261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Contrary to Mt.Gox’s Statement, Bitcoin is not at fault - Gavin Andresen 10/2/14 on: February 11, 2014, 07:24:58 PM
Gox had a foolish way of checking whether people had been paid or not.  It's not inherently Bitcoin's fault that they did that.  It was clear that people would change transaction IDs so I really do think it was Gox that messed up.  Sure, Bitcoin and the Foundation can change it but it's not like BTC was inherently flawed.  It can be changed to make it easier in the future though.  But this selling, I do blame totally on Gox and I don't think you can disagree.

I'm not selling, I am worried but not selling...while I guess others are panicking to be selling at these prices.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me what kind of attackers can launch such large scale attacks? on: February 11, 2014, 07:18:34 PM
Gox to prove a point, bunch of jerks

or to buy btc at a lower price because they messed up and need cheap btc.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Exchanges Affected - Possible Global Shutdown on: February 11, 2014, 06:34:46 PM
check out btc-e...already rebounded big time.

I think BTC means business, can't be stopped now.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Exchanges Affected - Possible Global Shutdown on: February 11, 2014, 06:32:53 PM
This "possible global shutdown" talk is FUD.  Come on man
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Situation under control! on: February 11, 2014, 06:32:25 PM
Situation normal...

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you...How are you?

267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Exchanges Affected - Possible Global Shutdown on: February 11, 2014, 06:15:22 PM
Do these attackers still believe they can dupe sender into sending coins twice or are they just out to create havoc and force a drop in prices. Somewhere I guess people are putting large buy orders on low prices.

Agreed....someone was speculating it is gox who messed up with funds and now needs to buy btc cheap to pay people.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Gox actively attacking the network? on: February 11, 2014, 06:14:25 PM
it'd be great to something something fast from the foundation.  BTC is falling fast
269  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 11, 2014, 05:42:06 PM
Hi Bitbook. I love your site but there is something little that has been bothering me. I bet a lot of college basketball games, but there is no consistency in the way the home and away teams are presented. For example, tomorrow there is NC State vs. Wake Forest with the NC State line (home team) being posted on top of the Wake Forest line (away team). In the next bet however, Notre Dame vs. Clemson, the Clemson line (away team) is being posted on top of the Notre Dame line (home team).

This has been confusing as the top line is always the away team and the bottom line is always the home team everywhere else, but on your site it seems to be randomly fluctuating. This can be quite confusing when scrolling through the list of games.

I believe when you look at the title it is presented as "HOME vs AWAY (Sport)"

No I have also noticed, the home vs away teams seem like they are randomly on there.  Sometimes first, sometimes second.  It happens in soccer too I think.

Please grade Kleybanov (women's tennis).  Cibulkova withdrew.

Is the number already picked or "written" somewhere?  otherwise, couldn't this all be a scam?

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has everyone seen the new Altcoin....... TittieCoin! 1million giveaway! on: February 11, 2014, 05:03:49 PM
Yeah, sounds legit.  It's nice when the devs make the name of the coin like this so it shows they are just interested in a quick buck.  Can you imagine the alt catching on, 50 years from now a 70 year old woman says, "I'll sell you my car for 5,000 tittiecoins."
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NCAAB PIX (50-6) on: February 11, 2014, 04:44:26 AM
I have to agree with the people questioning the value of Ryan's picks. Ryan you can't just post these picks and say yeah you do a parlay with them. You have to say which teams you are putting in each parlay and for how
Much. Like tonight Kansas lost...was Kansas in all your parlays? How would we know?

Yeah they need to focus on premium because we r getting killed here. I think premium was technically plus units today but I wasn't because they had u199 which they got a push on but I could only get u198 so I lost

Dude I don't know how they  helped you turn 8 BTC into 27
BTC... Hasn't happened this week unless you've played random picks from them.

277  Economy / Gambling / Re: ฿itChaser's Sharp Betting Tips on: February 10, 2014, 08:19:54 PM
so you've bet a certain amount on each game on top (let's say .05 btc) and then you bet .05 on Maryland +11?
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 10, 2014, 08:18:06 PM
Bitbook, what is going on here?  Tennis grading has slowed down big time and you get all snippy with us for complaining...the fact is it's taking many hours to grade tennis bets lately.
279  Economy / Gambling / Re: ฿itChaser's Sharp Betting Tips on: February 10, 2014, 08:16:07 PM
wait are you saying to take the moneylines on all those games?  or will you post "picks" later?
280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: February 10, 2014, 07:39:30 PM
this directbet is interesting because it cuts down on the risk of keeping your btc with another site/address.  Are you payouts after the games are over fast?  The only downside I see is that I have to pay a transaction fee with every bet I make.
