261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Near success syndrome in trading. on: February 18, 2021, 11:52:43 PM
Ask me! My friends always go crazy while doing trading or gambling their money. Mostly in gambling people go nuts. For example, a friend of mine turned his 5 bucks bet to whooping 2K on a slot. But no, he wanted more and more so gambled the money on crash game, and guess what all he had at the end was "0". His face was red like a tomato.  Grin

Can't help it. Same thing happens whenever people are trading their money. It has to be really really responsible one otherwise one can end up with zero's. That feeling is heart felt but if you are too greedy then karma hits back.

We can't support them, besides moral base.

Yeah, that's proven caused karma or unlucky jive mate. It happened to me last 3 years ago, I been so greed and it ended up miserable losing all tokens I had and opportunity loss was really depressing. Thinking about more successful trades, would rather brought you bad effects both emotional and physical. Those days made me learned serious aspects in life which nowadays, everything will set unto right path as well.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: February 17, 2021, 11:27:30 PM
A lost cause for Mr. Ben right here, whatever people may tell or say about Jake Paul, he's just a YouTuber, and if in the case he wins against Askren, Ben's reputation among the people and the media will be utterly devastated. Whereas if he wins there's not much to say since the guy is a YouTuber. Still, I'd like to see how this fight will pan out despite me not being a fan of both personalities.

We can't only rely on how it was said or analyze though youtube reviews or something else. What's important is the reality of the game on how it's going to be the outcome when Mr. Ben and Jake Paul would perform on their match. Let's see how they'll able to throw punches in order to beat each other, and it's going to be a big fight for both of them. I'm not looking for the hype right now, need to see some heavy strikes and be entertained with their moves.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to Identify a bitcoin rally on: February 15, 2021, 11:54:37 PM
My experience from last bullrun years, has not been expected and from now on after bearish market has moved on, I've been able to determine btc rally through daily monitoring.
Everytime the price goes up, I recorded all the graph and project on my computer. On that aspects it will help us see how the market went on and progress can be transparent compared to those who never exert some efforts.
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Altcoin's loss become Bitcoin's gain? on: February 15, 2021, 11:31:53 PM
Today the crypto market has behaved in a wierd manner wherein we have seen bloodbath for some altcoins like doge, trx and all wherein other altcoins like XLM and XRP has performed well. When the altcoin goes into red then the users usually transfers their funds from altcoin to either a stable coin or bitcoin. Since Bitcoin is in the verge of further pump users would prefer Bitcoin as the most suitable alternative for their funds, by this way it's bitcoin's gain isn't it?

Certainly that's the gain of bitcoin, and as market continued to boom successfully for bitcoin the altcoins also go down badly most especially with unpopular tokens. Ethereum is the only coin who've been following the progress of bitcoin, demand never been declining that bad due to consistent network activities.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and Trading Strategies. on: February 13, 2021, 11:46:41 PM
First let’s start with a normal investment that is not Cryptocurrency like gold and bonds and the rest of them – you know very well that none of these that are considered legit will fetch you up to 100% in a year right?

If you invested in bonds, in a year your highest profit will be 12% , so if you invested that 500 dollars in there you’re going to be getting extra 60 dollars making it 560 dollars in total. Then you come to cryptocurrency and you’re able to double that money from 500 dollars to 1000 dollars, that’s more than enough, you can withdraw the extra 500 dollars you have got and the rest can be left in the market since it’s now like free money that you’re investing with, and if you’re lucky the market will still increase.
True, but not quite true. If the investment is in the right asset, it may be profitable. But if it's in shitcoin, that's what they get. Timeliness, momentum, and selection of the right asset will determine the success of an investment. Not all cryptocurrencies are profitable, some of which can hurt trader and investor.
It became the right on if you're just smart enough on your decisions and that might be quicker or random state. Altcoins has no assurance, because you should be selective on those coins that has sustainable value. Potential profit will follow once you belong to the project that has strong roadmap plans, but if it only ride with the hype I don't think it will be successful.
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where can i learn elliott waves theory ? on: February 13, 2021, 08:12:30 PM
i want to start learning about elliott waves , were is the best source to study it ?

Trading book could help you learn different ways and every pattern has several options to gain full knowledge towards it. Though there's a huge risk behind I think when you successfully mastered every steps in trading guides, minimal loss will tend to exist. In my small group together with a friend who's also a trader, he'd able to guide me and I also did to read books that he provided as part of learning process.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUDS are big Confirmations that were in a Bull Market!!!!!! on: February 12, 2021, 10:17:45 PM
Expect more FUDS so the rich dudes can get in cheaper and hop on the btc train  Roll Eyes

I'm guessing we will get Tether FUD once BTC reaches 50k or 70k to correct it down to 40k again.

