Smiley
I think big companies like Steam should apply this again, kapag cryptocurrency pa kasi ang additional payment sa Mobile legends, it'll just be more difficult sa mga hindi techy at gustong maglaro lang. At kung usapang top-up, mas mabilis sa codashop using load at mas tatangkilikin yung ganon way of payment.

I think the reason that th online tournaments are more laggy is because there is no organization that are supervising the tournament thus causing a disruption in games, if it were on the flip side, LAN tournament and it is organized then that means there will be less disruption possible.
I am sure you meant ping or network issues. This is not the case if the server is of same region of the teams. Like NA server and all teams are from NA and same for other regions. The only problem is the diff between 5ms which they play on LAN and 40+ ms.
Known eSports team have headquarters that have ISPs sponsors so definitely those providers will give them a good quality internet that is 1ms. Here, a third world country, have a company which is called Tier One that provides streaming setups to talented gamers (talents) that are good at gaming, and the setup includes high-end PC and good internet with 1ms.

Some known internet cafes here like TNC or Mineski (teams of Dota2) have also small ping even if you're playing in the different servers like we're from SEA while playing on NA. Idk, but I think it depends on what area you're located 'cause sometimes it's very delayed.
1743  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Off-Topics] Pilipinas on: March 20, 2020, 07:40:59 PM

Idk what his plans, I really admire that guy kasi siya yung nag-inspire sakin to make quality post pero to think na nag default siya ng laon, nakakapagtaka lang. If nalugi siya sa business then bakit niya idedefault yung loan, sayang yung account niya, started from the scratch pa naman. So kahit bumalik siya, imposible na ma-gain ang dating personality na @theyoungmillionaire kasi marami ng aspiring newbies ngayon na possible to be like him.

I think things really hit him/her hard kasi mukhang malaki ang nilugi niya sa trading and nawalan na ng gana to start again.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: March 20, 2020, 07:05:49 PM
Priorities.
Same, and I think most of the people will understand that.
Priorities can be on your love ones or maybe passion in life. It's basic and doesn't need any explanations.

For me, gambling is not an option for making money, so only things related to my core values can stop me.
If for some reason gambling can interfere with my life, my family or my health, then I will stop immediately.
Yeah, we only live once so we should focus more on our love ones. Gambling is just there and will not go away, anytime if you wanted to be entertained, it's always there but the family can't always be there for you.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 20, 2020, 06:34:53 PM
I'm 100% sure none of casinos where the location is infected by Corona Virus is still operating, authorities know that contact among gamblers cannot be restricted, gambling casinos are the first to close when the virus hit the location they are on the category of concerts, festivals and meetings.
Everything is closed, in most countries. But there a chance that in some casinos, like in some cafe and restaurants the same rules: 3 meters between people, and cleaning every hour. Of course i highly doubt for this. Maybe someone knows what in Monaco?
Even here in PH, every buildings and establishment are closed and no single company is excused on enhanced quarantine. @johhnyUA Even you implement social distancing like 3 meters between, there are possibilities that COVID-19 might spread since WHO or world health organization already confirmed the fact that COVID-19 can travel to air in just seconds and it survives in a surface for how many hours. So it's very dangerous to have a contact in each place where a covid-19 positive person went.

So if the government of Monaco is well informed about COVID-19 then the best solution for it is to close those gambling establishments since there are already many positives on covid-19 in that area.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play gambling that require skills and techniques. on: March 20, 2020, 05:54:11 PM
I think all games will need luck too or more clearly all games will have luck, for example in poker if you hold a pair of AA and your opponent holds KK is it possible for him to fold?
I think not and the winner is not necessarily AA, because we see the number of 5 cards that come out and there the role of luck will appear.
For sure but over a long run , if you play according to odds and your hand and by reading others ( which you can ) then you will have an edge to win money and make profit but it is not the same in dice or other casino games which is purely dependent on luck .
It seems that luck is a bonus in gambling games like poker and such. The main factor is where we use skills and strategies like bluffing. Dice does not require skills 'cause you'll roll it and choose one from it, your brain is at rest. Luck is already everywhere not just in any gambling but in life too, and we shouldn't depend on it if we want to succeed and have a good process.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 20, 2020, 05:32:52 PM
Casino gambling is impossible since our government is already implemented an enhanced quarantine in PH, which means we will lockdown ourselves and all of the establishments will be temporarily closed. The most effective way if you want to gamble is through online since it's very dangerous to gamble at casinos 'cause the virus might spread in many people, and it will just make things worst. Let's just cooperate and give a little rest on going casinos, let's cure our nation first.

1748  Other / Off-topic / Re: Top Matches in sports you want to watch again and again on: March 20, 2020, 05:13:40 PM
I can't relate since I'm not watching sports on the west, only the NBA.

But I'm watching eSports tournaments like LoL and Dota 2 where many epic scenes that can re-watch many times as we want because it's great.

