261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban Bitcoin mining ??? on: November 18, 2017, 08:33:48 PM
It'll never happening Smiley). You should know that almost biggest Bitcoin mining factories are being located in China, the amount of money the government get from taxes of these factories everymonth is very huge so I don't think they will ban Bitcoin mining for any reason. But if they will do that I think it'll really bad cause the amount of Bitcoin these factories provide to the world cryptocurrency market everyday is very huge so it'll be a big lost if these factories will be forced to close.

While i would normally say i agree with a assessment like yours in this instance i have to disagree.  China has lots of bitcoin farms not because they have such ultra cheap labor. The reason is because China subsidies for the electricity heavily in their region. Therefore technically someone one could probably use antminer s3 and make good profits as of today. The same goes for people in Venezuela thats why Venezuelan government has bitcoin mining illegal. That does not stop people in Venezuela it just makes miners split up mining operations between a group of homes.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: November 18, 2017, 08:26:37 PM
Don't think it will kill income tax.   Just another new thing in a long line Uber, internet, online, that the governments have to apply tax to.

Frankly I wouldn't mind paying 30% tax if facebook, google and amazon, monsanto, big pharma etc. are also paying their 30%.   That's one of the things so great about bitcoin is that you can follow the money trail.

In all honesty i personally do not think the government will loose on taxes. While the USA government does not see bitcoin as currency they do tax capital appreciation in the same category like art work. I know the IRS has been asking on tax forms since 2014 or 2015 " if you traded bitcoin " in that year.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: November 18, 2017, 08:13:53 PM
I don't believe there is any pyshcal shop within my nation that accepts bitcoin like a setting of payment as well as I've not see any local sites that have an option to pay with bitcoins as bitcoin is still not famous my nation and people are not aware of yet but hopefully things can change in coming years.i

Wow that is really sad to hear about the lack of physical stores or merchants that accept bitcoin in your country, wherever that is. I know here in my country we got major stores like subway, my local bar, and even a limousine service. Then we got retailers like tigerdirect.com, expedia.com, Microsoft and so forth.

265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Roger Ver go to jail again? on: November 18, 2017, 11:33:54 AM
I don't think that any legal action would be taken against Roger ver for his activities since bitcoin is a decentralized currency and it has no central authority. But it is said that Bithumb ,the korean exchange allowed wash trading to manipulate BCH price and it is one of the main reason for high pump of BCH price. In short,it was a master plan carried out to remove the crown from bitcoin, but finally failed.

I am with you on this statement/ opinion that there will be no prison time. If there is any charges will be a soft minimal sentence as was stated there is no regulation set in stone for stuff on crypto currencies. On the pluss side it is another failed attempt on bitcoin that was survived so thats always good.

I checked on how your platform works and seems like a very good idea though there are some that are wtih the same concept, you accept bitcoins and ethereum which I have. Goodluck!

Yeah that will be good to get in, i really wish ico like this would accept fiat for funding from people lile me.

Why will you guys burn all the unsold tokens? Wouldn't that be a downside of this?

The reason they destroy tokens is the same as with any other company. It helps keep investment confidence up that way we wont say founders getting more tokens

Honestly, even I don’t have funds to be part of the investment team as of now,(maybe soon), I know how promising this concept by angel token and @690% bonus is a proof of they’re sincerity to give the result every investors hoping for and trusting with.
For now the first thing I can do is to support something you believe in and do things that is the best for this project. Promoting and spreading the word and how angel token will soon be the big thing that will be undisputedly and highly invested in the crypto world. (I’m glad to be part of the campaign participant and also looking forward to work my way to support this project on social media campaigns).

Great project 👍 Great team(all) 👍 Good manager 👍 surely means
Good & Great Angel tokens Future

I agree with you 100 percent and i am in the same boat. I do not have alot of funds to participate in this right now. What i am doing is i am doing their campaign and with payments i will use a portion to buy my way into the ico lol. So the more i make the more i can participate, i know it is not the big money solution but it is me as a little fish wanting to participate.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoins are stolen on: November 17, 2017, 05:02:00 PM
Hello everyone,

Today ive checked my wallet and everything is gone! i have to say my computer is fresh it is reinstalled yesterday and didnt download anything weird. i have the password in my mind and the peer code on paper!

