I feel sorrow for most of you. Most of you have never been rich with a lot of money. Sooner or later you'll inevitably be tempted to sell your bitcoins and buy something you think you need. Rich people will buy out your bitcoins. They will be rich again and you will end up having some useless glossy trash. And most important, you'll turn into bitcoin haters because you''ll never be allowed to buy back your bitcoins at the same price.

Yawn, yawn and yawn.

Old news re-written by a Troll LOL

It has been known for ages, that the Ethereum Foundation remains well financed for future development work.

I think VB has more ETC than the ETC shills. So he might sell these coins first.

The Ethereum Foundation has it's own funds, these are the funds are what is discuss in the public domain by the crypto community.

So the ETC price rise will benefit the ETH Foundation?
dont think so
here a link
https://twitter.com/eth_classic/status/816459511343017985
vitalik said they sold 90% of there ETC in the last 6 month.
they also sold 1 mil of there eth and they have now there value in btc
they seemed to bet on btc rather  then on eth or etc

So there is no incentive for VB to support ETC anymore.

ETHC doesn't need VB's support.

Some miners may keep mining on a chain because they believe future profits will be worth it, but that's a minority of typical miners.

ETHF miners don't believe in future profits. They believe in current profits. They dump everything at the moment they mine it.

Remember falllling's FUD?

$550 has been broken ! $500 has been broken ! $400 has been broken ! everyone is cashing out !

Bitcoin price is dropping hard and no one is buying, final capitulation warning ! bitcoin game over !

Stop listen to those "cheap coins" yelling scammers / liars including: fonsie / dropt / maker88 / Sevvero and other bull scammers
sell all of your bitcoin now to cut loose ! the price is going to nowhere but lower and lower until $0

I was not impressed at that time because I've seen the same FUD few years earlier when ATH was reached and price from $32 dropped to $6.
1645  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: sigh on: January 02, 2017, 10:20:55 AM
Arguments followed like date of deposit on the address in question, start of the LBC project (2 years later) etc.

LOL... How does date of deposit prove you "have nothing to do with this address"?
1646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2016, 01:43:27 PM
....at 6000 a BTC I'd have $600,000.00 ...

Yep, but I can't tell what you can buy with $600,000.00 after one year!
1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 31, 2016, 01:13:32 PM
That is entirely fine with me, but I'm purely interested in primary function as a crypto-currency.

Why would anyone be interested in a crypto-currency that has unlimited supply and can be easily forked at the will of a limited group of bagholders?
1648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2016, 01:05:16 PM
Expect >$1000 by the end of this year as some of the really large bear whales will go belly up. Some of the exchanges will go with them as well for they sell bitcoins they don't have.

I've told ya 3 months ago when price was $660.
Now when price is >$950, I say expect >$6000 by the end of next year.

Happy New Year
Cheers
1649  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Holy. Shit. on: December 24, 2016, 11:52:43 AM
The correct question is:
How do we know it is not one of your own keys?

Yo my fellow retard becoin! We had that discussion already. Remember?

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1573035.msg16523548#msg16523548

ff.

A discussion can't happen if there are no arguments presented. Your claim is backed only by underlined bold fonts:

I swear I have nothing to do with this address - except my client found its private key tonight!

Arrogance is a primitive defense caused by the lack of arguments. Your arrogance is quite amusing, my dear friend.

Right now, the pool has had only one true find after searching 35 trillion keys.

How do we know? Is it on the stats page?

so at what point do people believe we start to overheat? is it on the verge of happening now or has it not even begun yet?

Overheat?...
We haven't started yet!
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can we really trust CryptoNote code? on: December 19, 2016, 11:00:36 AM
Don't trust any code that you can't read!

On the other hand, people that write such code should understand that their code should be easily readable if they want wide spread adoption.

Zcash was a known scam because ver is a known scammer. Vitaly got lucky scamming because he was new

how he scammed? I heard that the price hit 70x of ICO price...

Fake hype, bad technology, pump and dump

however it's still keeping the pretty high price  ;-)

What will you say when it drops below ICO price?
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 11, 2016, 10:41:19 PM
There's a separate chain for people who believe that, and we can all see how that coin is doing.  Perhaps if it was fairing better, and had a better future outlook, I'd be more inclined to agree with you.

ETHC is fairing better and has a better future outlook! You might be willing to look at ETHC/ETHF price chart before making this stupid statement. Classic ethereum is appreciating against forked ethereum in recent weeks.

I bought thousands of pounds worth of silver when it was at $30.

What a dickhead

Patience. You'll have thousand % profit in just 2-3 years.

Well I can't afford to sell it all anyway. It was a large amount.

Stupid really

Edit. I should have said I can't afford to sell it at a loss knowing it will go up eventually

Where do you safely store such a large amount of silver?

I think the power is out. Im awaiting a big dump close to xmas.

I'm waiting for such a dump to buy some cheap coins but day after day and only 2 weeks till Christmas I'm losing confidence. If there is such a dump it will be pretty anemic.
1658  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 09, 2016, 10:45:21 PM
If we don't break through 780+ before christmas, I will be cautious.

Christmas?... We shall break 780 within next 48 hours.

Not before we see ICO prices.

I don't think ETH will see ICO price again. Also thread is silent, which is strange.

It is inevitable.
