I just tried to use your site for the first time and it says not avalible in Australia, are you planning on opening this up to us in the future?

It's due to legal issues there, so use tor or a proxy or something.

Does this mean that Australian players using the site could be at risk even if they use a proxy? I haven't read anything about bitcoin gambling laws in Australia?

Only when the governments earns, it's legal, else not Smiley
1242  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats the best thing about Gambling? on: December 19, 2014, 09:44:26 AM
The best thing about gambling is that you win
I wish that was true all the time. You actually lose more than wins

That's true, otherwise gambling wouldn't be profitable for the site owners, yet there's a real chance of winning big, that's why people do it Grin

1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 19, 2014, 07:10:12 AM
Litecoin will rise after bitcoins decline but if it happens in december, it will be most likely december of next year

What are your arguments for this claim?
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin.com/pay-here — Meet our awesome community on: December 19, 2014, 07:03:30 AM
So I am not bumming anyone. I am a big NLG supporter.
In my view the success of NLG depends on the adoption of the coin by the Dutch population.
The sooner the better, because the momentum is fading. That worries me.

Apologies for my sarcastic reply earlier, haha, but what momentum is fading?

We've seen more requests for free 100NLG the past week and we're adding merchants on the regular.

Remarks like 'fading momentum' make me feel you do not follow any updates or bother to open timeline.guldencoin.com and https://distribution.guldencoin.com/#/stats. That's why you probably get some of the responses you got.

Or read recent publications about NLG in NL news:
www.emerce.nl/wire/betalen-digitale-gulden-rukt-nederland
www.zoetermeernieuws.nl/2014/12/bij-house-of-blue-jeans-zoetermeer.html

Meije reached out to students at the University of Utrecht and I'm about to release something cool for NLG and crypto in general - https://forum.guldencoin.com/index.php?topic=725.msg8534#msg8534

Then LTEX's plan that will launch in 14 days.

So I don't really understand your perspective.

Bitcoin is the biggest Crypto atm, yet since 2009 there are only a few 100.000 people actually using it. If you extrapolate this to NLG, the adoption has been huge, and the development also, just take some time, crypto is way ahead in technology, so adoption will be slower then say a Apple iphone Wink
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Issue with Litecoindark dev (vicvelcro) on: December 18, 2014, 01:52:43 PM
cryptodouble.com will double your coins in just 100 hours! 200+ different types of cryptocurrency are available! welcome!

1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for guldencoin on: December 18, 2014, 05:54:53 AM
Tell me, do all those sites happen to be registered to your name? Because that is one of the oldest tricks in the book: start pumping fake news about some new 'paradigm' out there, and reinforce that news with websites that say the same. I have very good reason to be suspicious given what happened in the altcoin pump and dump game, and this is no different. Just know that there is impunity for you if you happen to be a scammer and that you won't get away with fraud.

Oh, man... that's comical.

Do yourself a favor and read up on the thread.  I'm sure you'd retract your statement once you did.

1250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cex.io on: December 17, 2014, 10:06:36 AM
Josh Garza @ Gawminers has been repeatedly caught lying to clients and deleting posts to cover up negative publicity, despite this they have some evidence they are actually partially mining their sold hash rate.

They have -  No public mining address / no user selectable pool, Open ended IPO , and a referral program that doesn't add up all indicating they are partial ponzi's and fractionally reserve mining.

Hashie has No public mining address / no user selectable pool, No endorsement from any asic vendor, No relevant pictures of their hardware and datacenter, Open ended IPO, Referral programs that don't add up, Anonymous operators,  .... all indicating that it is clearly a ponzi.

It is trivially easy to prove these companies have the hashpower they claim with the blockchain. Why aren't they doing so?

P.S... I quote the relevant spots merely to be concise and for readability, as long as you don't edit your comments people cannot take you out of context and I have no intention in quote mining.

Would be very easy to prove their own hash power like you said. I don't know what their intentions are but I won't call them ponzi's yet. Partial mining and not showing any hash power is however suspicious enough to remove them both from my website (done). Something shady is clearly going on.

Simple, they ssaw the succes of PB, and thought, we can do that better Grin
1251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cex.io on: December 16, 2014, 03:26:22 PM
Gaw has shown proof of actual mining being done, not like Pbmining having shown NO proof of mining being done, and for a while nobody on this forum, wanted to hear anything bad about them. { I have spoken out on them, from the start, check my post history }

When I think a company is doing full ponzi, I will pull my support. Until then, I will support them.

Not all of us, has the capital to go full mining. {Due to different other reasons, eg. Noise / high electricity cost etc. etc} but we still want to be part of it. Cloud mining open up that part to most of us, with much lower investment.

If a company shows proof of mining, being done, we can consider investing and supporting them.

Everyone did with PBmining, only people wanted to take the risk Wink

1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014: The year of the mining bubble on: December 15, 2014, 07:25:41 PM
Difficulty is following bitcoin's price. Lets see what happen if bitcoin price suddenly rise to $1000....

I think $1000 is not going to happen anytime soon.
We have to break beyond $400 first.

When BTC gets used more, price will rise.

The problem is, those giant company don't keep btc and they sell it almost immediately. So they will most likely drive the price down....

Yes. But When B2B BTC usage appears, there will be some BTC retained in the corporate account, that will reduce the dumping into exchanges.

That is essential to develop the bitcoin infrastructure further, bizniz can really benefit from bitcoin, yet due to al negative attention, it seems risky, while in fact it's one of the most secure networks ever!

1257  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 15, 2014, 05:54:30 AM
I always supported PBMining but unfortunately I now think this was a ponzi and here is why I think this: it is too big of a coincidence that PBMining collapsed after a series of very low difficulty increase and a difficulty decrease. When the difficulty was up, people were not able to recoup their investment because of this and PBMining just gave you back, week after week, part of your investment. You would have lost money but you would have been "happy" because this was the difficulty's fault. The profit he was making was needed to pay the clients who, through referral link, got more GHS than what they paid.

He panicked the second his private info leaked, that's why he makes it seem that he has the best interest of customers at heart, while a along he was planning the right moment the pull the plug...
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 14, 2014, 04:42:16 PM
Amazing how LTC has only 128 pages on forum.

Anyway .. anyone know where to find bootstrap.dat file for LTC sync? 166 weeks is a long time to sync up. Thanks - edit: found this from 1st April .. better then nothing I guess. http://www.lurkmore.com/litecoin-bootstrap/

Can't wait for block halving in Q3 2015.

LTC is one of the few where their own forum is more used then btctalk, that's a good thing Wink
