261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Whore Madam too Conservative to use bitcoin on: June 22, 2011, 03:50:46 PM
To my knowledge she isnt a whore. Heck they dont even give a guy a "happy ending", let alone intercourse.

Apparently there are a large number of powerful men who enjoy paying to be Dominated, probably because it ads contrast to their everyday life. Giving someone else the power over them for a change ... at a handsome fee.

That said, she has quite valid concerns. Powerful men in busienss are generally conservative in nature for many reasons, but mostly I would suspect its because conservatives are pro-business. Pro -advertising, pro-establishment controlled media, and pro whatever sells their products and services to the most people.

Given that the majority of the population is indoctrinated and manipulated by those, the connection between bitcoin and illegal activities and libertarian political beliefs could hurt her business causing these powerful men to cease patronage of her business out of principle or possibly fear of being wrapped up in something that could cause them unwanted attention or exposure.

263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security on: June 22, 2011, 08:43:31 AM
Security must be simple

Security can't  be simple. I've never seen an online banking site that was simple to use. And for good reason.

security must be simple for the end user, not the developer, as exemplified by the recent events.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security on: June 22, 2011, 08:12:05 AM
@Bind,

That one remembered me those guys selling stuff at eBay like iPhone4 20 USD (+450 USD Shipping).

Indeed, however it proves the point that password security is up to the site developer, not the person using the service.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin part of the elite, the illuminati, new world order? on: June 22, 2011, 08:06:21 AM
I have no doubt you disbelieve it.

99% of the worlds population either does not know about it or disbelieves it.

I truly envy you disbelievers. It would make life so much easier to blanketly disbelieve without the formality of fact and evidence to back it up. Unshakable faith in your leaders and governments and their controllers is a wonderful thing. I used to have it and it was glorious.

Researching these things and history can change nothing. It's simply the path to the truth and acceptance. Knowing about it can change nothing in and of istelf. That takes activism and time and dedication.

Once researched for yourself and accepted, we can then educate others, help them on their path to research and acceptance, then we can prepare. To me its all about preparation. Teaching my family the truth so they can accept and prepare appropriately in case the shit hits the fan.

You see I believe the elite are scared of us, especially those of us in the countries where we still have much of our freedoms, liberty, most notably, the right to form militia and to keep and bear arms. They need to keep us happy, because history repeats itself. In history, time and time again oppressive and tyrannical, and totalitarian governments and leaders have been systematically overturned by The People they tried to take to much from. This is their achilles heel. Their weakness. So they must make us believe that we are happy in a propagandized world, but we are actually enslaved. Shackled by debt. Our obligation to them. Debt is their main tool but there are thousands of others. You do not have to be hanging on a wall, in chains, or in a prison cell to be enslaved. All it takes is to be obligated.

They need to keep us happy. Bailouts, interest rate changes, quantative easing, social programs, assistance, welfare, you name it, whatever it takes they will do it to keep us happy so long as we have the right to keep and bear arms, because otherwise you have 300 million people who are armed and have nothing, thus nothing left to lose. 300 million people out the get them. There's nowhere they can hide. So they will do anything to keep the system going. At some point it will fail for them because they are systematically raping us, the system is a ponzi scheme, and they will not be able to keep it up forever. Thats the day we need to prepare for. They day they go to far.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin part of the elite, the illuminati, new world order? on: June 22, 2011, 01:40:46 AM
Well I was kidding about being "comforted" about a secret controlling group. But i don't believe such a group exists. I DO think history is easy to find. If you go to a university and study the secret societies you will find that, while they had some power, they could not control the world. Not even close. Most of them died out.
It would be magnitudes more difficult to control the world today.

ok since you obviosuly have no clue, perhaps backtracking is what you need to do.

Start with the United Nations. Track their history and the people involved, then track their history.

Rinse and repeat.

Do the same for the club or rome, council on foreign relations, the carneigie foundation, the ford foundation, the rhodes trust/rhodes scholarship, the rockefeller foundation(s), world bank, international monetary fund, world wildlife foundation, knights of malta, freemasons, bilderberg group, the bohemian society, and oh so many many more.

Its pretty simple. They worship intellect. Luciferians. They believe man can become their own God through knowledge. Their goal is to learn and teach each other how to control everyone else. Thats the big secret. The Light. They believe that because of their superior intellect, and the fact the rest of us do not learn and use our intellect to it fullest ability, they have the supreme right to rule over us.

Think about it. All these elites are the most powerful people in the world. The richest. When you are a competative business-person at the top of your game, and you have all the money in the world to buy anything and anyone you could ever want, whats left to attain or strive for Huh

Pure unadulterated Power ... Control.