But when it comes to NBA, the most satisfying game was this:
CAVS VS Warriors GAME 7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mxv5h-RZWVs

I will never forget this match, many betting happened at that time.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Physically vs Gambling Online Using Crypto on: March 20, 2020, 05:00:43 PM
In current time it is more effective to play online using crypto currency, because of COVID 19 the only difference is where you play online it is hard to limit the money that you are playing.
The topic is general and might exist even COVID 19 is already cured. Yes in the current time, the online platform is the only possible way to play gambling but if there's no quarantine and the nation is COVID-free then I might say physical gambling casinos are more effective since we can socialize there and have fun while online gambling which focuses only on making money and doesn't really entertain even there's a chat.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 20, 2020, 04:30:42 PM
It has many impacts on the sports industry and will have a lot of loses.
Everyone focuses on the gambling side of it and I can understand it since we are in gambling discussion part of bitcointalk. However, we are forgetting how much it is affecting the economy of the teams as well, these are huge companies as well, we see them as sports teams but they are actually big companies that deal with hundreds of millions of dollars.
Yes agree, if we think about the teams and other events, there are many profits to lose since all of it are cancelled because of COVID-19. Major events, especially on eSports that have a huge prize, is already cancelled and players will not be able to compete, therefore, no payment for them this year. There are also major companies that invested or sponsored that specific event and no promotions will occur.
A coffee shop buys coffee and sells it, a team buys players uses them and maybe even sell them, players are the products of those companies. Now that there is no games, no viewers, no tv rights, no merchandise, basically no income at all and they probably still have insane amount of cost just to keep it going, they will be losing money. I don't know how much THAT will affect the teams, that seems like the biggest thing here.
Not only in the sports industry, the artist of entertainments also experiences that kind of situation since they're always promoting a product.

1751  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Akyat nanaman sa $6,000 ang Bitcoin! on: March 20, 2020, 02:27:55 PM
Sana naman magtuloy tuloy na 'to.

Medyo naiinggit ako kasi may existing loan ako now at hindi ako nakabili sa kadahilanan need ko ng gastusin for my personal setup sa bahay. I hope next week mag 7k$ na. Swerte yung mga bumili last week at nakapag-hold ng BTC.

Current price is 6636.35$
1752  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Corona Virus in the Philippines. on: March 20, 2020, 02:12:02 PM

And can I ask what does natural immune system means to you?

So let's be intellectual for the upcoming 2022 election at piliin yung mabilis ang aksyon at serbisyo. The times like this, mas need natin ang presensya nila pero karamihan sa mga officials, walang kilos.
1753  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 01:57:13 PM
You just ended in that kind of conclusion without looking or searching the other factors why COVID-19 affects all of the markets. Probably, COVID-19 or coronavirus does not really affect bitcoin but it affects the mining business in China that is needed to temporarily close to stopping the spread of the virus.

Obviously, there's a lot of effects due to COVID-19 and we can't conclude easily without analysis on the market graph.  Roll Eyes

1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus Created by BTC Whales on: March 17, 2020, 02:57:35 PM
Im gonna explain how whales benefits from Corona Virus.
Whales already sold BTC at 10K$ - 9K$, they created Corona Virus by hiring corrupt doctors  and underground Labs, They spread corona virus in world to DUMP BTC and buying BTC again at 4K$ or 3K$ and laughing at people. whales have more than 1 Million BTC which is enough to hire any doctor or corrupt Labs.
Example: Whales Sold 1000 BTC at 10k$ 2 months ago, Now they Re Buy BTC at 4K$ and now they have 2500 BTC.
Thats all.

Spreading mere allegations that Bitcoin whales created the virus is kind of exaggerated. They can ride the pandemic and may have accelerated the depreciation of Bitcoin for their own gain but telling people that they planned it from the start, is kind of, nope.

The COVID-19 isn't the only factor in the sudden downfall of the crypto system, the first major drop was also associated with the OPEC-Russia oil war. Yes, Bitcoin whales may be suspected as a factor for the downfall but not as a creator of a Pandemic.
Agree. It just shows that some people are very fast at making false stories when in times of calamity like this. They should do research before making threads like this.

There are parts where COVID-19 is the reason like the mining business was stopped since we all know that 75% of miners are from China. The other markets also affect the crypto market so therefore, there are many factors and reasons why BTC have a downfall.
1759  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Corona Virus in the Philippines. on: March 17, 2020, 11:56:27 AM
Just an update:
Our President Rodrigo Duterte already places the entire country under a state of calamity.

Another good thing about the enhanced community lockdown is the fact that it killed entirely the business of those greedy resellers.
1760  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Resources Para Matuto sa English Language on: March 17, 2020, 03:57:19 AM
I agree. Having a knowledge on speaking international language will give you a lot of opportunity na mas umangat sa buhay.

As we can see, ang daming opportunity ang natanggap natin by using English language through posting in different sections here in bitcointalk. Just read more articles and topics na english kasi kusa niyong maadapt ang mga ways paano mag-brought up ng topic using English language.