my wallet was electrum, im almost sure electrum or the gouverment has stolen my money becouse they know exactly everything and the adress where it has send to has over 10+ million euro in bitcoins traded

this is realy frustrating and i lost my trust in bitcoin

My bitcoin adress is 12kBXoEfwZiv2vRk77eLnzb9SRtRJeTSnm

transaction id is 5b1b7b86b62b3e4aa5aa3c24daeefb0c484bcda4f795c9d3ddc1fe8f596d6f1d

https://btc.com/0000000000000000008edd67fe98035967b1a82957e6a474051e5f926a64d209 here u can see the transactions over 10 million

just to make clear, i know i did not click any phishing site i have knowledge how to make these and how to make a virus that remotes a computer and bypass antivirusses

you have a silent phishing site that you go on and get a virus immediately without clicking anything
and you have a virus that goes to your computer by running a java script and i know 100% sure this is not the case unless its electrum or the gouverment

First of all let me say how sorry i am sorry to hear this happened to you. This is the one bad thing about crypto because even physical gold bars can be insured. Now i know you said never clicked on anything. Remember some of this new computer attacks come from criminals who act like they probide computer update.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: American Investors Plan to “HODL” Bitcoin Until Price Hits $196,000 on: November 17, 2017, 04:45:25 PM
So,its clear that they are going to hold bitcoins as a long term investment.More people having such an attitude is good for bitcoin because bitcoin price will remain a little bit stable during chaos instead of price facing a huge dip due to newbies selling it frequently due to panic and destabilizing the price.

I think that in future, more people would have that same attitude all over he world.Mostly,Bitcoin would be used as commodity for 95% and only 5% as currency

Yeah i had seen the article the op mentioned on here. Now   things get a little more complicated when we think about holding versus spending.  I for example had to fix the engine in my car right away.  I did not want to wait 11 days till i got paid because i did not want to car pool. So the $600.00 engine repair i did and paid with bitcoin ended up costing me by todays value about $4000.00 . Honestly i would have preferred to get a payday loan to pay or i could just have waited 11 days lol.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin segwit2x on: November 17, 2017, 04:28:03 PM
Is this serious? I thought the fork was cancelled.
Could you post a screenshot of the message telling that transactions are disabled?

He or she is being serious.  I myself personally logged into coinbase about 4 hours ago from when i am posting this post.  I got the same message saying there would be a stop on buying and selling for a bit. A screen shot is not needed in my opinion but if you have a coinbase account rest assured they sent out email about 12 hours ago for your convenience..
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the World’s Largest ATM Manufacturers Announces Bitcoin Support on: November 17, 2017, 03:10:44 PM
For me, this is a good news but people are looking for ways to buy a bitcoin cheaper so why would they choose using expensive method of buying cryptocurrency if there are lots of ways that we can buy it cheaper. That is why I think it will not have that much impact on Bitcoin. I've used it once and will never go back unless it's the only way to buy a bitcoin.

ATMs are traditionally the most expensive way of getting bitcoins and I really don't understand the enthusiasms for it either.

The fees are (at least in my area ) from 4.5% (though I've never seen that atm in real life but it is still on coinradar) to 10%.
That is outrageous !!!!
If I would be buying 1000 euros worth of bitcoin I would pay 100 in fees at the ATM and only 12 euros for bank wire/fees on exchange.
Or I could go with localbitcoins and spend only 3-5% extra and buy the same small amount.
I know somebody in my town that deals even with sums as low as 50 euros in person so no banks.

Of course, when you're the one putting the ATMs out there and charging those fees the picture is turning pink and unicorns with dollar bills are flying around. So it's natural that the vultures companies are getting involved.

I read the news just a few hours ago about this company. Now they are in Asia only at this ppint with a few atms in the USA. Mostly in gas stations or shops nothing major so far. While the fees are high you have to remember the old saying.  People will pay more for convenience and speed. Besides this vultures like you say create jobs and help support the growth in my opinion
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make passive income with BTC wealth? Ideas? on: November 17, 2017, 02:48:28 PM
if I think your idea is good I agree if partly to buy property but if to enter in stock company I do not agree, because better of rest of buy property better to save in bitcoin that look bigger than stock market company, that if my idea sir.

