161  Economy / Speculation / Re: CNBC Article: Bitcoin spikes 70% in a month; nobody knows why on: November 04, 2015, 06:06:47 AM
Nobody knows why, offcourse there is some manipulation, but bitcoin was HEAVILY underrated this past year, the network couldnt be maintained for long with that ridiculous low price, regarding the economy and power that has been put in the protocol.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k???? on: November 04, 2015, 05:58:50 AM
$10k=2016

your thoughts?

Wishing, hoping, but if that happens, bitcoin would be illigal in a few weeks...
163  Economy / Economics / Re: The truth about the current bubble on: November 04, 2015, 05:58:00 AM
Nope, but it's still rising too fast, something still looks fishy.
And I hoped for some possible answers, not for silly games  Huh

Bitcoin was HEAVILY underrated, it is the first, it is the most prooved and accepted, also the network couldnt be maintained with the price bitcoin had the last year, power costs money Wink
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is laptop mining will kill my HDD? on: November 03, 2015, 05:09:55 AM
Hi there!
Sorry for the insane/noob question.
As the topic said, laptop mining (i'm using minergate) will kill my laptop's HDD?
Actually i'm asking this because, one of my HDD was dead because of (i don't know) mining?
I didn't even ran any special software than.

I would seriously doubt that mining cryptonight based coins would kill your HDD... I'm pretty sure it would be a drain on your PSU, CPU, graphics card,... But i wouldn't know why it would kill your HDD...

I might be mistaking tough.

Because of the heat, same applies to gaming laptops, absurd, because the economic life is cut in a 1/4... Laptops arent build to lose heat quickly, obviously Smiley

that if some malicious hacker group hacked into my favourite exchange they can access my personal shlt and even the wallet I deposit funds to everything is recorded on an exchange and im worried that some

some sociopath looks up my address and then finds out where I live and holds me ransom the looney could do anything put a gun to my head there is so much evil in the world and with the recent TalkTalk & Vodafone hacking recently and the infamous dark web where all your shlt is shared and abused any hitman pedo can find out at the right price it makes me sick

there has to be something better than hope n pray sooner or later i fear the exchange i use will be hacked i am very very scared indeed

How's that different than getting robbed mugged shot stabbed in the street, can happen too man...

167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $350 during november? on: November 02, 2015, 08:23:29 AM
Chances are high that it will reach 400/500, yet no-one knows which idiot is going to fuck up the community by trowing yet another bat in the henhouse...
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: October 31, 2015, 12:38:16 PM

It is the same because they are both currencies. It is different because bitcoin is a store of value. It will rise in value in long term. The dollar always drops in value.
I agree with you that value of bitcoin will be rise in long term and i think should invest it but i don't think so that dollar always drops in value. It depends on the condition of the future
[/quote]

So many things can happen that would render Bitcoin obsolete, the protocol is deflationary by definition, but there are many, MANY other factors that could have a negative impact on the price of Bitcoin...

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan and hope for a bright future of Bitcoin, but chances are high that mass adoption will be achieved by another service based on blockchaintech, please be aware of just how risky crypto atm is Smiley
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is buying/selling Bitcoin so difficult? on: October 31, 2015, 12:29:19 PM
I think you are just unlucky with the country you are in at the moment.

Here in The Netherlands it is extremely easy to buy and sell bitcoins. We have a service (bitonic), which allows you to buy and sell directly through your bank account using a local payment system (iDeal). No extra information is required, extremely nice to use. Fees depend on the amount you want, for bigger amounts it is less.

The same applies to paying bills with bitcoin in the Netherlands, any sepa banktranfer can be done using services like bitbill or bitwa.la.

What's with the Dashcoin?  Please tell them to use DashPay or Dash, eh?  I'll complain myself, LOL Smiley

we got the story corrected
but the link is still the link
(they will not change that as then all their posts are invalid !
 Wink

There was no premine!? Dont get me wrong, fan and holder of dash, but there was a dodgy premine...

172  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 29, 2015, 06:01:09 AM
Please realize that the last bubble was pure and simple manipulation, MTgox together with some serious hedgefunds (read capital) exploded the price.

Don't get me wrong, I do think bitcoin should be worth alot more than this dump price, yet I'm not so optimistic about the timeframe. I sure hope so, but I dont think its likely that we'll see a double bubble, 300/400 woould be more realistic I think Smiley
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to move my wallet from blockchain.info to an other provider? on: October 29, 2015, 05:55:17 AM
Try to sort a wallet file yourself, run a client on your computer. With offline 40 character passwords, no-one can get your bitcoin, sadlywith any third party, you just don't have that security.... People and companies can vanish or go bankrupt...
174  Other / Off-topic / Re: They are pissed with me on: October 27, 2015, 12:14:03 PM
So today I tried educating some bunch of Ponzi enthusiast who doesn't even have any idea what kind of scheme they are throwing their money on and guess what? They were kind of pissed at me like I did something wrong to them. It's as if they were a bunch of kinds that lost their fairytale hopes. I just stated some facts to them. LOL. Cheesy

I wonder how long will they survive their chosen path in the bitcoin community.  Huh

haha this reminded me when one of my friends sent me a link to an obvious ponzi. This was about 5-6 years ago, after telling him it's obviously going to steal your money he just got pissed off at me and said I was jealous cause I hadn't found it first.

A couple weeks later he stopped mentioning the site so I guess his money was gone already. Cheesy

What I still dont understand is the joy people take in this, regardless if they get pissed off, these are bitcoin enthusiasts who problably will stop using it because of shit like this, very bad 4 bitcoin...
175  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ★ NEW COINS ADDED ★ Casascius ★ Lealana ★ Kialara ★ ANACS Graded ★ PHYSICAL COIN on: October 27, 2015, 05:44:22 AM
New prices on the funded coins I have available.

This is as low as I'm going on these coins - no offers - listed prices are firm.

Prices include worldwide tracked shipping worth around 0.1BTC so these are fairly priced I feel.

I still dont know which 3 kialara's you, especially the third, have no idea whcih one is that Smiley Pics?
176  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info Problem with Wallet on: October 26, 2015, 05:58:36 AM
Hi guys.

yeah, I changed my wallet to coinbase.

Even my old blockchain.info wallet had problem now; somethin' is weird, but...

thnks for th opinions.

Coinbase is very slow compared to blockchain and they dont allow the users to send small bits to another address. They require over 6-8 confirmations while blockchain requires 3-4 to spend the bits. That was the main reason I shifted to blockchain and now I'm trying xapo.

I hate their security settings, they treat every user as an idiot, safe yes, annoying, even more....
177  Local / Markt / Re: Bitcoins te koop omgeving Rotterdam/Den Haag on: October 26, 2015, 05:54:14 AM

178  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: laptop into miner on: October 26, 2015, 05:47:40 AM
Is it possible and worth the effort? If i turned my laptop into a miner only, would I be able to generate enough BTC to do anything with?

Offcourse you can mine alot of other altcoins, but dont expect to get rich, if you pick the right one, there's allways a possibility at profit, but he, a dump is more likely than profit. Do it to get yourself known with the ins and outs, not to get rich Smiley

SHA256, the prtocol of bitcoin, isnt feasible anymore with a cpu or gpu, you need asics Smiley
179  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEXIO or ZEUSHASH on: October 26, 2015, 05:45:51 AM
bitminter.com, cex.io I was a big fan, but the luck of their miningpool was allmost a full year below 100%, they are thieves, simple as that Smiley

Bitminter all the way Smiley
