Obviously not, If you're really in Macau then there's a lot of casinos where you can go. I think there's a casino place that has few people on it 'cause it's very tiring and it's stressing me when there's a lot of people around me.

I think people aren't usually cured from being a gambler it's just that, they just stop because they know what's best for them. People can still get to play gambling back but the big difference is that they are able to control it now. Unlike before where they always find what their minds tells them. Of course, it's so hard to control first because they are getting used to the feeling where they always have time to bet and enjoy but in the long run it is getting worst until one day they find themselves drowning in debts or bankruptcy.
It's true that mistakes make the people learn. If someone didn't learn through debts, bankruptcy, and losses, then the level of addiction of that person is very difficult to cure. I realized that it's not also better to make gambling a good entertainment since it requires a lot of money than the usual entertainment other people do. Anyways, control is always the key to this kind of scenario and should have the practice to maintain and balance the financial stability in life to avoid problems. |

Exactly but think of this, gamblers do gamble to win so at their mind they expect to win every time they gamble, that's the reality, right? Probably, the algorithm behind the dice is a balance, or maybe 60% to the owner and 40% to the gamblers. It's 2020 na, probably lahat ata alam na yung basics and advantages na dulot ng merit sa atin. Syempre yung preferences at kung sino dapat ang bigyan ay madalas napapagusapan na rin Meta and here also since 2018-2019. I watched the video and I'm amazed na almost similar yung indicated facts about LoRa sa natutunan ko. The idea behind this thread of mine is from our topic in our university and I just connected it to BTC since may mga nabasa rin ako na "what if" nagkaroon ng integration ang BTC and LoRa network or iba pang network kaya shinare ko yung idea agad dito bago pa mag-fade sa utak ko. Anyways, I'm curious and I don't completely understand (in a technical aspect) why use the LPWAN when something could be utilized like the 3G, 4G or 5G network and make something secure to that. Ang alam ko lang is the downside with the cellular network is that it requires higher consumption, so why not focus the research on that part? I'm not against it ha, I'm just being practical din. Nodes have to be ran by users so madami din dapat mag support and I don't think it's possible right now kasi limited pa lang, especially sa Philippines, hindi pa ganun ka dami ang mga nag susuporta sa Bitcoin. Mentioned dun sa video na na-share mo na Low Power and Low cost means all of us can have private nodes and gateways and proven ko na since I have my own LoRa module for Arduino and can make nodes on my Raspberry Pi, both of this is low cost and pwedeng self-made. Due to that, I can easily implement my own network like mesh network with multiple nodes. Also, Both microcontrollers have the ability to use python which is karamihan ng existing chain ay gawa don. If ever ma-develop and magkaroon ng integration, mas tipid. tho, naisip ko rin yung 5g network, pero narealize ko dahil sayo (thanks sir @crwth) na wala palang naka-indicate sa thread ko kung ano yung criteria for the best kasi nagfocus lang ako sa naisip kong idea na natutunan ko from our seminar. For effectiveness, obviously wala namang tatalo sa 5g network, but very expensive and dito sa Pilipinas parang imposible masyado kahit na implemented na "daw" ang 5g network sa globe and smart. Also, hindi ba madedefeat yung purpose ng offline transaction, kung magrerely naman tayo 5g network ng ISPs?, correct me if I'm wrong. Right now, it's not yet completely practical but it is possible when you are only working on a small scale, like testing the actual LoRaWAN protocol and making sure it works. Since future ang pinaguusapan natin, magiging posible yan for sure. Always forward naman ang tao eh, lalo na sa mga inventions and technology.