Every major player of wealth, power, and control is part of a secret society linked with others. They have rituals around fire performing mock sacrifice rituals. That mock sacrifice represents us. The fire represent knwoledge and intellect, becasue fire was and still is the most important "technology" every invented. Nothing we value today would exist if it wasnt for fire. Nothing. Fire is one of their most important symbols. And its all about symbolism and there are alot of symbols.

Think about man before fire. He was lonely, scared, cold, and was hunted down and soemtimes eaten. he didnt know what to do. Until that first strike of lightening struck a tree causing fire. Eventually man was able to keep the fire going. Then manipulate and create it. He was probably thought of as the first King, the first Priest, the first scientist. Everyone worshiped him because of this new technology that SAVED THEM from the terrors of the night. The animals trying to kill them.

Luciferians take this a bit farther and see daylight night as the Dark Prince, and daylight as the Saviour.

this is just a minute fraction of what they elite worship and believe.

this is not what I believe.

it doesnt matter what you or I believe.

it matters what THEY believe because of its daily effects on us, our families and communities, our governments and monetary systems ... and our very lives depend on it.

they own it all ... global corporations .. governments ... leaders ... legislators ... local school boards ...etc

most are dupes while the ones near the top are adepts.

wake up.

learn your history.

besides its alot more interesting that watching Survivor or a football game.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making it public: I have moved the disputed 643.2771 BTC into an escrow account on: June 21, 2011, 11:41:24 PM
There is one fact to all of this.

MT Gox doesnt lose anything.

Why is that ?

After all, it was 100% their fault by their own admission.

Shitty security or shitty choice in who they hired to audit is irrelevent, the buck stops with MT Gox.

What if this was all an elaborate contrived ruse on MT Gox's part to skim money and bitcoins.

Yes, yes I know lots trust MT Gox, but havent we all know people we trusted that we thought were honest, for much longer periods of time than any of us have known MT Gox, just to learn they lied, cheated, deceived, and/or stole from us ?

Ex-significant others, ex-friends, associates, even that bad seed relative ...

How much documented absolute fact is known ?

none.

just throwing it out there.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EFF donations and the Bitcoin Faucet on: June 21, 2011, 11:21:08 PM
the idea they liked best was to redistribute the coins via the Bitcoin Faucet (and have any donations that trickle in get passed back out via the Faucet).  The reasoning is that anybody who donated bitcoins to the EFF would also support the mission of the Faucet-- to promote bitcoin by giving people new to the currency a little bit to start.

It their bitcoins. Its their decission. So it sounds like the faucet is the answer.

Keep working on the faucet to secure it as much as possible.

Just because there are scammers does not mean you should not use the faucet. Much like it does not mean that bitcoins are bad because someone can use bitcoins for bad.

Anyways thats alot of time and hard work making a new google account on a new proxy/ip just to get one-thousand'th of a bitcoin. Not a real issue IMO unless they find a way to automate it.

270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin part of the elite, the illuminati, new world order? on: June 21, 2011, 05:20:11 PM
the truth is incredibly hard to find.

its been stolen, bought, destroyed, and well hidden by those who do not want much of it known. History is the key to the world we are living in today and the future.

you can find enough of it if you look hard enough to prove whats happening in the world today is designed and contrived by an insidious influence.

People like RodeoX have simply never looked. Maybe they are like the rest of 99% of the sheep population who is indoctrinated and manipulated by establishment controlled media, their schooling, advertising, fear of being different than their peers/community, government propoganda, etc.

My parents are alot like that - waving the flag around believeing the news and propaganda shoved down their throat, willing to give up more and more freedom and liberty to feel a little more secure and safe.

"... the majority of the people of the world are sleeping people ... sheeple is what they are ... and they are riding the judas goat right in to the shearing pins, and from there they will go to the slaughter, and will not know that there is anything wrong until they smell of blood of the sheeple in front of them ..."

Ya know, history is all written down.

you should go research it some time.

and I dont mean wiki, school books, or the history channel.

you might learn something to pull you away from indictrination.

or encrypt rather than hash as has been suggested by some. With encryption you can have a different encryption for each password saved. Like a system $salt, using some account information appended to the salt to use as  a key to encrypt the password:

Code: (php)
<?php
$encrypted_password
mcrypt_ecb (MCRYPT_3DES$password.$salt.$email.$name.$ip$passwordMCRYPT_ENCRYPT);
?>

273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a Bitcoin web developer's goal to create ugly website? on: June 21, 2011, 11:35:45 AM
Simplicity and a clean design is best. Facebook and google have proved that.
Lets be honest and completely fair here. Google is a search engine, I keep hearing people bring it up like it's a website when in reality it's more like a tool. It would be retarded if it were anymore than what it is.

Google is a portal to all of their services.

The search is the most predominant because thats what makes them the most money.

Its efficient, clean, and simple because thats what people want.

I absolutely hate pages with 1000 times the crap that I dont need to see or find.

