There is nothing released yet weeks after the last announcement of PhilsCurrency.
Consequently, or partial consequently, investors likely lost their patience, and they dumped their coins to low price.
For now, Digiwage traded below 30 satoshis, that is unimaginable low price if we turned back to middle of 2018.

265  Other / Meta / Re: The new DT system, updated 02 MAR 2019 on: March 03, 2019, 10:43:40 AM
It seems that 7 weeks after the Default Trust Change, trust abusement has almost gone.
There are very limited unknown, strange new members in the DT Trust List.
It's somehow demonstrate the plan of theymos is right, that the Defaut Trust Change need sometime to corrected itself to be a good one.
By now, around 2 months, it seems started working right as theymos' expectation.
I am never completely tied to anything, but let's try this for at least a few months and see how it works.
266  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: March 01, 2019, 03:20:18 PM
Merit and activity is a two different thing.

Activity count defines potential rank if you are active around the forum for a couple years.
Merit is the ticket to get that potential rank.

It is like taking a higher degree, you take up bachelors to masters and study for years but you need to pass certain exams to achieve the higher title.
Let's imagine that they are something like two criteria:
1) Activity count: plays as count of the absence in classes.
2) Merit point: plays as your points you got in examinations, which used to judge your qualify to rank up next grade or failed.

Thank you.
I use KeePass. I'm not familiar with the other choices.
Did you mean this one, bones261?

Please confirm that what I searched and posted is the right software that you suggested.
I don't want to use phising password manager, LOL.
268  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: February 26, 2019, 02:51:15 AM
In a way, yes. But it's also nice to show the difference between an account farmer and a user who earned his Merit. I think a Newbie with 20 earned Merit is much more impressive than a Legendary with 0 earned Merit.
I can not disagre with LoyceV at this point.

Old undeserved high-rank members will be banned or red-tagged sooner or later anyway.
I don't think so.
Bans or red tags need reasons to occur, so if they don't violate forum rules, they won't be banned or get red tags from DT members.
Even they are shitposters, and repeatedly posting shit, they won't get bans or red tags if they won't violate forum rules.
269  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: February 26, 2019, 02:44:16 AM
So I didn't earn my merit?   Or am I an account farmer?
Currently, you have had exactly 2000 merits in total, 1000 from allocated merits, and the rest 1000 merits earned over more than one year.
Congratulations, you are self-made Ledgendary, for now.

Which password managers are the best that I should use?
Would you mind sharing some good password managers, please.

Which ones are the best among those listed dexes?
How about Cryptrade exchange, that is young.
Do you have any suggestion about Cryptrade exchange?
272  Other / Meta / Re: Force to Reset Password on: February 26, 2019, 01:15:58 AM
Lazy and careless guys will lose their passwords no matter what kind of security solutions implemented by the forum, such as regularly forced reset password.
Why should we be inconvenienced because people are too lazy or stupid to keep their computers and assets safe.
Smartly choosing strong password, and securing computers as safe and secured as possible.
That's all.
273  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: February 25, 2019, 02:47:24 AM
Hmph. I'm not going to sit here helping other people earn new shiny badges and see myself get left out. Tongue Angry From my perspective, this new badge would make me feel so used.  Cheesy
Even when two types of badges for self-made and airdroped users implemented by theymos (but I doubt that the suggestion will be applied), old users/ airdroped users who can highly constructive will have special badges for their excellent, outstanding works with special badge.
Don't worry about that, bones261.  Cheesy

JetCash proposed a new rank for TEMPs, but I think a special badge is enough.
It would be fun to add a new rank for Legendaries who become TEMPs ( Thousand Earned Merit Poster ). It would help us to differentiate between legacy Legendaries, and earned Legendaries. Of course there are legacy Legendaries who are also earned Legendaries, so maybe that isn't a good description.

This could be useful, as some members are attacking legacy members as not being worthy of the title.

It funny seeing a "legenday" or "Hero" member account without even a single earned merit but is yet very active in the forum.
It will not a funny scenario, I belief.
We might see another intensive battle like what happened with Default Trust Change.
274  Other / Meta / Re: Force to Reset Password on: February 25, 2019, 02:28:18 AM
Users should prepare enough both knowledge, skills, and carefulness to protect themselves from hackers.
- Never use always stay log in option.
- Never use the "Save/ Remember password" option.
- Never use same passwords for your different types of accounts, especially if you use same email to register.
- Never use add-ons from unknown third parties
In addition, antivirus and internet security softwares should be used for all your devices that connect to Internet.

Use strong passwords, secure devices, be careful and should stay away from third-party add-ons.
And, stake bitcoin address with signed message to prove ownership.
All of those steps are enough to protect accounts.

Moreover, I totally agreed with what LoyceV said. It turns into very complicated for users to regularly forced password-changing. We all are human, and it is hard to remember all passwords on all platforms. Even composing and saving backups of accounts, and account's passwords take a lot of time.
It is so wasteful!

There are topics that guide on how to secure IDs from threats over Internet space.
[Guide] Bitcointalk account security (sncc)
Recovering hacked/lost accounts (theymos)
Stake your bitcoin address here (Tomatocage)
Do you know how hackers are collecting our data by smartphone & real life? (Coolcryptovator)
Must have web browser addons to keep you a step safer from phishing (logfiles)

For password manager, can you help me links to services.
I have never used password manager for my accounts.
Thank you.

275  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] Enhance the requirements for ranking up to Member position on: February 25, 2019, 02:19:49 AM
I think that increasing merit for junior ranks (Jr.Member, Member) will give a positive result for the forum. This will enable us to quickly find users who abuse the merit system. If the user benefits the forum, then such changes will not frighten him. But fraudsters it will create big problems.
That is what actually happened with demotion in September of 2018.
Then, a wave of demoted Junior Members promoted again with merit abusements found massively.
276  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: February 24, 2019, 04:11:20 PM
For service providers, I think they don't care about their ranks in the forum.
Having rights to show images is enough for them.
Additionally, what they care about probably Green Trust, not rank.

So, if complains occur, they will mainly come from others, who can not earn even single merits more than one year after merit system born.
277  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: February 24, 2019, 04:04:59 PM
Simply requires additional merits beside airdropped ones to maintain ranks.
For example:

Full Members: 110 merits: 100 airdropped merits + 10 earned merits.
Senior Members: 270 merits: 250 airdropped merits + 20 earned merits.
Hero Members: 550 merits: 500 airdropped merits + 50 earned merits.
Ledgendary Members: 1100 merits: 1000 airdropped merits + 100 earned merits.

I had nothing better to do so I manage to verify your initial message.

here is it >

Quoted, verified, archived.

Tried again.
I think finally I known the reasons:
Maybe that guy arbitrarily make line breaks or something like that.
It means something different texts he/she used to sign message in wallet and what he/she posted here.
Line breaks probably the reasons.
It means if that guy want to display full details inside the wallet when making image snapshot, he should make line breaks before clicking on sign button.
Let's try it, I believe two ways will cause two signatures

I tried verifying it with what iasenko did, and successfully verified, archived.
279  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: February 20, 2019, 08:54:50 AM
I think he pasted it into MS word or excel, I have similar problem also in the past.
What I did was I pasted it into text file and then paste in bitcointalk, highlighted all the details then click "insert code".
Code:
Maybe it is the reason of that guy.
Personally, I stake my address by steps:
- Copying and pasting the template into
Code:
template
- Adjusting them with my personal details
- Copying and pasting all of them into my Electrum wallet (or any kind of wallet you use)
- Clicking on sign
- Lastly, copying the signature and pasting it into the forum's thread.
Done!
No problem at all with these steps.
