@vlad

Seriously, have you not been reading the leaked conversations from last November where Josh spouts on to Rishab that XPY is so incredible and innovative that there were going to be laws written around it, that Paypal and Mastercard were adopting it, Walmart, Target, Amazon etc. etc. and on and on.

He exhibits the symptoms of a delusional fantasist.

What about the amazing tech innovations of this coin? Let's see now, it is Proof of Stake and . . . .erm . . . that's it.

You are more than welcome to choose to gamble however you wish but don't come into this conversation attempting to support King Homero's pathetic blaming of 'FUD' for the fact that none of these commercial tie-ins were ever proven to be real, even to the point that some companies specifically stated that there was absolutely no connection between their company and anything Garza was claiming and there never had been.

I've seen similar stunts pulled before with Travis Mitchell from 'TRUST' coin who once tried to claim Western Union were interested in his coin by the fact he figured out they had a habit of re-tweeting anything positive that was tweeted to them, so he tweeted them something along the lines of 'thanks for the constructive meeting, I am looking forward to working with you', to which they re-tweeted it with a generic "you're welcome", making it look like they were confirming what he had said about them being interested in his coin, only days after they had shat all over bitcoin.

This is the same type of technique Josh used with the photos of him in waiting rooms apparently about to be interviewed by major news outlets etc.

In fact, in my opinion, Travis wants to be Josh and Josh wants to be Elon Musk.

I ask you Vlad, go back to the string of leaked emails where Josh is doing in private what he later also was claiming in public, which is to assert his coin was so technically advanced that government agencies and commercial vendors were queuing up to get on board the XPY train. Only, according to him, the 'FUD' from people pointing out the massive inconsistencies and outright lies suggestive of a Ponzi-based business plan is what caused every one of these major companies to change their minds? Because that is what multi-national global corporations do, right? Before they enter into business partnerships they don't bother looking at the actual facts, the paperwork, the companyh structure and financials, no, they log on to bitcointalk to see if their potential partner is getting bad reports from anonymous internet users who are all ganging together to destroy this astounding coin.

Yeah, that sound plausible.

Very needly told, my thoughts exactly. It still baffles me that crypto enthusiast would want to see CENTRALIZATION of a Cryptocoin, especially centrally issued by a company as gaw! How much red flags do you need Smiley
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGED] DogeCoinDark [POD] - Scrypt - Global Darknet is LIVE! UNTRACEABLE! on: February 24, 2015, 07:04:58 AM
hey guys, what do you think will be the bottom at cryptsy? I want to place some buy orders, but i don't know how down it will go until big rebounce

bottom I think around 9 satos it's normal for day traders to move out after some profit. but you can see the volume is still very high and many people bought around 10-12 while sell wall is there to scare people to sell at current prices, definately DOGED will go much higher in coming weeks!

Believe Doged will be pumped to around 40 Sat and stay there a long time

Care to explain which element makes you believe that?

The fact that the dev delivered, the fact that the code is awesome and provides reall anonimity, just like btc doge, is darkcoin doged Smiley

Hi Furio,
Just a couple of edits for your OP.

Doge is the only Finite product that does not have a specified value on the coin (they are DIY). They also are the only ones that come in copper or nickel (rest of the lines are sliver).

Peercoin value = 10 PPC
Primecoin value = 11 XPM
Cryptogenic Bullion = 10 CGB

Costs range from $15 to $100 each (Peercoin w/ gold trim costs $100).

All are customer funded.

Thanks for compiling all of this in one place!

Will update when I have time Smiley

An older thread had similar content.  Some of those mints may not be around anymore...but its a good start
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397258.0

A great thread for resources.  Probably the best collection of information on Physical Cryptos I've seen.

I saw it, but most coins aren't available anymore, hence my thread Smiley

I still have a few hundred of these coins available.

Still?
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: February 23, 2015, 11:16:21 AM
Stellar is the future of cryptocurrencies. The fact that people don't notice yet is quite amazing.

I doubt that. It all looks like a money making strategy to me. I haven't really seen any real developments.

Yeah all the coins in one entities hands, exactly what crypto is all about  Roll Eyes

The idea is good, but the trust needed is not realistic in this day and age....
809  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: February 23, 2015, 11:13:15 AM

812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MANDATORY UPDATE ██ ZEITCOIN MOVEMENT [FULLY POS] ██ on: February 23, 2015, 08:58:38 AM
I'm a big supporter of zeit and client mining, but your theory about POS beating POW has been disproved, it's simply not true and leeds to other difficulty not solving the problem what bitcoin and other crypto stand for, namely selling coins to maintain the network, people with pos refuse to spend their coins, grinding the theory about crypto nto a halt...