If I need google Analytics, its therer.

If i need Google Earth, its there.

If I need Google Sites, its there.

If I Need Google Code, its there.

If I need Google Voice, its there.

... Images? ... Maps? ... Videos? ... News ... Shopping? ... Gmail? ...

... Translate? ... Books? ... Finance? ... Scholar? ... YouTube? ... Calandar? ...

... Photos? ... Realtime?... Docs? ... Reader? ... Groups? ...

and a TON more all from the simple, clean, and efficient Google portal.

Come on ... Just a Search Engine ?

hardly.

274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a Bitcoin web developer's goal to create ugly website? on: June 21, 2011, 08:20:40 AM
Craiglist is simply not living up to today's standards. It is slowly dying.

Craigslist is NOT slowly dying.

They had slowed because of the public outcry and attention from the illegal sex ads, which were a huge portion of their classifieds.

Today standards are irrelevent. They do not matter to the people who pay the bills... The average consumer surfer.

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/craigslist.org

It has a traffic rank of 9 - meaning the 9th most popular/visited site in the US. => http://www.alexa.com/topsites/countries/US

275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a Bitcoin web developer's goal to create ugly website? on: June 21, 2011, 08:02:18 AM
Seriously, there are a few that look decent, but the rest is all crap. We're in 2011, what you guys have was 14 years ago.

The average surfer wants simplicity so they can get what they want fast and easy. They have the attention span of a toddler and want instant gratification.

The most popular website in the world is a white background with a search form and a couple links (google).

Web developers and graphic artists who havent got a clue will complain about simplicity and "ungliness" because those sites that are so popular, probably to pump themselves up and to feel better about not being as successful as those simple ugly websites.

I am a member of a trade org bullien board that has been the same since 1996. No changes to the front end, although backend security has been updated frequently. Its still more popular than the thousands that have been put online since combined. Make much more money from the advertising as well. Its simple, easy to use, lightening fast, and you get your information fast. No clutter. Just nuts and bolts.

Geeks spend a large portion of their time online, so they can appreciate the time and effort someone puts into a fancy site. But geeks are a very small fraction of internet users. Your average surfer doesnt appreciate it. In fact the more fancy and cluttered it is the harder it is to find stuff.

Jesus cursed the fig tree.

277  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Buying new armor in World Of Warcraft should be taxed in real dollars on: June 21, 2011, 07:45:43 AM
There is no reason why you should be taxed, period.

Income tax ? I disagree with it completely. What you earn through your blood sweat and tears is yours. We should not have the federal reserve system of debt based currency and we should not have to unwillingly be collaterial chattle for its interest repayments.

Taxed on business profits and purchases ? I agree its needed, unless you want to drive on dirt roads, dig your own water well, wade through rivers and valleys, walk around or climb mountains, burn or bury your own trash, clean your own street, act as your own police/prosecutor/judge/jury, etc etc etc. Public works infrastructure and maintenance is needed and requires funding. However I do not think you should be taxed for it if you do not use it.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TradeHill - Who we are on: June 21, 2011, 07:38:09 AM
I am new to Trade Hill .. signed up for an account, but have done no trading there yet.

I have a few questions.

Why does trade hill hide their real identity ?

I mean you are asking people to trust you with their finances, so why a proxy service for the domain ownership details? I would think complete transparency would be in order.

Why does trade hill not have a no-tolerance spam policy for their referral programs like every other reputable referral company ?

Why does trade hill not terminate the referral accounts of the known spammers ?

Spam is a horrible thing. Its a crime in many areas. You should take it seriosuly unless you wishes for exposure over-ride your ethics. Which is it ?

280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Full Disclosure] More likely MtGox Post-Mortem on: June 21, 2011, 07:02:24 AM
... Or its all fabricated to make TradeHill look more secure in the eyes of the members of this forum.

I do not endorse tradehill. If you read the entire log the person who made the tradehill comments asked that they be removed from the posted log. I refused. I am not a blatant hypocrite.

I do not have a tradehill account.

I do not endorse tradehill as an exchange.

I am not in any way affiliated with tradehill.

I think tradehill is bad for bitcoin because of their blatant disregard for us financial laws and dependence on third world outsourced devs working on closed source software that cannot be publically audited.

Now that that's out of the way, back to your regularly scheduled good times!

I never said you did any of those things.

I said the possibility exists just like the possibility exists that you were duped and used by the people you have blindly trusted in your not-so [Full Disclosure].

Additionally, you or your associates has a dog in this fight in some way by saying its a Post Mordem for the exchange doing 99% of the bitcoin trading.

This leads me to further believe you want MT Gox to fail.

Again, there is no proof one way or the other... Just supposition and conjecture, wrapped in a nice thick blanket of ulterior motives and hidden agenda.
