261  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Easy setup and use Coinjoin or Darkwallet on: September 28, 2015, 06:30:16 AM
Fellow Bitcoiners,

Ever since the announcement of coinjoin and darkwallet I was very interested into further anomynizing my bicoin use.

Yet every tutorial since this day has failed for me personally. I'm not that tech savy, the greatest accomplishment for me was getting my bitfury's to work, that took me over a week Smiley

Once in a while I check google, bitcointalk and more to see if there's has been released a version of coinjoin or darkwallet which any user just can use. Just install, deposit funds and start mixing.

The reason why it has also failed is that I dont trust myself enough to just try it with a large sum, I'm no whale sadly Smiley

Can anyone point me in the direction of an easy to use, fullproof way of using coinjoin or darkwallet.

Any help would be much appreciated!
262  Economy / Economics / What do you estimate the bottom value of Ethereum at? on: September 28, 2015, 06:12:42 AM
Fellow bitcoiners,

When I first heard and read about ehtereum, I was very ciked. A protocol to which every online service can build a layer on top to make use of the trust the p[rotocol brings with it, think about contracts, governing, everything can be decentral as a result Smiley

Yet I knew the price was very much inflated at the start, as usual with pre-sales. Eventhough I know Ether could be worth much more than 0,05, since it has the possibility and ambition to encorporate EVERYTHING into the blockchain!

I'm still waiting, lurking to buy at the right time. I allmost bought a shitload @ 0.003, glad I waited, since this morning it was yet lower again.

I'm interested in views others, positive negative and any predictions on price, based on your views or arguments.

In crypto it's not allways arguments that win, but I want to know what the community thinks about bottom price, and the protocol ehtereum itself Smiley

265  Economy / Economics / Re: Silk road impact on BTC price ? on: September 25, 2015, 06:56:27 AM
So what was the impact of Silk road both first and second version , I assume I wasen't here on the opening of Silk road 1.0 or when it closed aswell ... I don't remember what happened to the price when the 2.0 closed honestly wasen't much interested in knowing this kind of stuff , was just checking preev.com , whatever the price is .. I trade/sell/buy and GG Shocked

Question is not for only silk road , but Darknet in general basically . Grin

In my opinion, it makes the base price. Look at DRK or DASH, as soon as some dnm's added it, it went through 0.01. The original price spike which made bitcoin shoot out of the pennies and in to the tens of dollars was thanks to dark markets.

Still wondering why so little dnm users use dash, so much safer if used properly Smiley
266  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining Profitable? on: September 25, 2015, 06:53:00 AM
Assuming you don't have a current rig to set up, is it still possible to make money mining?  I am thinking not because of electricity cost/etc.  But I just wanted to come ask the question that has been asked numerous time since the start,

Can you actual profit by purchasing rigs and mining?

The only way to make money of mining is so incredibly large scale, and then you're still talking about pennies. Or if you dont have to pay for electricity at all, like Turkmenistan or other countries where you can pay off officials Smiley

The misconception seems to be that mining was ever profitable, it never was. Only for a real short period when the gold rush and the spike to 1100 dollar came, then it was very profitable, and a lot of people that stept into bitcoin then lost alot of mining in mining. They bought in the high days, and crasht and had to sell everything low...

Mining isnt profitable and therefore also leads to centralization sadly. Staking isnt much better, an even way for distribution, the holy grail hasnt been found yet Smiley
267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: September 25, 2015, 06:40:24 AM
I sold alot of stuff for bitcoin. In stead of giving it away or putting it on Ebay, I try to sell everything for Bitcoin, this made me enough coin to buy mining equipment within 2 months in 2013, so I got a bit of the gold rush, but still very small time Smiley

I still try to seel for bitcoin, especially if the rte is low, more bitcoin for my old stuff Grin
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [VNL] Vanillacoin, a quiet word of warning. on: September 25, 2015, 06:38:45 AM
No one even remembers this coin, I know I don't.  If he has shuffled a group of victims off elsewhere, not much to do about it unless they come back to BCT and see your warning.

Lately I saw an increase of people posting positively about Vanillacoin that its so underrated bladiebla:) Mostly newby accounts, but still it seems the guy wants one last dump and than is out Smiley
269  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: September 25, 2015, 06:32:23 AM
i think yes

The data and evidence found with official agencies is overwhelming at this point, not only is there evidence that the're were aliens here before, there is evidence that activity is increasing and some scientist are convinced we're being monitored.

