261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is mining still profitable? on: March 25, 2013, 11:26:35 PM
Depends if your making more then it costs to produce said bitcoins.
Factors could include hardware cost, electricity cost, maintenance etc

What GPUS are you going to be using?
263  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Batch #3 Not selling as fast.... on: March 25, 2013, 09:23:51 PM
I had the order page open... so tempted to hit submit. Just seems like way too many (i.e. almost all) of my recently acquired precious coins... can't pull the trigger.

And then there are people like me who have the money to buy one, but can't get hold of BTC to pay.

Well, congrats. It looks like you will have the time to convert your USD to BTC, the AVALONS are still in stock.
Do we have any idea how many? Last time I looked it was showing 14 available but now it just says that they are in stock.
Not sure if I can stomach the risk of buying a load of BTC to watch them go out of stock tomorrow and the price crash  Cheesy
264  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon - Batch #3 pricing on: March 25, 2013, 03:30:17 PM
Fuck I had 52 BTC ready to buy the avalon, I really wanted to buy Sad By the time I got some more it'll probably be sold out.

EDIT: already sold out, I waited so long for this Sad

They're not sold out, batch #3 hasn't opened yet.
Batch 3 opened about 3 hours ago and is now all sold out!

266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - a 4 unit Avalon..? on: March 05, 2013, 04:54:38 PM
Maybe this is were a majority of the batch 1 preorders went and they are just reselling them =P HAHA
You know, if that was true I would still fly over there and pick a few up, well I say a few, they are quoted at 17kg each so...
267  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 05, 2013, 04:53:17 PM
I surrender! I have not read a single word in this thread, but am I correct in assuming there's another one of these guys that I somehow missed? I've already did my best to tear the other two entities new assholes, and my asshole shredder is getting worn out.

Allow me to get another cup of coffee so that I can read this thread in a more relaxed state. My only hope is that this better me entertaining. Can't wait to read which country this new outfit stems from.
Please refuel the shredder and let's see what a fresh pair of eyes can bring to it all  Cool
268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 05, 2013, 04:17:18 PM
seeing as they offer paypal payment, which can be refunded in 45 days, that at least forces them to ship something...granted it might be an empty box (but as far as i know paypal still overs that)
I've been screwed by someone posting a brick to me once, paypal never covered it because there was tracking info from the seller and no proof from my part, though I've heard similar stories and people have won their case by recording an unboxing video.
Still, I would like to make a flight out there, talk to a real person and hand over real cash.
269  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 05, 2013, 03:59:24 PM
Their website has been updated.

At the contact part it says that "HRP Hungary Kft" is the company behind it. This is the company I wrote about earlier, and the one that the domains were registered to before changing to anonymous, see: http://whois.domaintools.com/btcasic.com
It's a pretty big one. Now that they are putting their name on it, it's much more believable than before.
I'll give HRP a call and see if they know anything, not holding much hopes here though.
Edit* Ugh ok forget that, no ones answering at that number or the telesales line either lol
Edit* Ok so I called the telesales line like 5 times, someone picked up the phone halfway through and just slammed it back down  Roll Eyes
Edit* Wow, what a rude company, FINALLY got through to someone at HRP after they put the phone down on me like 10 times in a row and the guy I spoke to said they have never heard of primeasic nor do they have anything to do with ASIC, more to the point he didn't know what an ASIC was? ...

This don't sound good guys
270  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PrimeAsic - 80 Ghash/sec Asic Miner on: March 05, 2013, 03:47:23 PM
Their website has been updated.
I've called 76 times throughout the day and not once managed to get through, no replies to my emails either.
I was going to book a flight for tomorrow and go pick some up but not now.  Angry

How long is a piece of string?

Interesting, I was working on a prototype with Cyclone chips but stopped. The Stratix chips we were looking at though cost many thousands, I don't want to doubt your supplier but it's really hard to find them 'cheap'
273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a project and need donation/investment/preorder on: March 01, 2013, 09:08:57 PM
What chips are you planning to use?

Nope, not interested in ripple or any other altcoin to be quite honest.

Well you said milf, that picture looks more like a scene from the exorcist  Grin.
278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitstamp closed because of fraud on: February 28, 2013, 06:32:05 PM
Did you try to contact bitstamp?
Someone from bitstamp already replied in this thread, doesn't seem like the problem is with bitstamp's side of things.
279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling Video of Hot Mom (Not Porn) on: February 28, 2013, 06:30:35 PM
I'm not sure where or when to post this, so here and now seems right.

I have a friend with a hot mom, a "MILF" if you will, and I am selling the link to the video of her for .09 BTC (plus transfer fee and small safeguard) It is worth it, as most of the people who are in the video were not informed it has been posted online yet lol. But they all knew (were told and agreed) it would be one day.

If you want the video I will have you send some specific amount (ex: .090000112 BTC) so that I can differentiate and make sure that people aren't lying to me to try to get the link for free.

Just PM me with the title "Hot Mom"

Hey, have you heard about this thing called "The Internet"? It's this amazing online repository of knowledge where you can view thousands upon thousands of hours of pornography for FREE.  You should totally check out "The Internet".

Seriously, with just a few clicks, anybody can find thousands of women as hot or hotter than this supposedly "hot Mom", without spending a penny. Why anybody would spend money on porn is a complete mystery.

THIS ISN'T PORN
But could it?

You tried to link a gmail attachment, I'm guessing that was supposed to be the picture requested?
I suggest, www.imgur.com it's a great website for hosting images.
