My twitter account is not fake. ETC really is like open book for criminals. Actually ETC is criminal. IF they really support world computer idea it was not needed to renegade like this from the project. I wrote it and I am going to write it again. Few code lines can make contracts and all features immutable. But bunch of scammers like ETC decide to use the people expectations and naivety to earn money using it. If this is not a crime a clearly and so visible crime I don't know what is. Before 21 hours DAO Attacker drain the ballance of his wallet and now is free and happy with your funds. So is this a crime? What do you think?
lol
Since when doing nothing is a crime? Since when not accepting a change forced on you is a crime?

Someone is pumping up ETC and that should make any buyer or miner very nervous.  Someone with deep pockets or a very large investment in ETC is trying to save the ETC market by fighting the strong selling position.
Looks like the situation when eth was initially launched? But this time without the pre-mined ethers, huh?
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 26, 2016, 04:56:20 PM
Hi friends I am supporting ETH the one and only. I do not like this ETC scam that is trying to kill the idea for unique world computer system. If you want to support the cause. Join me in twitter https://twitter.com/real_ethereum. Let's show the renegades we will not tolerate them and let's defend the good reputation of ETH
Are you DAO investor?

Miners abandon forked eth in droves and switch to non-forked eth.

Sell ETC and keep their ETH – Without touching their ETH balance, owners can cash out in ETC on exchanges like Poloniex that are accepting the alternative fork's currency. This is essentially an opportunity for a simple 5% gain.

That was already tried yesterday and resulted in really huge losses for the forkers.

Make Ethereum Great Again
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 26, 2016, 11:22:52 AM
Trading volume of non-forked eth surpassed forked eth. People not only sell the fork to buy the original but fresh money are also pouring in the classic ethereum.

Ethereum community voting ETHXIT out of the fork!

Institutional investors in Ethereum that sided with forkers are forced now to reconsider their strategy and diversify in non-forked ethers in case eth fork is dead in a month!

Wow
Poloniex showing original eth chain today appreciated 73% against forked eth chain.
Pumpy?! I'm missing your lol's right now... lol
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 26, 2016, 08:33:10 AM
Will DAO refund to both chains?
Not to eth. Only to forked eth. That was the whole point of the fork.

Don't confuse people

Exchanges show eth and etc
Only one exchange decided to rename eth to etc. Other exchanges will do the right thing when they start trading both chains.

This kind of trolling could lead to people losing money. Please stop it.

you losing money ?

No, but those sending eth or etc to a wrong account, because becoin is in a trolling mood, might (Believe me, I know becoin, he does not care about eth nor etc).

Don't confuse people

Exchanges show non-forked eth today appreciated 39.9% against forked eth. Only forkers are losing money.

Pro-fork trolls should create new theme for the forked ether titled something like 'Welcome to the Fork1 Beginning'. This board is for the original ethereum.

But how can a dev support 2 competing chains and "take care of them equally"? This is a blatant case of what the law defines as 'conflict of interest'.

No it isn't.
Yes it is.
Ask your legal advisor!

is this project (Ethereum Classic) in relation with ETH ? i am confused please let us know the different between the two if not ?

Ethereum Classic is original ethereum before they did a centralized fork.

In other words: it's a new altcoin without the backing of The Ethereum Team, without the backing of The Ethereum Foundation, and with their own tokens called ETC at exchanges.

They have their own thread too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1559630.msg15702715#msg15702715

But for some reason mr.bitpop has decided to hang in this thread just to confuse people.

Lets get back to keeping ETH talk here, and ETC talk in the ETC thread.

There is 3  ETH now:
ETH pre-fork (it is history now)
ETH fork (pro-forkers choice)
ETH non-forked (identical to ETH pre-fork and direct successor)

This is why exchanges have to maintain different wallets and keep track of the 3 eth-tokens!
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 25, 2016, 01:28:25 PM
so dao investors get their forked-eth back
eth holders get free etc to hold or dump
exchanges make more in trading fees
pools make more in mining fees
everybody plays ...everybody wins

Not everybody.
Corrected for you.

There isn't any difference whatsoever. The ONLY difference is the price. Forked ETH is much more expensive than non-forked ETH. If you need ETH as a fuel for your smart contract needs the choice is obvious The ONLY reason ETH was forked is to bail out bad bets made in the DAO casino.

Since I don't care about the DAO project I don't care who will benefit from $60M in eth at stake whether this amount will go to the forkers around Vitalik or to the person that exposed DAO weak point.

Sure good there were some Bitcoin maximalists, with money to burn and a point to prove, ready to buy them from me.
Sorry, I don't understand. What does Bitcoin have in common with ETH hard fork fiasco?
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 25, 2016, 10:39:40 AM
Yes but this thread is about the immutable chain which is ETC

Vitaliks team wanted to take Ethereum in a different direction than you. They got the miners, users and exchanges to follow them. So you created an alt.
lol
How do I create something that is already there?
How do I create something that is already present and I guard it from being killed?

Hi becoin

Have you bought some ETC now?
Of course. It'd be a sin to miss this huge opportunity and not buy the original ETH at such a wild discount.

Have you bought non-forked ETH as well?
