Anybody want to get a collection encrypted wallets together and put them on a P2P torrent on PirateBay? Just an idea.
Are the words 'idea' and 'brainfart' synonymous for you? ^^ lol wtf

We have to stick together 'round these parts. Find him boys.
We do! we must look out for each other! I noticed he is in the top ten of forum posters and to have him disappear is odd.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. I was trying to send some btc to a newly generated address so that I could memorize the private key, and then have my BTC in my brain. My clients copy paste function wasn't working correctly, so I decided to type the address in manually. I was lazy, so I didn't double check the address. at least it was only .25 BTC. Just thought I'd share my story with you guys. Moral: If you ever manually type an address, double check it. lol sorry had to giggle

Hmm I wanna see a $1m bidwall and see what that does.
Should I try it out ? Time is now! place your bid 0.15$ below market price. commit to leaving it there no matter what. people will be testing your metal shortly! Actually, not a bad idea lol just set it a .15 cents and good to go!

Ridiculous.
So he would be happy to take 200 million if people donated the full 1 billion?
I'm not saying for people to donate they can do whatever they want BUT if they do why not introduce to bitcoins if they do. Could care less what he is doing / taking thats for people to decide.

How is that I'm greedy by introducing more people to bitcoin ?
I'm pretty jaded about anyone who thinks that bitcoin is worth using. You might actually have altruistic intentions, but it's unlikely since the whole system is based around making money, not changing the world. Why are you here if you don't think bitcoin is even worth using ? No, I don't have any altruistic intentions why you make assumptions like this ? also noticed your great constructive critisim over on this thread you are a true charmer aren't you ? : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52001.0

Got to start somewhere it would introduce plenty of people to bitcoin regardless if he takes a cut.
Yes, his greed promotes your greed so it's all good. I mean, seriously, he gets to become one of the 1% while "supporting" the 99%? Words cannot convey my derision. How is that I'm greedy by introducing more people to bitcoin ?

And a scant 20% goes to himself. This should ring well with the bitcoin early adopters.

Ok, ok so it wasn't a billion dollar donation BUT I did introduce bitcoin to this guy with weusecoins.com ... http://billiondollar.me/I guess he's been getting a lot of attention because of the huge amount he wants to raise online for Occupy Wall St. and other causes. Here is his response to me in an e-mail: "This is very interesting! I like the idea. I am going to be taking a larger look into the idea as we got some good PR yesterday. I will actually be donating 50% of any proceeds to the 99% and OWS related causes.
How does bitcoin work with transfering money into dollars?"What are you going to do today for the bitcoin community? On a side note: maybe we should have a "task-a-day" that at least one of us should complete in the name of bitcoin a day

Digital wallets - consumers hate them.
I don't think they hate them.

to buy bitcoins ? Does it go up / down how does the market react to something like this ? I don't understand the question. When someone sells coins that match the outstanding orders the price falls. What do you want to know? I think he's trying to figure out if the market goes up or down. The market's fate likely resides in the hands of the guy with the million. If he wants to go up it most likely will, likewise in the other direction. this ^^

So if someone buys a million dollars worth of bitcoins then obviously there was outstanding order to sell a million worth of bitcoins right? I think you answered it not sure.
The bitcoin price is defined when a bid order matches a sell order. If there is 1 million dollars worth of pending sell orders, then you can spend 1 million dollars on bitcoins. If not, you can buy as much as you like until all sell orders are bought. Thanks figured that much just didn't know how that effected the market.