FUDS can easily be made, people are not buying this so they can easily spread it in the news, social media, on the internet? It can be found everywhere. And this is usually happening when the market is in decline. People will start talking negatively which is really annoying.

But since we are in a rising trend, we can't hear about when it drops. They are off having positive insights and looking farther compared to the reality.
I was so thankful then coz this make the market not boring but full of thrill and excitement. It is kinda no chance not to hear such stories.

There's no FUD anymore, more on hype is what I'm seeing now, so, should we worry that the opposite of the bull run will happen soon? I think when people are too confident on the market situation, that's the time the surprise will come, I'm talking of unpleasant surprise that will disappoint people holding or investing during the bull run.

That's right man, I believed that hype took place nowadays and what's happening is the effect of its progress. Bullrun is happening on bitcoin, but not for the entire cryptocurrency because altcoins was still on bloody phase and still more shitcoins have been dead. Only btc have shown an ultimate rise these days, and only miracle could help those unknown coins to prosper.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 12, 2021, 08:45:50 PM
News are coming that Apple is going to buy cryptocurrency.

Apple can surge another 25% by adding cryptocurrency services to its Wallet app, RBC says :
https://www.businessinsider.in/stock-market/news/apple-can-surge-another-25-by-adding-cryptocurrency-services-to-its-wallet-app-rbc-says/articleshow/80757342.cms

They choose the right decisions to adopt cryptocurrency bitcoin on their payment system, and with that potential surge of 25% I think more apple users will gain interest for this news. Services is very important for them, and hopefully it also brings more progress for bitcoin as it contributes to the worldwide growth of it economy.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: February 11, 2021, 11:10:11 PM
I am still skeptical if a fight between those two happen until the contracts are officially signed. Joshua has avoided dangerous fighters so far as beste as he could.
You must give Wilder credit that he fought fury. If the fight Joshua vs. Fury really happens i think that joshua only has a chance to win if he knocks fury out, because fury is so good at avoiding punches and dancing around that he will probably land more punches overall.

Fury moves a lot in the ring, good  in counter punching and he can take punches, that's how difficult to beat him, however, AJ here is also a champion, so he always have a chance. In the early betting lines, AJ knows that he is the underdog, I hope that will encourage  him to train harder as this is the biggest fight of his life as a boxer.

They're both compatible to fight with each other, so that their best opportunity to match soon as long as both camp will negotiate for the upcoming fight well. Chances on both teams would be great and preparations for fight might be tough and expectations would highly possible for hype, which everyone loved to hear then also betting relied on this scenario as people choose which of the two is worthy for their choice.
270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: February 11, 2021, 10:21:25 PM
i learned about
Japanese candles
classic analysis
EW theory
harmonic analysis

and about the Indications, i learned how to use

You need to develop your skills and analysis, once you become expert of different strategies in trading you won't fail in different situations. Learning stage isn't easy, patience and control of emotions is very important. Of course your self confidence always matter, everytime you deal with pressures and struggles in the midst of trading difficulties.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: isn't a crypto market really funny? on: February 11, 2021, 09:47:55 PM
I think I will reach this conclusion after several years of activity in the crypto market. God forbid, we have thousands of currencies that are better than doge coin, doge coin has not even updated its code, it belongs to the day it was created, that is, its creator says I sold all the capital, but one day it eats 100% positive, Ilan Mask drinks water, Bitcoin becomes more expensive, Ilan Mask sleeps, Bitcoin becomes more expensive, everything is abnormal, nothing really works for us, and I'm a fan of two fires, but isn't a crypto market really funny? Wow, these friends who have just entered the crypto market, I would like to say that the currencies that go up one hundred percent a day go up one hundred percent. In the market, go for a currency whose one-year changes are more limited, not a currency like x, which has increased seven hundred times. I saw a big loss in this market, so I coveted it. I hope you all benefit.

Though it became expensive in a sense, that doesn't stop many patronizers to hold this valuable asset. It kepts soaring higher and influenced many people, that's why it gained more popularity these days. The more it becomes more expensive, the more it provides bigger opportunities to all who've been a part of its journey.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits Record $48.2K on: February 10, 2021, 11:55:41 PM
Bitcoin and ether surpassed Monday’s price records. In ether’s case, CME’s futures launch has given the asset more credibility than ever before.

Bitcoin (BTC) trading around $47,174 as of 21:15 UTC (4:15 p.m. ET). Gaining 7.1% over the previous 24 hours.