Good day! Gonna share this topic that I've studied recently. Ito yung topic na posible mangyari in the future once maisagawa pa ang pagdedevelop ng networking technology. Nabasa ko 'tong article nito which caught my idea at nai-relate ko agad siya sa aking knowledge sa networking technology. So gusto kong i-share yung idea na Paano kung wala ng Internet? Unang papasok sa aking isipin ay, paano na ang Bitcoin? Posible pa magkaroon ng transaction without internet or offline? Una kong naisip 'tong LoRaWAN na tinatawag na ang ibig sabihin ay Long Range Wide Area Network. Ano ba ang LoRaWAN? LoRa (Long Range) is a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technology. It is based on spread spectrum modulation techniques derived from chirp spread spectrum (CSS) technology.[1][2] It was developed by Cycleo of Grenoble, France and acquired by Semtech the founding member of the LoRa Alliance. So basically, using a small piece of chip pwede ka na gumawa ng sarili mong network even a Raspberry Pi, pwede mong gawing node ng LoRa network mo. Ang nagpapatakbo ngayon sa bitcoin transactions ay chain network in the internet, which is mas madali dahil globally ang pag-transact basta may access ka sa internet. Ang LoRaWAN ay isa ring WAN/MAN (Wide Area Network/Metropolitan Area Network) na ibig sabihin ay pwede kang gumawa ng network mo sa isang specific na area. Halimbawa nalang ay, may network sa buong metro manila at pwede kayong mag-connect connect through it. So posible nga ba magamit ang LoRa network sa pag-implement ng Bitcoin?- Hindi, dahil sa WANetwork, minimal na data transfer lang ang pwede so it means na baka hindi kayanin ang size ng blocks.
- Once implemented, magiging congested lang lalo ang LoRaWAN dahil minimal lang ang data transferring at limited lang ang pwedeng maka-connect sa gateways
- Limited area lang.
So bakit ko pa sinabi ang LoRaWAN as possible solution for offline transaction kung di rin naman magagamit at puro disadvantages?Nasa first phasing palang naman ang LoRa technology so there's still a possibilities na ma-develop 'to as soon as possible. I wise man said, "It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity." So possible for development ang lahat ng bagay at kapag mas lalong nabigyan ng pansin ang LoRa technology, definitely ito na ang solution for offline private transactions. Possible na lahat ng payments ng connected branches ay mata-transact through LoRa Network, once kaya ng mag-receive and transmit ng data na malaki ang technology na ito. Halimbawa. Here's a map, para mas klaro ang explanation. Kung makikita niyo sa image, ang Main Branch na located sa Manila ay connected sa Internet which is very obvious dahil malakas ang connection ng Internet within Metro Manila. The Sub Branch na located below ay walang signal or out of coverage sa internet. The possible solution here is LoRa Technology. Kayang magpadala ng payment ang Sub branch to Main branch basta within in the path (straight line) merong nodes ng LoRa technology na magtatransfer ng data na dapat ma-transfer sa Main Branch without using the Internet. Kung iniisip niyo naman na parang katulad lang 'to ng Money Transfer, hindi po siya katulad don. Ano nga ba ang technology behind sa Money Transfer? EFT yon or ang tinatawag na Electronic fund transfer na kung saan Online Transaction pa rin 'yon so not qualified as Offline Transaction ang mga money transfer like Western Union and many more. It still uses online service providers para gumana yung money transfer. Wala na bang ibang paraan for LoRa para mas maging posible ito? Actually meron din, diba alam naman natin na ang Electrum ay maliit na data lang ang ginagamit kada-transaction? So pwedeng magkaroon ng integration between Electrum and LoRaWAN para mas maging posible ang minimal data transfer sa network. May existing nodes/gateways ba ang LoRa ngayon sa Pilipinas?Actually, may mga gateways na existing ngayon na ginagamit sa IoT technology at pwede mo ring gamitin for your own private transaction once nagkaroon ka na ng access sa mga gateways na yon. May 6 gateways na existing ngayon dito sa Pilipinas at 3 ay nasa Metro Manila. Pwede ka rin namang gumawa ng sarili mong node and gateways para sa iyong offline private transaction. LoRa technology is still a new technology na kaka-implement lang so possible gamitin itong technology for Bitcoin-use someday. So looking forward pa ako sa mga ibang networking technology na pwedeng magamit ng bitcoin and di na malayong mangyari sa current status ng technology na still going up ang development. Like what I've said in my recent threads, prioritizing technology really make changes in our society so it must be funded and should be given a lot of attention dahil ito ang mag-aangat satin. Obviously, stop when you're losing 'cause you're tired and don't have enough money to bet. When you're continuously winning the game, then you will continue also to bet and gamble. That's how the mentality of a desperate one to earn a lot of money. Betting a lot until you lose again all of your money. when I win I withdraw part or 75% of my total money, then play the rest.
and if on the same day I do not get any victory I have to stop I know it is difficult but must to do, some people will continue to play and hope to restore their defeat in the next game but it will get worse. NiP has more wins, but they have been defeated one time, vs OG. They have beaten Alliance and Singularity with clean 2-0 scores.
But I think being defeated by OG is very understandable if we look at their (OG) recent performances. So this is a very difficult choice and I can't take too much risk to bet on this match.
I will skip on Navi vs Cyber Legacy. And for OG vs Aggresive, I'm very confident with OG. OG with Sumail, I'm still confident too. They're too OP now and another TI is very possible for them. They got a lot of 2-0 on recent matches, they just have 1-1 with Team Liquid (common already).  They also won the fight 2-0 with Aggressive Mode. OG for TI10!! |

