti ng amount ng BTC ang nakuha ko from that, experience rin from me. Pero using ASICs, i don't have money to buy that at sa tingin ko maramihan talaga ang need mo to have good profit.  Wink

I have a new topic which is related to bitcoin mining. I hope you read because it's necessary now to learn it due to the changes in mining.

2576  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: July 22, 2019, 02:15:19 PM
Huwag naman sana kabayan, alam ko naman maraming existing mediocre posts dito and most of them are really a product of lazy members with "Okay na yan, basta may post" attitude but I still do believe na marami pa din sa mga kababayan natin na nageexert talaga ng effort. It just happens that most of them got the same perspective or hindi lang masyado magaling sa grammar that's why their posts seem spam/shitpost.

Hanggat maaari talaga ayoko rin magreport ng kababayan natin because I felt betrayal. So ang ginagawa ko na lang ay nagbibigay ng tips/advice and wishing na hindi na nila uulitin yun. Pero kung talagang sumosobra na or the mistake he committed is definitely punishable then doon pa lang ako nagrereport. Let's be more compassionate and understanding mga kabayan Smiley.

Same goes with me kaya nga hindi ko nalang din pinapansin kasi dumaan rin tayo diyan sa pagshi-shitpost when we're lack of ideas kung paano nga ba gumawa ng magandang discussion. If obvious na shitpost naman talaga and sobrang walang sense(makikita mo naman sa pagconstruct kahit tagalog), it's already punishable. Sa totoo lang may kakilala nga ako na nabigyan ng red tag from a DT1 because of shitposting so it's better to report the post kaysa mas worst yung mangyari sa kanila, doon mo masasabing caring ka talaga sa iba nating kabayan. Cheesy

Both sides got their good points. Tama si finaleshot2016 for pursuing to have our local board a new merit source kasi pra naman talaga ito sa future ng board natin. Kung may karapat dapat naman talaga then I think there's nothing wrong for grabbing the opportunity, right? He/She would be another pride of our country if ever man and besides mas mapapabilis nito ang pagdistribute ng smerits which is okay for me. May kasabihan nga tayo, "The more, the merrier." Smiley.

At least someone really gets my point. Thanks!
BTW, I'm very glad to see an active thread like this again, thanks for the response of my fellow kabayans! I hope na magkaroon ng ganito ulit as much as possible kasi mas interesting ang mga discussions when it's written on your own language.

@finaleshot2016, I suggest you apply because you are active here, and I tell you, I will support your application.

There are reputable members here that are better than me but thanks because you trust me and willing to support me!~ Appreciated!  Wink
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 21, 2019, 11:41:22 PM
He's not just a good fighter but also a salesman.  Tongue

LOL, this is true, Thurman is such a good guy and I can sense with his trash talk, he just want to sell the fight and that was a success since it was a sold out crowd with over 14K in the venue.

Thurman should also be proud that his first loss is from a legend, and he is not afraid to fight any fighter, he gain respect from the boxing community now.

Also adding the influence of Manny Pacquiao, there's a lot of crowds because they wanted to watch the fight of Manny, the people's choice. Thanks also to Thurman for his TT, well, it's very common for a fighter to trash talk his opponent to hype the fight. Even he trash talk Manny Pacquiao, he gives all of his best to win the game and fight a legend.

~

Having a famous guy like Roberto Carlos promoting your brand is a big win.
However,I think that this type of promotion is more suitable for the sports betting niche, not online crypto casinos. After all,Roberto Carlos is a retired soccer super star. Smiley

Well, everyting is possible with money.  Wink
Maybe Roberto is a fan of gambling sites that's why he becomes an ambassador of that platform. They do need any celebrities to their project/platform so many users will invest and try it.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao Now Stands as Favorite vs Thurman — Sportsbooks on: July 21, 2019, 11:25:11 PM
People got questions on how this one becomes split decision where its clear that Manny dominates most of the rounds.
https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/07/21/19/the-right-man-won-but-questions-arise-over-pacquiao-thurman-split-decision

Personally, I think it's a close fight because Thurman in hitting in the 2nd half of the fight, I think we should not question the judges and we should be happy that he won the fight, I can say that it's a hard fight for Manny as Thurman is not backing down like his previous opponents, and with that, he gained respect from Manny.

I'm with the same race of Manny and wanted to be not biased here. I supported Manny Pacquiao on his fight and bet on him but I think it's a close fight. If they really watch the whole fight, Pacman also received heavy blows on Thurman, that's why it's split decision. Actually, Pacman can lose the fight if he didn't knock out him on the first round of the fight via unanimous decision because Thurman is a title holder.
2580  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Filipino Account Review (ALL RANKS) on: July 21, 2019, 11:17:28 PM

Agree, newbies are very afraid on the higher-ups kaya bihira lang sa kanila ang gumagawa ng topic/threads/post. Kaya unti nalang din ang mga nabibigyan ng pagkakataong mag-improve dahil wala sila dito at nagpopost nalang sa mga mega threads sa Alt/BTC Discussion. The only way you'll improve here is to accept criticism or you have the ability to understand the topics easily.
