But I've seen the whites of his eyes, and I believe Josh is not a scammer. What we believe in is not important. What is important is what facts do we have at hand. The facts we have so far unquestionably prove that BFL is a scam. It was projected to be a scam one year ago. Now they're refusing refunds. It's high time they get a scammer tag on this forum! If not, then this forum is a part of the BFL scam. It is very simple indeed.

just pointing out that BFL is not alone in making mistakes in this space If someone makes a mistake they pay out from their own pocket. If you steal other people's money to pay for your mistake it's not a mistake. It is a scam!

To illustrate my point since people don't seem to get it.
Even the most broke ass college student will eventually earn $400,000 over a 40 year career. Thats just $10,000 / year for 40 years, an unrealistically low number. That amounts to 0.005% of your lifetime earning potential even if your a homeless person working for quarters on street corners. So while $2,000 might seem like its worth it to stress this hard over, I can assure you in the long run, it only makes you look like a huge tool. I have lost well over 5k multiple times in life just loaning money to friends that never paid me back or a bad business idea that never went anywhere. I have also come up on unexpected money that was in my favor. $2k is a piss in the ocean in the "Grand Scale" of things. You made a pre-order, knowing that its a risky bet (what about bitcoin isn't?), didn't get your expectations properly set, and are now acting like a raging faggot. I'm just trying to point out the fact that all the faggotry may not actually be worth it, adds additional stress to your own life, and accomplishes nothing other then making you look like a 15 year old tool. You got into this business full well knowing it is risky as hell. Now that we are at the finish line, and your stuff is about to be shipped, why persist in the immature behavior? Just chill the fuck out for a minute.
Yep, suck my dick too.

It keeps the price from changing dramatically.
How soon will BFL start doing what they are paid for by their customers has nothing in common with bitcoin price!

|
|
Don't get me wrong
I don't. You're just the next BFL sock puppet.

This is honestly one of the most entertaining threads on this forum. It is not so entertaining for the thousands of people that lost money because of the BFL scam!
|
|
|
I would of maybe waited even longer but seeing Josh's posts over the last couple weeks has just made me not want to do business with this company regardless of how much profit I might be able to earn with their miners.
Still hesitate? 99% of BFL customers (rather investors) will never get positive ROI. That is guaranteed!

I completely agree that anyone is welcome to waste the FTCs time with this nonsense. Don't panic!

This is absurd, I've had more logical conversations with my 4 year old. Look Inaba, all sales are final doesn't apply when a product hasn't even been built. Arguing with crooks is always amusing. I'm having a hard time to understand what is the difference between a final sale and not a final sale?

2013-07-16 Bitcoin Foundation forms committees for legal defense and regulation To sum it up... No Bitcoin Foundation = Nothing available for a government attack to be focused on = No need for a legal defense = No need to spend bitcoins on bitcoin regulation So, every dollar spent to help the government regulate bitcoin is a dollar less for bitcoin development.

I cannot tell if he is simply a bully or actually psychopathic. He is simply a crook.

Did I say I like PRISM or US spying on everybody? Well, you may not like it but you certainly justify it: If all your money sources are legit and taxed, you can't or will want to launder the money, you will just use it and nobody will have any problems with it. Translated... There is no other way for us to be sure that your money sources are legit and taxed if we don't put you on 24/7/365 surveillance. But you don't have to be afraid that we know everything about your financial and business (and many other) activities because we are good people.

So anyone else in my position please check how many days ago your order was because if you pass 118 you will have no protection.
I've put a manual half year ago for purchising bitcoin ASIC. You might find it useful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=136615.0

Well if they did that it would centralise the network and defy the entire point of bitcoins which is a decentralised currency.
What would happen when those companies then decide to work together and completely control the money supply - we would basically end up with central banks again. Meet the new boss same as the old boss.
Firstly money supply doesn't depend on the extend of bitcoin centralization and secondly, mining pools (not ASIC manufacturers) can work together with much more success to control bitcoin network.

I need miner not refund
This is why you'll get neither refund nor miner.

Customers would compete much more for space in blockchain, not less Again, more competition is better! Current situation of "almost no processing fees" is killing bitcoin. If all your money sources are legit and taxed, you can't or will want to launder the money, you will just use it and nobody will have any problems with it. Really?! It is the same old mantra: if you are not a criminal you don't have to be afraid of our ... PRISM. But I have a problem with it and most people do. It is called asymmetric information! I don't like the idea of random assholes with proper equipment and government connections to monitor my business dealings. Haven't you heard about commercial secrets? Why do you deny me the right of having commercial secrets? We all know that information is power. Absolute information is absolute power. Absolute power is absolute corruption. All those people that today put my business under surveillance tomorrow will be my competitors, or after they retire, or their sons and daughters, or their mistresses. They use my taxes to compete with me. I don't see any reason why should I agree with that. This is why I want 100% privacy for my money. It is not a question of crime or not. It is a question of unauthorized and unlimited power!

Imagine how long loading the blockchain will take if the millions of transactions we have so far, are monsters like that. A node could verify 1 transaction per second, not thousands. The blockchain would be 320GB, not 8GB. Imagine how nobody would mine your transaction for 1ct. We would already compete for space in the block chain and certainly the fees would be at least $1 per transaction. Maybe rather $10.
But this is good not bad because that is exactly what bitcoin needs. This will improve the economics of bitcoin as a monetary system. Current situation is unsustainable. Every service that is offered for free sooner or later will be abused in every imaginable way. This is exactly what is happening now and "spam" on the blockchain is increasing. Customers have to compete for space in the blockchain! You don't have a healthy economic system without competition! Only such a competition will drive most of the micro transactions off chain and incentivize the development of different payment systems based on bitcoin tokens. This is the future of bitcoin or there will be none at all. I'm not sure why people are so afraid when money laundering is mentioned? If you are NOT a criminal money laundering is NOT a crime!

Yes, but you can't turn "Zerocoin Bitcoins" back into real Bitcoin unless you find someone willing to exchange them. I fail to see why would anyone be willing to do that? What's the idea behind of turning real anonymous cash into pseudo anonymous one?

If you payed through PayPal, they'll (most probably) issue a refund. Got mine last week (refund, that is, not a miner)
What could be a better advertisement for the advantages of using PayPal over Bitcoin?! Well done BFL for shitting on the entire Bitcoin payment system.

Apparently there was a BTC ATM on the 39th floor above Canary Wharf: "I found a cash machine with a difference. This ATM chews up your £10 notes rather than spewing them out, and in return you get a computer code. This is the world's first Bitcoin cash machine and if the people showing it to me are to be believed, it shows us the future of money As a vending machine selling digital product they must pay VAT. Do they?
