261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin regulation on: January 20, 2018, 11:38:40 PM
I would say that regulation is far better than complete banning of crypto currencies. This would help crypto currencies to progress in the long run.We could soon hope that other countries which have a stand against cryptos also would regulate cryptos instead of opposing.
262  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia and HITBTC on: January 19, 2018, 11:51:06 PM
That's why you should be very much careful while selecting exchanges to deposit our crypto coins as its our hard earned money and we could not just allow any one to loot our money.Nowadays, lots of new exchanges are being opened and i don't know how people start using such exchanges without checking whether they are legit or not.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining - early days on: January 19, 2018, 11:45:39 PM
Actually,i was not in the bitcoin world at that time. But it is said that people used to mine bitcoins even with their CPU systems easily. Then it became harder to mine and people switched to GPU mining and now it could be only mined with powerful ASIC miners.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Staged Market Manipulation by China? on: January 17, 2018, 11:39:18 PM
If China creates FUD, saying they'd ban this and that, then when everything drops they rebuy.
They probably hold the most coins of every country?
It might be true because their activities related to bitcoin were always suspicious.News related to china was earlier mostly used by FUD spreaders mostly to create panic among newbies and make them sell their coins. But now its no more possible. Now even FUD spreaders hardly search other factors to create panic in the market. Now at current stage, news about south korea has an impact on crypto prices.China does not hold any crypto coins and actually they are not in need of it.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which media do I have to support and spread? on: January 17, 2018, 11:36:35 PM
Yes we should understand clearly about bitcoin and support it.It's really more valuable than a fiat currency. But i think that the media is mostly influenced by the banking community to spread false news about bitcoin.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Сryptocurrency Phobia - new social phenomenon on: January 17, 2018, 11:31:12 PM
I would say that most of those who only see the negativity of bitcoin and spread the same are just half boiled eggs.On the other hand,i would say that its mostly a propaganda spread all around the world being sponsored by bankers and financial companies as they could not directly face and stop bitcoin's growth. We could see media continuously criticizing bitcoin to create an image that its just an other scam in the minds of people.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going down like mad! Why? on: January 17, 2018, 11:26:40 PM
That's a normal process going on in bitcoin market. It has already seen lots of ups and downs in it's price.Well china has already lost its significance in the bitcoin market but the changes in south korea would be one of the reason for such a fall in prices of crypto currencies. But the good thing is that instead of completely banning cryptos, south korea has decided to regulate cryptos which would soon have a positive impact on thecrypto market.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN on: January 14, 2018, 03:45:18 PM
With a lot of news around this days about some countries banning bitcoin and so on. Is it actually possible for a country to ban bitcoin or other altcoins? Or the news are just rumor from some people that want the price to deep so they can scoop enough of the coin at deep.
I think that no country would be able to ban bitcoin or altcoins completely. We could see people in china just shifting their bitcoin trading to counter sale after china took strict actions against bitcoin exchanges.Even if any country bans bitcoin, people could use VPNs to work in bitcoin without being identified. So,it would not be successful to ban bitcoin or any altcoin.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: January 14, 2018, 03:40:36 PM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?
I think that the guy already had some depression and that's why after getting a loss in crypto trading,he might have come to such decision. Some might get addicted to trading and may sit in front of the laptop 24 hours. But we must try to control our emotions and not to get excited on getting huge profits as well as not to become sad on facing losses.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Bitcoin and GOODBYE on: January 14, 2018, 03:32:26 PM
Alright

"Bitcoin is king" "Bitcoin will keep growing" "Bitcoin is the leader" "Bitcoin will never be replaced" -newbie.
Why are people still so convinced about this?

Bitcoin is great, we learned a lot of it. Without Bitcoin we wouldn't have those other cryptocurrencies.
But just because Bitcoin is the pioneer doesn't mean it can't be replaced.
Bitcoin Cash is just a clone with bigger blocks, this will only solve the problem temporarely. So forget about it.

It's clear that Bitcoin isn't the best coin anymore. Problem is because of all this hype there is a lot of new dumb money that only see Bitcoin's insane price growth. That kind of people that leave their money on Coinbase is what I'm talking about (for long term).

If people would look at things more objectlively things wouldn't have gone this way.
I'm not naming other coins because I don't wanna make this a pump post.

Too much dumb investors these days.. Bitcoin is no longer useable in a normal way but noobs will never realize because they never make a transaction to their own wallets because they don't even know it's decentralized and stuff...

I hope Bitcoin will fail soon. It has had enough time to be adapted to its use of today. Why can't Bitcoin be as good as other and better crypto's? I have no idea. But in my eyes it's already game over for Bitcoin.
I know theres gonna be a lot of fanboy hate coming to this post. Don't make them ruin this topic please.

Thanks to those who made Bitcoin possible, we will never forget you. But now it's time to move on.

DEAL WITH IT!!