This situation of Bitcoin becames tremendous for several hours, and if the trend continues to perform great; I think we're just near to touch around $50k at an earlier stage. Most of the topics and speculations was really hoping for good that we're going to reach that impressive value. But, always be careful after that huge pump happening! There could be faster declination of value because short time traders could quickly initiate selling their holdings for quicker profit.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: February 10, 2021, 11:31:43 PM
Last few days I was able to gain around $200 with my old coins which I hold for a year, due to less valued project. Somehow an opportunity came this year and given me enough profit to be used for my expenses. Definitely, this is a great help and it accommodated the budget for my family and fortunately that money used already for the surgery of my eldest son's keloid.
Trading with bitcoin is really hard these days specially when you're just doing bounty, but still thankful for being sustainable.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I always return to Bitcoin on: February 10, 2021, 10:02:59 PM
That's how amazing bitcoin could change every perspective in our lives, and even though the occurrence was long term it never failed us to provide a good outputs. Many people have been frustrated for many times, but here in cryptocurrency! Bitcoin showed proof that everything is possible to happen.
On the state of $30k-$40k per btc, it was just a speculations last 3 years and now we've experienced it's reality. So let's keep holding our asset, who knows $100k each is highly feasible in another 3-4 years and so on.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run: will it end in May? on: February 10, 2021, 04:40:34 PM
The first two runs ended exactly one year after the mining reward halving.
E.g. December 2016 => Dec. 2017

IMO it will be the same this time, May 2020 => May 2021

So we shall assume the price the BTC will have in May will be the maximum for this cycle?
Should we sell in May?

I don't think so if I could make it on may, since my asset isn't that big and I still look forward for another dip to take another chance for bitcoin to hold. Regrets always happens in the first place, because of failing to hold my coins those old golden days. Honestly I can't turn back those times, so I need to to hope for another good chances and fulfill my dreams all over again.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 09, 2021, 11:26:52 PM
~snip~
But, indeed there are people who hate cryptocurrency, and that’s because it baffles them, so they don’t like it. Finally, cryptocurrency is not bad, these people are just don’t understanding it.

~snip~
Bitcoin in some countries is only legalized and considered a commodity, so for me personally Bitcoin is still money and at times its placement is more inclined towards a commodity.  That's the difference with fiat.

Just to make this clear for everybody who still don't understand what cryptocurrency really is, it only became money when you spend it towards our needs and wants. This will become valuable when it's worth with our desired price which we ever desired to. Fiat is more than physical form, and cryptocurrency is more of digital figures that can be used through computers that used intenet connectivity through blockchain network that provides us convenience.
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL THIS BULL RUN LAST ? on: February 09, 2021, 10:29:16 PM
This bullrun might continue continue for a long weeks and it's still uncertain when will it stop becuase the market didn't showed a slightest sign of crash. Big investors like institution and billionaires, even big companies are heading to pour a massive investment to Bitcoin, so I don't think Btc would stop rising even after the $50,000 mark is reached.
Bitcoin's range today seems limitless and its Indeed a different bull season from the rest of the history.

As you said long weeks will come ahead, so that means more bigger opportunities to profit several holders whom able to buy during slight corrections. If another bullrun waves could initiate until the middle of the year, I think we're going to achieve $50k sooner. We're nearing towards that price right now, and I would recommend diverting some of your asset on btc to generate more profit.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: February 08, 2021, 11:07:00 PM
How do you think when the bitcoin price can hit $50k?

When I can see the ongoing trend nowadays, bitcoin has its very huge potential to go up high one of these days. We just need to sit back and relax while waiting for that great moments. Enjoy the previledges that cryptocurrency could give us in the future, and I hope everyone would soon harvest their gains particular on trading.
I knew it wasn't an easy task to do, and it needs patience and determination.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Hycon (HYC) a good token to HODL or a lost cause today? on: February 07, 2021, 11:03:33 PM
Its all-time high is far from the price that we're looking at today.

Should I get rid of my HYC for what little there is left of the investment (with a loss) or buy more?
I wouldn't buy anymore. But if you have that choice to sell it and buy something else, this is what I'm going to do. I'll sell it for bitcoin.

Good choice for bitcoin, but also think about with other alt like xrp or trx because that's also a sustainable asset nowadays. The potential of those coins will be great, based on the trend it has in several trading site particular with binance and other following exchanges.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs eth on: February 06, 2021, 11:18:35 PM
A year ago I bought 1 BTC and 20 ETH
I have very high hopes for eth and was wondering if I should transfer all or some or none of that bit coin into eth.
It’s dumping right now but I was thinking since there’s a discrepancy in the price might be a good time to get in
Let me know ur thoughts
Thanks so much

Price is looking so awesome, but eth has much higher transaction fees as to compared with btc. Right now, I still prefer to choose bitcoin instead of ethereum because it remains consistent and never failed me on my profit. Most if the time I got some withdrawals from eth, is painful to think about $20 as an expenses for transaction.
