101  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Be honest, do you miss CPU/GPU mining days? on: March 05, 2014, 08:26:18 AM
I miss mining 5btc per day from a single 5870 yeah.
102  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: need to get verified on: February 24, 2014, 01:58:08 PM
I (we?) don't verify users like that. You need to establish yourself with the community on your own.
I will not take on liability like that, unless you are a very good personal friend etc.
103  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: VGA oil leak, what could be? pics. on: February 20, 2014, 07:40:57 PM
It's just flux residue left after the washing process (if it was even washed at all), nothing to worry about  Wink
104  Other / Meta / Re: Active Mining - New Moderated Thread - Mods please come back on: February 20, 2014, 04:35:39 PM
I appreciate that - but there isn't a "ban from thread" option - if there was there wouldn't be a problem.
Can you point out the offenders to me and I can recommend a ban if needed? (super busy atm)
105  Other / Meta / Re: Active Mining - New Moderated Thread - Mods please come back on: February 20, 2014, 04:28:06 PM
Moderators very rarely moderate self moderated threads. Self moderation is exactly that, you moderate it yourself (OP).
106  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 750 GH/s - 3TH/s Miners from $3565 - www.bitcoinultra.co.uk on: February 20, 2014, 03:57:59 PM
I'm planning on going up sometime between the 4th - 7th March. Do you guys have any special requests?
If anyone is planning to go visit at the same kind of time I can give you a lift from Birmingham way (throw me a PM).
107  Other / Meta / Re: The mining sections are an unholy mess on: February 19, 2014, 04:06:42 PM
If you put in as much effort reporting posts as you did to whine in this thread the world would be a better place.  Roll Eyes
108  Other / Meta / Re: prohibit self-moderated groub buy sale topics on: February 18, 2014, 11:40:28 PM
Let's keep this on the front page, until they (mods, theymos, etc...) do something about it.
Well if this was posted in the correct forum (Meta) then someone would have seen it earlier.
I don't see the problem having a thread self moderated, its useful at times, for example to remove junk.
If you think someone is a scammer because they use the self moderation features then you should either avoid dealing with that user and/or use the feedback system to warn others.

Generally the services board is appropriate for such offers: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

If you're looking for someone to test and review your hardware please give me a shout (I'm based in the Midlands and willing to travel)

Ha ha, we contacted you two weeks ago and you confirmed that you would test our rig and visit our workshop.

I'll send you a message at the end of this week to arrange a date
You're right, sorry, I lost track of my PM's  Wink

112  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AvalonShenzhen BATCH4 - 25 Avalon 215GH/s BTC1.10 - SCAM!!! on: February 15, 2014, 03:29:10 PM
I just saw he deleted every single page on his thread so I have put in a request to hopefully restore everything. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424621.0)
113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AvalonShenzhen SCAMMER on: February 15, 2014, 03:19:14 PM
I warned the moderators about this muppet and he was allowed to just carry on
Guys, simple put we cannot hold your hands through everything, you need to use your own brain now-and-again.
We have a trust system that is used for exactly this, so please, start using the trust system more (no-one can delete trust ratings apart from the person who sent it).

Edit*: I just saw he deleted every single page on his thread so I have put in a request to hopefully restore the posts. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424621.0)
114  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Avalon1 110-120 GH/s Bitcoin Miner Machines For Sale on: February 15, 2014, 03:11:02 PM
Now you pissed me off...
To be honest I'm not such a "Forums" experienced user, so if you could tell me how should I upload the photos it will be great!

I use www.imgur.com which is really easy to use.
Once you've uploaded a picture, simple copy the code from the section titled "BBCode (message boards & forums)" on the right hand side of the screen and paste it into a message on the forums here.
115  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a way to view your own threads? on: February 14, 2014, 04:49:27 PM
Can't do it without a mod being installed and I'm pretty shocked the advanced search doesn't include this.

Would be a useful feature to have in the future.
116  Other / Archival / Re: SwiftMiner 2.2TH/s BTC Miners Available for March Delivery! on: February 13, 2014, 07:54:12 PM
Hello, I would like to request that my thread "SwiftMiner 2.2TH/s BTC Miners Available for March Delivery!" be deleted altogether. A company only gets one chance to make a first impression, and I would not like our future customers to see all the scam accusations coming from this thread. This could possibly decrease trust in our company. We are planning on re-posting a new thread with much more proof of legitimacy, as to avoid the scam accusations and provide a good first impression to all looking at the thread. If you could get back to us as soon as possible that would be great. Thank you.

Oh well, nothing of value lost there  Cheesy
118  Other / Archival / Re: SwiftMiner 2.2TH/s BTC Miners Available for March Delivery! on: February 13, 2014, 03:11:44 PM
As I've said to a lot of these 'fly by night' 'hardware companies' before, I am very willing to accept delivery of your hardware for testing and review purposes. That offer stands with any company.
Although I'm still waiting for a legitimate party to contact me.
119  Other / Meta / Re: New inline edit? on: February 12, 2014, 12:09:29 PM
It's been there ages, it feels wonky though to me so I don't bother using it.
120  Economy / Lending / Re: I will double your return. on: February 11, 2014, 01:50:56 PM
Okay, before I get started let me explain a little bit about myself and what I do. I have been a stock investor for many many years. I qualified university in 1998 for business management and got my degree. Once I finished university and joined a stock broker firm in London (I am English.) and soon got in to the game of judging stocks and making money I'm now a self-made millionaire. I am creating this thread to double your money. I bet you're thinking: no this cannot be true 'scammer.' I promise you this is 100% true and you will see. I will be doubling your investment within the month, that's right; 1month. No secrets, all from my skill of buying low, selling high. I will be dealing with CryptoCurrency. (I have no need to deal with real money as I am a millionaire.) This is not profit to me. I will be making no money off this. I just want to help you. When you're happy I guarantee you come back for more. Please don't hate in this thread, keep your opinions to yourself, and if you are interested; let me know.
Did you qualify from the university of I don't know how to paragraph my text or what?