Wise choice
I think that both of the above posters hate bitcoin and they just want to show bitcoin down.Bitcoin has already seen lots of haters like this but its still progressing.Bitcoin has seen lots of dips in the past and has recovered. When amazon soon accepts bitcoin payment, then a big difference could be seen. But lightning network has to be activated before that.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reliance JioCoin on: January 13, 2018, 06:08:33 PM
Ambani family is a well known multi millionaire industrialist family in india. One of the family member have recently launched successful projects in indian telecom industry named Jio.Now,they are going to launch a coin with that same name as Jiocoin.Definitely it would get famous quickly in india bringing india to the main stream of crypto world.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Adoption on: January 13, 2018, 06:03:03 PM
Do you think when time comes for crypto coin's mass adoption comes, prices of coins will stabilize?
Even if mass adoption happens, still there would be variation in demand and sell order of crypto currencies. So,price would not get stabilize at any time. Also it was predicted earlier that when big firms like CME,CBOE enter bitcoin market, its price would get stabilized but still we witness price fluctuations.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laptop Stolen with Bitcoin Wallet on: January 13, 2018, 05:55:08 PM
My laptop got stolen a few hours ago. It had all my data including bitcoin too.
Fortunately I had the seeds with me and I have now installed Electrum on my work machine and recovered the wallet with those keys.
It also asked for a password and I have gone with a new one. The wallet is still Synchronizing.

Now my question is, are my bitcoins safe now? Do I need to do anything else? The stolen laptop has the electrum in it, what else should I do to make sure that my bitcoins are secure?
Unless you have not saved your seed or password in any folder of your wallet, your bitcoins are safe enough now.But what is the problem is that electrum wallet opens automatically when it is opened and it does not ask for seed. But without your password,he could not send your bitcoins away. So,better download a new wallet and transfer your bitcoins from old wallet to the new one.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bubble on: January 12, 2018, 11:52:19 PM
No bitcoin is not a bubble. It has undergone price correction already and if it had been a bubble, then it would have almost burst much earlier.I hope that bitcoin is not over valued to be termed as a bubble.I think that the critics of bitcoin are continuously terming bitcoin as bubble for the past one year and still it continues to progress.Bitcoin has some use as a payment option and so it has continuous demand based on usage and so,it its not a bubble.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: January 12, 2018, 11:49:52 PM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink
Actually bitcoin got created as a digital currency. But in reality, now it's being used both as a currency and as an asset. In future too,it would be used more as a digital asset. If it has to get used as a currency, then the high transaction fee issue has to be solved by activating lightning network.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another excellent buying opportunity for Bitcoin on: January 12, 2018, 11:47:10 PM
Yes this is a great chance for buying bitcoins at cheap price as bitcoin has already proved its potential by reaching ATH price of 20,000 dollars. This is what early investors are doing, buying silently at price dips instead of complaining and selling in panic. So,just follow the rule "Keep calm and buy as much as you can during the price dips".
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the currency of the future? hahaha on: January 12, 2018, 11:42:26 PM
Bitcoin was the virtual currency of IT geeks and hackers. After the bitcoins began to buy housekeepers, children, janitors, postmen and even my grandmother, they became impossible to use.
High commission, today my friend wanted to pay the BTC through a token for a cup of coffee worth $ 5, he would have to pay a commission of $ 10. Grin
Anonymity? hahaha, any person knows where and on what wallet funds are transferred.
The currency of the future does not have commissions and makes transfers instantly!
Today I can say that BTС has no future if it does not solve its problems. Companies will switch to other, more modern currencies such as "gram."
P.S Sorry, just I'm very angry right now because I can not make small transfers it's bullshit.

Bitcoin does not suit for micro transactions now.I hope that bitcoin was not created for buying a cup of coffee. When lightning network gets activated, then all transaction issues related to bitcoin would get solved. Also,i hope that its mainly bought as an investment which would give good returns in a small span of time and not bought by hose keepers and grandmas for transaction purpose.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 11, 2018, 06:04:44 PM
I hope the ICO craze will end soon.
I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.

I dont think by the same way as you, icos are a good thing after all.

Maybe without them, there would not even be a quarter of all the altcoins that are on the top 20 at the moment.

Yes,ICOs have been found to be the best way for raising funds for new projects as well as existing companies.Even institutional companies have started to enter the ICO market for raising funds. We should not come in to the conclusion that ICOs would die on just seeing some scam ICO projects. There are some promising ICOs too.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: January 11, 2018, 06:00:35 PM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.
You are right. But most of them want to get rich. They think crypto currencies as a quick rich scheme. They need immediate results. It would take some time for the coin to get established well so that its price starts rising gradually.Only newbies mostly panic and become weak hands selling their holdings.Impatient holders earn nothing and they mostly just go out of the crypto market itself just complaining.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: January 11, 2018, 05:57:32 PM
Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!
Nowadays,ICO has been found to be the best investment as we could get coins at much cheaper prices since we buy it before getting listed.By this way, with even a small investment, you are able to buy more coins. But what would make the difference is chosing the best ICO by analyzing the company's previous performance and knowing about its future plans and also checking its developer team.