Interesting way to look at it , but think about it like this.
If all the people with POS refused to spend the coins why is it that the trading volume on cryptsy stays at least ~200 million zeit, people are selling their zeit coins and alot of people are giving away the interest for whatever the buy price is currently, that is why most POS coins that have a decent amount are all below 10 satochis.
Also on Comkort zeit was purchased up to 590 sat, and someone just added 1,554,275 of zeit at 589 sat.
Also most people can't believe it will rise to $1, they only see maybe a doubling at best, so they are selling whenever it hits the imaginary # they feel is too high. It will literally be their loss.

We don't have the requirements POW have,  they need more resources every 2 weeks to keep the same output.
After 1 year Zeitcoin will run on the same hardware just as well as the previous year,
Electricity & Asics prices will eventually kill all POW coins , the last survivor will be BTC , who will be either completely controlled by the corporations or the world governments.
Zeit will be the only coin that survives BTC , as we don't have it limitations.

Examples,
BTC miners quit mining because BTC price was too low.
Too many quit and you have a 51% attack or the BTC network dies as the blockchain freezes.
Our Zeit Network run on PCs , as an app that can be minimized , and basically costs us nothing since we are using our PCs anyway. So our network can run no matter how the price of zeit change.
POW can not match that.

And Zeit Speed compared to BTC and even LTC, is amazing.
Zeit leaves both in the dust speed wise.

 Cool

By that logic POW isn't a problem either, look at all the people trading btc and ltc....

Stop dreaming about zeit to reach 1$  Grin

But if you really think it can happen, I'm ready to sell my zeit to you at 0.50$ each, soo you'll double your profit  Cheesy Cheesy

Put it on the exchanges and lets see what happens.   Cheesy
But you will probably have to wait until zeit is at the 5% rate.

Don't think when we hit a buck , you & Mitras are not going to get an I Told Ya So.   Cheesy

 Cool

FYI:
POW coins prices has been falling for months now,
Ask yourself what happens if the US Auction of 50,000 BTC triggers a temporary price collapse in BTC or thru some strange quirk in LTC, and BTC price drops to $10 or LTC to 1 penny, if such a thing happens, it will become clear that POS style coins are the only ones that can stay profitable.
Once that thought reaches enough people Zeit will be purchased like we have never seen before.
And you guys who are saying it will never reach a $1, will be refusing to sell your zeit for $1 because you will think it is worth more.
Been running multiple simulations of Future Events that can affect Zeitcoins, it hits at least $1 in every single one. The speed of it reaching $1 vary in different simulations, but the result is the same in all.
Ask yourself if LTC dropped to a penny would you sell your zeitcoins or would you buy every zeit you could get your hands on. Long Range thought there will be a US $ pairing with Zeitcoin when we hit a $1.

Straight up, how am I supposed to invest in this when you are pre-mining to  "donate to charity".  It makes no sense.  In your mind it is probably attractive to people and they will think that you are a good guy for wanting to help others.  That is fine and being charitable is a good thing but this is such an inefficient way to be charitable it comes off as a ploy rather than an actual initiative.

Drop the premine and I will consider participating.

Good luck with your project.

Here the same, don't understand why it needs to be 2.000.000 (!) coins, fair distribution aaaaaaaaand it's gone....

It's possible that it will fall back to 1 sat temporarily, because there are so many mined coins. Anyone telling you for sure what price it will be, don't touch it with a ten foot pole, NO-ONE can tell you that, and if they claim they can, they will dissapoint you Smiley

Just do what feels right, the only advice in crypto Smiley

site down for anyone else whats goin on over there?
Definitely down, just in time for the Chinese New Year, they said they will work through it but I doubt at full staff. Expect a long downtime.

I think it's all BS and they're just waiting for the exchange rate to bounce back...
Bounce which way? It's 245$ currently, isn't that up ?

What was the price in november, exactly Smiley
818  Economy / Collectibles / Re: casascius 2013 brass 0.5 and 1.0 individuals and sealed rolls on: February 21, 2015, 08:14:45 AM
Two questions: 1 - are you firm on your pricing? and 2 - your cutoff date is April 1, does this mean that anyone who has secured a preorder spot by that time should expect to receive their coins shorty after that time even if enough coins are not reserved by then?

1.3 for a 1 btc casacius coin, you won't find it better then that Smiley

Do you think he will pay back our Bitcoins???

Not voluntarily. Find some police or a lawyer to help.

There are non to slim btc left, what's left will be confisqated by law and sold off.