Well we all agree on the fact real estate property is a good buy whether it is a primary home or a investment home. I would also suggest paying off high interest loans and credit cards. In the event something bad happens at least you are debt free. Stocks are also good but normally the big boring companies like walmart or Coca-Cola are good choices.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Laundering on: November 17, 2017, 02:26:10 PM
I want to hodl until the day we don't have to change back to fiat, where I can buy everything I want directly with crypto.

I like the way you are thinking about holding your bitcoins until such a time in the future. I must admit i know fiat will always be around. It is nice to know that i may some day walk into walmart and pay in pure bitcoin and not have to relly on third party debit cards.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 trade.io 🔷[ANN] [PRE-ICO] 🔷Trade Token 🔷 JOIN THE TRADING REVOLUTION on: November 17, 2017, 01:57:01 PM

Help me to understand here something. This is your Ether account: 0x58f75dDACFFB183a30F69fE58a67a0d0985fce0F. There I see 8.600 ETH total, collected for over a month time. Only few contributions with more than 25 ETH (required minimum for Liquidity pool). Absolute majority of contributions - 0.1 to 5 ETH. In your annuncement above you state that response to your liquidity pool is overwhelming. I do not see it from your Ether account, so can you explain what I'm missing? Now you're lowering the limit for participation in the liquidity pool to 500 Trade Tokens from previous 5000.  Why then you're lowering the minimum pool limit when things are so great?

Very logical questions!

1) As for the Ether Wallet, trade.io accepts not only ETHER but especially for the PRE-ICO it also accepts Fiat payments with bank wire transfer! Thus a large amount of funds came from deposits.

2) The response to our liquidity pool has been overwhelming. However, the feedback by some in our community is how they can participate if they don’t have the minimum 5,000 TradeTokens. Well, management has taken this feedback into consideration, and is happy to announce a revised liquidity pool schedule that allows those with as few as 500 TradeTokens the ability to participate using a graduated schedule.

So basically to my understanding is that many people wanted to participate in the trade.io project but wanted to do so if there was a chance to participate in the Liquidity Pool. Because there's many people that wanted this, management found a fair way to make this happen.

The table found above, illustrates how a participant with 5000 Trade Tokens, gets 110% participation, so that people who already have participated with trade.io get an added benefit.

At the end of the day, the bigger the pool, the better for me and you and everyone. Is a win-win situation here.

Full article from Management Blog:
https://medium.com/@trade.io/new-participation-schedule-participate-in-the-liquidity-pool-from-500-trade-tokens-98bc06b269d9

This is some great news indeed i would say. I myself was honestly had some concerns that the 5000 token limit would only benefit larger investors only. Some people can't afford 1000 tokens much less 5000 tokens.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 📱 AppCoins - The New Blockchain-Based Protocol For The App Stores 🔋 on: November 17, 2017, 01:38:55 PM
We need an alternative to google play. It is very good that appcoin is taking that challenge head on. Google can not just be everything, there must be powerful competitor from cryptosphere and to be honest, I love what you are doing at appcoin!
Let us not forget apple store, but if this does let us say even just 10 percent of Google play or apple store transactions. That will be enough to have more growth i personally think.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: November 16, 2017, 11:46:25 PM
Many experts say bitcoin can hit $30,000.00 per coin by 2020. Honestly when i first seen that report i laughed back in April 2017. Here we are a few months later and i see that being possible in my opinion. Now i know some people say litecoin is better due to fees and speed but i dont agree.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other way to transfer or withdraw your BTC on: November 16, 2017, 07:12:41 PM
If you have a big amount of BTC, is there a way to transfer or withdraw the amount without getting the bank or the authority suspicious of you?

It depends what is you definition of a large amount and what country are you in. The sad thing is bitcoin growing up and that means lots of goverments want their cut in taxes. They might say bitcoin is a fraud and used for bad things but that dont stop the tax man when it is harvest time lol.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: November 16, 2017, 04:36:05 PM
In fact no one would not spend bitcoint if the value is falling to zero. It´s just a theoretically exchange of thougts. If the price is falling there will be a dynamic of selling.

But interesting question. People need to become very stupid if they are watching their money geting burned down.Good

I personally think the opposite will happen unless op had other scenarios. If people hoard the 16.5 million bitcoin now without spending any then the price will go up. So the few bitcoins being mined will soar in price as people want them. If they have to fight other customers then price goes up. If miners want to hoard coins then price will still go up as customers try to entice miners to sell.
