But, I feel there is something missing out in their selection process. IMO, if you feel something is missing on the process of how @Hhampuz pick the new participant of the campaign, it's none of our business and we don't know why but probably there's a good reason behind it. I'm not biased, this is my experience from joining different campaigns of yahoo62278 and Hhampuz. For example, the last slot of this campaign was provided to a person who lagged gambling boards activities which must be UNFAIR to all other applicants who dreamed about a slot with their gambling board activities (given that it is a gambling campaign). When a poster is good at making constructive posts, the person would possibly also be able to post in gambling. It is not that difficult to express opinions on boards such as gambling discussions, as most of us have gambling experience. I believe next time, Hhampuz may take time to look into post history rather than simply looking at number of merits. It is open forum and everyone deserves their rights to point out what they feel and in above scenarios I took my chance. You may still call me "pointless" but it is up to you and your belief on Hhampuz like they will do everything perfect (but all human are entitled to make mistakes somewhere and pointing them out doesn't mean not respecting them).
I also experienced your situation and I know what's the feeling but I realized later on that I should improve to gain qualifications on our goals here. You may be right, but as you can see, the campaign manager here works for so many years they already know what they're doing. It finds myself very hard when you are in that stage (addiction) to get out from the hell. It is very bad to allow the age of 5 years to gamble casinos because they will be addicted early and cannot control themselves until they are adults. I can't imagine what life would be like between them, I honestly want to see every child grow smart as a successor to the nation.

I don't think we are getting back to normal. Many countries still have the high number of.infected people and this situation might last for a while, to my opinion at least one more month. All major sport everts are cancelled and that definetely impacts the sport gambling, the choice for players isn't that big and attractive. But I guess we need to adjust, it's not like we have a choice. Well, that's why I said slowly, also we are gettin back to normal, it's not the end of the world, we already have the facts of recovery. I know there are a lo countries who stil suffer and actually my country is one of those, we have a continuous growth of victims everyday, because people do not want to cooperate. There are actually 1,091,047 cases already and there's no PUM or PUI included so undoubtedly, it's chaos. There are several companies that are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic virus, including gambling casinos and other establishments that have temporarily closed down. Family bonding is also an option, recovery is fast when those loved ones are there for you to support and making happy moments with them. My thoughts regarding this enlightened when I created my own thread about gambling is similar to trading. Since gambling and trading have both risks, then we can conclude that they are similar to each other. Risks always have a basis on what they're trying to predict, prediction can be applied to gambling and trading even different kinds of analysis so definitely, you're trading every day without knowing if you'll get a win or lose situation.
But some other gambling games aren't really similar to trading because it only requires luck.

While in gambling, you're guessing, so you don't have any control of the future outcome or result. Guessing can't be applied in trading, it will just make a huge loss. Trading requires a lot of mathematical theories, even thinking that it will go pump due to this and that, it's theoretical, you aren't guessing out of anywhere.
I agree with you, but still similarities can be found - for example, when betting on sports you can find statistics of personal meetings of the teams. Also in trading there is a technical analysis... TA or Technical analysis and other mathematical analysis will be always there in trading. Those statistics are in the team, but maybe you're right, we will still guess if that's the team will win 'cause those statistics can still be a basis too. Therefore, risk really exists everywhere, since there's always a basis for every decision we're making. But specifically, the risk is still the right term to be used. |

Nope, I have self-control, even my family restrict gambling for a longer time, it will just cause a lot of damage financially and mentally. Sleeping is important too, we can think and control ourselves if we have enough sleep. Discipline or self control is needed and if the person is been addicted to much in gambling then it needed to seek an immediate advice from the family member but if the case still uncontrollable eventhough the family members do their efforts then a professional action is needed and seek for medication.
Much helpful if there's already a professional that will guide the gambler to properly assist this kind of addiction. If the family and friends can't hold and even the efforts already been there it will be useless and the needs of deeper help is really necessarry. Agree, it won't help if you're just curing yourself of addiction because sometimes you'll feel that you need to spoil yourself and will still do the same thing. Self-control and discipline are not enough, the gambling addict will still end up in the same situation if there's no guide or assist to recover them from addiction. |
