2581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just going to $100,000 now? on: August 08, 2017, 08:14:12 AM
Ok last night I suddenly felt that BTC's road to $100k is imminent

Sounds crazy? Yes maybe, but it really is not

BTC at $100k is the right value

And we r going to see it go there now.   Shocked

You'll see my friends

lol 100k? no way for now, too early imho, but 10k is very possible in this year, 100k need more investors more adoption, more rich people from forex market, but i learned that bitcoin can really surprise us

2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 08, 2017, 08:09:08 AM
yesterday 10 coins per hour
now 5 coins per hour

just because the hashrate increase?
or something else?

diff went 2x, the block reward is still at what it was, no block halving yet, but is very near the halving, only few block left

is this faster than sp mod 5? i see with sp mod you get 30.5, here how much exactly? you said 30+, so i guess the same as sp mod or not? so i don't need to pay for it thanks

cryptonight are useless if you don't provide a pool, how can we mine? this is not fair, probably someone is already mining with his private pool, but maybe someone can put up a guide on how to mine in solo a cryptonight coin
2586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 07, 2017, 01:32:33 PM
i have 1.6 billion blackbyte how much they are worth? where i can trade?

It's 1.6 Gb if I'm not mistaken. Current price is ~0.18 BTC per 1 GB, trading is going on bittrex!

man i'm talking about blackbytes not byteball, if they were worth 0.18 i would sold them already lol

am I will get airdrop too if I put my byteball on bittrex?

no because you need to sign the linked address otherwise every moron can get the airdrop multiple times lol

2588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did altcoins got so popular? on: August 07, 2017, 08:13:06 AM
The value of bitcoin is constantly increasing.

you nailed it, it's because of the high value of bitcoin that more investors come to invest in altcoin, to have a chance to make more bitcoin, it's not new that altcoin are the only thing remaining to make tons of bitcoin, there is no other way anymore because now is very hard to acquire bitcoin without buying and investing millions
2589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Not Use Electron Cash! on: August 07, 2017, 08:11:54 AM
Hi there. So i wanted to give it a try and used a small wallet to check if electron cash is safe to use. Well it is not. I imported a wallet using all the precautions needed to save my bitcoins, and imported a small amount of bcc into the wallet. A couple of minutes later the bcc were sent away like magic. Farewell...

So be carefull!!!

Here's a screenshot

upload pic

did you downloaded it from original source, because there are a bunch of website that have similar name of electrum.org but they are indeed a scam site that steal your wallet
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 07, 2017, 08:10:16 AM
no lol bitcoin cash can't be the bitcoin ever, but it can be a good shit coin, if they begin to accept it for payment, as a side coin for helping bitcoin while we wait for a solution for the scaling issue, you can see bitcoin cash as another palliative for the block size
2591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to redeem Bitcoin Cash on: August 07, 2017, 08:10:01 AM
just to put it here, because some other user had this problem, you need to remember that with electrum cash you have to connect to bitcoin cash node and not bitcoin, otherwise no coin will show up, better to use bitcoin cash core
2592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What new coins to mine for future investment? on: August 06, 2017, 02:04:29 PM
i think signatum is very hot now, better to mine now before pos end, if you have nvidia it's the best coin for the time being, bitcore and denarius are also very good choice imho
2593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are CPU only mineable coins? on: August 06, 2017, 02:03:51 PM
i think good coin to mine with cpu are monero, magi, verium and zoin, i don't about other good as this one, but all of this have very low profit now, monero is also minable better with gpu imho
2594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sigt mining overclock on: August 06, 2017, 02:02:04 PM
Hello,

So i just started mining sigt and i am getting about 75MH/s which isn't bad.
My issue is that overclocking my GPUs doesn't seem to do anything to increase my hash rate. I have tried an OC to both memory and core but to no avail.
Is the skunk algorithm memory or core intensive?

Also since I started the miner I have progressively lost hash rate from 85 to 70ish... is this due to the difficulty? I lost 7 hashes in the first 5 mintes!??

thanks

if with nivida, you should increase only the core, mem is right, give no boost for me too, but what matter is the tdp, do 100% and you will see a boost
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck BitcoinCash on: August 06, 2017, 09:31:17 AM
but segwit is coming, and the fee won't be high again, they are very low now, the bitcoin cash protocol don't scale properly they just added more mb to the block, and also there are merchants or business that are accepting bitcoin cash? i don't think so, so why people should use BCC instead of bitcoin?

Merchant/business might support Bitcoin Cash only if we see very high Bitcoin fees versus low Bitcoin Cash fees. Whether it happens, we have to see. But my understanding is SegWit wont help keeping the Bitcoin transaction fees low in the long run. So in the end, the variant of Bitcoin with lowest fees become preffered. Anyway, competetion is effective way to find optimal solution, so there is nothing to lose from Bitcoin Cash. Actually its win-win situation, because we going to know for sure what path is optimal by trying both.

it depend what you mean with long run, because with double the room for the block limit, i think we can push the value to 8k-10k, before having another issue with high fee, and bitcoin cash high block limit is useless, if no oen is using it for purchase, you need adoption to make the bigger block size worth it, bitcoin cash is just a stupid altcoin lol
2596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 3.2K!! on: August 06, 2017, 09:29:18 AM
BTC is down to 3170 USD now but it may just pause until another rise to the next all time high. Damn, I need a low price to buy more :-)

it possible now with lower fee that bitcoin can go up to 4k, this year, this is also due to bitcoin cash that splitted the hashrate, but on autumn a new pump will come like every year, and increase the value much higher
2597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to buy bitcoin anonymously? on: August 06, 2017, 09:28:22 AM
what about buying them here in the market? you can use a credit card that do not require your personal data, to send the fund to the seller and receive bitcoin in your wallet
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck BitcoinCash on: August 05, 2017, 02:11:05 PM
I bet Bitcoin Cash will replace Core (no offense to anyone) because of being 1:1 clone of Bitcoin but just with 8 MB blocks. SegWit is an altcoin because it differs more than Bitcoin Cash on white paper.

If Bitcoin Cash going to replace Bitcoin, the reason going to be fees. Im interested what happens when Bitcoin fees become very high again.

but segwit is coming, and the fee won't be high again, they are very low now, the bitcoin cash protocol don't scale properly they just added more mb to the block, and also there are merchants or business that are accepting bitcoin cash? i don't think so, so why people should use BCC instead of bitcoin?
2599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 05, 2017, 02:08:28 PM
You're wrong. But we can't check since you don't give any real information.

My btc core wallet held 1.09 more btc than both the bitcoin and bitcoin cash blockchains showed. I sent all of them to the blockchain.info wallet successfully, so I know they were there. I don't have an explanation, assuming I'm telling the truth is there any?
Try to run both wallets with the 'rescan' option and your coins may reappear.
If that doesn't help compare the transaction to blickchain.info with the amounts (per address) present in your bcash wallet to locate the missing one - it may happen that it is a transaction after the split

Here's where I'm at; I deleted my old core wallet and keys and my new core wallet is currently syncing. I have my old wallet backed up on a usb stick. Will a rescan work if I insert the the old wallet.dat file in the new wallet once it has synced?

yeah it work i tried, with some wallet on cold storage usb stick, but i have a question, the bitcoin that i send to the address that hold coin before the frork, will not be counted as a reward for bcc right?

This release is prolly for Volta implementation, nvidia like to give fresh and working driver with a released new card. Every one speak about AMD vegas i think nvidia will do better, less power / more efficienty / more hashrate

whats timing for these new Volta? I could not find anything.

2018, so don't worry about it now, but it's true that volta will be a monster, nothing like the change from maxwell to pascal