Alot of info points that we as a race we'll be informed by our governments in a few years, simply because it isn't feasible anymore in light of all the evidence, just look the docu the unexplained files of NASA. Not everything you see are aliens, but there have happened a few things in space, on video and trough testimony of high ranking officals, aircraft and shuttle pilots that can only be explained by another intelligent race. Also the object scientist have seen and videotaped through telescopes going about 8 times the light of speed.... Which isnt possible in nature itself, it must be created, allthough our science says it can't be done Smiley This is recorded and reported by nasa and can be looked up.

If you search for it, you can't deny it anymore, truly...
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin" XT Status Update on: September 25, 2015, 06:25:49 AM
gavincoin

Well, that's didn't last long.  The area under the line represents lulz proportional to the degree of Peter R's failure to convince anyone important that XT/101 was a good idea.

Thank fucking god! But it seems btc price is rising again, so who's gonna be the next idiot acting on his own and ripping the community apart, and convincing all the naysayers of opensource in general even more....

After all this drama in bitcoin world, cloud, scams, hardware issues, crash in december to allmost 100 dollar, we were allmost back at 350 euro's and then the community creates its own problem, an non-consent fork, and down to 150 again, unbelievable, mining is not only not profitable, you must be bad crazy or crazy rich to keep on doing it, I sure as shit cant mine anymore with this price. Sadly, because I didn't do it for the money, but I cant affort to invest this much to mine...

i have question.
if i have backupwallet and it has 1 adress.
then i made another adress 2 ,and another 3 .Should i make new backup for every new addres? or not.

Offcourse, once you made an address, it's only present in the .dat file, not in your backup Smiley
272  Local / Markt / Re: Te koop gevraagd 4x Antminer S3 on: September 17, 2015, 07:48:20 AM
iemand? Huh

Het zou helpen als je er bijzet wat je ervoor over hebt, het zijn nog best efficiente machines welke ook nog eens probleemloos en vrij geruisloos werken in vergelijking met andere miners.

Wat is de prijs die je ervoor over hebt?
273  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Localbitcoins and I on: September 17, 2015, 07:41:35 AM
There are many scammers and drug dealers using localbitcoins, so it is extremely sensitive from law enforcement point of view. The site should have implemented AML and KYC measures to reduce the amount of fraud and illegal acitivities, but since there are no law currently require an escrow service to do that (I think it will come sooner or later), it is totally up to the dealer to follow the AML and KYC rule (I guess most of the pro traders on the platform do that)

So I just read BurtW (I think thats his name) post about getting into trouble with homeland security for trading on localbitcoins. Was it something that he did wrong or did he do something he wasn't aware of? Didn't delcare taxes etc.

Is it safe for me who lives in Germany to use the service? Maybe the site is illegal in the states?

Localbitcoins is sinking.... Traded frequently on it till a year ago, now they block your account under suspicion, even if you have done NOTHING. They're just ridiculous Smiley

To be hoenst I been with them for a number of years never had any problem but seeing a lot of down trends with them and volume of trades going though on it or even seeing it being really active like it use to be. As you said few years back it was good. Now well it is a tough battle when their far better places popping up to use and trade with and exchange your coin into fiat. I give it a few more years maybe they will be at the bottom of the list, who knows but time will only tell.

Actually, our fraud rate is less than 0.5% right now. it's gone down significantly from the start of the year.  And volume wise we're up around 40% from the start of the year.

Really interesting how thats possible, NON have reacted on my trades for the past six months, while that used to be about 3/4 a WEEK! Trade volume up? I highly doubt it. Maybe you're talking about an area in particular, overall the facts speak different sadly....

Can someone make sure we get more action on Reddit (and get listed on Alexa)
Can you all invite all your FB contact to like our GRS community page.

I loggin in on reddit and for the life of me I cant seem to find the reddit forum on Groesl, maybe thats the reason there isn't much action Smiley

Gaat erg goed met de koers, 6000 satoshi +

☺️

Lekkah lekkah, als we maar 10000 satoshis wordt het al veel interessanter om 100 efl te krijgen Wink Misschien zelfs nog wat hoger voordat je weer met uitdelen begint Smiley

Good that VOD didn't see it Wink That nice trust would be gone...

VoD has issues with newbies and besides i've been requesting loans even when he is around.. so stop posting irrelevant post for your signature campaign. Thank you! Smiley

Thats a pretty big assumption on your side, it was just something that catched my attention, nothing more nothing less. Irrelevant posting isnt the case, it was pretty darn relevant to the topic, if VOD saw it without colletaroll, you know the deal with him Wink

Just a tip, we're not all the same, and I dont post purely for my sign accoutn....

What is with the recent price fall, anyone have a reason for it? Liked the stability, but lately not so much Smiley