I guess it would be more exciting a backyard brawl that lasts 10 seconds until someone is knocked out. Go to youtube and watch those fights, boxing is for professionals not just street fighters.
Well others may not like the style of boxers who run, but definitely if you are a fan of the sweet science of boxing, you will appreciate it, so to each its own. But majority wanted a brawl, toe to toe, fight of the year candidate boxing match. But Floyd Mayweather is retire so I think we shouldn't insert his name in the discussions, just saying. Agree though, and besides Manny Pacquiao have already affiliations with Mayweather now and they support each other. So there's no need for us to discuss them since they have good terms. And about McGregor-Pacman, more likely it's just a show for me but still many people will bite on this event. But on my side, I hope Pacman chooses a specific job if he will just a boxer/businessman or a senator 'cause it's weird, he's gaining money from the people and his passion. |

This is the reason why gamblers are continuing their gambling and getting their life more destroyed.
What pretty much happens. These gamblers are ready to leave gambling for good. They know the reasons for their current problems and are aware of it. Problem is that withdrawal syndrome and the same reason that makes them reconsider their actions also hold them against it. They see huge destroyed aftermath, they want to quit, but at the same time they wanted some payback, so they'll try for another hit, only to fail again. And if the gambler is not perceptive, he'll find himself stuck in an endless pool of gambling once again. Kind of sad, but that's what most of our gamblers do. They tend to forget that gambling is a pastime, not a lifestyle. Next thing they know, they're broke That's the effect of addiction, can't control even you're losing already. So it's better that we have a strong emotional and mental strength that can conquer those. The worst part of this, even they're already broke, they still find a way to gamble. If you lose, then stop already, it's not a good idea to bet for another just to lose again, it's a totally waste of time and money. |

No one has to be blame, they are fighting to put a show but people are expecting that is less likely to happen. In this fight, Floyd was the favorite so many expects him to win and it so happen, and when Manny lose they'll want a rematch to have another shot of beating Floyd which I think again will not likely to happen but I would still beat on Manny, that's how bias I am. Like what I've said, people are looking for a best fight, so many are disappointed and hated him for his actions on that match. That's why Manny Pacquiao gains the trust of all the viewers on that fight. No one really likes the strategy of Floyd used on that fight, even a fan of him. The perspective of a normal person, can see him as running boxer in the whole fight but technically, he is just defending. So what's the difference between that, defending the whole time and just punching if there are open spots, that's lame tho. Compubox, and I'm not really a fan of either just people that are knocking floyd and saying he just runs has no idea about boxing. I still havent heard one reason why pac won just that floyd runs I haven't continued scoring the Pac vs Mayweather fight due to my ppv unstable connection that time. But as far as I can see, it was Floyd who dominated Pacman. Floyd was fighting defensively but was landing more punches too than Pacman. Pacman's right shoulder injury did some damage but it was his team to be blamed by convincing the star to go on with the fight schedule despite Roach insisting it. Well technically, Floyd really won the fight. I'm a Pacman fan and considered Floyd as the winner, he played defensively 'cause he knew that once Pacman throws his punches and Floyd received each of it, he's in danger. That's the technical part of this fight. You can't consider Floyd's strategy at that time as a dirty technique since he played fair but... as expected in a boxing fight, it should be a brawl right? So, many people are disappointed in what's happening and wanted Pacman to be the winner. So in the end, Pacman became the People's choice since he really wanted to knock out Floyd but keeps running the whole fight. That's the reason why Floyd keeps running, he can be easily knocked out by Pacman once received a power punch from Pacman's left fist. So you can't blame Floyd if he's running the whole time and wanted to defend his champion title. Still, it's very disappointing to see that kind of playstyle. |
