I would even buy your blades if you choose to escrow... TomatoCage / OgNasty / escrow.ms / are all good escrow and do large deals often. I would avoid anyone that comes to you offering escrow though...seems shady
I know you're an honest user and escrow. Just like to know this: An user(maybe a newbie, but why not a member) choose to buy,he send btc to an escrow. Then the user say that he never recieve the item, maybe he choose economic shipping fee without track code, or maybe he just say that never recieve, even if the courier says the pack is delivered and want btc back. Or maybe he say that pack is empty. Or even more, he just say that someone else signed the courier, a friend house, and never recieve the pack and start to sending message to escrow sayng "if you don't send e back btc,i will leave a negative trust". In this case, how i can protect myself? And believe me, that's not a remote possibility. There are so many possibilities to scam, even from who sell, but also from who buy. I was chargeback from paypal in this way. Sended a video card, make a pic before send, than buyers says that he recieve another item and not what he have bought and make a chargeback. And i lost money. From my experience. People that us this excuse for not using escrow are trying to scam.

On a lighter note... 1 New shekel has been bet. The biggest loser by January 1st 2015 me or Guy has to pay the other. Might take charity side bets in escrow and the winners charity gets the proceeds. Im having some pizza and beer for my swan song... I hope guy has his jogging shoes ready!
As for ROI... anyone can check that so debates seem pointless really... Personally I'm more interested in the pickaxe and beyond... with bitmain bitfury owning too much of the network we need to see a greater spread of the network. Sptech is committed to that diversity... I hope we see more East West integration so that the network is properly protected.
Only newbies check the calculators. True miners don't give a f*** about ROI. Everyone and their mother had complaints about ROI going in the fall of 2013. Then boom, they all jumped on the bandwagon when BTC went over $1000. I am now hearing people talking again about ROI. Soon there will be another boom

how i save the otions at corsair 1200i to have 40a
what i must click?
In the Corsair link software go to the power tab. Check OCP box. Then slide your rails to 40A. Now try using it for 3 Neptune boxes.
|
|
|
I dunno: Notice the slider is all the way to the right to get 40A. You can only activate it by checking OCP otherwise it will default to 20A.
|
|
|
Wtf is a virtual rail
Corsair say's the 1200i is single rail but it really isn't. It has multiple rails that have OCP protection to 20A. You can increase the OCP protection beyond 20A using the link software. This power supply is designed to work best in a PC where you can over clock the rails to 40A using the link software.

I can not go more than 375 2 cubes at corsair 1200i more 375 Shut down psu
What the ff ......
I have a corsair 1200i on my computer that would constantly shutdown when the gpu's pulled more than 20A. I have dual water cooled 7990s. I have enabled multi rail OCP in the Corsair and use over clock protection to adjust the rails to allow more than 20A. I am using the Corsair link software to do this. I don't know if there is a way to do this without the software because the default is 20A. So this is probably why more than 2 cubes will shut down the psu. Just my thoughts.

I can't wait for the Friday update. Hope there is news about shipping X-3. They are way late especially after they talked about being on schedule or ahead of schedule.

I have a EK 480 quad radiator for sale. I will also include a Phobya radiator stand - black - Quad - 4x120mm. The stands are new. The radiator has been used for about 6 months. In very good condition with no leaks. This would be great for those looking to do a water cooling solution for a Habanero miner or Technobit Minion. On the forum people are posting about temps that are between 100c to 105c for their Habaneros. WOW talk about frying an egg. A 480 quad radiator would cool those baby's down in no time. My price for the radiator including stand is .15 BTC or 13 LTC. I can also do Paypal for those who prefer this method. Price would be $100. If the buyer is in the continental USA shipping is free. Those outside of the USA I need to charge for international shipping. Let me know if any interest.

Neptune Third Batch 3.3TH/S for $6000. Delivery unknown.
Or
Spondoolie SP30 6TH/S for $5095 and these come with power supplies. Delivery September.
And I missing something?
6TH and comes with power supplies. 2 x 2500 watt supplies? Going to have to put it in a data center. No way you can run it in your garage unless you do some major electrical work.

This is probably off topic so please forgive me. My KNC Jupiter case is all scratched up and looks like hell. I was wondering if anyone has powder coated their case? I called up a company and got a quote for $60 to do a flat black exterior power coat. I would remove all fans and modules and give them the case. What do people here think about the idea? Please don't hate on me

I have a couple of gridseed's running on a raspberrypi with cgminer 3.7.2 and I seeing
"pool 1 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)"
every few minutes. What is this?
your username / password is wrong.... try again Well if shares were not being accepted and I didn't see any Kh on the pool then I would say that is the problem but share are being accepted. So it must be something else. Try a different pool. Thanks all for your help. Got it working now. Was a misconfig in the cgminer.conf file

Yes I think the Avenger's pics are funny too. It is like the guy icebreaker who hade Avenger's role in some other threads. It's just such a wierd way to spend your life but people should do what they want.
Yeah it is to little and mixed information coming out of KnC so they certanly spread some FUD themselves. :-)
Yes people can do what they want. Maybe some want to be seen as a forum hero? Some people are angry or bitter and want to spread hate.

Maybe Black Arrow needs to do what Cointerra is doing and give everyone a extra machine. So if you ordered one x-3 then they give you two x-3's.

Hi, Will you do escrow? If so I will cover the escrow charges and we can open one thru http://btcrow.com/. Where are you located?
|
|
|
I would go with 4 powered usb risers. I purchased 5 off of a guy from ebay for $20 each. Kind of high but they are well worth it. Easier to route cables and the mb sees the cards immediately. I would also go with an open case. Richard sells really nice open cases. http://richchomiczewski.wordpress.com/

No escrow and negative trust makes it hard for someone to do a trade no matter what you claim or how much you have sold in the past.

I built a almost silent rig that is completely enclosed for stealth mining. I used a Lian-Li mid tower aluminum case. The case itself will provide some heat dissipation. I purchased two sapphire 7970 and replaced the stock fans with arctic 7970 coolers which run very quiet. From the two gpu's I get about 1420 KH/s total. Motherboard is a MSI z77a-g45. My temps are 62C and 69C for the gpu's. Not the most efficient use of hardware but if you want to silent mine with no one questioning the machine then this is the way to go.
|
|
|
Open the sides of the cases this will let more of the hot air escape. Also lay the computer on it's side and put a 140MM fan on top of the two gpu's to pull heat away. If this does not lower your temps then time for water-cooling. I am water cooling 2 radeon 7990 with dual quad 120mm radiators. My temps are 60C for the cards.
